What goes wrong
Three things that cost Iver clubs a supplier
Clubs in Iver rarely leave a supplier over price. They leave after a run of evenings where the rack was empty at peak, or a batch came back smelling of damp.
-
Running out at the evening peak
Between five and seven the rack empties faster than the rest of the day combined. An average hides that completely, which is why average-based counts fail at peak.
-
Towels that come back smelling
Sweat and body oil build up in the fibre and a general wash does not shift them. The towel smells clean cold, then smells again once it is warm and damp — which a member notices before you do.
-
Stock that never quite balances
Loss is normal and predictable. Pretending otherwise is what turns a towel account into a reconciliation exercise nobody wins.
How it works
Four steps to a Iver club on the round
Most of the work happens before the first collection. Get the peak-hour count right and the towel rack stops being something the duty manager thinks about.
-
The count
We count at peak because that is the only hour the par level has to survive. Every other hour looks fine on any count.
An hour, at peak
-
The round
SL0 already has a collection day. We fit you to it and agree a time that lands before the evening rush rather than during it.
SL0 · 7 days

The switch
You are never between suppliers, and no evening is covered by rationing towels.
No gap in service
-
The account
One name, who has seen your floor at peak. Changes get made on a call rather than logged as a ticket.
One name, not a queue
Running more than one club around Buckinghamshire? The same account manager covers all of them, on staggered days so no site is left short.
How it is processed
No third party touches Iver gym towelling
There are two buildings between your towels and ours, and we own both. Iver collections run 9.8 miles to our Wembley plant. Nothing is passed to a third party in between.
What comes off a Iver gym floor is not what comes off a hotel bed. Body oil needs its own temperature and no softener, so towelling is classified separately rather than run at the tail of a linen load.

A Iver switch nobody on the floor notices
The reason Iver operators put up with a supplier they have stopped rating is timing: there is no good week to gamble on towels. That is a scheduling problem, not a reason to stay.
- Before you commit
We count your peak, not your average
An hour on site at the time it actually matters. Towel demand stacks into two hours, and an average hides exactly that.
- The handover
Stock lands before the old supplier stops
You are never between suppliers. New stock is on the shelf before the last collection of the old contract.
- After
Par counts adjust once we have seen a month
Month one is a measurement. From month two the par count reflects your real peak and your real shrinkage rather than an opening guess.
Nothing here needs you to be out of contract first — the count and the quote cost nothing.
The week you switch is the week nobody notices.

LP Laundry has been an absolute game-changer for our 45-room boutique hotel. Turnaround on our bed linens and heavy plush towels is inside 24 hours without a single delay. We could not be happier with the crisp, immaculate finish.
Charlotte Vance Front of House & Accommodation Manager · 45-room boutique hotel -
For high-end short-stay apartments, guest reviews live and die by linen quality. We get hotel-grade crispness that consistently earns us five-star cleanliness ratings, and the communication lines are short when something needs resolving.
Beatrice Dupont Head of Housekeeping · Luxury serviced apartments -
Table presentation is everything in Mayfair. They handle our heavy cotton damask tablecloths and chef whites with real precision — stains vanish and the starch finish is always spot on. The daily collection has never let us down.

In clinical and aesthetic practice, hygiene standards have to meet rigorous compliance. High-temperature sanitised gowns, drapes and bed covers arrive reliably every week. I trust their quality control completely.
Dr Elena Rostova Clinic Director · Private healthcare clinic -
Running a busy dining room alongside eight letting rooms needs a versatile laundry partner. Kitchen aprons, table runners and bed sheets all go in one collection, and the seven-day pickup schedule flexes around us.
Liam Gallagher Operations & Pub Manager · Gastro pub with rooms -
We use dozens of salon towels and client gowns every day. Stubborn hair dye and product stains come out effortlessly and our capes still look new. They are an indispensable part of the daily flow here.

Why Iver is collected the way it is
A historic village with world-famous film studio links and excellent city access. Unique to Iver.

