Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Centara Mirage Beach Resort

Fill it with whatever the family wore this week. You do not need to separate colours, because we sort them for you.

• Swimwear and rash vests, rinsed in fresh water if you can.
• Kids' clothes, from small T-shirts to play shorts and leggings.
• Everyday wear such as jeans, tops and pyjamas.
• Gym kit from the fitness centre or a morning run.
• Socks and underwear, all together in the same bag.

Shake out sand first. If swimwear is still wet, put it in a separate carrier bag so the rest of the clothes stay dry until pickup.

We sort by colour and by fabric before anything goes into a machine. Light things are kept apart from dark things, so whites stay white.

Then each bag is washed in a machine of its own. We use a mild, hypoallergenic detergent, and the drum is sanitised first. Nothing from another customer goes in with your clothes.

Stretch fabrics, such as swimsuits and sports kit, are washed cool. This helps them keep their shape and colour for the rest of the holiday.

Everything is dried on low heat. That keeps cotton from shrinking, and it keeps the stretch in swimwear, leggings and kids' clothes.

Then we fold by hand. Tops are squared off, shorts are folded in half and socks are paired up, so the bag is easy to unpack.

Your clothes come back packed flat in a clean bag. They go straight into the wardrobe or the suitcase without a fight, and nothing smells of chlorine or sun cream.

Some things do not belong in the bag, and it is better to know before you pack.

• Suits, evening dresses, kanduras and abayas are cleaned and pressed one at a time.

We come to Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai. Send your room number, a time and the name on the booking. This doorstep laundry pickup is free.

Ask the lobby or concierge desk if the hotel allows the hand-over there. We cannot promise it, because the hotel sets its own rules, and we are not part of the hotel.

The driver checks your items with you, then texts you a payment link. Once it is paid, your clothes go out for delivery. Pickup and delivery cost nothing.

Most bags come back within 24 hours. That is our standard time for wash and fold, so it works as a next-day laundry service for a bag sent in the morning.

If you need it sooner, ask for express laundry delivery. Book before 2 PM and we aim for 5 hours, if your address is covered. This is our same-day laundry service.

Send your message early on the day before your flight, so you are not packing in a hurry. Check-out is at 12:00 noon, so plan around it.

If you stay a month or come back often, a plan can work out cheaper than single bags. Essential is AED 250 a month for one bag a week. Family is AED 450 a month for two bags a week. A single bag is AED 65.

Single bags suit most holiday guests. Plans suit long stays, or families who live nearby and wash every week. The minimum order is AED 50.

After the driver checks the items, we text you a secure payment link. You can pay with a debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We do not take cash or cards in the lobby. Once you have paid, your clothes go out for delivery.

If something is lost or damaged, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item. Items that were already damaged, or have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk. The driver looks at everything at pickup.

We reply with a pickup time and the price of each piece, so you know what to expect before the driver arrives.

A shirt creased by a flight can be back on a hanger the next day. Standard time is 24 hours. Express suit pressing is possible where your address is covered, and works best if you ask before 2 PM. Send the list in the morning and plan the meeting for the next day.

Evening dresses, suits and good shirts are cleaned and pressed by the piece. Tell us about sequins, beading or silk when you message us, and we handle those pieces with extra care.

We read the care label first. Delicate pieces can take longer, and we tell you the time at pickup, so send them early if the event is only a couple of days away. Everything is returned on a hanger and covered, so it is ready to wear when you open the door. Ask us for the price of each piece before you send.

Kanduras, abayas, ghutras and jalabiyas are cleaned and pressed with the same care as suits. The prices for each piece are in the table above. A white kandura that has been through a hot day looks much better after cleaning, and it comes back on a hanger.

Silk, crepe and lace need gentle treatment, and we do not rush them. We read the label, choose a cool process and steam each piece by hand, one piece at a time. Crepe is steamed so it hangs well when you put it on.

If a piece has no care label, we clean it at the owner's risk. Tell us if you are unsure about a fabric before we collect it, and we will say how we plan to treat it.

Pieces come back on hangers and covered. They travel from the van to your room or your case without new creases, ready to wear the same evening.
