Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Cheval Maison Expo City

Six kilos is more than most guests expect. It holds around a week of T-shirts, underwear, socks, gym kit and swimwear for one person on holiday, and a little more if you fold well. Here is what usually goes in.

• Everyday clothes: T-shirts, jeans, shorts, pyjamas and the casual shirts you wear between meetings.
• Gym and pool kit: sports tops, leggings, swimwear and cover-ups, washed in hypoallergenic detergent.
• Towels you brought: a beach towel or gym towel is fine. Hotel towels and robes stay in the room, so please leave them there.

A long trip may need the 12kg bag. If you are unsure, send a photo of what you have and we will say which bag fits, so you do not pay for a size you do not need.

We do not wash everything in one drum. Your bag is sorted by colour and fabric before a single piece goes in, because that is the only way to keep whites white and darks dark.

• Pockets first: anything left in a pocket comes out. A single pen can mark a whole load.
• Colours apart: whites and lights in one load, darks and denim in another, and lace in cooler water.
• Marks by hand: sun cream, coffee and sweat are treated before the wash, because a hot dryer can set a stain for good.
• A gentle detergent: hypoallergenic and biodegradable, used in commercial-grade machines that finish a full bag in one go.

Clothes are dried on low heat so they keep their size and feel, then folded by hand. Everything is packed in a clean bag, so it travels easily and can go straight into a suitcase.

• Low heat only: cotton stays soft, and nothing shrinks in the dryer.
• Folded by hand: shirts and T-shirts come back neat and flat, ready to pack.
• Back at the lobby: the driver brings your bag to the same place you handed it over, or to the spot we agreed on WhatsApp.

Tell us if you want something kept out of the dryer and we will air dry it.

Some pieces do better as single items than in a bag, and we will tell you if we think so. Here is how to choose.

• Shirts, blouses and suits: send them to Clean & Press and they come back on hangers.
• Kanduras and abayas: also Clean & Press, one piece at a time.
• Already clean but creased: pressing only, without a wash, is available for single pieces.

You can mix both in one pickup. Put the bag and the hanging pieces in the same handover, tell the driver which is which, and you get one delivery back with everything in it.

A little care when you pack keeps the order simple and the check at the lobby quick for both of us.

• One bag, closed: use a plain laundry bag or a tied carrier from your luggage.
• Empty the pockets: passes, keys, coins and cards come out first.
• Tell us about marks: a note on WhatsApp about a stain or a delicate piece helps us choose the wash.
• Keep valuables out: watches, jewellery and anything you cannot replace stay with you.

The driver counts the items with you and checks the condition before payment, so you both know what went out.

The normal turnaround for a bag is 24 hours, which makes it a next-day laundry service for most orders. If you need clothes sooner, express laundry delivery is possible.

• Standard: back within 24 hours.
• Express: about 5 hours if you book before 2 PM, if your address is covered.
• We check first: we look at your pin before promising an express time, and we tell you straight away if it is outside the area.

For a flight, plan a day ahead where you can. A late booking leaves less room if there is a delay.

If you stay in Dubai often, or live nearby for a few weeks, a plan gives you one monthly payment and a pickup day you choose. It also keeps your price steady from one week to the next.

• Essential: one 6kg bag a week, four a month, for AED 250 a month.
• Family: two bags a week, eight a month, for AED 450 a month.
• One-off bag: AED 65 whenever you need it, with no sign-up.

You never pay in the lobby. After the driver checks your items, we text you a secure link, and your clothes go out for delivery once you have paid. Here is the short version of how it works.

• Pay by link: debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
• No cash or cards at the door: nothing changes hands at the hotel.
• Cover: loss or damage is covered up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.
• Existing damage: items already damaged, or with no care label, are cleaned at the owner's risk.

If you have a piece you are worried about, tell us before pickup and we note it on your order.

Clean & Press is for single pieces that should come back looking sharp on a hanger, not folded in a bag. Every piece is priced on its own, and you can see each price in the table above before you book.

• Work wear: shirts, blouses, trousers, skirts and suits for meetings and conferences.
• Evening wear: plain and formal dresses, and silk pieces for dinners and weddings.
• Traditional wear: kanduras, ghutras, abayas, jalabiyas and kurtas.

Send them with a wash and fold bag in the same pickup if you like.

A shirt is cleaned, steamed by hand and returned on a hanger, so you can put it straight on. The price is AED 18 each, whether it is a long or short sleeve.

Book before 2 PM and express is possible, if your address is covered. That is useful when the shirt is for a morning meeting and the day before is full of other plans.

It comes back in a breathable bag.

A suit is not a bag item. It gets its own process, chosen from the care label, and it comes back on a hanger in a breathable bag. Guests often send one for a wedding, a gala or a client dinner.

• Two-piece suits: the jacket and trousers come back on hangers together, so the set stays a set.
• Ties and silk: handled by hand, with marks treated first.
• Evening dresses: sequins and lace are dry cleaned one at a time.

Tell us the date of the event or the flight and we will plan around it. If it is needed sooner, ask for express and we check your pin.

Each traditional piece is cleaned on its own and returned on a hanger in a breathable bag. The kandura is AED 15, priced separately from a shirt.

An abaya is basic or delicate depending on its fabric and decoration. Tell us which when you book, and we confirm the price before cleaning. Ghutras, jalabiyas and kurtas are priced per piece in the table above.

We follow the care label, not one routine for everything. That is what keeps a good shirt or a silk blouse in shape from one wear to the next.

• Cool-water wash or dry clean: chosen from the label, the fibre and the colour.
• Filtered-air drying: keeps the fabric from stiffening.
• Steamed by hand: each piece gets its crease or its drape back.
• Three checks: on arrival, after cleaning and before it leaves us.

Then it goes on a hanger and into a breathable bag for the trip back to the hotel.

We read the care label before we choose how to clean a piece. If a piece has no label, or is already damaged, it is cleaned at the owner's risk. That is why we ask you to tell us about anything you are unsure of.

Tell us about any mark and what caused it, such as coffee, oil or make-up. We treat it by hand first, and we say if it may not lift fully.

The standard time for Clean & Press is 24 hours. Delicate pieces can take longer, because they need slower handling and more checks. How long depends on the piece, and we tell you when we collect it.

For something urgent, express is about 5 hours when you book before 2 PM and your address is covered. We check your pin first and tell you straight away if it is outside the express area.
