Reading the zone list

Toys are picked up across all 13 of our Dubai zones, flats around Al Rigga and Al Qusais as well as villas in The Springs and DAMAC Hills. Collection and drop-off are free everywhere on the list.

We've grouped Dubai into 13 zones by how you'd explain the way to a driver: the Creek side of Deira, Bur Dubai and Karama, the Jumeirah coast, Al Barsha, the newer villa land past Arabian Ranches, out to Dubai South. Each holds the community names people type, such as Mirdif or JVC.

Every one of the 137 areas gets free pickup and return. Beyond Dubai, all seven emirates are served, with Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah on weekly rounds.

What we protect on every toy

A child can tell in a second if their bear feels wrong when it comes home. These are the four things we guard while it's with us.

    • Its shape

Slow drying and shaping by hand stop heads drooping and legs going flat.

    • Its squash

Fur and fleece are brushed up once dry so the toy feels as it should.

    • Its face

Eyes, noses and printed features are checked first and cleaned lightly.

    • Small skin

Non-toxic, hypoallergenic detergent only, mild enough for babies.

    Fine to send

    • Bears, bunnies and plush pets
    • Oversized arcade and mall plush
    • Lovey blankets and cot comforters
    • Tag toys, fabric books, soft rattles
    • Padded fabric play mats
    • Plush pillow animals and minky blankets
A car seat, building blocks, a wooden train and a toy with buttons kept apart from the laundry bag

    Better kept back

    • Anything with sound or lights stitched in
    • Wooden, plastic and ride-on toys
    • Torn seams or wobbly eyes (mend them first)
    • Car seats, prams and buggies (message us)
    • Collector's or very old toys (photo first)

Stuck on one? A photo on WhatsApp gets you a yes or no before booking. School clothes too? Try wash & fold

    Before the driver knocks

    1. Lift out any battery pack that comes free
    2. Tap loose sand out of the seams outdoors
    3. Toys in their own clean bag, nothing else in it
    4. A note of any wobbly eye or thin patch

    Where we draw the line

Anything soft and stuffed can usually come. A handful of things are better left out, or checked by photo first.

We clean soft, stuffed things and plush baby gear. Toys with electronics sewn inside stay at home, and hard ones made of wood or plastic aren't for us.

A split seam or a loose eye is best stitched before it travels, because a clean can open a weak spot further. Car seats, prams and buggies are a WhatsApp question first.

Not sure where a toy sits? Send a picture and you'll know before anyone comes round.

    • Soft and stuffed only
    • Stitch weak seams first
    • Car seats: ask first

Toy cleaning in Dubai: your questions

What is toy cleaning in Dubai?

A collected deep clean for your child's soft toys, returned to your door. LPlaundry picks up teddies, plush pets, lovey blankets and soft baby toys anywhere in Dubai, checks every fragile part, and cleans each toy with non-toxic, hypoallergenic detergent. It's dried slowly through to the middle, fluffed by hand and brought back, with neither trip charged.

    • Teddies, plush and loveys
    • Detergent safe for babies
    • No charge for the driver

How much is soft toy cleaning in Dubai?

Ask on WhatsApp: toys don't have a fixed price on our list yet. Send a photo or a quick count with rough sizes and we'll quote before anything is collected. Our AED 50 minimum order applies across services, and the prices section of our UAE pages shows what everything else costs, so toys can share a pickup.

    • Quote by WhatsApp
    • Minimum order AED 50
    • Collection free

Can I put a stuffed animal in my washing machine at home?

Sometimes, if the label says so and the toy is small and sound. Glued eyes, sound boxes, old stuffing and big plush are where home washes go wrong: lumps form, faces fade and the middle stays wet in a closed flat. If you're unsure about a toy, send it to us, or ask with a photo first.

    • Read the care label first
    • Big or fragile toys: send them
    • Damp centres smell

How do I get sand out of a soft toy after the beach?

Let it dry fully, then tap and brush the sand out outdoors. Wet sand packs into fur and seams, so wait until the toy is dry and give it a firm pat over a towel outside. Mention the beach day in your booking so we look for what's settled deeper in. Don't seal a sandy, damp toy in a bag in a hot car.

    • Dry before brushing
    • Pat it out outdoors
    • No damp toys in hot cars

Can a soft toy that went in the pool or sea be cleaned?

