Each bag from Dubai Hills goes through the same steps.

• Pockets first: coins, keys, tissues and pens all come out. A forgotten pen can mark everything in the drum.
• Sorted by colour: whites and light colours are washed together. Darks and jeans go in a separate load. Lace and mesh get a cooler wash.
• Stains first: we treat marks like coffee, sun cream and make-up before the wash. A stain that goes through the dryer may never come out.
• Gentle detergent: it's hypoallergenic and biodegradable. We rinse every load well, so clothes smell fresh, not scented.

2. Pack the bag. Everyday clothes only. Empty the pockets first, as a stray tissue leaves bits on everything. Put your name and home number on the bag.
3. Pickup. We collect from outside your front door at no cost. In an apartment building, the concierge can take it, if your building has one.
4. Cleaning. We sort, wash, dry and fold your clothes.
5. Delivery. We message you on WhatsApp when the driver sets off for Dubai Hills. Delivery is free as well.

Got work shirts as well? Pack them in their own bag for Clean & Press and mention them when you book. One driver picks up both bags.

A simple test: if it's safe in your washing machine at home, it's fine in our bag. Anything with a hand wash only or do not wash label stays out. A bag from a Dubai Hills home might hold:

• Sports clothes: cycling tops, golf polos, running shorts and socks.
• Everyday tops: T-shirts, vests and casual polos.
• Casual wear: hoodies, tracksuit bottoms and jeans. Dark denim keeps its colour better inside out.
• Light summer clothes: cotton dresses, linen tops and shorts. These get washed a lot in the hot, humid Dubai summer.

The bag only takes everyday clothes. We still clean the things below, at their own prices. Put them on the same booking, and one driver collects everything from your Dubai Hills home.

• Office shirts, suits, kanduras and abayas: book these under Clean & Press. Each one is priced separately and comes back on a hanger.
• Silk, wool, sequins and beadwork: send them for dry cleaning. Water is too harsh for them.
• Towels: bath, pool or gym, they go in Bed & Bath, priced per towel.
• Underwired bras and hand-wash knits: these are best washed at home. If a label confuses you, take a photo and send it over.
• Curtains, rugs and trainers: you'll find a separate service for each further up.

Every Dubai Hills load is sorted before washing. It only takes a few minutes, and it saves clothes from damage. We check for these things.

• Dye: bright cotton and new denim may bleed for their first few washes, so whites never go in with them.
• Heavy items: denim and metal zips can wear down thin fabrics, so we wash them apart.
• A machine just for you: nobody else's clothes share your machine.
• Clean drums: each drum is sanitised between loads.
• Detergent: commercial-grade, hypoallergenic and biodegradable. Sports kit gets a full rinse, because sweat collects in the seams.
• Low heat: high heat shrinks cotton and weakens elastic. We make sure cuffs, seams and waistbands are dry before folding, because damp seams start to smell.
• One last look: if a button is loose or a mark is still there, we tell you on WhatsApp before the bag comes back.

• Show us the stain: sun cream on a collar, grass on golf trousers, juice on a school shirt. Point each one out.
• Tell us what you tried: stain spray, bleach or hot water can set a mark. Mention it when you book.
• Dry damp kit first: in Dubai's heat, damp gym clothes in a closed bag soon smell. Hang them up for an hour first.

A shirt from Dubai Hills costs the listed price and nothing more. Stain treatment, the hanger and the cover are all part of it.

• Counted and checked: we match every piece to your list and read the care label. We note any loose buttons.
• Stains treated by hand: always before any heat, so marks don't set.
• Cleaned to suit the fabric: cotton shirts are washed cool so they don't shrink. Finer fabrics get the method their label gives.
• Air-dried: we don't tumble dry. Clothes hang in filtered air, so sleeves stay the right length.
• Steamed in order: collar and cuffs first, then the body and sleeves.
• Checked three times before a cover goes on and it's brought back to your Dubai Hills home.

1. Make a list. For example, "four office shirts, one suit and two kanduras". Add your project name and home number, and whether you want sharp or soft creases.
2. Pack two bags. Hanging clothes in one, folded washing in the other.
3. We pick up free. Leave the bags outside your front door, or with the concierge if your building has one.
4. Piece by piece. We finish each item before starting the next.

If a piece looks better hung than folded, send it for clean and press. From a Dubai Hills wardrobe, that could be:

• Work shirts: poplin, oxford or twill cotton. The collar is always done first.
• Linen shirts and trousers: they crease fast, and steam smooths them out.
• Blouses and skirts: crepe and viscose crumple in a drawer, so they're returned on hangers.
• Suits and chinos: often wool or cotton blends. We steam jackets on a dummy to keep the lapels flat.
• Kanduras and thobes: often white cotton or a blend. We steam the front panel smooth.
• Ghutras: smoothed flat on a table, ready for you to fold your own way.

• Kurta sets: the top and trousers are kept together.

• Already clean but creased? Pressing takes out the creases without washing again.
• Silk, lace, thick wool, beading or sequins? Book dry cleaning for these instead of a wash.
• Just T-shirts, gym kit, socks and pyjamas? Put them in a Wash & Fold bag.

The heat symbol on a care label has one, two or three dots. The dots give the top heat for that fabric. We always keep our steamer below it. Three dots allows up to about 200°C, fine for cotton and linen. Two dots means around 150°C, for wool, silk and polyester mixes. One dot is about 110°C, for synthetics such as acrylic. If the symbol is crossed out, we use steam only, with no plate.

