Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in MBR City

Each MBR City bag goes through the same five steps, in the same order. It makes no difference whether the bag is half full from a flat or packed tight from a villa. We skip nothing, and nothing extra turns up on the bill.

• Sorted by hand: whites and pale linen make one pile; gym kit, jeans and other darks make the next. Anything stretchy, lacy or sheer is washed cold in a separate gentle load.
• Checked for stains: we look for sun cream on collars, grass on knees and sweat under the arms. Sweat sinks into cotton quickly in Dubai's humid summer, and dryer heat can fix it as a yellow stain.
• Washed with care: hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent goes in, and a thorough rinse leaves clothes smelling of clean cotton and nothing else.
• Dried gently: low heat protects the fit of T-shirts and keeps pyjama waistbands snug.
• Folded by hand: every piece is folded individually and given a last check, then packed for the drive back to MBR City.

Wash and fold clothes return flat and ready for the drawer. For kanduras and work shirts with a sharp crease, book Clean & Press.

1. Message us on WhatsApp. Send a location pin, your community and your villa or building number. Some MBR City communities are gated, and the details tell the driver which way in. If your gate wants a visitor pass, arrange it before your slot. There is no app to download.
2. Pack the bag. Everyday clothes only. Empty every pocket. A lip balm or crayon that melts in the dryer can stain the whole load. Write your name and villa or flat number on the bag.
3. Hand over the bag. The driver collects at your door, and you pay nothing for the pickup.
4. We do the washing. Sorting, a gentle wash, a low-heat dry and hand folding follow.
5. Home again. When the bag sets off for MBR City you get a WhatsApp message, and the delivery costs nothing.

Have shirts that belong on hangers? They go in a separate bag for Clean & Press. Put both jobs in one message, and a single stop collects both bags.

Here is a quick rule: anything you would put in your own machine can go in our bag. If the label says hand wash only or do not wash, keep that piece out. The usual contents of an MBR City bag are:

• Hot-season wear: T-shirts, vests and cotton shorts, plus light linen for the days when Dubai passes 43°C.
• Gym and track kit: running tops, leggings and sports socks, still fresh from the District One loop.
• Swimwear: swimsuits, rash vests and trunks. Rinse them and make sure they are completely dry before packing.
• Kids' wear: uniform polos and everyday play clothes. Do up the poppers on baby sleepsuits so they stay snug.
• Cooler-day layers: hoodies and thin jumpers for January, when Dubai afternoons are around 22°C.
• Loungewear: soft cotton sets, jogging bottoms, pyjamas and socks.

Pack the bag loosely rather than cramming it, because clothes wash better with room to move. Not sure about one piece? A quick photo of the label is enough for us to say which bag it goes in.

This bag is for everyday clothes only. Most other items can still leave your MBR City home on the same visit if you book them as another service.

• Suits, abayas, work shirts and crisp kanduras: book these as Clean & Press. They are priced per garment and come back hanging.
• Labels that say no water: silk, wool coats and beaded or sequinned pieces go to dry cleaning.
• Towels: they have per-item prices under Bed & Bath, so they do not belong in a wash and fold bag.
• Delicate bras and hand-wash knits: keep these at home, or message a photo of the label and ask first.
• Rugs, curtains and shoes: these have services of their own, shown on the cards above.

The result is mostly decided at the sorting table, before any machine runs. This is what happens to a bag from MBR City once it is emptied out.

• Colours apart. One red shirt in with white vests is enough to turn them pink, so whites never share a wash with colours.
• Heavy apart from light. Stiff denim and fleece make thin cotton bobble, so they are washed separately.
• One machine per household. Nobody else's washing shares the drum with yours, so no stranger's sock ends up in your bag.
• Sanitised after each wash. The drum is sanitised once your cycle ends and before anyone else's load goes in.
• The detergent. It is commercial-grade but biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Soap left in cotton can itch, and in a Dubai summer a T-shirt sits against hot skin for hours.
• Low heat. Hot dryers shrink cotton and ruin elastic, so ours stay cool. We check thick seams, cuffs and hoods by hand to confirm they are dry.
• Folded by hand. If a button is loose or a stain has survived the wash, we spot it at this stage and message you.

Our drivers cover homes across Dubai, and that includes every part of MBR City. Neither trip costs anything.

• District One: the driver collects from your villa or mansion door, or from your building if you live in the Residences. Give us the street or building number and a pin.
• Apartment buildings: the driver collects at your flat door. If your building has a front desk, tell us in the message and the bag can be left there. Give the building name and your flat number.
• Gates and passes: have a pass ready for the driver if your gate asks visitors for one.
• Neighbouring communities: Sobha Hartland, Meydan and Dubai Hills Estate sit inside or beside MBR City and have their own laundry pages. Pickup is free there too.
• Al Quoz: it borders District One, so the same rounds reach it.

Does your basket fill at a steady pace? For a household like that, a monthly plan is our budget-friendly wash and fold choice. We come on the same weekday without you rebooking, and each bag costs less than a single one.

