Emirates Hills laundry by the bag, at one set price
Everyday clothes from your Emirates Hills villa go into our flat-rate laundry bags, so no one counts items. You pay AED 65 for anything up to 6kg, even if the bag is only half full. Pickup from your door or gate is free. We separate lights from darks, use a gentle cycle, keep the dryer heat low and fold everything by hand. It's a next-day laundry service too: your clothes normally come home within 24 hours, the same as for most Dubai addresses.

What happens to your Emirates Hills bag
Every bag from Emirates Hills goes through the same steps in the same order. A big bag isn't rushed, and a small one gets the same care.
- Pockets checked: we take out pencils, receipts and lip balm before washing. One lip balm in a dryer can leave greasy spots on a whole load.
- Sorted by colour: white polos and light chinos go in one pile, black leggings and navy shorts in another. Lace, mesh and thin stretchy pieces get a cooler, slower wash.
- Stains first: we treat sunscreen on collars, grass on knees and coffee on shirts before the wash. Dryer heat would set most of them.
- Gentle wash: hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent and a full rinse, so clothes come back clean without a strong smell.
- Low-heat drying: polos keep their size and waistbands keep their stretch.
- Folded by hand: each piece is folded, checked again and packed to go back to Emirates Hills.
Folded clothes suit a drawer. For a crisp shirt collar, or a kandura that should hang, use Clean & Press instead.
How to book a pickup in Emirates Hills
- Message us on WhatsApp. Send your location pin, your sector letter and villa number. Emirates Hills is gated with security all day and night, so tell us what the guards need from visitors and we'll pass it to the driver. There's no app to download.
- Pack the bag. Everyday clothes only. Check every pocket: a golf tee won't hurt, but a pen or tissues can ruin a whole load. Put your surname, sector and villa number on the tag.
- We collect. From your front door, the gate or the security desk, whichever you tell us. Pickup is free.
- We clean. Your clothes are sorted, washed with care, dried cool and hand-folded.
- We bring it back. You get a WhatsApp as soon as the van sets off for Emirates Hills. Delivery is free too.
Got shirts that should come back on hangers? Pack those apart for Clean & Press and mention them when you message. One visit collects both.
What to put in the bag
A simple test: if your washing machine at home can take it, so can we. Labels that say hand wash or do not wash mean the item stays at home. From an Emirates Hills home, the bag can take:
- Golf clothes: polos, golf trousers, quarter-zips and socks from a round at the Montgomerie, the 18-hole course in the middle of Emirates Hills. Take out the golf glove, as leather can't go in.
- Summer clothes: linen shirts, cotton dresses and shorts. Dubai's average highs go above 43°C in July and August, so these get worn a lot.
- Swimwear: swimsuits, trunks and children's rash vests. Give them a rinse and make sure they're dry before they go in.
- Sports kit: tennis whites, padel shorts, running tops and sports socks.
- School clothes: uniform for Dubai British School, Dubai International Academy, Emirates International School or any other school, plus pyjamas and weekend clothes. Close the zips first.
- Light layers: a fleece or thin cotton jumper for cooler evenings outside.
Items that need a different service
The bag is for everyday clothes. We do clean all of the things below. They're charged under a different service, and one driver can pick them up from your Emirates Hills villa at the same time.
- Work shirts, suits, kanduras and abayas: priced per item under Clean & Press and returned on hangers.
- Silk, wool, beading and sequins: water can damage them, so send them for dry cleaning.
- Bath, beach and pool towels: priced one by one under Bed & Bath, not by weight.
- Hand-wash knitwear and underwired bras: leave these out. Not sure about one? A picture of its label on WhatsApp settles it.
- Golf shoes, rugs and curtains: see their own cards in the services list further up this page.
How we wash and dry an Emirates Hills load
A lot of the good work happens while sorting, before anything gets wet. This is what we do with every Emirates Hills load.
- Colours: a new red polo or dark denim can bleed for a few washes, so new colours never go in with whites.
