Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in The Meadows
LPlaundry gives villas across The Meadows, from Meadows 1 to 9, free doorstep laundry pickup. A 6kg bag of everyday clothes costs AED 65, and we wash, dry and fold it. A work shirt is AED 18 and comes back on a hanger, and a kandura costs AED 15. Most of Dubai has its laundry home within 24 hours, and we agree your pickup time on WhatsApp.

What happens to your Meadows bag
Every bag from The Meadows goes through the same steps, whether it comes from a three-bedroom villa or a seven-bedroom one. A light bag gets the same care as a full one, and a full one costs no more.
- Sorting by hand: whites and light colours go in one pile, darks like black leggings, dark jeans and navy swim shorts in another. Lace, mesh and very stretchy pieces get a cool, gentle wash of their own.
- Stains treated first: barbecue grease, garden soil on a knee, deodorant marks under the arms. We treat them before the wash, because the heat of a dryer can set a stain for good.
- A gentle wash: hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent, rinsed out fully so clothes come back with almost no smell of soap.
- Drying on low heat: so fitted shirts keep their shape and waistbands keep their stretch.
- Folding by hand: we fold every piece separately, give it a last look and pack it for your villa.
Folded clothes are ready for drawers and shelves. For a crisp collar, or a kandura you'd like to hang, use Clean & Press instead.
How to book a pickup in The Meadows
- Send us a WhatsApp. Share a location pin and tell us which Meadows you're in (1 to 9), plus your street and villa number. Each sub-community has round-the-clock security, so if your gate needs notice of visitors, let them know before your slot. There's no app to download.
- Fill the bag. Everyday clothes only. Empty the pockets first: one tissue can leave white fluff over a whole dark load, and a pen is worse. Put your surname and villa number on the tag.
- Pickup. Hand the bag to our driver at your door. Pickup is free.
- Washing. Sorting, a gentle wash, low-heat drying and hand folding at our laundry.
- Delivery. We send a WhatsApp when it's on the way back to The Meadows. Delivery is free too.
Have work shirts that should hang? Bag them apart for Clean & Press. Tell us about both bags in the booking chat, and one driver picks up the two together.
What to put in the bag
A simple guide: if it can go in your washing machine at home, it can go in our bag. If the care label says "hand wash" or "do not wash", leave it out. A bag from a Meadows villa might hold:
- Summer clothes: cotton T-shirts, vests and light shorts for the months when Dubai is over 38°C and very humid.
- Garden clothes: many villas here have a large private garden, so old jeans and tops for gardening are welcome. Brush off dry soil first.
- Swimwear: swimsuits and rash vests from a private pool or a community pool (Meadows 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8 have one). Rinse out the chlorine and let them dry fully first.
- Sports clothes: running tops, cycling shorts, training tops and sports socks.
- Children's clothes: school uniform, whether for Emirates International School, Meadows or another school, plus play clothes and pyjamas. Close the poppers.
- Winter layers: a sweatshirt or light cardigan for cooler evenings in the garden.
Items that go under another service
The bag is for everyday clothes. We still take the items below, but under their own service, and they can go on the same pickup from your Meadows villa.
- Kanduras, abayas, suits and work shirts: Clean & Press charges per item and returns each one on a hanger.
- Silk, wool, sequins and beading: water can damage them, so they go to dry cleaning.
- Towels, including pool towels: these go under Bed & Bath and are priced per piece, not in this bag.
- Underwired bras and hand-wash knits: hold them back, or photograph the label and check with us first.
- Curtains, rugs and footwear: each has its own card in the services row further up this page.
How we wash, dry and check each load
Good laundry starts at the sorting table, before any water goes in. Here is what happens once we open a bag from The Meadows.
- Colour. New jeans lose a lot of dye in the first few washes, so we keep them well away from light cotton.
- Weight. Heavy hoodies and canvas shorts can rub thin T-shirts, so heavy and light items are washed apart.
- Your own machine. Your clothes are washed in a machine used only for your household's order, so nothing from another home gets mixed in.
- A clean drum. We sanitise the machine after every cycle.
- Detergent. Ours is commercial-grade but hypoallergenic and biodegradable. We rinse it out fully, because in a Dubai summer leftover soap in a damp shirt can make your skin itch.
- Drying. We only use low heat. Hot drying shrinks cotton and slackens elastic. We feel pockets, collars and waistbands for damp before folding.
- A final check. Whoever folds your clothes looks for loose buttons and marks that survived, and we'll message you about any.
Our pickup area in The Meadows
We collect from homes all over Dubai. Here that covers Meadows 1 to 9 and the communities around them. Neither trip is charged.
