Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at The Meydan Hotel

Guests at The Meydan Hotel often arrive with more laundry than they expect. Race days, golf and long meetings all make clothes pile up, and flat-rate laundry bags keep the cost simple.

• One bag: everything goes in together, up to 6kg.
• One price: you pay by the bag, not by the piece, so extra T-shirts do not cost more.
• Pickup at the hotel: we meet you at the lobby or concierge if the hotel allows it.

We text you a payment link after the driver checks the items. You do not pay in the lobby.

Wash & Fold is for everyday clothes that can go in a machine. That covers most of a suitcase.

• T-shirts, polo shirts and underwear
• Jeans, shorts and casual trousers
• Gym kit and swimwear
• Socks and pyjamas

Suits, silk, evening wear and anything that must stay crisp should go to Clean & Press, not the bag.

Your bag is not tipped in with someone else's. It runs in a machine by itself.

• Pockets emptied: coins, tissues and receipts come out first.
• Sorted by colour and fabric: whites and pale clothes together, dark gym kit and jeans in another load.
• Stains treated first: sun cream, sweat and food marks are treated before the wash.
• Gentle for fine fabrics: lace, mesh and stretch items get a cooler wash.

After the wash, your clothes are dried on low heat so they keep their shape and size.

Everything is folded by hand and packed so it fits straight back in a suitcase.

If you want a particular fold, say so on WhatsApp when you book.

Most bags are back within 24 hours, so think of it as a next-day laundry service. That suits a guest staying a few nights.

• Standard: back within 24 hours.
• Express: back in 5 hours if you book before 2 PM, where your address is covered.
• Late check-out: tell us your check-out time and we will plan around it.

Express has no extra fee. You pay the normal price for the bag.

We wash with a hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent that has only a light scent. It is gentle on fabric and on skin.

That is good news if you are travelling with children, because it is also safe for baby clothes. If anyone has an allergy, tell us when you book and we will note it on the order.

Our machines are cleaned after every cycle, so there is nothing left from the last load.

Staying for weeks, or working near Meydan? A plan is budget-friendly wash and fold for longer visits. The Essential plan is AED 250 a month for one pickup a week. The Family plan is AED 450 a month for two bags every week.

A single bag is AED 65, so a plan is worth it only if you will send a bag every week. Plans are paid once a month and you can change anything on WhatsApp.

Some things are better cleaned another way, and we will tell you when we spot one.

• Sequins and beading: these go to dry cleaning.
• Suits and jackets: these go to Clean & Press.
• Items with no care label or already damaged: we can clean them, but at your own risk.

If we lose or damage an item, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.

Every piece is treated on its own. We do not mix your suit with other clothes.

• Care label read first: the label decides how the piece is cleaned.
• Cool-water wash: clothes that can be washed are washed in cool water.
• Dried in filtered air: this keeps colours and shape.
• Steamed by hand: each piece is pressed with a steamer, not squashed flat.
• Three checks: we look it over before it goes in its cover.

Everything comes back on a hanger, in a breathable cover and not in plastic. That means your shirts and suits arrive ready to hang in the wardrobe at The Meydan Hotel.

If you are flying out the same day, say so, and we can plan the return around your flight.

The Meydan Hotel has a ballroom and conference rooms, so many guests need a suit or a dress pressed at short notice.

• Suit, two pieces: priced as a set, jacket and trousers.
• Suit jacket on its own: priced separately.
• Tie: small, but easy to mark at dinner.
• Evening dress: tell us about any beading or sequins when you book.

Tell us the date of your event, and we will aim to have it back in time. Express suit pressing takes 5 hours if you book before 2 PM, where your address is covered.

If a piece is just everyday cotton, a Wash & Fold bag is cheaper. If it was washed already and only needs pressing, choose Pressing only. Not sure? Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will say which is best.

Traditional wear has its own prices, and we do not use the shirt price for it.

• Kandura: cleaned and pressed, returned on a hanger.
• Abaya: basic or delicate. Tell us if it has fine fabric or decoration.
• Ghutra and gathra: pressed so it keeps its shape.
• Jalabiya and kurta: cleaned and pressed as single pieces.

For a family gathering or a wedding, send these two days before if you can, so there is time to spare.

A shirt costs AED 18, long or short sleeves. Press it for a meeting, a dinner or a flight, and wear it straight out of the cover. Shirts come back on hangers, ready for the morning.

We read every care label before we clean a piece, and we follow it. Items that are already damaged, or have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk, because we cannot know how they will react.

After the driver checks your items, we text you a secure link to pay. You can pay with a debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We do not take cash or cards in the lobby, and your clothes go out for delivery once you have paid.

If an item is lost or damaged, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.
