When the driver brings your bag to our laundry, it is tipped out and every item is looked at. Pockets are emptied, stains are marked and anything that should not be machine washed is set aside, so we can ask you about it.

Clothes are then sorted by colour and weight. Towels and jeans never share a drum with a white blouse, and your bag is never mixed with another guest's. One customer gets one machine.

A cycle that suits the fabric is chosen, then the drum is cleaned before the next customer.

Pack what you wear every day: T-shirts, underwear, socks, shorts, jeans, pyjamas, gym kit and swimwear. Up to 6kg fits in the standard bag, which is a good week of clothes for one person. A couple travelling together may want the larger 12kg bag.

Leave out anything that needs a hanger, such as a shirt for a meeting, and send it to Clean & Press instead. Hotel towels and robes stay in your room. They are the hotel's, and we only wash your own clothes.

The hotel has a gym and a rooftop pool, and both leave their mark. Sweat sets in when a damp top sits in a bag for days, and chlorine and sun cream are best washed out early rather than late.

Put both in your wash and fold bag. They are washed on a cycle that suits the fabric, then dried on low heat so stretchy material keeps its shape. Tell the driver if a piece has a special label, such as sports gear with padding.

Back at the hotel you will find them folded, ready for tomorrow.

Nobody wants a pink shirt on holiday. At our laundry, whites, lights and darks go into separate loads, and new dark clothes that may bleed are washed on their own.

If you know something runs, say so in the chat before the driver arrives and we will handle it with care. Checking this first costs nothing and avoids a nasty surprise when you open the bag.

Standard wash and fold comes back within 24 hours. Hotel check-out is before noon, so book the pickup a day or two before you leave and your clothes are back in time to pack.

Leaving sooner? Ask for express. It takes 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered. We check the address first, so you know before you rely on it.

Give us your room number and a time when you book. If the hotel allows it, the driver meets you in the lobby or at the concierge desk, so you never have to leave the building.

He checks the items with you. We then text you a secure payment link. You can pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Nobody takes cash or cards in the lobby, and your clothes go out for delivery once the link is paid.

For a single bag, the cost is AED 65 whenever you book. Live in Dubai and stay at the hotel often? A monthly plan may suit you better.

The Essential plan covers four bags a month, one every week, for AED 250. The Family plan covers eight bags a month, two every week, for AED 450.

If a piece is lost or damaged while it is with us, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item. Items that were already damaged, or that have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk.

Wash and fold is for everyday clothes. Please do not put in anything precious or hard to replace, such as a favourite silk shirt. Send those to Clean & Press, and tell the driver about them when he checks the items.

Each piece is looked at, cleaned in the way that suits its fabric, then steamed and pressed by hand. It comes back on a hanger in a breathable cover, with no plastic.

A business trip means a clean shirt for every morning. Long and short sleeves cost AED 18 each, and they come back on hangers so you can go straight from the wardrobe to the lobby.

Give us the shirts the day before you need the first one. If a client dinner is on tonight, ask for express before 2 PM.

If you are in town for a wedding, a conference or a dinner, the suit usually needs attention after the flight. A two-piece suit is priced as one item. A jacket or a tie on its own is priced separately.

Send the suit as soon as you arrive, not on the evening before. Standard time is 24 hours, so a Monday pickup is ready on Tuesday. For a same-day event, ask for express suit pressing. It takes 5 hours when you book before 2 PM and your address is covered.

A kandura costs AED 15. An abaya and a ghutra have their own prices in the table above. Each one is cleaned by itself, pressed and returned on a hanger, covered and ready to wear.

Tell the driver about any embroidery or stones.

The small iron on a care label shows how hot the press can go. One dot means cool, for acrylic and nylon. Two dots mean medium, for polyester, silk blends and wool. Three dots mean hot, for cotton and linen. A crossed-out iron means no pressing at all.

If a piece has no label, tell the driver. It will be cleaned at your own risk, because we cannot check what it is made of. Linen shirts crease again quickly, even after a good press. That is the cloth, not the work.

Fine fabrics need the gentlest treatment. Silk, satin and chiffon are cleaned on the right process and pressed on a low setting. Please tell us about beads or sequins when the driver checks the dress.

It comes back on a hanger, covered, so you can take it straight to the venue.

Coffee at breakfast, sauce at dinner, a splash of wine at the event. Tell us what it was and when it happened. Stains are treated by hand before cleaning, and a quick note about the cause helps us choose the right treatment.

Do not rub a stain at the hotel. Blot it and hand it over as it is.

Every piece goes back on a hanger in a breathable cover, ready for the wardrobe in your room. Standard is 24 hours. Delicate pieces take 48.

The payment link is texted once the driver has checked the items, and your clothes go out for delivery after it is paid. If something is lost or damaged while it is with us, we cover up to 10 times its cleaning price.
