Clean and press suits clothes that can take water. Some cannot.

• Dry clean only labels, silk, wool suits, velvet or heavy beading: these go to our dry cleaning service instead, which works as guest dry cleaning for travellers.
• Leather and suede garments need a specialist process, so ask first.
• Old stains that have been through a hot dryer may not lift completely. We always try, but we cannot promise.

If you are unsure, show the driver at pickup and they will tell you which service the piece belongs in. Items that were already damaged when they reach us are cleaned at your own risk.

• Hang them straight away in the wardrobe with a little space between each piece.
• Keep shirts on their hangers so the collar holds its shape on the way to the meeting.
• Check the order against your list before the driver leaves, and tell them if anything is missing.

Say what the mark is and roughly how old it is. A fresh mark lifts far more easily than one that has been through a hot dryer.

• Coffee and tea on a cuff respond well if they are caught early.
• Sunscreen leaves a yellow patch on white collars, so mention it.
• Sweat at the collar and underarm needs a longer treatment, so tell us if the shirt was worn all day.