- Weight: zips and heavy fabric can rub and pill thin tops, so heavy and light clothes are washed apart.
- Your own machine: each machine washes one household's clothes only. Yours never mix with anyone else's.
- Cleaned after use: the drum is sanitised as soon as your wash finishes, before the next household's.
- Detergent: commercial-grade, but still hypoallergenic and biodegradable. We rinse it all out, because leftover soap in a polo can irritate skin on a humid Dubai day.
- Low-heat drying: cotton shrinks and elastic goes slack in a hot dryer, so we keep the heat down. Before folding, we feel the seams, cuffs and waistbands for any damp.
- Last check: if a button is loose or a stain hasn't come out, the folder spots it and messages you on WhatsApp.
Where we collect in and near Emirates Hills
Our vans cover homes across Dubai. Here, that means every sector of Emirates Hills and the communities around it, with free pickup and delivery.
- Emirates Hills sectors: we collect at your villa door or gate. Send your sector letter (E, H, W, R, P or another) with a location pin, and the driver comes straight to you.
- Security: the community is gated and guarded 24/7. If the gate keeps a visitor list, let them know we're coming.
- Emirates Living: The Meadows, The Springs and The Lakes are part of the same Emirates Living development as Emirates Hills. See laundry in The Meadows, The Springs and The Lakes.
- Jumeirah Islands: a short drive away and also free: laundry in Jumeirah Islands.
Not sure we reach your street? Send a pin, or check the areas page.
Single bags or a monthly plan in Emirates Hills
Big Emirates Hills households send washing every week, and for them our budget-friendly wash and fold option is a monthly plan. The driver comes on the same weekday each week without you rebooking, and plan bags work out cheaper than one-off bags.
- Essential: AED 250 for four bags a month, one collected each week. Good for one or two people.
- Family: AED 450 for eight bags a month, two collected each week. Enough for school uniform, sports kit and swimwear from a five-bedroom villa.
- Pay as you go: AED 65 a bag, only in the weeks you need it.
Choose your weekday and we'll collect the plan bags from your Emirates Hills villa on that day every week. You can set it up in the WhatsApp chat whenever you like.
Return times, express and stains in Emirates Hills
A bag collected in Emirates Hills is usually back at your villa within 24 hours, like most of Dubai.
Need a same-day laundry service? Ask for express laundry delivery by 2 PM. If your Emirates Hills address is covered, the bag comes back 5 hours after pickup. Ask us in the chat to confirm your sector is covered before you rely on it.
- Tell us the stain: sunscreen on a collar, red wine on a linen shirt, grass on golf trousers. Say what it is and where.
- Tell us what you tried: bleach, a stain spray or hot water can set a mark or limit what we can do.
- Dry things first: a wet swimsuit or sweaty polo shut in a bag in July smells sour by morning. Let it dry indoors, and shake off any sand from the terrace.
Emirates Hills clothes on hangers, priced by the piece
In Emirates Hills, our clean and press laundry service is for clothes that should come home hanging: work shirts, kanduras, abayas, blazers and linen dresses. We follow the care label on every piece, take out the creases with a hand steamer, then hang it. Shirts are AED 18 each. Kanduras are AED 15 each. We collect free from any sector, and your order normally returns within 24 hours, like most of Dubai.

- Priced per item
- Each piece steamed on its own
- Breathable covers, not plastic

What's included in the price
The price on the list is all a shirt from your Emirates Hills villa costs. There's no extra charge for stain work, the hanger or the cover.
- Checked first: we go through the pockets, read the care label and make a note of loose buttons.
- Stains treated by hand: warm water can set a mark, so we work on stains before washing.
- Washed as the label says: cotton and mixed fabrics go in cool water so they don't shrink; anything labelled for specialist cleaning gets it.
- Dried on a hanger: hung up in filtered air rather than tumbled, so sleeves keep their length.
