Laundry service UAE FAQ, answered

Our laundry service UAE FAQ covers what people message us about before a first collection: booking, cost, which emirates we reach and how clothes are treated. Start typing and the list narrows.

Booking

Getting the first collection arranged, and what helps us when you do.

How do I book a laundry service in the UAE?

Message us on WhatsApp with a location pin and a time. That one chat is the booking, in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai or any other emirate. We confirm the slot, a driver collects from your door, and the clean things come back to you. There's nothing to download and no password to forget, and the team answers around the clock.

  • One WhatsApp chat books it
  • Pin plus a pickup time
  • Replies at any hour

What details should my WhatsApp message include?

A pin, a collection time and anything we should watch for. A pin beats typing out a tower, a villa gate or a compound name. Note in the same chat if trousers need a front crease, or a kandura collar has a mark on it, and it's written on the order before the driver sets off.

  • Location pin is quickest
  • When you'd like us
  • Notes on stains or finish

Is there an app or login?

No, the whole thing runs through WhatsApp. We'd rather you didn't need another app for a weekly chore. Booking, confirmation and every update about the order land in that single thread, so the history sits in one place if you need to scroll back to check a time.

  • Nothing to install
  • No account needed
  • One thread per customer

Can I book just once, without a plan?

Yes, one-off collections are completely fine. Maybe you're back from a long trip with a suitcase of worn clothes, or the guests from the holiday let have just checked out and every sheet needs doing. Book the once and pay only for what goes. The monthly plans exist for steady weekly washing; they're optional.

  • Single bookings welcome
  • Pay per order
  • Plans optional

Can you collect from me every week?

Yes, that's what the monthly wash and fold plans are for. The driver comes on a fixed weekday, so you're not messaging each time the hamper fills. Essential takes one bag a week; Family takes two. Both plan prices are listed on the pricing page, beside the single-bag rates.

  • Fixed weekday pickup
  • Essential: one bag weekly
  • Family: two bags weekly

Can one pickup carry several services?

Yes, one driver visit can take the lot. Give each service its own bag: everyday washing in one, dry cleaning in a second, footwear or a handbag on its own. That way a good silk dress never travels with damp gym towels, and each bag goes straight to the right team when it arrives.

  • Several services, one trip
  • One bag per service
  • Delicates kept apart

Which service do I need?

Ask on WhatsApp and we'll point you to it. Describe the piece, or send a picture of anything awkward like a rug, a leather tote or a beaded gown. Ordinary clothes usually belong in wash and fold. A garment whose care label says dry clean only should go to dry cleaning.

  • Ask us in the chat
  • A photo helps with odd pieces
  • Care label decides it

How do I move my collection time?

Send the new time in the same WhatsApp chat. Meetings overrun and school runs change. Reply in the thread you booked through and the team will rearrange the driver. Because someone's reading messages around the clock, a change sent close to midnight is still picked up.

  • Rebook in the same chat
  • Team rearranges the driver
  • Messages read 24/7

Prices

Costs, the order minimum and how the monthly plans work.

Is there a minimum order for laundry in the UAE?

Yes, the minimum order is AED 50 in every emirate. That figure is what keeps collection and delivery at no charge. Below it, we still collect for a small fee. The calculator on the pricing page adds up your items, so you can check where you stand before booking.

  • Minimum: AED 50
  • Collection stays free above it

What does a bag of wash and fold cost?

A 6kg bag is AED 65. A larger 12kg bag is AED 120. Either way it's one figure for the whole bag, not item by item, so pack it well. Socks, tees, nightwear and sports kit all share the bag and come back dried and folded.

  • 6kg bag: AED 65
  • 12kg bag: AED 120
  • Charged per bag

What do the monthly plans cost?

Essential is AED 250 a month; Family is AED 450. Essential gives four bags, collected one a week. Family gives eight, collected two a week, which helps a household getting through school uniforms and sports kit. Each plan works out cheaper per bag than one-off bookings.

  • Essential: AED 250, four bags
  • Family: AED 450, eight bags
  • Lower cost per bag

How much is abaya cleaning?

