A 6kg bag holds more than most people expect. For a guest staying three or four nights, it usually means a week's worth of T-shirts, shorts, underwear, socks, gym kit and a pair of jeans. We weigh the bag when the driver collects it, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Hotel towels and robes stay in your room, so they do not go in the bag. If the bag is heavier than 6kg, the driver tells you before taking it and you can switch to the 12kg bag.

One flat price does not mean everything goes into one drum. When your bag arrives at the laundry, we open it and sort by colour and fabric. White shirts and socks stay apart from dark jeans and bright gym tops, so colours do not run into each other.

Thin or stretchy pieces get a gentler wash. If you tell us something bleeds, shrinks or is delicate, we keep it separate. A short note in the WhatsApp message is enough.

Vida Emirates Hills has an infinity pool and a gym, so swimwear and sports kit are what guests most often bring us. Damp clothes left in a bag for a day start to smell. Try not to leave them wet in your room for long before you send them.

We wash gym kit and swimwear in a mild detergent and dry on low heat, which protects the stretch. Sports fabric keeps its fit and does not feel rough afterwards. Chlorine can fade colours over time, so a quick rinse before bagging helps.

All of it can go in the same flat-price bag.

High heat is what shrinks cotton and damages stretch. We dry everything on a low setting, even if it takes a little longer. Your T-shirts keep their size, and jeans keep their shape.

If you want a piece line-dried or kept out of the dryer altogether, mention it when you book or tell the driver. We will mark the bag. Once dry, each piece is checked and folded by hand before it goes back into the bag.

Everything comes back folded, so you can put it straight into a suitcase or a wardrobe. Folded clothes also travel better than a loose pile. Socks and underwear are grouped, and T-shirts are stacked in a neat pile.

The bag is sealed and delivered to the Vida Emirates Hills lobby, or to the concierge, if the hotel allows it. We message you when the driver is on the way back, so you know when to expect it.

Shirts and trousers for meetings are better in Clean & Press, on a hanger.

Staying longer, or travelling with a partner or children? The 12kg bag has its own flat price and holds roughly two bags of clothes. It is usually better value than sending two separate 6kg bags.

You choose the size when you book. If you are not sure, put what you have in the bag and the driver will tell you at the lobby. If you go over 6kg, you can switch to the larger bag before you pay.

If you are in Dubai for a long stay, a monthly plan can be cheaper than single bags. The Essential plan is AED 250 a month for one bag a week. The Family plan is AED 450 a month for two bags a week.

A single 6kg bag costs AED 65, so compare with how many bags you will send. Plans are collected on a set day each week, which suits a long stay or relocation.

Message us on WhatsApp with your name, Vida Emirates Hills and the time that works. We confirm the pickup, and the driver meets you at the lobby or concierge desk, if the hotel allows it. Please check with the front desk beforehand.

After the driver has checked your items, you get a secure payment link by text. You can pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Do not pay cash or hand over a card at the lobby. Once you have paid, your clothes go out for delivery.

A shirt that has been in a suitcase needs more than a quick shake. In Clean & Press, each shirt is washed in cool water, steamed by hand and returned on a hanger in a breathable bag. It is AED 18 each.

Trousers, chinos and jeans can have a front crease if you ask. Send them with the shirt, and you walk into the meeting looking sharp.

Book express before 2 PM if the meeting is today and your address is covered.

A two-piece suit is cleaned as a set so the colour stays matched. We steam it by hand and return it on a hanger. Guests staying for a wedding or a dinner often send a suit the day before the event.

A jacket can be sent alone, and so can a tie. If you tell us about a mark and what caused it, we treat that spot first.

A kandura is AED 15. We wash it in cool water, check the collar and cuffs, and steam it by hand so it hangs straight. A ghutra and a jalabiya are priced separately, and so is a kurta.

Abayas are cleaned according to their label. A plain abaya uses the basic service, and an abaya with heavy detail uses the delicate service. If it has no care label, we clean it at your own risk and tell you before we start.

Everything comes back on a hanger in a breathable bag, ready for Friday prayers, a wedding or a family dinner.

Evening dresses are cleaned by hand. A blouse, a skirt and a day dress are each priced as a single item. Pieces return on hangers, so nothing creases on the drive back to the hotel.

Tell us about any makeup, perfume or food marks and we treat them first.

Each piece is looked at when it arrives. We read the care label, find stains and note anything unusual. Then we choose the right wash or process for that fabric. A shirt does not get the same treatment as a silk blouse.

After cleaning, each piece is checked again for marks that have not come out. If a stain stays faint, we tell you, and we do not hide it. Finally, we look the piece over once more as it is steamed and hung.

Items already damaged or with no care label are cleaned at your own risk.

Most Clean & Press orders are back within 24 hours. Delicate pieces such as silk or heavily detailed dresses can take longer, because they need more time. How long depends on the piece, and we tell you when we confirm your order.

If you need a piece sooner, ask for express. It takes 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered.

Clean & Press pieces are returned on hangers, covered in a breathable bag. Plastic that traps air can leave a musty smell, so we avoid it. You can hang your suit straight in the wardrobe at the hotel.

If you are flying out the same day, tell us and we will plan the delivery before check-out at noon.

Most everyday marks come out. Coffee, sauce, sweat and makeup usually do. Old stains, ink, and marks that have been set by heat can stay faint, and we will tell you if so.

If a piece is lost or damaged while it is with us, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item. Items that were already damaged, or have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk. Please tell us about anything delicate or valuable when you book.