- Steamed in order: collar and cuffs first, then the button front, then the rest.
- Checked three times before it goes in a cover and back to your villa.
How to send shirts and suits from your villa
- Send us a list. A WhatsApp like "one suit, a kandura, five work shirts" is enough. Include your villa number, sector letter and any crease you prefer.
- Use two bags. Keep the hanging clothes apart from the folded washing so each goes to the right service.
- Free pickup. We collect from your front door or the gate, as you prefer. Emirates Hills has security at the entrance, so give us any visitor details they need.
- One piece at a time. We finish one garment completely before picking up another.
- Back on hangers. Usually the next day, as in most of Dubai, in a cover and ready for the wardrobe.
What Emirates Hills homes send on hangers
A simple rule: if it creases on the drive to work, it's a clean and press job. In Emirates Hills that usually means:
- Work shirts: oxford, twill and poplin. We always start with the collar.
- Skirts and blouses: crepe, viscose and light cotton, which crease as soon as you sit down.
- Suits and chinos: cotton and wool blends. Jackets go on a shoulder-shaped steam form so the lapels sit right.
- Kanduras and thobes: white cotton or poly-cotton. We steam the front until it hangs straight from neck to ankle.
- Ghutras: smoothed flat on a table. We leave the folding to you.
- Abayas and jalabiyas: we only steam georgette and crepe, which keeps black fabric matt. Need a shayla done too? Ask us on WhatsApp for the price.
- Kurta sets: the top and trousers go on one ticket and come back together.
- School uniform: Dubai British School and Dubai International Academy are both near Emirates Hills. Send shirts in the week of photo day for neat collars.
When another service suits better
- Washed at home but creased? Pressing removes the creases without washing again.
- Silk, lace, sequins, beading or heavy wool? Book dry cleaning; it's gentler on them than water.
- Socks, pyjamas, T-shirts, swim shorts? Drawer clothes like these go by the bag through Wash & Fold.
Not sure where something belongs? Snap the little label sewn inside and WhatsApp it to us. We'll reply well before a driver gets to Emirates Hills.
The dots on the care label
Inside the heat symbol on a care label there are dots, and we count them. Our steamers never go hotter than the dots allow. Three dots, around 200°C, is for cotton and linen. Two dots limits it to roughly 150°C, which covers wool, silk and polyester mixes. One dot is about 110°C, used on acrylic and similar man-made fabrics. A crossed-out symbol means steam and nothing else.
- No hot plate on dark crepe: a hot plate leaves a shine, so black abayas and dark suit trousers only see the steamer.
- Extra time on collars and cuffs: they're what people see first, so we don't rush them.
- Your crease, noted: sharp, soft or no crease at all, or shirts folded for packing if you have a flight. Tell us once and it goes on the ticket.
- Breathable covers: summer humidity in Dubai is often above 90%, in Emirates Hills too. Plastic would trap that damp with the shirt. Ours stop dust but let damp escape.
Pickup from every Emirates Hills sector
We collect hanging clothes from anywhere in Emirates Hills for free, just like folded washing. The villas are in lettered sectors around the lakes and the golf course, so a clear address saves the driver a long way round.
- Send three things: your sector letter (E, H, W or another), villa number and a location pin. Sort out any gate pass before the slot.
- Name a landmark: Vida Emirates Hills, the Montgomerie or one of the schools helps the driver.
- Nearby: we also collect free in Jumeirah Islands and The Lakes.
Return times from Emirates Hills, express included
A clean and press order from Emirates Hills is usually back the day after pickup, in line with the 24 hours we give most of Dubai. Silky or fine pieces can take longer. It depends on the piece, and we tell you the time at pickup.
Need a shirt for dinner tonight? Express orders placed by 2 PM come back hanging 5 hours after we collect, as long as your villa is inside the express zone. Not every address is in that zone, so message your sector and villa number and let us confirm first.