Yes, rinse it in plain tap water first, then let it dry. Chlorine and salt left in plush make the fur go stiff and can fade colour. A rinse at home and a full dry in the air-conditioned flat stop mildew while you book. We then deep clean it gently and fluff it back by hand.

    • Rinse in tap water
    • Air-dry it, then bag it
    • We fluff it back

How often should teddies be cleaned in an air-conditioned home?

Every few months for bedtime toys, more if anyone has allergies. Mediclinic names house dust mites as the most common airborne allergen in the UAE, and a toy that shares a pillow collects them fast. Shelf toys need far less. If a child has a diagnosed allergy, follow their doctor's advice on soft toys.

    • Bed toys most often
    • Shelf toys less
    • Allergies: ask the doctor

How long will my child be without their toy?

It depends on the toy, so we give you a time when you book. A small lovey dries far quicker than a metre-tall plush animal, and nothing goes home damp in the middle. Tell us what you're sending and we'll say when to expect it, and live updates show you when it's on its way.

    • We give a time per toy
    • Big plush takes longest
    • Tracked on its way back

Can you clean a giant teddy from the mall?

Yes, oversized plush is exactly what a home machine can't manage. Arcade prizes and metre-tall bears hold a lot of dust and need a long, gentle dry so the thick filling is dry right through. Send a photo with something beside it for scale when you book, so we can plan for its size.

    • Too big for home drums
    • Long, gentle dry
    • Photo for scale

Can the toys be left with my building's security desk?

Yes, if your building has a security desk that accepts parcels. Tell us in the booking who will hold the bag, and the clean toys come back the same way. In a gated villa community, mention whether the gate needs a visitor pass for our driver, so the pickup isn't held up at the entrance.

    • Security desk if you have one
    • Same route back
    • Mention gate passes

When is a good time of year to send toys in?

School breaks and the end of summer both work well. For most Dubai private schools the winter break runs from 14 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, a quieter spell when a toy can be away a night or two. Late spring, before the long summer holiday from 2 July 2027, is another sensible point.

    • Once the heat breaks
    • Before the summer holiday

    Toy cleaning, the Dubai way

Summer here runs from about the last week of April to early October, and in July and August the average daytime high sits around 43°C. If the heat keeps your children's play indoors for those months, the bear goes from the sofa to the playroom to the bed and back, all in rooms with the AC on and the windows shut. Mediclinic's Dubai doctors name house dust mites as the most common airborne allergen in the UAE, and note that they multiply in humid air. Coastal humidity in summer averages over 90%, so a toy that never leaves the bedroom is worth a proper clean once the heat breaks.

Then there's sand. Kite Beach in Jumeirah, with the Burj Al Arab on the skyline, has wide stretches of sand for castle building, and the favourite rabbit tends to come along. Sand works into the seams and sinks into the stuffing, where shaking won't reach it. Let the toy dry, pat out what you can over a towel outdoors, and tell us about the beach day when you book.

Water is the third thing. Splash pads at Kite Beach, Wild Wadi next to the Burj Al Arab, Aquaventure at Atlantis The Palm, the pool in your own building: a plush toy dropped in chlorine or seawater goes stiff and can lose colour. Rinse it in plain tap water at home and let it dry before it goes in a bag, never zipped up wet in a hot car.

Handing toys over is the same as any of our pickups. In a tower, the bag can wait at the security desk if your building has one; in a gated villa community like Arabian Ranches, tell us at booking whether the gate needs a visitor pass for our driver.

Good moments to send the toys come with the school calendar: for most of Dubai's private schools the winter break runs from 14 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, and the long summer holiday starts on 2 July 2027. The cooler months, when January highs drop to around 22°C, also bring the shamal, which lifts desert sand into the air for days; a bedroom full of plush catches its share.

    • Summer indoorsMonths of AC and shut windows mean bedtime toys rarely get an airing. Send them once the heat eases.
    • Sand in the seamsAfter a beach day, let the toy dry, then pat it out over a towel outside before you bag it.
    • Pool and seaRinse chlorine or salt out with plain tap water at home, then dry it before booking.

    Toys in a bag alone

The driver is coming for the teddies anyway, so other things from the house can ride along. Give each service a bag to itself.

Keep the teddies in their own clean bag, away from sandy footwear or office shirts. Everything else gets its own bag, one per service.

It all goes on one collection, and each bag comes back when its own work is done.
