The hidden operational bottleneck

Invisible is what good hotel laundry looks like

It only becomes visible when it fails — and in London hospitality one weak link in the supply chain reaches the guest before it reaches you.

  • Unreliable logistics

Late rotations that leave housekeeping stranded and rooms unready for check-in.

  • Quality inconsistency

Grey linen and rough textures that turn into guest complaints and one-star reviews.

  • Hidden inventory cost

Stock you cannot account for and items that go missing without ever being invoiced.

Four steps, then you stop thinking about linen

No tender process and no long-term contract. Most hotels are running on our rounds within a fortnight of the first call.

Serving London Since 2009
  1. Linen audit

We count what you hold, what you lose each month and what you are actually paying for it.

    Free · no obligation

  2. Par levels agreed

We set stock levels per room type so housekeeping never opens an empty cupboard.

  3. Fixed collection days

A standing slot and a named driver, so your team knows exactly when the van arrives.

    Seven days a week

  4. Back within 24 hours

Washed, pressed, checked and packed to your spec, with damaged items pulled and replaced.

    24-hour standard turnaround

Hire or wash-only, both available. If you own your stock we process it; if you would rather not hold any, we supply it and keep it topped up.

Certified is a claim.
Here is what it covers

Anyone can print a badge on a web page. Ours are externally held and externally audited, and the certificates go out with the first quote rather than on request.

Every load is temperature-logged, so a cycle can be traced back months later — which is the difference between a hygiene policy and a hygiene record.

Hire it, or we simply launder yours

Every item below is available on hire, with stock held and replaced by us — or bring your own and we process it to the same spec.

Damaged and stained items are pulled at the check stage and replaced from stock, so your par level does not quietly drop over a season.

What London businesses actually say

4.7/5

  • LP Laundry has been an absolute game-changer for our 45-room boutique hotel. Turnaround on our bed linens and heavy plush towels is inside 24 hours without a single delay. We could not be happier with the crisp, immaculate finish.
Charlotte Vance Front of House & Accommodation Manager · 45-room boutique hotel
  • For high-end short-stay apartments, guest reviews live and die by linen quality. We get hotel-grade crispness that consistently earns us five-star cleanliness ratings, and the communication lines are short when something needs resolving.
Beatrice Dupont Head of Housekeeping · Luxury serviced apartments
  • As a family-run Victorian B&B we need a partner who understands traditional hospitality. Our heritage cotton sheets are treated with real care, the drivers are friendly and the weekly delivery is consistent.
Arthur Pendelton Proprietor & Manager · Traditional bed & breakfast
  • Table presentation is everything in Mayfair. They handle our heavy cotton damask tablecloths and chef whites with real precision — stains vanish and the starch finish is always spot on. The daily collection has never let us down.
Mateo Rossi Restaurant General Manager · Fine dining restaurant
  • Running a high-end spa means going through hundreds of bathrobes and spa towels daily. Our rotation stays fully stocked with exceptionally soft, hygienically pristine textiles. Guest comfort has noticeably improved since we switched.
Siobhan O'Connor Spa Operations Director · Luxury health club & spa
  • Our members expect fresh sweat towels immediately after back-to-back spinning classes. They handle our daily volume seamlessly, and I would single out the punctuality and the clean, long-lasting scent of the eco-friendly detergents.
Marcus Thorne Studio Manager · Boutique fitness studio
  • In clinical and aesthetic practice, hygiene standards have to meet rigorous compliance. High-temperature sanitised gowns, drapes and bed covers arrive reliably every week. I trust their quality control completely.
Dr Elena Rostova Clinic Director · Private healthcare clinic
  • Running a busy dining room alongside eight letting rooms needs a versatile laundry partner. Kitchen aprons, table runners and bed sheets all go in one collection, and the seven-day pickup schedule flexes around us.
Liam Gallagher Operations & Pub Manager · Gastro pub with rooms

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply linen, or only launder what we already own?

Both. On hire we own the stock, hold the spares and replace what wears out. On wash-only your linen stays yours and we process it to the same spec — most properties start on one and move to the other.

