Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Courtyard Al Barsha

Every bag from the hotel goes through the same steps, whether it holds two shirts or a week of clothes.

• Pockets emptied: we look for coins, pens, receipts and key cards. A single pen can mark a whole load.
• Colours apart: whites and pale colours are washed together, and darks are washed separately. Fine lace and mesh get a cooler cycle.
• Stains first: coffee, food and sweat are treated before the wash, because heat can fix a mark in place.
• A mild wash: our biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent does the work, then everything is dried and folded.

1. Send a WhatsApp. Tell us the hotel name, Courtyard by Marriott Al Barsha, Dubai, and the time you would like the pickup.
2. Hand over the bag. At the lobby or concierge, if the hotel allows it, the driver goes through the bag with you.
3. Pay by link. A secure link arrives by text. Use a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, with no cash needed in the lobby.
4. Get it back. Your clothes are delivered after payment, normally within 24 hours.

A simple test: if a home washing machine can take it, our bag can too. Leave out anything labelled hand wash only or dry clean only. Those go to Clean & Press.

• Good for the bag: T-shirts, polo shirts, shorts, trousers, underwear, socks, pyjamas, gym kit and swimwear.
• Weight: our flat-rate laundry bags hold up to 6kg. A larger 12kg bag is available for a longer stay.
• Not in the bag: suits, silk, wool and anything with a dry clean label.

The bag is for everyday clothes. We still clean the pieces below, but each one is priced on its own. Book them in the same message.

• Suits, jackets and ties: these go to Clean & Press, so they are steamed and returned on hangers.
• Kanduras and abayas: also Clean & Press, since they look best when they are hung, not folded.
• Evening dresses: these are priced piece by piece, and beading or sequins should be mentioned.
• Shoes and bags: ask us about shoe care and bag care.

Each load from a hotel guest is sorted before it goes near a washer or a dryer. This is what we do.

• Check: every piece is looked at for stains, tears and loose trims. Anything that needs care is set aside.
• Sort: whites, colours and darks are separated. Sportswear and swimwear are washed on a cooler setting.
• Wash: a hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent goes in with a mild scent. Your clothes are washed alone, never with another customer's.
• Dry: low heat, so cotton does not shrink and stretch fabrics keep their shape.
• Fold: everything is folded and returned together, so it goes straight back into your suitcase.

We collect from Courtyard Al Barsha on Al Barsha Road, behind Mall of the Emirates. Neither pickup nor delivery is charged.

• Where: at the lobby or with the concierge, where the hotel permits. Ask at the front desk when you check in.
• When: tell us a time on WhatsApp. If you are out until evening, choose an evening slot.
• Who: our own driver. The driver checks the items with you and then a payment link is sent to your phone.
• Doorstep: our doorstep laundry pickup also covers the flats and villas nearby. Pay by link and it is contactless pickup and delivery. It is not a hotel service, since LPlaundry is independent of the hotel and its group.

Staying a month or more, or living nearby? A monthly plan is the budget-friendly wash and fold choice. The driver comes on the same weekday each week, so you never need to rebook.

• Essential: AED 250 a month for one bag a week.
• Family: AED 450 a month for two bags a week.
• Single bag: no sign-up needed, so book whenever you like.

Our next-day laundry service brings most bags back within 24 hours. If you are leaving soon, tell us your check-out day when you book, and we will plan around it.

• Express: 5 hours if booked before 2 PM, and if your address is covered. For same-day laundry, book early. No express fee is added.
• Fresh stain: do not rub it. Dab with a tissue and point it out to the driver.
• Sunscreen and food: tell us what it was. A greasy mark and a coffee mark are not treated the same way.
• Sweat on white: mention it, so we can treat it before washing.

The quicker we know, the better the result.

For a shirt from the hotel, the listed price is the full price. Stain work and the hanger cost nothing extra.

• Cleaning: done to the care label, with the right wash or dry clean method for the fabric.
• Steaming: by hand, one piece at a time, so a shirt looks crisp and a suit holds its shape.
• Return: on a hanger, ready to wear or to hang in the wardrobe in your room.
• Delivery: free to the hotel lobby or concierge, if the hotel allows it.

You pay through a secure link sent by text once the driver has checked the pieces.

3. Hand over at the lobby. The driver checks each piece with you.

A quick question: does the piece need to look sharp for something coming up? If yes, send it to Clean & Press. For a guest at Courtyard Al Barsha, these are the usual pieces.

• Business shirts and blouses: crisp for a morning meeting, and back on hangers.
• Suits and jackets: creased from the case, so they need steaming.
• Kanduras, ghutras and jalabiyas: best returned flat and on a hanger for an event.
• Abayas: the basic and delicate kinds have different prices, so say which you have.
• Evening dresses and coats: priced piece by piece. Mention beading or heavy embroidery when you book.

• Already clean, just creased? Pressing only steams out the creases without a full clean.
• Everyday wear? A wash and fold bag costs less than a price per piece.
• Shoes or a handbag? Ask us on WhatsApp about shoe and bag care.

The heat symbol on a care label carries one, two or three dots, and our steamer never goes hotter than the label allows. This matters in a suitcase, where pieces get packed together and labels often get folded out of sight.

• One dot: low heat, for silk, some synthetics and delicate fabrics.
• Two dots: medium heat, for wool blends and many polyester pieces.
• Three dots: high heat, for cotton and linen.
• No label: we cannot be sure of the fabric. These pieces are cleaned at the owner's risk, so tell us on WhatsApp if a piece has no label.

Hanging clothes are collected free at the Courtyard Al Barsha lobby or concierge, if the hotel allows it.

• Tell us: how many pieces, and when you need them.
• Bring: them on hangers if you can.
• Pay: by secure link, after the driver checks the pieces.

Pieces collected from the hotel are normally back in 24 hours, delicates in 48. For express suit pressing, book before 2 PM and we aim for 5 hours, if your address is covered. No express fee is added.

• Tell us: the time you need the piece.
• We confirm: yes or no, in the chat.