• Steam only on dark crepe: a hot plate can leave a shine on black fabric. Black abayas and dark trousers are steamed instead.
• More care on collars and cuffs: they're what people notice first.
• We remember your crease: sharp, soft, none, or folded flat for travel. It's saved for your next order.
• Covers that breathe: Dubai summers are humid. Plastic holds in damp, but our covers let it escape on the drive back to Dubai Hills.

Hanging clothes are collected free anywhere in Dubai Hills, just like every other service.

Hanging clothes from Dubai Hills usually come back the next day. We aim for 24 hours, as we do across most of Dubai. Delicate fabrics can take longer, depending on the piece. We'll tell you the time at pickup if anything needs it.

When you book a Dubai Hills pickup, tell us about any of these.

• Food and drink: coffee, tea, sauce or wine. Say what it was.
• Make-up: foundation and lipstick on collars. Point out the spot.
• Sweat: in Dubai's summer heat, sweat yellows white collars and kandura necklines. Fresh marks are easier to treat.
• Deodorant: it leaves white marks on dark clothes and yellow ones on light clothes. We treat the two in different ways.
• Perfume oil and oud: a small drop can stain white or cream cotton. Show us where it is, and name the oil if you know it.

For each item, the price pays for pickup from your Dubai Hills home, cleaning and delivery. Our bed linen wash and fold sends sheets and pillowcases home dry and neatly folded. Pillowcases are cleaned with the same care as duvets. They simply dry far sooner.

• A first look: we go over the seams and corners, and find the stains you mentioned.
• Its own clean machine: your bedding is washed alone. With room to tumble, the water soaks right through a duvet.
• Gentle detergent: hypoallergenic and biodegradable. You sleep with your face on a pillowcase, so this matters.
• Dry all the way through: the cover dries long before the filling. We check the filling by hand, not by the clock.
• Never packed damp: everything is folded, bagged and brought back to Dubai Hills dry.

A duvet cover is AED 31. We take it off and wash it on its own, so each one gets the cycle it needs.

1. List what's going. For example, "two queen duvets, four pillows and six bath towels". Include your project, home number and a location pin.
2. We confirm: you'll get a pickup time and a return day.
3. Pack it. Roll each duvet into a bag of its own. Put sheets and towels together in a second one.
4. Free pickup. We collect from outside your front door, or from the concierge if your building has one.
5. WhatsApp updates. We keep you in the loop until everything is back.

WhatsApp us whenever suits you. If guests are due, book a day ahead so the spare bed has clean sheets.

Any duvet or comforter from Dubai Hills, single to king, is AED 56. They aren't all cleaned the same way.

• Duvet: the filled inner part that sits inside a cover. The cover is priced on its own and washed apart.
• Comforter: quilted with stitching and used without a cover. The quilted sections dry at different speeds, so we check each one before packing.
• Blanket: AED 26 for a standard size. Bigger blankets cost more.
• Bedcover: AED 29. It sits on top of the bed and gathers the most dust. In Dubai, shamal winds blow fine sand about, and some reaches the bed. Let us know about any tassels, fringe or beads.

Torn seam or filling poking out? Send a photo on WhatsApp first, and we'll say whether it can be washed safely.

In the Dubai heat, sheets and pillowcases from Dubai Hills homes get washed far more often than duvets. So they're usually the first to wear thin.

• Sheets: AED 25, fitted or flat. Check the corners of fitted sheets, where socks and earrings like to hide.
• Pillowcases: AED 9. Face cream, make-up and hair oil can leave oily patches. Don't scrub them. Just tell us where they are.
• Pillows: AED 19 each. Washing won't fix a flat, lumpy pillow. Memory foam can't be washed in water.
• Mattress protectors: AED 35. The waterproof backing doesn't like high heat. Please send a photo of the care label first.

Bedding from several rooms? Label each set with its room, so the beds are easy to make up again.

Each towel is AED 7 and each bathrobe AED 19. Leftover soap in the loops is what makes towels stiff, so we rinse every towel twice and dry it fully.

• Bath and pool towels: book them soon after use. A wet towel shut in a bag smells by morning.
• Gym towels: they hold sweat and stay damp. Let them dry out before they go in the bag.
• Bathrobes: the thick collar dries last, so we check it twice. Tie the belt around the robe so they don't get split up.
• Sofa covers: AED 46 for a regular zip-off cover. Mark which cushion each came from, and brush off any pet hair.
• Tablecloths: AED 19. Say what the spill was, for example wine or coffee. Rubbing spreads it.

Never bag a wet towel with a duvet. In Dubai's humid air, the filling picks up moisture fast.

These can't go in a washing machine, so leave them out of your Dubai Hills bedding bag:

• Electric blankets, heated throws and anything with a cable or plug.
• Weighted blankets, which are filled with heavy beads.
• Memory foam pillows and mattress toppers.
• Anything marked do not wash. If you're unsure, send a photo of the label and we'll answer before pickup.

With duvet and comforter laundering, most of the time goes on drying. A cover is dry in no time. Feather, down and polyester fillings take hours. Any damp left in the middle turns musty once the duvet is stored.

• 48 to 72 hours: that's how long we keep thick bedding from Dubai Hills, so the centre gets as dry as the edges.
