Think of the bag as your normal week of clothes. T-shirts, jeans, shorts, underwear, socks, gym kit, pyjamas, kids' clothes and everyday dresses all belong in it. It does not matter whether they are cotton, polyester or a blend, because everything in the bag gets the same careful wash and the same low-heat dry.

If you live in one of the Discovery Gardens clusters, such as Zen, Mogul or Cactus, you do not need to do anything special. Fill the bag, write your building number on a note or on the bag itself, and leave the rest to us. There is no weighing at the door and no counting of items. The price is the same for a full bag and for one that is nearly full.

When your bag reaches us, the clothes are sorted by colour and fabric. Whites stay with whites, darks with darks, and anything that sheds or bleeds is kept apart so it cannot spoil the rest of the load. Pockets get checked as well, because a forgotten tissue or pen can ruin a whole wash.

Your clothes then go into a machine that is not shared with another customer, and the machine has been sanitised since its last cycle. We use commercial-grade detergent that is biodegradable and hypoallergenic. It cleans properly without leaving a heavy perfume on the cloth, which matters if anyone in your household has sensitive skin.

Stains are treated by hand before the wash, so tell us in the chat if you know about one.

Everything is dried on a low heat, because high heat is what shrinks cotton and ruins the stretch in gym leggings and fitted tops. A slower dry takes a little longer, but your clothes keep their size and shape, and that is what you want from a weekly wash. Nothing is dried until it is brittle.

Once it is dry, each piece is folded by hand and stacked in the bag, so you can carry the pile straight to a drawer or wardrobe. T-shirts are folded flat, jeans in half, and socks are paired where we can find the match. It is the kind of folding you would do yourself if you had the time.

Standard orders return within 24 hours across most of Dubai, and that includes every cluster of Discovery Gardens. Your bag comes back to the same door it left from.

A flat in Discovery Gardens is a studio or a one- or two-bedroom home, and there is not much room for a clothes horse. In July and August the average high is over 43 C and humidity averages over 90%, so washing hung up indoors takes a long time to dry and can turn musty.

Dubai's balcony rules also stop you from airing laundry outside. For most flats, then, a bag collected from the door is the easy way to get a week of washing finished and put away. A free pickup also means no trip to a launderette with a heavy bag.

Message us on WhatsApp with your building number and cluster, and choose a time. Contactless pickup and delivery is fine too: leave the bag at your door, or with the front desk if your building has one, and tell us in the chat. Nobody needs to be home at the moment of collection.

The driver collects the bag, and you get updates as it moves through the wash. When it is ready, the bag is delivered back to the same place, folded and clean, and you get a message when it arrives. The driver will not come inside your home.

Pickup is free for every Discovery Gardens building, so there is no charge for the van.

A bag is for washing you would normally put in a home machine. Silk, wool, suits, formal dresses and traditional clothes such as kanduras and abayas are better in clean and press, where each piece is priced and handled on its own. That is often the better way to protect an expensive garment.

Big bedding such as duvets, comforters and blankets has its own tab as well, because it needs bigger machines and longer drying. If you are not sure where something belongs, ask in the chat and we will point you to the right one. Shoes, handbags and rugs also have their own pages.

It is simple to mix services in a single pickup, so send everything in one go.

The standard bag holds up to 6kg and costs AED 65. If you wash every week, the Essential plan gives you one bag a week, which is four bags a month, for AED 250. The price comes out as one bill each month, so you always know what to expect.

Families can take the Family plan at AED 450 a month for two bags every week, which is eight bags a month. You can change plan on WhatsApp whenever your routine changes.

Compare each plan with paying AED 65 for every single bag, and you can see which one suits your washing better. If you only need an occasional wash, one bag at a time is perfectly fine.

A few habits make the whole thing smoother. Empty the pockets, zip up jackets, and put anything small, like a baby sock, inside a pillowcase before it goes in the bag. Tell us in the chat about any stain and what caused it, because the cause decides how we treat it.

Gym kit that has sat in a bag for days is fine to send. The sooner it is washed, the better it comes out, so do not leave it until the weekend. Wet swimwear is best rinsed first and then sent with the rest.

Clean and press is for clothes you want to look sharp. We wash each piece in cool water, dry it in filtered air and press it by hand with steam, so a shirt comes back crisp and not shiny. It is the opposite of tumbling everything in one bag.

It is priced per piece, not by weight, so one good shirt costs the same whether it travels alone or with a pile of others. Pieces are collected from your Discovery Gardens door and returned to it.

Every garment is checked three times: before it is cleaned, after the wash, and once more when it has been pressed. The first check looks for stains, loose buttons and torn seams. The last makes sure the piece is dry, flat and ready for its hanger.

If something needs your attention, such as a ripped lining or a button that has gone, we mention it in the chat before the order comes back, so you are never surprised at the door. It is a small step that saves a lot of annoyance later.

A work shirt, a pair of smart trousers or a two-piece suit can all go in the same order. Each comes back on its own hanger, with collars and cuffs pressed flat and creases only where they belong. That saves you setting up a board in a small flat on a Sunday night.