A plain abaya is AED 18 to dry clean. Stones, embroidery or lace move it to AED 45, because that trim is checked and worked around by hand. When it's already clean and only creased, pressing a plain one is AED 15. Give it a bag to itself.

  • Plain, dry cleaned: AED 18
  • Delicate: AED 45
  • Press only: AED 15

What's the price for a kandura?

Cleaned and pressed, a kandura is AED 15. If you've washed it yourself and want only a crisp finish, pressing alone is AED 12. A gathra cleans for AED 10, so the headcloth can travel in the same bag as the robe.

  • Cleaned: AED 15
  • Pressed only: AED 12
  • Gathra: AED 10

How much to have a shirt ironed?

A washed shirt is AED 11 to press. That rate is for shirts you've laundered yourself but can't face ironing. If it needs cleaning too, the shirt is AED 18 cleaned and pressed. Pressed shirts return on a hanger with a cover over the top.

  • Press only: AED 11
  • Clean and press: AED 18
  • Hung and covered

How do I get a quote for a rug or something unusual?

Tell us on WhatsApp what it is and roughly how big. Rugs are charged by area, starting at AED 25 a square metre, so a tape measure helps. Handbags and luggage are quoted once we've seen them, because leather and wear vary so much. Everyday pieces are all on the pricing page.

  • Standard rug: AED 25 per sqm
  • Rough size helps
  • Bags quoted after a look

How much is duvet cleaning?

A duvet is AED 56 to clean. Feather and synthetic fills are also priced by bed size on the pricing page. A duvet takes longer than clothes because the middle has to dry right through; in a sticky, humid month a damp core turns musty within days.

  • Duvet: AED 56
  • Feather and synthetic by size
  • Full table on the pricing page

Collection & delivery

Pickups, return times, the express service and how things come back.

Is laundry pickup and delivery free in the UAE?

Yes, both trips are free once the order passes the minimum. The driver collects at your door and brings everything back, and neither run appears on the bill. You pay for the cleaning alone. The AED 50 minimum is the same in Ras Al Khaimah as it is in Abu Dhabi.

  • Free collection
  • Free return
  • AED 50 minimum everywhere

How long until my laundry comes back?

Across most of Dubai, 24 hours; elsewhere we confirm at booking. Wash and fold, dry cleaning and pressing are back within a day in most Dubai areas. Very delicate pieces can take longer, and we tell you the time at pickup. In Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other emirates we give you the return day when you book. Bulky bedding takes 48 to 72 hours in Dubai.

  • 24 hours across most of Dubai
  • Other emirates: day confirmed at booking
  • Bedding in Dubai: 48 to 72 hours

How does the 5-hour express work?

Express returns your order within 5 hours where your location is covered. We collect, clean and bring it back the same day: think a shirt for tonight's dinner or an abaya for an engagement you'd completely forgotten. It isn't offered at every address, so ask on WhatsApp before you rely on it and we'll check your pin.

  • Back within 5 hours
  • Where your location is covered
  • Ask on WhatsApp first

Can I track my order?

Yes, live updates follow each order. You'll hear when it's been collected, when it's in cleaning and when the driver is heading back. That saves hovering by the door for an afternoon. If anything looks off, message the same thread and a person answers, day or night.

  • Live order updates
  • Driver ETA on the way back
  • Help at any hour

Why does bedding take longer?

Thick bedding needs extra time to dry all the way through. A duvet can feel dry on its cover while the fill inside is still damp, and that hidden damp is where a stale smell comes from. So in Dubai, duvets and other bulky pieces return in 48 to 72 hours rather than with the clothes. Other emirates: the day is confirmed when you book.

  • Dubai: 48 to 72 hours
  • Other emirates: day confirmed at booking
  • Fill dried right through
  • No stale smell

Will things come back folded or hung?

Washing comes folded; pressed and dry cleaned pieces come hung. Your everyday bag arrives ready for the drawer. Shirts, suits, abayas and kanduras come on proper hangers, each with a cover, so the trip up in the lift or across a hot car park doesn't undo the pressing.

  • Wash and fold: folded
  • Pressing and dry cleaning: hung
  • Each hanger covered

Washing & care

What happens to clothes after the driver drops them with us.

Which detergents do you use?