Common stains in Emirates Hills, and what to tell us
- Grass and bunker sand: on golf trousers after a round at the Montgomerie. Let it dry, brush off the loose sand and show us where the mark is.
- Yellow collars: summer in Dubai is often over 38°C, and sweat soaks into white collars and kandura necklines. The sooner you send them, the better they come out.
- Deodorant marks: white on dark fabric, yellow on light. Tell us which, as each needs a different treatment.
- Oud and perfume oils: these leave rings on light cotton. Point them out and tell us which oil it was.
- Anything else: a loose button, no crease, a fold for a suitcase. Just add a line in the chat.
Emirates Hills bedding and towels, priced item by item
A king duvet can fill a home washing machine on its own, and an Emirates Hills villa has several beds. We take duvets of any size, sheets, comforters, pillows, mattress protectors, robes and pool towels. Nothing is weighed; you pay per piece: AED 25 a sheet, AED 7 a towel and AED 56 a duvet. Pickup is free. Bulky item washing, which means duvets, comforters and blankets, takes 48 to 72 hours. Your return day is fixed when you book.

- Priced per item, not by weight
- Big drums with room for a king duvet
- Thick bedding back in 2 to 3 days
- Hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent

What you get for each item's price
Each item's price covers everything: pickup from your Emirates Hills villa, cleaning and delivery back. Our bed linen wash and fold takes care of sheets and pillowcases. Each one is washed, dried right into the seams and folded flat, and priced on its own. Small items aren't rushed; a pillowcase just dries faster than a king duvet.
- Checked by a person: corners, stitching and any mark you told us about.
- Your own sanitised machine: no one else's washing goes in with yours. A king duvet gets space to move, because if it's packed in tight, the water soaks the outside and misses the filling.
- Detergent: biodegradable and hypoallergenic, which matters most for the pillowcase you sleep on.
- Checked in the middle: we push a hand into the middle of each duvet and keep drying until it matches the edges. The outside can feel dry for hours while the inside is still wet, so we go by touch, not the clock.
- No damp patches: we only pack it when it's dry all over, then bring it back to Emirates Hills.
A duvet cover is AED 31 extra. It comes off the duvet and goes in its own wash.
How to book a bedding pickup
- Tell us what you have. For example "two king duvets, the guest room sheets and all the pool towels", plus your sector letter, villa number and a location pin.
- We confirm two things: when we'll collect and when it comes back.
- Pack it. One duvet per bag, rolled tightly. Towels and sheets can share a bag.
- Free pickup. From your front door or villa gate. Emirates Hills has security 24 hours a day, so send visitor details early.
- Updates on WhatsApp. We keep you posted in the same chat until it's back with you.
We answer the chat day and night. Guests arriving tomorrow and the spare beds not made? A late booking is fine.
Duvets, comforters, blankets and bedcovers
Any duvet or comforter, from single to king, is AED 56. What we check depends on the item.
- Duvet: a plain casing with loose filling, used inside a cover. We unbutton the cover first and charge it as a separate item.
- Comforter: stitched in squares or lines, often patterned, and used without a cover. Stitched pockets don't dry at the same speed, so we check every row by hand.
- Blanket: standard size is AED 26, and larger blankets are priced higher.
- Bedcover: AED 29. It sits on top and collects dust, and in summer the shamal wind blows desert sand into villas in Emirates Hills too. Let us know if yours has tassels, fringes or beads.
Seams split and filling showing? WhatsApp us a picture before you book, and we'll talk it through with you.
Sheets, pillows and mattress protectors
In the hot months, sheets and pillowcases in Emirates Hills homes are changed and washed often, while the duvets get a rest. That's why the linen wears thin first.
- Sheets: AED 25, flat or fitted. Pack fitted sheets inside out, because hair ties and socks hide in the elastic corners.
- Pillowcases: AED 9. Sun cream and after-sun leave oily marks on cotton. Show us where they are, but don't scrub them.
