Reading the zone list

Our drivers take duvets and towels from Deira apartments near the Creek, Discovery Gardens blocks, Palm Jumeirah villas and the villa streets of Mirdif. Collection and return are free in every one, with the same 48 to 72 hours for big pieces.

The 137 areas sit in 13 zones, each listed under the name you'd search for: Al Barsha 1, JVC, Dubai Hills Estate, The Springs. Find your zone, then your community.

Every Dubai area pays the same per-piece prices, and pickup is free from Al Mamzar by the Sharjah border to Expo City out towards Abu Dhabi. Beyond Dubai, all seven emirates are covered.

    How the bill adds up

Every piece has its own line on the price list. Nothing is charged by weight, and the driver's two trips cost nothing.

Count the pieces. A duvet inner is AED 56, a comforter AED 56, and the cover that goes over either is a separate line at AED 31.

Small things work the same way. A pillow costs AED 19, a sheet AED 25 and each towel AED 7; sofa covers are charged by size.

Collection and return add nothing anywhere in Dubai. Bulky items are priced one at a time, so there's no bag rate for bedding.

Why send your bedding to LPlaundry

Keeping your bedding in good shape

A good duvet lasts for years with gentle washing and proper drying. With Dubai's summer humidity above 90 percent, the drying is the part we never cut short.

    • Filling stays spread

Quilts turn freely in the drum, so the fibre doesn't clump at one end.

    • Dry to the core

Nothing is folded while it's damp inside, so no cupboard smell later.

    • Eyes on every seam

Splits, loose trims and marks get spotted before the wash, not after.

    • Gentle detergent

Hypoallergenic and biodegradable, fine for cot sheets and sensitive skin.

    Packing a bed to send

Anything too big for your own machine, plus the house linen we price item by item. Everyday clothes and delicate pieces have their own services.

Use one big bag for the bulk: quilts, pillows and protectors. Sheets, cases and towels go in a second, so nothing heavy flattens them and a damp beach towel never leans against a dry duvet.

Leave out anything electric, foam or filled with beads. A full wash and tumble would ruin them.

Clothes travel separately. The week's T-shirts go to wash and fold, and abayas or suits to clean and press, and the same driver can take every bag.

    Questions about duvets in Dubai

What is bed and bath laundry in Dubai?

It's cleaning for the bulky linen your home machine can't manage. LPlaundry collects duvets, comforters, pillows, towels and sofa covers from your door anywhere in Dubai. Each piece is checked by hand, washed with hypoallergenic eco detergent and dried right through, then brought back within 48 to 72 hours.

    • Quilts, pillows, towels, covers
    • Charged item by item
    • 48 to 72 hours for big items

How often should you wash a duvet in Dubai?

Every three to six months for the inner, and the cover far more often. That's the usual guide, and through a humid summer, with sweat working into the filling each night, the shorter end makes sense. Covers and pillowcases catch most of the grime, so change those every week or two.

    • Inner: every 3 to 6 months
    • Cover: every week or two
    • Sooner after illness

Why do towels smell musty in Dubai?

Damp sits in the loops for too long in humid air. Summer humidity here goes above 90 percent, so a towel folded before it's fully dry, or left in the machine after the cycle, picks up that sour smell. Sunscreen and body oil add a film that holds it in. A thorough wash and a full tumble clear it.

    • Humidity slows drying
    • Sunscreen film traps smell
    • Washed out, dried fully

Can sunscreen stains come out of beach towels?

Often, if they're washed before the oil sets. Sunscreen leaves a greasy film that can turn yellow or orange on white cotton, especially after a hot day in the car. Keep a marked towel out of a hot dryer at home, since heat fixes oil. Tell us about the marks when you book and we'll look first.

    • Wash before heat
    • Mention marks when booking
    • Old marks may stay

Can I wash a king-size comforter at home?

Only if your machine is big enough for it to move freely. A king comforter needs room to tumble so water and soap reach the middle, and a compact apartment washer-dryer rarely gives it that. Drying is harder still: the stitched pockets hold water, and indoors in summer humidity that can take days.

