• Dry mud first. Garden shoes and football kit are easier to clean once the mud is dry and brushed off outside.
• Leave one note. If a piece is delicate or has a bad stain, say so in your message.

Use any bag you like. A tied-up bin liner works, and so does a laundry basket liner.

• Dry all the way: a waistband or hood can feel dry on the surface and stay damp inside. We feel those parts before folding.

Dark clothes lose their colour when washed hot or with whites. Here is what we do to stop that.

• Dark colours washed together: navy, black and charcoal stay apart from white shirts.
• Cooler water: it helps jeans and dark T-shirts hold their colour longer.
• Rinsed well: leftover detergent can make black clothes look dull, so we rinse thoroughly.

If you have a new piece that might bleed, mention it in your message and we will wash it on its own.

If you send laundry every week, a plan may suit you better. Essential is AED 250 a month, and Family is AED 450 a month. Each month, you get a set number of bags and pickups on a day that you choose.

Traditional wear needs careful handling. Each piece is looked at individually, never put in with a bulk load.

Suits are cleaned as one set, so the jacket and trousers fade at the same rate. A two-piece suit has a single price.

• Jackets: steamed by hand, so the shape is kept.
• Trousers: tell us if you want a crease down the front or none.
• Dresses: plain day dresses are fine here. Sequins, lace and silk go to dry cleaning.

The price of an item includes the whole trip: pickup from your Jumeirah Park villa, cleaning, and delivery back. A duvet cover is AED 31 on top. We take it off and wash it separately.

Duvet and comforter laundering is priced per item, and a duvet and its cover count as two items, because they are cleaned in different ways. The cover is washed like a sheet. The duvet needs a bigger machine and longer to dry.

• Remove the cover before packing, or leave it on and tell us. We will take it off.
• Say the size. Duvet price is the same from single to king.
• Tell us about filling. Down, feather and polyester all wash differently, so a photo of the label helps.

Plan for a few days. The centre of a duvet takes the longest to dry.

These are the biggest things in your house. A duvet is AED 56, a standard blanket is AED 26 and a bedcover is AED 29.

• Duvets: one price from single to king.
• Blankets: the price is for a standard size. Larger ones cost more, and we confirm the price before we wash.
• Bedcovers: quilted ones need extra drying time, so allow the full 48 to 72 hours.

Big items take space in the van, but your pickup from Jumeirah Park is still free. Mention how many items there are when you book, so the driver brings enough room.

In a Jumeirah Park house with several bedrooms, sheets and pillowcases are changed far more often than duvets. That is why they wear out first.

• Sheets: AED 25 each, fitted or flat. Turn fitted sheets inside out before packing, because corners hide socks and hair ties.
• Pillowcases: AED 9 each. Sun cream leaves oily marks on cotton, so point them out and don't scrub.

• Towels: AED 7 each, bath or pool.
• Bathrobes: AED 19 each.
• Sofa covers: a standard cover is AED 46. Only covers that come off, with a care label.
• Tablecloths: AED 19 each, good before or after a family gathering.

Wet towels packed for days start to smell. Put them in the bag dry if you can, or send them straight away.

Bulky pieces dry slowly, and drying is what takes the time. Sheets and towels are usually home with your normal order. Duvets, comforters and blankets take 48 to 72 hours.

When you book, we will say which day your order should be back. If you need bedding for guests on a set date, put that date in your message and we will tell you if it works.

Zip-off sofa covers, cushion covers and tablecloths can go in the same pickup as your bedding. Check the care label before you send them.

• Covers that are fixed to the sofa cannot be washed.
• Tell us the fabric if there is no label.
• Large covers dry slowly, so give them the longer time.