Dresses are checked for beads, zips and fine fabric before cleaning. If a dress has a care label that says dry clean only, tell us when you book and we will treat it that way. Heavier items such as a winter coat are priced separately in the table.

Pieces that are only creased and do not need cleaning can go to our pressing page instead, where nothing is washed. Ask in the chat if you are unsure which is right.

Kanduras, abayas, ghutras and jalabiyas are cleaned and pressed with care, one piece at a time. A kandura is AED 15 and a plain abaya AED 18. Delicate pieces go through the gentler process, which can take longer, and we give you the time at pickup.

Each one is returned on a hanger in a breathable bag, ready to wear. Mention any embroidery or trim in the chat before pickup, so it gets the right handling.

Cleaned and pressed clothes come home on hangers, covered in a breathable bag. That keeps the creases out on the way from the van to your wardrobe, and the bag lets the cloth breathe so it never smells shut in. Hang the order up as soon as it arrives and it will stay crisp until the day you wear it.

If your building in Discovery Gardens has a front desk, we can leave the order there, and you will get a message as soon as it has arrived. Otherwise, the driver delivers to your door at the time you chose. Pickup works the same way, so the whole thing needs very little of your time.

Most pieces are back within 24 hours. Delicate items such as fine silk, beaded dresses and some traditional pieces can take longer, because they get a slower, gentler process. How long depends on the piece, and we tell you at pickup. We would rather keep a dress a little longer than rush it.

Need it for an event tomorrow? Tell us when you book, and we will say whether express is possible for your address. Express is 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your location is covered, so ask us early in the day.

Tell us about anything special in the chat, such as a stain you know about, a delicate trim or a piece you need back by a certain day. We write special requests on your order, and we do our best to follow them. The more we know before the wash, the better the result.

You can also ask about a garment before you book, with a photo of the care label. It costs nothing, and it helps us give you a clear answer on price and timing.

Not every piece is on the list. A shayla, for example, has no row in the table above. Ask on WhatsApp and we will give you a price before the pickup, so there are no surprises when the order comes back. It only takes a minute and you pay nothing for asking.

The same goes for pieces made of unusual fabrics, such as heavy embroidery or fur trim. Send a photo of the care label and we will tell you how we would handle it, and whether it needs the slower delicate process.

Bed linen wash and fold is the most common reason to book this tab. Sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers are washed on their own, so they come back crisp and clean instead of tangled in a bag with your clothes. A duvet cover is AED 31, and the cover is washed apart from the duvet itself.

Fill in the building and cluster, then hand the bundle over. Everything is returned folded, and the bed can be made again that evening. Sheets dry well in a big machine, so they come back flat rather than creased from a damp rack in the living room.

Remove the cover from the duvet before you send it, or tell us in the chat if you would rather we did it. Add the pillowcases and any spare sets, and the whole bed is done in one pickup.

A home machine in a studio or small flat is usually small. A duvet or a thick comforter can fill it, will not spin properly, and then stays damp in the middle for days. That is how bedding ends up smelling stale, even after a wash.

Our machines are much larger, and the drying is done properly, so the filling comes back light and fully dry rather than lumpy. You get the bed back without having to fight the washing machine for an afternoon, and without a heavy duvet draped over every chair.

Duvets, comforters, blankets and bedcovers are all washed in big machines and dried until the filling is completely dry. A duvet is AED 56, a standard blanket AED 26 and a bedcover AED 29. Each is priced as one piece, whatever its weight.

Duvet and comforter laundering takes longer than clothes. Plan for 48 to 72 hours, and tell us if you need the bed made by a certain day so we can arrange the pickup around it. A thick quilted comforter is the slowest to dry, so allow the full time and book a little early.

A bedsheet is AED 25 and a pillowcase AED 9. A pillow is AED 19, and a mattress protector AED 35. Every piece is priced on its own, so you only pay for what you send, and the full list is in the table above.

Pillows that have gone flat come back lighter after a proper wash and a full dry. A mattress protector is easy to forget, but it gets as much use as the sheets above it, so add it to the same order and the whole bed is done in one go. Send the spare set too, so you have a fresh one ready to change.

Pillowcases are easy to lose in a pile, so put them in one bag together.

A towel laundry service is handy with 13 swimming pools in the community, because pool towels pile up fast. A towel is AED 7 and a bathrobe AED 19. They are washed thoroughly and dried until they are soft, not stiff, which is hard to manage on a rack indoors.

Sofa covers are AED 46 for a regular size, and a table cloth is AED 19. Everything is washed in big machines and returned folded, so the cupboard fills up neatly instead of in a heap. A larger sofa cover costs more, and the table shows the difference.

Send towels in the same order as your sheets and you only pay for the pieces, with free pickup and delivery on the lot. Book it in one message, and it all arrives together.

Your order returns to the same place, free of charge, once it is clean and fully dry. You get a message when it is on its way, so you can be around to take it in.

You can book bed and bath and wash and fold together in one pickup. Put the clothes in your wash bag, the bedding in a separate bag, and tell us in the chat that there are two. The driver takes both in one visit, so you only have to be ready once.

Each service is priced on its own, so you always know the total. Bedding takes longer than clothes, so it may come back on a different day from your wash bag, and we will tell you which one is coming first.