- Meadows 1 to 9: we collect from your villa door. If you're near Meadows Souk, where Meadows Drive meets Springs Drive, tell us; the Spinneys there is an easy landmark.
- Security: each sub-community has its own 24-hour security team, so if your gate records visitors, tell the guards before your slot.
- Emirates Hills and The Springs: both border The Meadows and have their own pages: laundry in The Springs and laundry in Emirates Hills.
- Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Park and The Lakes: pickup is free there too. See Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Park and The Lakes.
Not sure if we cover your street? Send a pin, or check the full list of areas.
Monthly plan or single bags in The Meadows
When a big villa sends washing every week, a monthly plan is your budget-friendly wash and fold. Your pickup falls on one fixed weekday. There's no booking each week, and every plan bag is cheaper than a single one.
- Essential: AED 250 buys four bags in the month, with one picked up weekly. Suits a couple or one person.
- Family: AED 450 buys eight bags in the month, with two picked up weekly. Room for a larger family's school uniforms, sports kit and swimwear.
- No plan: pay AED 65 for a bag in any week you need one.
Pick a day of the week and we'll collect your plan bags from your Meadows villa on that day. You can start a plan in the chat at any time.
How fast it comes back, express and stain tips
Our normal turnaround for The Meadows is 24 hours from pickup, as for most of Dubai.
Need a same-day laundry service? Book express laundry delivery before 2 PM. If express reaches your street in The Meadows, you'll have the bag back 5 hours after we collect it. Ask in the chat whether your address is covered.
- Tell us what the stain is. Barbecue fat on a shirt, ketchup on a school polo, pen on a sleeve: say what caused it and show us the spot.
- Tell us what you've tried. Bleach, stain spray or soap scrubbing all limit what we can still do.
- Shake out the sand. The summer shamal blows sand onto anything left by the pool. Shake it off, and never pack anything wet, because in the heat it soon smells musty.
Clean and press in The Meadows, priced per garment
Choose clean and press for anything that should come home hanging: work shirts, kanduras, abayas, chinos and light summer dresses. The label decides how each piece is cleaned; after that it's steamed by hand and hung. Shirts are AED 18 each; kanduras are AED 15. We collect from any villa in Meadows 1 to 9 for free. A standard order takes 24 hours.
Per shirtAED 18care label checked, steamed by hand, hung
- Priced per item, not by weight
- Each piece steamed by hand
- Returned in breathable covers
- Usually 24 hours, delicates longer
- Sharp crease, soft crease or none

What the per-item price includes
The price beside each item is all a Meadows villa pays for it. Spot cleaning, a hanger and a cover cost nothing extra.
- Checked first: pockets turned out, label read, buttons and seams looked over.
- Stains treated by hand: before the main wash, so warm water doesn't set them.
- Cleaned as the label says: cotton and blends go in cool water to hold their size; other fabrics get the specialist cleaning their label asks for.
- Dried on a hanger in filtered air: no tumble dryer, so lengths and sleeves keep their shape.
- Collar and cuffs first: we steam the small parts, then the rest of the garment.
- Three checks, then a cover goes on and it is loaded for The Meadows.
Booking clean and press from your villa
- Tell us what's coming. A WhatsApp like "four work shirts, one suit, a kandura" is enough. Add your Meadows number, street, villa and how you like the creases.
- Use two bags. Hanging clothes go in one bag, folding washing in another, so nothing is sorted wrongly.
- Pickup at your door. Collection from your villa is free. If security at your gate asks for visitor details, send them in the chat ahead of time.
- One piece at a time. We finish each garment, wash to steam, before picking up the next.
- Back on hangers. Normally a day later, in covers, ready for your wardrobe.
Clothes that suit this service
A simple test: if it creases on the way to work, it belongs here. From a Meadows wardrobe that usually means:
- Work shirts: poplin, oxford and easy-care cotton, collar done first.
- Skirts and blouses: fine cotton, viscose or crepe that creases after one school run.
- Suits and chinos: wool blends and cotton twill. Jackets are steamed on a shaped form so the shoulders and lapels sit right.
- Kanduras and thobes: white cotton or poly-cotton, steamed so the front hangs straight from neck to ankle.
- Ghutras: laid out flat and square, ready for you to fold.
- Abayas and jalabiyas: georgette and crepe are only steamed, so black fabric stays matt. For the price of a shayla, ask us in the chat.
- Kurta sets: top and trousers kept together on one ticket.
- School shirts: worth sending before photo day, so the collars look sharp.
When to choose a different service
- Already clean, just creased? Pressing takes out the creases without washing it again.