- Pillows: AED 19 each. Try this: bend it in half, then let it go. If it stays folded, the filling has gone flat and washing won't fix it. Memory foam can't be washed.
- Mattress protectors: AED 35. A waterproof backing can crack in high heat, so WhatsApp us the label before you book.
Changing every bed on the same day? List the sets for each room in the chat, so you can check them off when they come back.
Our towel laundry service, from the pool to the golf bag
Towels go stiff when soap is left in the loops. We rinse them twice and dry each one right through. Towels are AED 7 each, and bathrobes AED 19.
- Pool towels: if your Emirates Hills villa has a pool, send the towels on the day you use them. A night in a closed bag while wet makes them smell sour.
- Golf towels: the small towel on your golf bag picks up grass and sand at the Montgomerie. Give it a shake outside first.
- Robes: the thick collar dries last, so it's the final thing we feel before folding. Put the belt through one sleeve so it doesn't get lost.
- Sofa covers: a standard zip-off cover is AED 46. Number each cushion before you take the covers off.
- Tablecloths: AED 19. After a meal outside, let the spill dry and tell us what it was: red wine, oil or sauce.
Pack wet towels apart from duvets. In Dubai's humid summer, damp gets into the filling quickly.
What we can't wash
A few things can't go in a washing machine at all. Please leave these at your Emirates Hills villa:
- Electric blankets, or anything with a cable or heating wire.
- Memory foam, whether it's a topper or a pillow.
- Weighted blankets, the kind filled with small glass or plastic beads.
- Any item with a crossed-out washtub on its label. Not sure? WhatsApp a picture of the label and you'll have our answer long before a driver is due in Emirates Hills.
Clothes are booked separately. Everyday clothes like jeans and sports kit are priced by the bag under Wash & Fold. Shirts and abayas you want hanging go under Clean & Press. Use one bag per service and we'll collect it all in one visit. For care tips on each type of bedding, see our home linen guide.
Why bedding from Emirates Hills takes 2 to 3 days
In duvet and comforter laundering, drying is what takes the time. Feather, down and polyester can hold water at the centre for hours, even when the outer fabric feels dry. A duvet put away damp will smell musty, even in an air-conditioned cupboard.
- 48 to 72 hours: that's how long thick bedding is with us, from pickup at your villa. A duvet can feel dry outside but still be cool and heavy in the middle, and we wait until the middle is dry too.
- A firm return day: we confirm it in your booking chat.
Let your villa to holiday guests? Linen changes between stays are on our Airbnb laundry page. This tab is about your own family's beds.
Emirates Hills and nearby Emirates Living
We cover every sector of Emirates Hills, with free pickup and delivery.
- At your villa: we collect from the front door or the gate. Security is on 24 hours a day, so arrange visitor access before the driver arrives. Near Vida Emirates Hills, Dubai British School or the Montgomerie? Tell us, as it helps the driver find you.
- Next door: The Springs and The Meadows are also part of Emirates Living, and each has its own page.
- Not sure we cover you? Send a pin and we'll check.
The price doesn't change with the address. A king duvet is one price, from a JVC flat or an Emirates Hills villa.

Emirates Hills laundry, explained
What does our laundry service in Emirates Hills include?
Our driver collects from your villa and brings it all back free. One WhatsApp books it: just add your villa number, sector letter and the hour you'd like. Towels, gym wear and casual clothes go in a bag and come back washed and folded. Shirts, kanduras, abayas and dresses are steamed by hand and come home on hangers.
- Folded washing costs a set amount per bag; hung clothes are charged one by one
- Nobody else's load shares your drum, and it's sanitised after use
- Clothes that only need the creases taken out go to the Pressing page
How close is a laundry to an Emirates Hills villa?
As close as your front gate, because our van comes to you. Property Finder's guide to Emirates Hills says there's no corner shop in the community, so everything is a drive. A search for laundry service near me mostly lists shops you'd drive a heavy bag to. We pick it up at your villa and return it free.