• Essential: AED 250 a month for four bags, one a week. It suits one person or a couple.
• Family: AED 450 a month for eight bags, two a week, with room for uniforms, swimwear and pyjamas.
• Single bags: any week you need one, it is AED 65.

You choose the weekday. One WhatsApp message starts a plan.

Most bags collected in MBR City are back within 24 hours, the usual time across Dubai. Should your address need longer, the chat gives you the return day before you confirm.

Need a same-day laundry service? Ask for express laundry delivery, with the order placed before 2 PM. Where express reaches your address, you have the bag again 5 hours after collection. Send us your community first and we will check.

• Name the stain. Sun cream on a swimsuit strap, grass on football socks, paint on a school polo: tell us the cause and the spot.
• Tell us what you have tried. Bleach, a stain stick or vinegar all limit what we can safely do, so mention them.
• Mind the shamal. This summer wind carries sand across Dubai, and clothes hung outside collect grit. Shake them out, and never pack anything damp, because wet clothes in a closed bag turn sour in the heat.

Anywhere in MBR City, the price you see for a garment is the whole price. That holds for a shirt from a Sobha Hartland flat just as for a kandura from a District One villa. Stain treatment, the hanger and the cover cost nothing extra.

• Checked first: before any water, we empty the pockets, read the care label and go over seams and buttons, noting anything already loose.
• Stains treated by hand: warm water can set a mark, so we work on it before washing.
• Cleaned as the label says: cottons and blends go through cool water, so they stay the size they were. Labels that call for specialist cleaning get exactly that.
• Drying: filtered air instead of a tumble dryer, which helps a long dress or kandura hold its length.
• Steamed in order: collar, cuffs and button strip first, then the rest.
• Three checks: after the last one, each piece is covered for the drive back.

1. Send a short list. A line like "four shirts, a suit and two kanduras" on WhatsApp does the job. Add your community, your villa or building number and any crease you prefer.
2. Use two bags. Hanging clothes in one, folding clothes in the other, so nothing lands in the wrong service.
3. Free pickup. The driver collects at your door. Say in your message if your gate asks visitors for a pass.
4. One piece at a time. Each garment goes from cleaning all the way to steaming before the next one starts.
5. Back on hangers. It is back in 24 hours, as with most of Dubai, covered and ready to hang in your MBR City wardrobe.

Quick check: if it would wrinkle during a working day, it belongs in clean and press. For most MBR City households that covers:

• Work shirts: poplin, oxford and easy-care cotton in any sleeve length, with most of the effort going into the collar.
• Blouses and skirts: viscose, crepe de chine and fine cotton, all of which wrinkle easily.
• Suits and smart trousers: wool mixes and chinos. Jackets are steamed on a dummy so the shoulders keep their shape.
• Kanduras and thobes: white cotton or poly-cotton, steamed so the front falls in a straight line from the neck.
• Ghutras: pressed into a flat square, ready to fold your usual way.
• Abayas and jalabiyas: georgette and crepe are steamed only, since heat and pressure make black fabric shiny. A shayla can come too; ask for its price on WhatsApp.
• Kurta sets: the kurta and sirwal are handled together on one ticket.
• School shirts: send them before photo day, when a soft collar would show.

• Washed at home and only creased? Pressing takes the creases out with steam and does not wash the piece again.
• Beads, sequins, silk, lace or heavy wool? Choose dry cleaning, where solvent is kinder to these than water.
• Gym kit, swimwear, pyjamas or T-shirts? Those are folded and put in drawers, which makes Wash & Fold the better fit.

Unsure about one garment? Send a photo of its label on WhatsApp and we will pick the right service for it.

Look for the small pressing symbol on the care label. Three dots mean cotton or linen, which take about 200°C. Two dots mean about 150°C, right for silk, wool and polyester blends. A single dot, around 110°C, is for acrylic and some synthetics. A cross through the symbol means the piece only ever gets steam.

• No hot plate for dark crepe: black abayas and charcoal trousers would shine under direct heat, so they only get steam.
• Collars and cuffs: these are noticed first, so we give them proper time.
• Your creases: sharp, soft or none. Travelling soon? Ask for shirts folded flat to fit a suitcase, and the request stays on your ticket.
• Covers that breathe: Dubai summer humidity averages over 90%, and plastic traps that damp in the cloth. A breathable cover keeps dust off and lets air in.
• Buttons and beading: we steam around them, never over them, so nothing melts or marks the cloth.

Label worn too faint to read? Send a photo and we will advise before anything is steamed.

Collecting hanging clothes in MBR City is free, just like folded laundry. MBR City covers a wide area, so a few details in advance stop the driver taking a wrong turn.

• Community and number: send these with your map pin. Is a visitor pass needed at your gate? Have it sorted before we are due.
• A landmark helps: living near the Crystal Lagoon or off Al Meydan Road? Tell us.
• Two bags: hanging clothes and folding clothes in separate bags, so the driver can tell them apart at your door.

Standard clean and press takes up to 24 hours from collection for MBR City, like most of Dubai. Delicate fabric may take longer. It depends on the piece, and we point it out during booking.

Need a shirt tonight? Order express before 2 PM. If your address is covered, it is back on its hanger five hours after collection. Express depends on the exact address, so send us your community and building first and wait for a yes.