- Silk, lace, sequins, beads or heavy wool? These go to dry cleaning, which is gentler on them than water.
- Gym clothes, pyjamas, T-shirts and swimwear? Those belong folded, in a Wash & Fold bag.
Not sure about one item? Take a picture of its label and WhatsApp it to us. We'll say which bag it needs before anyone drives to The Meadows.
What the dots on a care label mean
Look for the little iron symbol on the label. The number of dots inside it tells us the heat. Three dots, as on cotton and linen, means up to about 200°C. Two dots means about 150°C, which you'll see on wool, silk and polyester blends. One dot, often on acrylic and other synthetics, means about 110°C. A cross through the symbol means we use steam and nothing hotter.
- No hot plate on dark crepe: it turns shiny when pressed hot, so we only steam a black abaya or the trousers of a dark suit.
- Collars and cuffs done one by one: they're what people notice first, so we take our time.
- Creases the way you like them: sharp, soft or none, and shirts folded flat for travel if you ask. Say it once and it's written on your order.
- Breathable covers: summer humidity in Dubai averages over 90%, and The Meadows is no different. Plastic would trap moisture; our covers keep dust off and let the fabric breathe.
Pickup across Meadows 1 to 9
We collect clean and press orders free from every part of The Meadows, just like wash and fold. The area is split into numbered sub-communities, so a full address helps the driver find you first time.
- Meadows number, street and villa: send all three with a location pin. If the gate checks visitors, arrange a pass before your slot.
- Nearby landmarks: if you're close to Meadows Souk, at Meadows Drive and Springs Drive, or near Emirates International School, Meadows, tell us.
- Next door: Jumeirah Park and Jumeirah Islands also get free pickup, and each has its own page.
How long it takes from The Meadows, and express
Collected from The Meadows today, a standard clean and press order is back tomorrow, 24 hours later. Delicate pieces may need longer. It depends on the piece, and you'll hear the time while booking.
Need a shirt tonight? Express orders placed before 2 PM, at an address we cover, come back on a hanger within five hours of pickup. Express doesn't reach every address, so send your Meadows number and villa and wait for a yes before you count on it.
Common stains on shirts and kanduras
- Yellow collars: summer heat over 38°C works sweat into white collars and kandura necklines. Fresh yellowing lifts more easily than old.
- Deodorant marks: white and chalky on dark fabric, yellow on light fabric. Each needs a different treatment, so tell us which.
- Oud and perfume oils: they can leave a dark ring on pale cotton. Point to the ring and name the oil.
- Grease and sun cream: often on polo shirts after a barbecue in the garden. Don't rub it; just tell us what caused it.
- Notes for your order: a button that needs a look, trousers with no crease, or shirts packed flat for travel. Add it to your WhatsApp and we'll follow it.
Bedding and towels from The Meadows, priced per item
Villas in The Meadows have three to seven bedrooms, and a king duvet won't fit in most home machines. This tab covers duvets of any size, sheets, quilted comforters, pillows, mattress protectors, bathrobes and pool towels. Nothing goes on a scale. Sheets are AED 25 each, towels AED 7, and any duvet is AED 56. Pickup and delivery are free. Bulky item washing takes longer: allow 48 to 72 hours for duvets, comforters and blankets. You'll know the return day before we collect.

- Priced per item, not by weight
- Machines big enough for a king duvet
- Duvets and quilts back in 2 to 3 days

What the price of each item includes
The price of each item covers everything: pickup from your villa in The Meadows, cleaning and delivery back. Our bed linen wash and fold covers sheets and pillowcases. They are washed, dried to the last seam and folded into squares, and each one is still charged singly. A lone pillowcase is never hurried for being small; it is simply dry sooner than a king duvet.
- Checked first: someone checks seams, corners and any mark mentioned in your booking.
- Big machines: a king duvet needs room to move in the drum, or only the outside gets clean.
- Gentle detergent: biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Your face rests on a pillowcase all night, so that counts.
- Dry in the middle: a duvet can feel dry on the outside while the centre is still damp. We check the middle by hand and keep drying until it's dry all the way through.
- Packed only when fully dry: nothing goes back to your villa with a damp corner.
Duvet covers are AED 31 each on top. We remove them and wash them in their own load.
How to book a bedding pickup
- Tell us what you have. Something like "king duvet, three sets of sheets, pool towels" is enough, plus your Meadows number, street, villa and a location pin.
- Get your times. We reply with the pickup time and the return day.
- Pack it. Roll and tie each duvet in its own bag. Sheets and towels can share a bag.
