Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Studio One Hotel

When you are travelling you do not want to count socks. A bag price means you pack what fits and pay once. Six kilos is roughly a week of T-shirts, shorts, underwear and pyjamas for one person.

If you are two people sharing a room, or you are staying a few weeks in one of the extended-stay studios, the larger bag usually works out better. Tell us what you have on WhatsApp and we will suggest the right size.

Most things you wear every day: T-shirts, polos, shorts, jeans, socks, underwear, pyjamas, gym kit and swimwear. Keep dark and light clothes together if you like, because we sort them by colour at the laundry.

Leave out suits, silk and anything that needs dry cleaning. Those go to Clean & Press, where each piece is cleaned on its own.

Your bag goes into its own machine, with no other guest's clothes. We use a mild detergent that is biodegradable and hypoallergenic, and a gentle cycle for fabrics that need it.

Clothes are dried on low heat. This keeps cotton from shrinking and keeps gym wear soft.

Every piece is sorted by colour before it is washed, so a red shirt does not touch a white one. We also read the care labels as we go.

If a label says do not tumble dry, we dry that piece flat or hang it. If an item has no label at all, we clean it at your own risk and say so first.

Book on WhatsApp and say you are at Studio One Hotel. The driver meets you at the lobby or concierge, if the hotel permits, and goes through the bag with you.

A secure payment link then arrives by text. You pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Cash is never taken in the lobby.

Standard turnaround is 24 hours, so a bag handed over in the morning is often back the next day. If you are in a hurry, ask about express, our same-day laundry service for covered addresses.

Express is 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered. There is no fee for it. Ask us on WhatsApp first so we can confirm.

If you are staying a month or more, a monthly plan can cost less per bag. Essential is AED 250 a month and Family is AED 450 a month, against AED 65 for a single bag.

The driver counts and checks the items with you at pickup, so the bag is on record before it leaves the hotel. Report any problem on WhatsApp the day it comes back.

Cover for loss or damage reaches 10 times the cleaning price of the item. Pieces that were already damaged, or carry no care label, are cleaned at your own risk.

A shirt that has been in a suitcase needs more than a hot shower. We clean it, press it and put it on a hanger, ready for a meeting, a conference or a dinner.

Hand over your shirts the evening before an early start, or book express before 2 PM for the same afternoon. Express is 5 hours if your address is covered, with no extra fee.

Suit jackets and trousers are cleaned and pressed to keep their shape. A two-piece suit has one price, and a jacket on its own is priced separately.

If your event is the same day, tell us on WhatsApp when it starts. We will say whether express will fit.

Kanduras, ghutras, jalabiyas and kurtas are cleaned and steamed on their own. A kandura is AED 15, and an abaya has a basic and a delicate row in the list.

If your abaya has beading or fine detail, say so when you book. It may count as a delicate piece and take longer. We tell you the time at pickup.

Clothes that are only creased, not dirty, can go to pressing only. Shoes, handbags and soft toys have their own services.

Everyday T-shirts and shorts are cheaper in a wash and fold bag. We will point you to the best option for each piece.

Evening dresses, silk blouses and anything with sequins or lace are cleaned on their own. We check the label and the trim first, and tell you if a piece needs the delicate process.

Book at least a day before a wedding or gala if you can. It gives us time to treat any marks properly.

Point out any stain when you hand the piece over, and tell us what caused it. Coffee, oil and wine each need different handling.

We work on it by hand before cleaning. If a mark will not come out fully, we say so.

Clean pieces are returned on hangers, and covered so they stay fresh. You can hang them straight into the wardrobe.

The driver brings them to the lobby or concierge at Studio One Hotel, if the hotel allows it.

Once the driver has gone through your items with you, a secure link is texted to you. Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work. Nothing is paid in cash, and nobody asks for a card in the lobby.

When the link is paid, your clothes go out for delivery. Cover for loss or damage reaches 10 times the cleaning price of that piece.

Items already damaged, or with no care label, are cleaned at your own risk. We say so before we start, so you can decide.
