What goes in the bag
Put in the clothes you wear every day. T-shirts, polos, jeans, shorts, gym kit, socks, underwear, pyjamas and swimwear all go in together. Use one bag for everything, or split dark and light colours into two bags if you prefer.
Shirts and suits are better in Clean & Press, where they are steamed by hand and returned on hangers. If you are not sure where a piece belongs, ask us on WhatsApp before pickup and we will tell you.
How your clothes are washed
Your bag is washed in a machine of its own, never mixed with another customer's clothes. We use a mild, biodegradable detergent and dry on a gentle setting, so cotton keeps its shape and colour.
Whites and darks are separated. We check pockets and look for marks before the wash starts. If a stain needs extra attention, we treat it by hand first.
Turnaround and express
Most standard orders are back within 24 hours, so it works as a next-day laundry service for guests who send a bag in the morning.
For urgent items, book before 2 PM and ask about express laundry delivery. We aim for 5 hours if your address is covered. Tell us your check-out time or flight when you book and we plan around it.
Bag sizes
A bag up to 6kg costs AED 65. A larger bag up to 12kg costs AED 120. Both are flat-rate laundry bags with free pickup and delivery. Neither price changes with the number of items, so you can fill the bag without counting.
One large bag often works out better than two small ones for a family stay.

Our driver collects from the lobby or with the concierge, if the hotel allows it, or meets you at the entrance. It works like doorstep laundry pickup, with the hotel entrance as your door.
Please keep your bag closed and labelled with your name. The driver checks the items with you, and the secure payment link is texted to you afterwards. Do not pay cash or hand over a card in the lobby.
Stains and care
Tell us about any stain when you book, including what caused it. Sunscreen, coffee, sauce and sweat marks are all common after a few days away.
We look at each mark by hand before washing. Some stains lift fully and some only fade, and we will not promise more than the fabric allows. Items with no care label are cleaned at your own risk.
Monthly plans
If you stay for weeks, a plan can be cheaper than single bags. The Essential plan is AED 250 a month for one bag a week. The Family plan is AED 450 a month for two bags a week.
A single bag is still AED 65. Ask us on WhatsApp which one fits your stay.
Safe to use
We cover loss or damage up to 10 times the cleaning price of the item. Items that were already damaged, or have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk.
Payment is by a secure link only, by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your clothes go out for delivery once you have paid.

Clean & Press is for the pieces you need to look sharp. A shirt costs AED 18 and a kandura costs AED 15. Each item is cleaned, steamed by hand and returned on a hanger, so it is ready to wear. Guests use it for business meetings, weddings, dinners and flights. It works as a guest dry cleaning service with pickup at the hotel and clear prices per item.

Shirts and blouses
Shirts and blouses are cleaned, then steamed by hand and put on hangers. A shirt for tomorrow's meeting can go out today. Book before 2 PM and ask about express if you need it sooner, as a same-day laundry service for urgent pieces.
Suits and jackets
A two-piece suit is cleaned together, so jacket and trousers keep the same colour. A single jacket can go alone. Both come back on hangers, ready for the next meeting.
Kanduras and abayas
Kanduras, ghutras, abayas, jalabiyas and kurtas are steamed by hand. Tell us where any marks are, such as a collar or cuff, and we treat them first. Each piece is checked against its care label.

Evening dresses
Evening dresses are cleaned one at a time, never in a bag. Show us any marks and we check the care label first.
Pickup and return
The driver collects from the lobby or concierge at The District Hotel Jumeirah, if the hotel allows it, and checks each piece with you. Your clothes come back on hangers, covered so they stay clean on the way. Delivery is free. If you want them for a certain event, tell us the day and time when you book.

How do I pay, and do I need cash or a card in the lobby?
No cash and no card in the lobby. After our driver checks your items, we text you a secure payment link. You can pay by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. That keeps it a contactless pickup and delivery. Once you have paid, your clothes go out for delivery.

Can you look after the delicate clothes I travel with?
Yes. Suits, evening dresses and abayas go through Clean & Press, where we read the care label first. Stretchy and fine fabrics in a wash bag are dried on low heat. Point out anything delicate when you hand over, and we note it on the order.

What detergent do you use, and is it safe for sensitive skin?
We use a commercial-grade, hypoallergenic detergent that is also biodegradable. It has a light scent and rinses out well. Each load runs in a sanitised machine of its own. If anyone travelling with you has allergies or sensitive skin, tell us when you book and we note it.