    • Needs room to tumble
    • Drying is the slow part
    • Ours: 48 to 72 hours

How long does duvet cleaning take in Dubai?

Duvets and other big pieces come back within 48 to 72 hours. The wash is quick; the drying isn't. A thick filling stays damp at its centre long after the outside feels done, and we don't fold a quilt until the middle is dry, so it won't smell of the cupboard a week later.

    • Big pieces: 48 to 72 hours
    • Drying takes most of it
    • Folded only when dry

How much does it cost to clean a duvet in Dubai?

Each piece has its own price, shown in the prices section of this page. A duvet and a comforter cost the same, covers and pillows are separate lines, and towels are charged one by one. There's no bag rate for bedding, and collection and return are free, so the list price is what you pay.

    • Per-piece pricing
    • Duvet and comforter alike
    • No delivery charge

Can you get guest bedding ready before visitors arrive?

Yes, book at least three days before they land. A spare-room quilt that has spent the summer in a cupboard can come out smelling stale, so send it with the guest towels in good time for the 48 to 72 hours. January nights drop to about 16°C, when a fresh duvet on the spare bed is welcome.

    • Allow 48 to 72 hours
    • Add the guest towels
    • January lows near 16°C

Do I need to be in when the driver comes?

Not always: bags can wait at the security desk if your building has one. Write your tower, flat number and phone number on each bag, and say in your booking message where it's waiting. In a gated villa community, mention if our driver needs a visitor pass. Otherwise we collect from your door.

    • Security desk, where there is one
    • Label every bag
    • Gate pass in the chat

Can sofa covers go in the same pickup as bedding?

Yes, loose sofa and cushion covers travel with the bedding. They're charged by size, so a regular sofa cover costs less than a large one, and small cushion covers less than medium. Take out the foam pads, close each zip, and mark on masking tape which seat every cover belongs to.

    • Sofa covers by size
    • Cushion covers by size
    • Foam pads stay home

Bed and bath, the Dubai way

Towels and bedding work harder here than in a cooler city. The sea off the beach at JBR is close to 33°C in August, so a swim stays on the cards right through summer, and every trip to the beach or the pool sends home a towel full of salt, chlorine, sand and sunscreen. Sunscreen does the real damage. It leaves an oily film in the cotton that greys white towels, holds on to smell and, on a towel forgotten in a hot car, can set into yellow marks.

Then there's the humidity, which tops 90 percent in high summer and is the enemy of anything thick. A duvet or bath sheet folded with the faintest damp in its centre doesn't dry out in a cupboard; it goes musty. If you sleep under a quilt all year with the AC running, sweat still works into the filling night after night. That's why drying is the main job on this service, and no big piece is folded until its middle is dry.

Sand gets into bedding too. The north-westerly shamal of summer pushes fine dust through window seals and AC vents, and it settles on bedcovers and the tops of pillows. In a villa on a Palm Jumeirah frond, or a townhouse in Arabian Ranches, it comes in on bare feet as well. Shake each piece outside before it's bagged, and turn fitted corners right side out, because that's where the grains collect.

The cooler months bring a different job. From December to February, nights fall to around 16 to 18°C, and Dubai welcomed 19.59 million international visitors in 2025. If some of yours are relatives on the spare bed, the quilts and pillows that spent the summer folded away deserve a wash first. Book them with a stack of guest towels at least three days before anyone lands.

Handing it over is simple. In a tower, the bags can wait at the security desk if your building has one; in a gated community, mention the gate when you book in case our driver needs a visitor pass. Otherwise we collect from your door, in Deira or out at Dubai South alike.

    • Dry right throughSummer air is so damp that big pieces stay in the dryer until the middle is done.
    • After the beachPool and beach towels get a proper wash and a long rinse to lift the oily sunscreen film.

The driver collecting your quilts can take the rest of the house's washing too. Give each service a bag of its own and it all leaves on one Dubai pickup.

Bag each service separately: quilts in one, the clean & press in another, footwear in a third. That way a silk abaya never meets a sandy towel.