Eco-friendly ones that are biodegradable and hypoallergenic. They shift stains without roughing up the fibres, and they're kind to children, pets and skin that flares up with strong powder. They also leave no heavy scent, which counts when the AC is on, the windows are shut and a perfume would hang in the room for hours.

  • Biodegradable
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Safe around children and pets

Are whites and colours washed apart?

Yes, each bag is split by colour and by fabric first. White kanduras and school shirts never meet dark denim, and heavy bath towels stay out of a load of thin cotton tops. It's the step that gets rushed at home, and the usual reason whites drift towards grey over a few months.

  • Split by colour
  • Split by fabric
  • Done before any washing

How are stains dealt with?

Each piece is checked, and stains get treated by hand before cleaning. In this climate the usual culprits are sweat lines at the collar, sun cream on swimwear and make-up near an abaya's neckline. Mild cleaners lift them without harming the fabric. If you've already had a go at home, tell us what you used.

  • Every item checked
  • Treated before the clean
  • Say what you tried

Do you take designer and delicate pieces?

Yes, each designer piece is looked over on its own first. We check the cloth, any beads or embroidery and the way it's constructed, then pick the method. Silk goes for dry cleaning, and suits are finished by hand. Anything precious should travel in its own bag.

  • Inspected one at a time
  • Silk to dry cleaning
  • Suits hand-finished

Do you clean abayas and kanduras?

Yes, traditional wear is a big share of our work. Abayas in crepe or nida, embellished ones included, go through alongside kanduras, sirwal and gathras. Each is cleaned the way its cloth needs, then steamed and pressed by hand so the lines sit straight and the fabric still drapes as it should.

  • Plain and delicate abayas
  • Kanduras, sirwal, gathras
  • Pressed by hand

Could my clothes shrink?

Dry cleaning runs at cool temperatures to prevent shrinking. Heat is what pulls a garment out of shape, so we keep it low and treat the work much like a careful hand wash. On the press, heat and pressure are set fabric by fabric. Pack anything you treasure in a bag apart from the rest.

  • Cool dry cleaning
  • Press set per fabric
  • Treasured pieces bagged alone

Can I ask for a particular finish?

Yes, write it in the WhatsApp chat. Some customers want a sharp trouser crease, others none at all; some prefer shirts folded rather than hung. Put it in the message when you book and the note goes with the order. If it's how you always like things, say so each time and we'll follow it.

  • Notes in the chat
  • Creases, folding or hanging
  • Add it when booking

Areas

Where our drivers collect, emirate by emirate.

Which UAE emirates do you deliver laundry to?

All seven emirates are covered. That means Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah run on set weekly collection days, so ask for the next one there. Pickup and return are free everywhere once you're past the AED 50 minimum.

  • Seven emirates
  • Weekly days in the northern emirates
  • Free both ways

Do you collect in Abu Dhabi?

Yes, Abu Dhabi is one of our main areas. Drivers already collect on Saadiyat, Yas Island and Reem Island, among other places in the capital. Not sure your street or compound is on the route? Drop a pin on WhatsApp and we'll confirm it before you book anything.

  • Saadiyat, Yas and Reem
  • Pin to check your address
  • Free collection

Do you pick up laundry in Sharjah?

Yes, Sharjah is covered too. We collect from homes there, Talal City included, so a laundry bag doesn't have to ride along on the commute. Collection and return cost nothing once the order passes the minimum. Send a pin when you book and we'll come back with a time.

  • Sharjah covered
  • Free both ways
  • Pin when booking

Where do you collect in Dubai?

Right across the emirate, which has a page of its own. That includes Marina, JBR and JLT towers, homes on Palm Jumeirah and flats Downtown. Area-by-area detail and return times are on our Dubai page. In a newer community? Send a pin and we'll confirm before you book.

  • Marina, JBR, JLT, Palm, Downtown
  • Full detail on the Dubai page
  • Pin to check

Is the 5-hour express offered everywhere?

No, only where your location is covered. Away from those areas you still get free collection and return, just on the standard timing for your emirate. If something has to be back fast and you can't tell if your address qualifies, ask on WhatsApp and we'll check your pin before booking.

  • Not at every address
  • Ask on WhatsApp
  • Standard timing elsewhere
