Each piece is folded by hand before it goes back into the bag, and the whole order is checked once more before it leaves us.

A suitcase of worn clothes can smell of travel. Some of it is crumpled, and a few pieces carry a coffee drop or a sunscreen mark. Put it all in the bag, and tell the driver about any marks you noticed. The sooner we know, the better the treatment.

If something was already damaged before the trip, say so at pickup. Items that are already damaged, or that have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk, so it is better to mention them early. Loose change, cards and keys belong in your pocket, not the wash.

The hotel has an outdoor pool and a fitness centre, so wet swimwear and sweaty kit pile up quickly. Both can go in the bag. Rinse swimwear if you can, and keep it apart from your dress shirts until the driver arrives.

Trainers are not part of the bag. If you need shoes cleaned, ask us about shoe care and we can collect them in the same pickup.

The 6kg bag suits one traveller on a stay of about a week, with normal clothes. A couple or a family with children will fill the 12kg bag more easily, and the bigger bag has one fixed price too, so you never pay per piece.

You do not need to guess. Tell us roughly how much you have, and the driver can advise at pickup. If the bag turns out too small, we can take a second one in the same visit instead of sending the driver back.

If you are in Dubai for weeks, say on a project or while you settle in, a plan can cost less than single bags. One 6kg bag is AED 65. The Essential plan sends one bag a week for AED 250 a month, and the Family plan collects two bags a week for AED 450 a month.

Plans are billed monthly with no contract, and you can change them on WhatsApp. Nobody expects a hotel guest to sign up for months, so plans are there only if your stay is long.

Some things should not go in with everyday washing. Silk, beaded dresses, structured jackets and anything marked dry clean only belong in Clean & Press. Hotel towels and robes stay in the room, since they belong to the hotel and are not ours to wash.

Tell the driver about anything fragile. Items already damaged or with no care label are cleaned at your risk, and loss or damage cover is up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.

Business shirts are the easiest thing to hand over. Send them in the morning, and they come back cleaned, pressed and on hangers. Travel creases come out, and a shirt arrives ready to wear to the next meeting. Each shirt is priced on its own, whatever the sleeve length.

Evening gowns, formal dresses and party outfits are cleaned and pressed one piece at a time. Tell the driver about anything spilled during the event, and if you know what it was, say so. That lets us choose the right treatment, and we tell you honestly if a mark may stay.

Pieces with sequins, beading or a delicate lining may need longer, so book early when the event has a fixed date. We tell you the time at pickup. Blouses and skirts are cleaned the same way, and everything comes back on a hanger.