- Free pickup. We collect from your front door. Need a visitor pass at your gate? Please organise it beforehand.
- Updates. We keep you posted on WhatsApp until it's back at your door.
The chat is open day and night. Stripped the guest beds late on a Friday? Book there and then.
Duvets, comforters, blankets and bedcovers
A duvet or comforter of any size, single to king, costs AED 56. We check each type a little differently.
- Duvet: a plain shell with loose filling, slept under with a cover on. Its cover is unbuttoned first and charged on its own.
- Comforter: stitched through in squares or rows, with a printed top. The stitched pockets dry unevenly, so a hand runs along each seam before it passes.
- Blanket: a standard one is AED 26, and larger sizes are priced higher.
- Bedcover: AED 29. It lies on top of the bed and catches dust. When the shamal blows, sand gets into Meadows villas every time a door opens. Mention tassels, fringing or beadwork when you book.
Is a seam split or the filling escaping? Show us a picture before pickup, and we'll agree with you whether washing is wise.
Sheets, pillowcases, pillows and protectors
Through a Dubai summer, a Meadows household washes sheets and pillowcases much more often than duvets. That's why they thin first.
- Sheets: AED 25, fitted or flat. Turn fitted sheets inside out before packing; the corners often hide hair ties, small toys and socks.
- Pillowcases: AED 9. Sun cream from the pool leaves oily marks on cotton; point them out and don't rub.
- Pillows: AED 19 each. Here's a test: fold the pillow in half, then release it. A pillow that stays bent has tired filling, and no wash brings it back. We don't wash memory foam.
- Mattress protectors: AED 35. A waterproof back can split under strong heat. Let us see its label before it comes in.
Changing six beds at once? List every set in the chat, room by room if it helps. It makes it easier to check everything when it comes back.
A towel laundry service for Meadows pools
Towels usually feel stiff because old soap is stuck in the loops. We rinse each towel twice and dry it all the way through. A bath towel costs AED 7 and a bathrobe AED 19.
- Pool towels: Meadows 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8 have community pools, and some villas have their own. A wet towel left in a bag overnight smells sour by morning, so send it the same day.
- Bathrobes: the heavy collar is the last part to dry, so we feel it before folding. Push the belt through a sleeve to keep it with the robe.
- Bath mats: plain cotton is fine. Keep back any mat with a crumbling rubber backing.
- Sofa covers: a standard removable cover is AED 46. Number the cushions with sticky notes, then unzip.
- Tablecloths: AED 19. After a meal in the garden, let any spill dry and tell us if it's wine, oil or sauce.
Don't pack a wet towel next to a duvet. In Dubai's summer humidity the damp soaks into the filling quickly.
What not to put in the bedding bag
Please hold these back. No washing machine can take them safely:
- Electric blankets, heated throws or anything else wired.
- Memory foam, including pillows and mattress toppers.
- Weighted blankets, the kind that hold glass or plastic pellets.
- A care label with a crossed-out washtub. Not sure? Send a photo and we'll tell you before our driver heads to The Meadows.
Clothes have their own services. Everyday wear is charged by the bag in Wash & Fold, and clothes that should hang are charged per piece in Clean & Press. Give each service its own bag, and one pickup at your villa takes everything. For care advice on all bedding, see our bedding and towel page.
Why a duvet takes 2 to 3 days
With duvet and comforter laundering, most of the time goes on drying. Down, feather and polyester fillings stay wet in the centre after the cover feels dry. If a duvet is stored like that, it starts to smell musty, cupboard or not.
- 48 to 72 hours: the time thick items like duvets and comforters spend with us, from pickup at your Meadows villa.
- A clear return day: it comes to you on WhatsApp, in your booking chat.
Renting your villa to short-stay guests? Linen changes between guests are covered on our Airbnb laundry page. Here we're talking about the beds your own household sleeps in.
Meadows 1 to 9 and the areas nearby
We cover all nine Meadows sub-communities, with free pickup and delivery.
- Your villa: we collect from your front door. The Meadows is gated with 24-hour security, so if your entrance asks for a pass, have it ready before the driver turns up. If you're near Meadows Souk and its Spinneys, or Emirates International School, Meadows, tell us and we'll use the nearest gate.
- Neighbours: The Springs and Emirates Hills are right next to The Meadows, and each has its own page.
- Not sure if we cover you? Send a location pin and we'll confirm.
Where you live doesn't change the price: a king duvet from Meadows 7 is billed exactly like one from an Al Barsha flat.

The Meadows laundry, answered
What do I get from a laundry service in The Meadows?