Iver questions, answered
Can you reach Iver 7 days?
Yes — Iver sits on the SL0 round, 7 days, 9.8 miles from our Wembley plant.
- Shared with Cowley, Yiewsley and West Drayton — the same vehicle covers them, so a club here can be added without moving anyone else.
- A missed window here is picked up on the next round rather than the next week, because Iver is only 9.8 miles out.
- 1 clubs and spas around SL0 are already on this round — so the vehicle is sized for towel volume rather than adapted to it.
What is the difference between hire and wash-only in SL0?
Both, and mixed accounts are normal. One collection covers whichever way each line is set up.
- Hire — we own the stock, replace what wears out and carry the cost of a towel that greys in month two.
- Wash-only — your own branded stock comes back to you, the same items, not pooled.
- Most clubs split it — hired gym towels where nobody reads a label, own-branded robes in the spa where the branding is the point.
- You can move a line between the two later — clubs often start on hire and move the spa side across once branding is settled.
Can wet-area mats go on the same collection?
Yes. One collection, two specifications. The gym side is judged on whether the rack is full; the spa side on how the robe feels.
- Robes are laundered to keep their handle — a robe that feels like a gym towel has been washed like one.
- Bath mats run on a heavier classification — because wet-area linen takes a different kind of soil.
- One collection, one invoice — even where the two sides of the building want different specs.
- Hotel spas are a normal account — and the hotel laundry page covers how the rooms side is priced.
Are we tied into a long contract?
No long-term tie-in and no exit fee. Nothing in the agreement is designed to make leaving awkward.
- Terms flex with seasonal demand — rather than holding you to a January volume through a quiet August.
- Nothing needs you to be out of your current contract first — there is no cost to finding out.
- Stock arrives before the old supplier is stood down — so there is never a Iver evening with an empty rack.
- If it is not working, say so — we would rather correct the account than lose it.
Why do towels smell clean but go damp-smelling later?
It is oil left in the fibre, not the towel being old. A towel can pass inspection dry and fail it in use, because oil only announces itself once the towel warms up.
- Gym towelling runs on its own classification — not as the tail end of a bed linen load.
- Oil needs a different temperature from sweat — softener is the usual culprit: it smells pleasant and stops the towel drying anything.
- Towels that stop absorbing are usually over-softened, not worn out — that is a wash problem, not a replacement problem.
- Every load is temperature logged — and the log sits against your account, not a general plant figure.
How do you handle shrinkage?
Shrinkage is normal and predictable. We plan for it rather than dispute it.
- Expected loss is built into the par count at setup — which is the difference between a working count and an optimistic one.
- You get the actual numbers each cycle — not a statement that only makes sense to us.
- A sudden jump in loss is worth knowing about — and we would rather flag it than absorb it quietly.
- On hire, fair wear is our cost — you pay for the service, not for towels reaching the end of their life.
Is there a price list for towel hire?
It is quoted, not tariffed. Towel volume depends on member numbers and how hard the floor turns over, so a published list would be wrong for most clubs.
- We count a real week in Iver before quoting — including the evening peak, which is where every estimate falls over.
- The count includes January — which is the one spike everybody knows is coming and most quotes ignore.
- No minimum order — so a boutique studio is an ordinary account and is priced per item like any other.
- The count and the quote cost nothing — including while you are still under contract elsewhere.
How is the par count set for a Iver club?
The par count is set on your busiest two hours, not on an average day. A Iver floor gets through more between five and seven than across the rest of the day combined.
- We count on site at the time it matters — an hour on the Iver floor at peak tells us more than a year of delivery notes.
- A Monday evening and a Sunday morning are different businesses — the par level has to survive both, so it is set against the worse of the two.
- January is planned in — the one spike everyone knows is coming is the one worth building into the count.
- If you run short twice, the count is wrong — and correcting it is our job, not a favour.
Something specific to your Iver club?
Ask us directlyRewashing Iver linen is the real environmental cost
Most of the environmental cost of gym towelling is rewashing and replacing it. Getting the classification right the first time does more than any claim on a van.
- The SL0 round is a shared journey rather than a separate trip to Iver.
- Towelling washed without softener keeps absorbing, so it is replaced on wear rather than on feel.
- Stock is graded and rotated instead of written off at the first mark.
