Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Al Khoory Executive Hotel

A 6kg bag holds more than most guests expect. For a short business trip it can carry a week of T-shirts, underwear, socks, a pair of jeans, some gym kit and your pyjamas. Fill it as full as you like, as long as it stays under 6kg.

• Everyday clothes: T-shirts, polo shirts, trousers, jeans, shorts and socks.
• Sports kit: gym tops and leggings from the fitness room.
• Home wear: pyjamas, a dressing gown you brought with you, light jumpers.

Suits, silk and anything marked dry clean only should not go in the bag. Send those on Clean & Press, so each piece gets the right process. If you are not sure about a piece, add a note on WhatsApp before the driver arrives.

Most bags return within 24 hours of pickup. The clock starts when our driver collects the bag, not when you send the message. That makes it a next-day laundry service for most guests.

• Morning pickup: the bag is usually back the following morning.
• Afternoon pickup: expect it the next afternoon or evening.
• Urgent items: ask for express and a few pieces can return in 5 hours, if you order before 2 PM and we cover your address.

Tell us your check-out or flight time when you message us. We will say honestly whether the bag can be back in time, so you are not left waiting in the lobby.

Nothing goes straight into a drum. We read the care labels and look through the pockets first, because a forgotten receipt or lip balm can spoil a whole load.

• Whites are washed apart from dark clothes.
• Thin knits and stretchy sportswear get a cooler cycle.
• Jeans are washed with other heavy fabrics.

Your bag is washed by itself, so your clothes are never mixed with another customer's. We use a mild, hypoallergenic detergent that is biodegradable, then dry on low heat to protect the fabric. Everything is folded flat before it goes back into your bag.

The hotel has a fitness room, a sauna and a steam room, so many guests finish the day with damp gym kit. Do not leave it in a plastic bag in your room, because it starts to smell within hours.

Put sports tops, shorts, leggings and socks straight into the laundry bag. They are washed with the rest of your clothes and come back fresh and folded. The hotel has no pool, but if you spend a day at the beach, swimwear goes in the same bag.

Travel can be hard on the skin, and heavily perfumed laundry makes it worse. Our detergent is mild, hypoallergenic and biodegradable, and the scent is light.

• Good for guests with sensitive skin or eczema.
• Fine for baby and children's clothes.
• No strong chemical smell when you open the bag.

If you have an allergy to a particular product, tell us in your message before pickup. We cannot change the detergent for one bag, but we can tell you plainly what we use. Your clothes are folded flat when they come back, and they should smell clean, not heavily scented, so you can unpack straight into the wardrobe.

Pack your clothes in the bag we provide, or any bag you have. Message us your name, room number and pickup time, and ask reception whether our driver can collect from the lobby. This is doorstep laundry pickup, except that the door is the hotel lobby.

• The driver checks the items with you.
• We text you a secure payment link afterwards.
• Your clothes go out for cleaning once you have paid.

There is nothing to leave at the desk and no cash to hand over. If the hotel does not allow lobby handovers, we can meet you at the entrance on Al Wasl Road instead.

Some guests at Al Khoory Executive Hotel stay for weeks on a project or while they look for a flat. A plan can then cost less than ordering single bags over and over.

• Essential: AED 250 each month for regular bags.
• Family: AED 450 each month, with two bags every week.
• One bag: AED 65 when you only need one wash.

The plans are described in the section below. Ask us on WhatsApp if you are unsure which one suits your stay, and we will tell you plainly. It is an affordable laundry service for a long trip.

Our driver looks over your items with you at the handover. Straight afterwards a secure link arrives by text message, and you settle up there with a debit card, a credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Nobody asks for cash or a card in the lobby. We start the delivery only after payment goes through.

Should a piece go missing or come back damaged, we pay out up to ten times what that piece costs to clean. Anything that arrived with damage, or without a care label, is handled at the owner's risk, so mention such pieces early.

The price is for the whole job on that piece. For a shirt, a blouse, a pair of trousers or a kandura it covers:

• Checking the care label and looking over the piece for marks.
• Cleaning on the process the fabric allows.
• Pressing by hand or steam, then putting it on a hanger.
• Free pickup and free delivery to the hotel.

There is no extra charge for express, and nothing is added at the end. The price you see on this page is the price you pay, so you can work out the cost of a whole list before you send it.

A suit carried in a case needs more than a quick steam. Send the jacket and trousers together, and we clean and press them as a set, so the colours match when you wear them.

Hand them over the day before. If your meeting is in the morning, book before 2 PM and ask for express suit pressing, when your address is covered. We confirm the time with you before the driver comes, so you know whether it will work.

Add a tie or a shirt to the same order if you need them for the same meeting.

Traditional wear is cleaned with care for collars, cuffs and fine fabric. Each piece has its own price in the table above.

• Kandura: collar and cuffs are checked by hand, then cleaned and pressed.
• Abaya: a plain abaya and a delicate one are priced differently, so tell us which you have.
• Ghutra: cleaned and pressed flat.
• Jalabiya and kurta: cleaned on the process the label allows.

These are good pieces to send before a wedding, a family visit or a business dinner while you are staying at the hotel. Everything returns on a hanger.

Shirts come back on hangers, not folded, so the collar and sleeves stay flat. You can hang them in the wardrobe the moment they arrive.

That is better for the shirt you will wear tomorrow, because folding in a case brings the creases straight back. If you would rather have a shirt folded in the bag with your everyday washing, say so in your message and we will put it in the bag.

The care label is a row of small symbols. The washing tub tells us the most.

• A tub with one dot means a cool wash at 30 degrees.
• Two dots means 40 degrees.
• Three dots means 50 degrees.
• A hand in the tub means gentle, by hand or a delicate cycle.
• A plain circle means the piece can be dry cleaned.

You do not need to read the label yourself. We read it for every piece and pick the process that fits, so a suit and a cotton shirt each get what they need.

If a shirt has a mark, say what caused it. Coffee, sauce, sweat and ink are all treated differently. We treat the mark by hand before the clean, and we will tell you if it may stay.

The best time to tell us is in your WhatsApp message, before the driver arrives. You can also point it out at the handover, and the driver will note it on your items.

Pieces that came to us already damaged, or with the care label missing, are cleaned at the owner's risk. The driver checks each piece at collection and points out anything that worries us.

For everything else, a lost or damaged piece is covered up to ten times its cleaning price. Ask on WhatsApp if you want the exact figure for one piece.

When a piece is needed quickly, ask for express as you book. A few items can return in 5 hours if you order before 2 PM and we cover your address. There is no express fee.

• Keep the list short, such as one suit and two shirts.
• Pay by the secure link after the driver checks the items.