- Plots here are large, so a location pin helps more than a street name
- Pickup and delivery both cost nothing
- Book in a chat, with no account to set up
Can I get same-day laundry in Emirates Hills?
Yes, with express, if your sector is covered and you book before 2 PM. Your clean bag then comes back five hours after pickup. Book after 2 PM and it becomes our next-day laundry service, which has it back to you within 24 hours. Need a dinner shirt this evening? Message us early.
- Send us your sector letter and we'll check whether express covers it
- A winter duvet or a heavy throw takes 48 to 72 hours
- Fragile fabrics sometimes need extra time, and we'll say so after a look
What will a bag of washing from Emirates Hills cost me?
Each bag has a fixed price, and each hung item has a set price. A 6kg bag is one price, packed loosely or tightly, and the 12kg size suits a villa's sheets and pool towels. Orders start at AED 50, and smaller ones are still collected for a small fee. Both drives are free.
- Washing every week? The Essential plan (four bags a month) or Family plan (eight) makes it an affordable laundry service
- Under Clean & Press, a kandura, an abaya and a shirt are each priced separately
- You'll find every price in the cards higher up this page
How does your driver get through the gates of Emirates Hills?
We bring whatever name or pass your gate security asks for. The community is gated and security is there day and night, so a visiting van can be stopped and checked. Add the guard's requirements to your WhatsApp booking, along with your villa number and sector. The driver arrives with them ready and hands over the bag at your villa.
- Sector letter and villa number in your first message
- The driver gets the security details before setting off
- Bags are handed over at your villa, not at the barrier
How often should golf towels and polos from the Montgomerie be washed?
Wash towels after every round in the hot months, and polos the same day. The Montgomerie has 81 bunkers, so a towel picks up sand as well as sweat and grass. Zipped in a golf bag overnight, it turns sour. Send towels and polos in the wash bag, and mention any microfibre so we keep it away from cotton lint.
- Microfibre is washed without fabric softener
- Turn polos inside out first
- Tell us about sunscreen on a collar when you book
Should an evening gown go to Clean & Press or dry cleaning?
Beaded or silk gowns need dry cleaning; kanduras go to Clean & Press. Clean & Press is priced per item; we clean each piece as its label says and steam it by hand. A crossed-out wash tub on the label means dry cleaning, priced separately. Bag the two apart and one van collects both from your Emirates Hills villa.
- Abayas and work shirts: Clean & Press
- Wedding and gala outfits: usually dry cleaning
- Unsure? Photograph the care label and WhatsApp it
Can underwear and socks go in an Emirates Hills wash bag?
Yes, underwear goes in the bag with everything else. Bras, briefs, socks and baby vests are washed with your other clothes, in a detergent gentle enough for young skin. Put lace in a zipped mesh pouch first. It stops hooks catching on jumpers and odd socks going missing. If any shapewear can't take heat, tell us in the chat.
- Lace and hooks go in a mesh pouch
- Pair your socks before packing
- Note anything that can't take heat in the booking
Can you wash the bed linen from every room of a big Emirates Hills villa?
Yes, and the larger 12kg bag is the one to use. Villas in Sector R of Emirates Hills have five to seven bedrooms, so changing every bed could keep a home machine busy for days. Strip the beds, pack the sheets and pillowcases into the larger bag, and they come back folded, ready for the linen cupboard.
- Duvets and heavy throws need 48 to 72 hours
- Bathrobes and hand towels can share that bag
- Two bags on one pickup is fine
Is the detergent used on Emirates Hills laundry kind to sensitive skin?
Yes, it's hypoallergenic and it breaks down in water. It's a commercial-grade detergent with no heavy perfume, so it suits babies and anyone whose skin gets irritated easily. Your washing goes in its own machine, and we sanitise that drum before another home's washing goes in. Allergic to a certain ingredient? Mention it in your booking.
- Towels come back without a strong scent
- One machine per customer
- Drum sanitised between households