We collect from your villa, clean everything and bring it back. Pickup and delivery are free. To book, WhatsApp us your Meadows cluster, villa number and the hour you'd like. No app needed. T-shirts, towels and day-to-day clothes go in a bag to be washed and folded. Office shirts, abayas and kanduras are hand-steamed, then brought back on hangers.
- Bags have one flat price; hung clothes are priced per piece
- Your load gets its own machine, sanitised afterwards
- Clean clothes that just need the creases out go to Pressing
Which laundry is closest to Meadows Souk and The Meadows Village?
The closest one comes to your front door. A laundry service near me search at Meadows Souk shows shops you'd still have to drive a full bag to. Our van stops at your villa instead, in any cluster from Meadows 1 to Meadows 9. You pay nothing for pickup or delivery.
- Shopping at Waitrose in The Meadows Village? Book the pickup for after
- A location pin helps the driver find your villa fast
- Book with one chat message; there's no sign-up form
Is same-day laundry an option in The Meadows?
Yes, through express. Book it before 2 PM. Express brings your clothes back five hours after pickup, where it covers your Meadows cluster. If you miss 2 PM, our next-day laundry service has them back to you within 24 hours, which is what we offer across most of Dubai. Booking in the morning gives you the best chance.
- Tell us your cluster and we'll check express reaches it
- Thick bedding, like a winter duvet, needs 48 to 72 hours
- Delicate fabrics may take longer; we'll tell you after checking them
What does a bag cost in The Meadows, and what's the minimum order?
You pay per bag for washing and per item for anything returned on hangers. The 6kg bag's price stays the same however tightly you fill it, and the 12kg bag takes more sheets. Orders start at AED 50, and smaller ones are still collected for a small fee. Pickup and delivery are free, even in Meadows 9.
- If you send laundry weekly, a monthly plan makes this an affordable laundry service: Essential has four bags, Family has eight
- Shirts, kanduras and abayas are priced one by one under Clean & Press
- All the AED prices are in the price cards higher up
Do you pick up from all nine Meadows clusters?
Yes, from Meadows 1 to Meadows 9, on the same terms. Each cluster is gated, with its own security team on duty day and night. The guard at your gate may ask who our van is visiting. If they need a pass or a name, put it in your WhatsApp booking and the driver will have it ready.
- The driver only needs your cluster, villa number and a pin
- Meadows 1 and Meadows 9 pay exactly the same
- We hand over at your villa door, not the security cabin
Where do kanduras, abayas and office shirts from The Meadows go?
They go to Clean & Press, priced by the piece. We clean each piece to suit its fabric and care label, steam it by hand, then hang it and bring it back to your Meadows villa in a garment cover. Keep them out of the folded bag; a kandura packed in with towels comes back creased.
- Whites are never washed with colours
- Hung up on return, or folded if you prefer
- Trouser creases only if you ask for them
Is dry cleaning collected from The Meadows too?
Yes, but dry cleaning is its own service, with a different price list. Beaded gowns, silk, sequins and anything labelled to keep away from water go to dry cleaning, not the washer. Keep them apart from the wash bag and say so on WhatsApp. The same driver picks up both bags at your villa in The Meadows, in one stop.
- Wedding and party outfits usually go here
- Two bags, one visit, no second trip

How do I send damp gym and squash kit from The Meadows?
Let it dry out first, then pack it inside out. The Meadows has football pitches, tennis and squash courts and outdoor gyms. In Dubai's heat, damp kit zipped into a holdall starts to smell within a day. Hang shirts and shorts over a rail once you're home, turn them inside out and pair the socks.
- Football boots go to Shoe care, not the wash bag
- Mention grass or mud stains in the chat
- Never leave damp kit in a closed holdall overnight
Can you wash guest-room sheets and towels from a large Meadows villa?
Yes, by the bag, and the 12kg bag holds the most. Meadows villas have up to seven bedrooms, so a weekend of guests can leave a lot of sheets, pillowcases and bath towels. Strip the beds, fill the big bag, and we'll return it all folded, ready to put away in the linen cupboard.
- Fitted sheets come back folded flat
- Heavy bedding is ready in 48 to 72 hours
- Bath mats can go in the same bag
Does laundry from The Meadows share a machine with other homes?
No, your laundry gets a machine of its own. After your cycle, we sanitise the drum before the next household's washing goes in. Our commercial-grade detergent is gentle, hypoallergenic and biodegradable, so it suits sensitive skin and leaves no heavy scent. If anyone in your Meadows villa reacts to a product, tell us when you book.
- No heavy scent left on your clothes
- The drum is cleaned between households
- The same standard in every cluster, Meadows 1 to 9