• Collar marks: a grey ring of sweat and body oil builds up on white collars and kandura necklines in hot weather. The sooner it reaches us, the more of it comes out.
• Deodorant: it leaves white streaks on dark cloth and yellow patches on pale cloth, and each needs its own treatment, so tell us which you see.
• Oud and fragrance oils: they leave a dark patch on light cotton. Show us where, and tell us which scent it was.
• Grease and sun cream: spots left on a polo or linen shirt after eating outside. Leave them alone rather than rubbing, and name them in your message.
• Special requests: need a loose button sewn, a no-crease finish, or shirts packed flat for a trip? Add it to your message and it goes on the ticket.

One price per piece covers the lot, from your door in MBR City and back again. For sheets and pillowcases this is our bed linen wash and fold, which is a full wash, a thorough dry and a tidy fold. Each one is counted, never weighed. A pillowcase and a king duvet receive the same attention; the pillowcase is just ready sooner.

• Checked by hand first: someone looks over seams and corners, and any mark you mentioned when booking.
• Big drums: a king duvet needs room to spread out. Crammed into a small drum, only the outside gets wet and the filling stays unwashed.
• Detergent: biodegradable and hypoallergenic, because you sleep with your face on the pillowcase for hours.
• Dried right through: a duvet stays in the dryer until the middle feels as dry as the edges, which we test by hand. Hanging a quilt on a balcony is out anyway, as Dubai's balcony rules ban airing laundry outside.
• Packed only when dry: no damp corner ever goes back to your home.

A duvet cover is charged separately, at AED 31, because it comes off and gets its own wash.

1. Make a list. "Two queen duvets, the guest-room sheets and all the towels" is enough. Add your community, the villa or building number and a pin.
2. Get a time. Our answer gives your pickup slot and the day it comes back.
3. Bag it up. Roll up each duvet and fasten it with string or a belt. Put sheets and towels in a second bag.
4. Free pickup. We collect from your door. Does your gate need a visitor pass? Arrange it in advance.
5. Follow your order. We keep sending WhatsApp updates until all of it is back with you.

Someone answers at any hour, so you can book as soon as the beds are stripped.

Duvets and comforters share one price, AED 56, at any size up to king. The difference is how we check each one.

• Duvet: loose filling in a plain case that you put inside a cover. We unbutton the cover and wash it on its own at its own price.
• Comforter: quilted in squares or channels, with a decorative top, and used without a cover. The filling dries unevenly between the stitched lines, so we run a hand along every row.
• Blanket: AED 26 for a standard size. Bigger ones cost more.
• Bedcover: AED 29. It lies on top of the bed and collects dust, including the fine sand a summer shamal pushes in through open doors. Mention fringes or beads if it has them.

Seam torn or filling showing? Send a photo first and we can judge whether it will survive a wash.

Sheets and pillowcases are washed most, so they wear thin first.

• Sheets: AED 25, flat or fitted. Turn fitted sheets inside out before packing, because earring backs and odd socks tend to hide in the elastic hems.
• Pillowcases: AED 9. Sun cream and after-sun leave greasy patches on cotton. Tell us where they are instead of scrubbing.
• Pillows: AED 19 each. Drape a pillow over your arm. If both ends drop limply, the filling has had its day. Memory foam is not washed.
• Mattress protectors: AED 35. A waterproof layer can crack with heat, so send a photo of the label first.

Soap trapped in the loops makes towels stiff. Ours get two rinses and a full dry. Each bath towel is AED 7 and each bathrobe AED 19.

• Pool and beach towels: a damp towel left in a bag overnight starts to smell musty, so send it the same day if you can.
• Bathrobes: the thick collar is the last part to dry, so we check it by hand before folding. Tie the belt loosely round the robe so the two stay together.
• Bath mats: cotton ones are no problem. Keep a mat with a perished rubber backing at home.
• Sofa covers: a regular removable cover is AED 46. Stick a numbered note on each cushion before you remove its cover, so covers and cushions get matched up again.
• Tablecloths: AED 19. After a dinner, let the stained cloth dry and tell us if it was wine, oil or gravy.

Keep damp towels away from the duvet in the bag, because in summer humidity the moisture soon reaches the filling.

A few items must never go in a washing machine. Please leave these out:

• Electric blankets or anything else with a heating element.
• Memory foam pillows, toppers and similar items.
• Weighted blankets that contain glass or plastic beads.
• Labels with a crossed-out washtub. Not sure about a label? Send a photo and we will answer before the van sets off.

Clothes are booked separately. Everyday T-shirts, jeans and sports kit go in a Wash & Fold bag. Anything that must come back hanging, such as shirts, kanduras and abayas, is Clean & Press. Duvet and comforter laundering is mostly a drying job. Whether the filling is down, feather or polyester, it stays wet inside long after the outer cover feels dry. A duvet stored with damp inside smells stale before long, even in a cool cupboard.

• Allow 48 to 72 hours for a duvet, comforter or any thick piece, counted from pickup.
• Your return date is confirmed in the same WhatsApp chat you booked in.
