Wash & fold

Laundry you never have to think about

Collected, washed at 30°C, folded and brought back. Priced by the load rather than by the item, on the same rounds that serve London's hotels and restaurants — which is why there is no minimum order and no surcharge for being a household.

Why it goes wrong

Wash and fold fails on the boring things

Nobody loses a customer over the wash. They lose them over a missing sock, a bag that arrives damp, or a slot that moves without warning.

  • Loads get mixed

Two households' laundry batched into one machine to fill it is how items go missing and colours run. Each order runs as its own load — that is what 'up to 6kg' and 'up to 12kg' actually mean.

  • The slot moves

A collection window that shifts by a day is worse than a slower promise kept. Slots are fixed rounds, not a driver's best guess, because the same van is already serving commercial accounts on that street.

  • It comes back damp

Under-dried laundry folded into a bag smells within hours. Everything is dried to finish and folded warm, not packed to meet a van.

How it runs

Five steps, and one bag

The same sequence for a student's weekly load and a café's aprons.

  1. Collection

Picked up on the existing round in our own van, in your bag or ours.

    06:00–01:00, Mon–Sat

  2. Weighed and logged

Weighed at the plant, so the price you were quoted is the price on the invoice. Over 6kg simply moves to the next band at £3.14 a kilo.

    Before anything is washed

  3. Washed at 30°C

Mixed is lights and darks together. Separated runs them apart — £33.93 for up to 12kg, which is two loads, not one bigger one.

    Mixed or separated

  4. Dried and folded

Dried fully, folded warm and packed. Ironing is included on the Premium and Elite subscriptions, extra otherwise.

    Dried to finish

  5. Back on the round

Returned on the same round that collected it. 24 hours on Premium, same-day on Elite.

    48 hours standard

Turnaround is from collection, not from when the bag reaches the plant.

Standards

The same plant that does the hotels

Household wash and fold runs at the Wembley site alongside the commercial linen, on the same machines and the same quality checks. It is not a separate, lesser operation.

That is also why the economics work: your load rides a round that already exists, so there is no delivery surcharge for a single bag.

When a subscription beats the load rate

The arithmetic, not the pitch.

  1. Under 6kg a week

    Pay per load

One mixed wash is £16.97. Below about one load a week, paying as you go is cheaper than any plan.

  2. 10kg a week

    Household Lite, £25

Two 6kg loads at the per-load rate would be £33.94. Lite covers 10kg for £25 with a fixed weekly slot.

  3. 20kg a week

    Household Premium, £40

Ironing included and 24-hour turnaround. At the per-load rate the same weight is well over £60 before ironing.

We will tell you if the per-load rate is cheaper for you. It often is.

What customers say

  • Back-to-back conferences and galas mean huge quantities of table skirts, stage linens and catering napkins at short notice. They have never missed a deadline on any of it.
Danielle Moreau Events Logistics Manager · Corporate event venue
  • LP Laundry has been an absolute game-changer for our 45-room boutique hotel. Turnaround on our bed linens and heavy plush towels is inside 24 hours without a single delay. We could not be happier with the crisp, immaculate finish.
Charlotte Vance Front of House & Accommodation Manager · 45-room boutique hotel
  • Table presentation is everything in Mayfair. They handle our heavy cotton damask tablecloths and chef whites with real precision — stains vanish and the starch finish is always spot on. The daily collection has never let us down.
Mateo Rossi Restaurant General Manager · Fine dining restaurant
  • Running a high-end spa means going through hundreds of bathrobes and spa towels daily. Our rotation stays fully stocked with exceptionally soft, hygienically pristine textiles. Guest comfort has noticeably improved since we switched.
Siobhan O'Connor Spa Operations Director · Luxury health club & spa
  • Our members expect fresh sweat towels immediately after back-to-back spinning classes. They handle our daily volume seamlessly, and I would single out the punctuality and the clean, long-lasting scent of the eco-friendly detergents.
Marcus Thorne Studio Manager · Boutique fitness studio
  • In clinical and aesthetic practice, hygiene standards have to meet rigorous compliance. High-temperature sanitised gowns, drapes and bed covers arrive reliably every week. I trust their quality control completely.
Dr Elena Rostova Clinic Director · Private healthcare clinic
  • Running a busy dining room alongside eight letting rooms needs a versatile laundry partner. Kitchen aprons, table runners and bed sheets all go in one collection, and the seven-day pickup schedule flexes around us.

  • For high-end short-stay apartments, guest reviews live and die by linen quality. We get hotel-grade crispness that consistently earns us five-star cleanliness ratings, and the communication lines are short when something needs resolving.

Wash and fold, answered

How much is wash and fold in London?

A mixed wash up to 6kg is £16.97 and a separated wash up to 12kg is £33.93. Each additional kilo is £3.14.

If it is weekly, subscriptions start at £25 for 10kg. All of it is on the price list.

Is there a minimum order?

No. One bag is fine.

Your load rides a round that already serves your street for commercial accounts, so there is no surcharge for being a household or for collecting a single bag.

Is ironing included?

Not on the per-load rate or on Household Lite. It is included on Household Premium (£40) and Elite (£60), and can be added to any order.

What if something needs dry cleaning instead?

Anything structured or delicate goes on the dry cleaning list instead — suits from £13.46, overcoats from £14.36.

Both can go in the same collection; they are separated at the plant.

Can I pause a subscription?

Yes — paused rather than cancelled.

Most people asking to cancel are going away for a few weeks, not leaving, so pausing keeps your slot and your rate.

What is the difference between a mixed and a separate wash?

Mixed washes lights and darks together in one load at 30°C. Separate runs them apart.

Separate is two loads, not one bigger one — which is why up to 12kg is £33.93.

How long does it take?

48 hours from collection as standard. 24 hours on Household Premium, same-day on Elite.

The clock starts at collection, not when the bag reaches Wembley.

Do you wash my laundry with other people's?

No. Each order runs as its own load.

That is what the weight bands actually mean: 6kg is your 6kg, not a share of a bigger machine filled with someone else's clothes.

Can businesses use wash and fold?

Yes. The Café Wash & Fold plan is £49 a week for up to 20 aprons and 30 tea towels, with daily or twice-weekly collection and coffee and oil stain treatment.

Offices, hostels and Airbnb hosts use the same service on their own plans.

A full machine is the efficient one

Domestic machines run half-empty. Ours do not.

  • Washing at 30°C as standard rather than 40° or 60° unless the load needs it.
  • Commercial machines run to capacity, using less water and power per kilo than a home wash.
  • Your load rides an existing round, so there is no extra vehicle on the road for it.
  • Eco-friendly detergents on the subscription plans.
