Wash & Fold is made for everyday clothes that can take a normal machine wash. If you are unsure about a piece, put it in and tell us in the chat. We will read its label before it goes in the machine, and we will tell you if something needs a different service. Most people find it easiest to send the whole basket in one go.

• T-shirts and tops: cotton and mixed fabrics are all fine, from school polos to casual shirts.
• Jeans, shorts and trousers: empty the pockets and zip up first.
• Socks: they go in with everything else.
• Underwear and nightwear: these are washed in your own load, never with another customer's, at a suitable temperature.
• Sportswear: gym kit and running tops are washed inside out.
• Children's clothes: uniforms, pyjamas and play clothes are all welcome, even with grass stains.
• Pillowcases and small covers: they are welcome too, and they dry quickly.

Some things should not go in a standard wash bag. A separate service gives them the right process, and the driver can collect everything in one visit.

• Work shirts you want on hangers: send them as Clean & Press for a crisp finish.
• Gowns, saris and beaded pieces: these need specialist care, so send them for dry cleaning.
• Heavy duvets and blankets: choose Bed & Bath, which has bigger drums and a slower dry.
• Rugs and prayer mats: these are collected for cleaning and brought back, so just ask when you book.

• Essential: four bags a month, one a week, for AED 250 each month.
• Family: eight bags a month, two a week, for AED 450 each month.

Express laundry delivery takes 5 hours when you book before 2 PM, and only where your address is covered. Ask on WhatsApp before you pack and we will tell you whether express works for your community. Bulky bedding is slower, at 48 to 72 hours.

• Sun cream and sweat: tell us which pieces, and we treat them before the wash. Avoid hot water, which can fix the mark.
• Food and drink: coffee, juice and sauces come out best when treated soon, so send the item the same week.
• Ink and oil: point out the spot in the chat. These marks need a specific treatment, and a note helps us choose the right one.

Care labels use small symbols, and the dots on the pressing symbol tell you how much heat a fabric can take. One dot means low heat, two means medium and three means high. Cotton and linen can usually take more heat, while silk, wool and synthetics need less. We read the label on every piece before we steam it.

• One dot, low heat: silk, nylon and acetate, steamed lightly.
• Two dots, medium: wool and polyester blends.
• Three dots, high: cotton and linen, which can take stronger steam and handle creases well.
• No symbol or a cross: if the label says the piece must not be pressed at all, tell us and we will keep it away from steam, or suggest dry cleaning instead.
• Polyester and blends: they hold creases well, so a low or medium setting is enough.

Express is 5 hours when you book before 2 PM, as long as your address is covered. We check the address before you pack anything, so ask in the chat first. Send us the list, a pin and your deadline, and we will tell you what is possible for your community.

• Sweat at the collar: it turns yellow on white kanduras and shirts. Tell us if it has been there a while.
• Sun cream and body oil: these leave faint marks on light fabrics. Point them out so we treat them first.
• Coffee and food: mention what it was and when it happened.
• Dust after a windy day: shamal winds lift desert sand, which can settle on clothes drying outside. A clean-and-press brings them back to their best.
• Creases from storage: clothes kept folded in a drawer for months may carry deep creases, and steaming relaxes them.
• Faded colours: if a piece looks washed out, tell us before cleaning so that we can check the fabric.

The price of each piece covers everything: pickup from your home in Meydan, the cleaning and the delivery back. Your sheets and pillowcases get our bed linen wash and fold. Thick bedding comes in a few types, and each is washed and dried a little differently.

• Duvet: a duvet is AED 56. The drum is big enough for a king size, and it dries slowly until the filling is fully dry.
• Blanket: a standard blanket is AED 26. Larger ones cost more, and fleece or wool throws are washed on a gentle setting.
• Comforter: a quilted comforter is washed without a cover because the stitching holds it together.
• Bedcover: a bedspread or bedcover is AED 29 and is shaken out and folded flat once it is dry.
• Cushion covers: small covers are washed with the bedding and folded flat.

This bulky item washing needs 48 to 72 hours, which is longer than clothes.

Everyday bedding is where most people start with Bed & Bath, and the prices are easy to compare.

• Sheets: a flat or fitted sheet is AED 25, washed and folded so it fits in a cupboard.
• Pillowcases: a pillowcase is AED 9, and it is the item that most needs a good rinse because it touches your skin.
• Pillows: a pillow is AED 19. We dry it slowly and fluff it so the filling spreads out again.
• Mattress protectors: a mattress protector is AED 35. It goes on the bed again fully dry.
• Fitted sheets: washed flat and folded so the corners stay neat.

Because everything dries fully before folding, nothing comes back damp, even when Dubai gets very hot.

If you change the beds every week, a monthly plan for your sheets is not needed, because every piece is priced individually. Book it whenever it suits you.

Towels pile up fast when people go to the gym, run the District One track or spend time at the lagoon. Our towel laundry service keeps them fresh.

• Bath towels: a towel is AED 7. It is washed hot enough to clean it, then dried fully so it stays soft.
• Pool and gym towels: these pick up chlorine, sweat and sun cream, so they get an extra rinse.
• Bathrobes: a bathrobe is AED 19. It is dried slowly so the pile does not go flat.
• Sofa covers: a regular cover with a zip is AED 46. Check the label and tell us if it has a lining.
• Table cloths: a cloth is AED 19 and is returned folded flat.
• Gym towels: small hand towels dry fast and come back soft.

Tell us about any special towels, such as thin ones or ones with a sewn-in logo, and we will care for them as needed.

Towels from a guest room, a spare bathroom or the beach bag can all go together in one bag.

A few things are not suitable for a normal machine, and it is better to know before you pack.

Check the care label if you can.

• Memory foam: pillows and toppers made of foam can break up in the wash.
• Electric blankets: these should not go in a machine at all.
• Hand-wash only labels: if the label says so, we will not use the machine.
• Very large rugs and thick carpets: they belong in a different service, and we collect them separately.
• Delicate lace or silk bedspreads: these may need hand care, so please ask first.

A thick duvet holds a lot of water, and the filling takes time to dry right through. That is why duvets take longer than clothes.

• Slow drying: we dry a duvet in stages and stop to shake it so the filling does not clump. We then check the middle by hand before folding.
• Why it matters: damp filling smells musty within days, so we would rather take an extra day than send one back damp.