  • Mixed accounts are normal. Plenty of properties hire bed linen and towels but keep their own branded robes on wash-only — one collection covers both.
  • On hire we carry the replacement cost of a sheet that tears in month two, rather than passing it back to you.
  • Wash-only linen is never pooled. The same items come back to the same property, not swapped from general stock.
What happens when a delivery is late?

You get a call before you notice, not after. Every property has a named account manager and a direct number, and a missed window inside the M25 is usually recoverable the same day rather than the next.

  • You get a call before you notice, not after. A named account manager and a direct number, not a ticket queue.
  • A missed window is recovered on the next round rather than the next week.
  • If it happens twice, the par count is wrong — we reset it against what the property actually used rather than what was estimated at setup.
Can you handle a sudden spike — a full house or an event?

Yes, provided we know. Tell the account manager a week out and we hold extra par stock for you; tell us the morning of and we will do what the round allows.

  • Tell us before the week, not during it. A full house or a wedding block is a capacity question, and it is easy to answer with notice and awkward without.
  • Spare stock is held at the plant, not conjured from another customer's delivery — a surge for you should never become a shortage for someone else.
  • Event weeks can take an extra collection on the same round rather than a special journey, which is what keeps the cost sensible.
  • Recurring peaks get built into the par count, so the same weekend every year stops being an emergency.
Who actually processes our linen?

We do. Nothing is subcontracted to a third site, which is what makes the ISO 9001 audit and the per-load temperature logs mean anything.

  • We do — in two plants we own and run. A production plant in Wembley and our Harrow site. Nothing is passed to a third party in between.
  • No subcontracting means the wash spec, the temperature and the handling are ours to answer for rather than someone else's to explain.
  • Every load is temperature logged, which matters on any property that has to show how its linen is handled.
  • Hotel linen is classified separately from kitchen and front-of-house work, so bed linen never follows a greasy load through the machine.
How fast is the turnaround in practice?

24 hours as standard, seven days a week. Collected in the morning, processed the same day, back on the next round — not "up to 48 hours" with the small print doing the work.

  • Collected in the morning, processed the same day, back on the next round. The round returns through your area rather than once a fortnight.
  • Seven days a week, including weekends, which is when most properties actually turn over the most linen.
  • Par levels are what make 24 hours work. Three sets per bed — one in use, one with us, one on the shelf — means a delay never reaches a guest.
Is there a minimum order or a tie-in?

No minimum and no long-term contract. We would rather you stayed because the service works — if it stops working, thirty days notice and no exit fee.

  • No minimum order on any line. A guest house is an ordinary account for us, and it is priced per item exactly like a property ten times the size.
  • Small properties go on the same round as everyone else in the area, so you are never paying for a dedicated journey.
  • No long-term tie-in and no exit fee. Terms flex with seasonal demand rather than holding you to a summer volume through a quiet January.
  • Nothing needs you to be out of your current contract first — the audit and the quote cost nothing and commit you to nothing.
How do you deal with stained or damaged items?

They are pulled at the check stage, not sent back to you. On hire they are replaced from stock at no charge. On wash-only we flag them so you can decide.

  • Stained items are re-washed before they come back, not returned dirty. Rewash is our cost, not a line on your invoice.
  • Some stains do not come out — red wine, tannin and certain oils set permanently. We take those out of rotation and tell you rather than quietly returning them.
  • On hire, replacement is our cost. You are not charged for fair wear, and torn or thinning stock is pulled before a guest sees it.
  • On wash-only we flag what is failing, so you can plan replacement rather than discover it on a busy Friday.
What does switching involve at our end?

A linen audit, an agreed par level, and a collection day. Most hotels are running on our rounds within a fortnight of the first call, and the audit is free.

  • Stock arrives before the old supplier is stood down, so there is never a night with bare beds.
  • We audit a real week first — what goes out on a Saturday, what is still in the wash on Monday, and where you run short.
  • Par counts adjust after the first month against real usage rather than the opening estimate.

The greenest wash is the one you do not repeat

Most of the environmental cost of hotel linen is rewashing and replacement, not the wash itself. Getting it right first time is what moves the number.

  • Rinse water recovered and reused rather than discharged after a single cycle.
  • Heat recovered from the wash and returned to the next load.
  • Items repaired and returned to service instead of being replaced at the first mark.
  • Route planning that keeps collections on one round rather than several.
