Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Emirates Stars Hotel Apartments

Wash and fold is the everyday side of our hotel laundry service. There are no hangers and no pressing, only clean clothes, dried right through and folded so they go straight into a suitcase or wardrobe.

• Checked at the start. The bag is emptied onto a table and every pocket is checked. Coins, receipts and cards come out before any water goes in.
• Sorted into loads. Whites and pale colours go together, then mid tones, then dark cotton and denim. Thin or stretchy pieces get a gentler cycle.
• Washed with care. We use a hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent that rinses out clean and leaves only a faint smell.
• Dried low. Gentle heat keeps cotton from shrinking and keeps gym kit stretchy.
• Folded and packed. Your things are folded flat and come back together in one bag, ready to unpack in your room.

Your load goes into a drum of its own, so it is never mixed with anyone else's clothes.

If it is cotton, jersey, denim or a synthetic sports fabric with a machine-wash label, it can go in the bag. Everything is washed, dried and folded, never pressed, so expect a few soft creases on arrival.

• Good for the bag: T-shirts, polo shirts, jeans, shorts, pyjamas, socks, underwear, swimwear and gym kit.
• Better in Clean & Press: work shirts, suits, kanduras, abayas and anything you want crisp on a hanger.
• Leave out: silk, lace, wet items and anything with a hand-wash label. Tell us if you are unsure, and we will say which tab suits it.

Hotel towels and robes stay in the room, so keep them out of your bag.

You do not need a special bag. Any bag that closes and stays under 6kg counts as one, whether it is a carrier bag or the one from your wardrobe.

• Check every pocket. Pens, coins and room cards are easy to forget.
• Turn gym kit and dark jeans inside out. The colour on the outside lasts longer.
• Keep damp swimwear apart. Rinse it first, then bag it separately so it does not leave a smell on the rest.
• Write your room number on a note inside the bag, so your order never gets mixed up.

Hand it over at the lobby or concierge desk, if the hotel allows it, and the driver checks the contents with you.

Colour and weight decide the load, not the size of the pile. That is why a new dark T-shirt does not leave a grey cast on your white shirts.

• Lights, mid tones and darks are washed in separate loads every time.
• Fine and stretchy items, like thin tops and leggings, are set apart and washed more gently.
• Low-heat drying protects cotton from shrinking and keeps elastic working.
• Heavy items like jeans and hoodies dry last, so the thick seams are fully dry before folding.

If something should never go near heat, tell us when you book, and we will keep it aside and say how we will handle it.

Wash and fold is the simplest price on this page. You pay for the bag, not for each T-shirt, and the price is the one shown above before you book. It makes this an affordable laundry service for guests on a budget, and a best price laundry service for anyone sending a full week of washing at once.

• One bag of up to 6kg is one flat price. A larger bag of up to 12kg is a bigger flat price, and both are flat-rate laundry bags.
• Pickup and delivery are free, so the price shown is the price you pay.
• A small minimum order applies to every booking, so a single sock will not travel on its own.
• Contactless pickup and delivery is available at the hotel, with no weighing surcharge.

Pressed items are priced one by one, in the Clean & Press tab, so you can see your laundry price per item before anything is cleaned.

Weight is easier to judge than it sounds. Six kilos is roughly a week of clothes for one person who is not using the gym every day.

• One guest on a work trip: the 6kg bag is plenty for a week.
• A couple on holiday: one 6kg bag for a few days, or the larger bag of up to 12kg for a week or more.
• A family sharing an apartment: the larger bag holds more, and children's clothes pile up fast.

If your pile is somewhere in between, send a photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you which size suits it. If you go over the weight, we tell you before anything is washed.

Many guests at hotel apartments stay longer than a week, especially families and people on work contracts. If you plan to send a bag every week, a monthly plan is better value than paying bag by bag.

• Essential, AED 250 a month: one 6kg bag every week, so four bags a month.
• Family, AED 450 a month: two bags every week, so eight bags a month.
• One-off bag, AED 65: best for a short trip or a first try.

Tell us your pickup day when you book, and we collect from the hotel on that day every week. Pickup and delivery are free on every plan.

The Dubai side of Al Nahda is split into Al Nahda 1 and 2, with Sharjah just over the northern border. Emirates Stars Hotel Apartments is on Amman Street in Al Nahda 2, so a map pin keeps the driver on the right side of that line.

• At the lobby or concierge desk, if the hotel allows it. Put your room number on the tag, and tell us if a colleague will hand over the bag for you.
• Back in 24 hours. That is the standard return, not a paid extra, so same-day hotel laundry needs the express option.
• Express in 5 hours when you book before 2 PM and your address is covered. Ask on WhatsApp before you count on it.
• Payment by secure link. After the driver checks the items, we text you a link, and your clothes go out for delivery once you have paid.

Clean and press is for clothes that need more than a machine wash. Each piece is looked at, cleaned in the way its fabric needs, steamed by hand and returned on a hanger or folded flat.

• Stains are checked by hand before the piece goes into the cleaning process.
• A cool wash is used, which helps stop shrinking and fading.
• Steam finishing gives sharp collars, flat cuffs and clear pleats.
• A final check happens before the piece is packed in a breathable cover.

It suits guests who packed a suit for a meeting, a dress for a dinner, or just want their shirts ready for the week.

A good shirt can make the difference at a first meeting. Send it the day before and it returns on a hanger, with the collar flat and the cuffs crisp, so you can walk straight from the room to the conference.

• Tell us about marks on the collar and cuffs, where sweat and perfume show first.
• Send several together if you have a week of meetings, so they come back as a set.
• Book express if the meeting is today and your address is covered.

For a wedding, a dinner or a conference, send the whole outfit together so everything is ready at once. Express suit pressing is the quickest option when time is short.

• Suits: the jacket and trousers are cleaned together, so the colour stays matched, then steamed and hung with the shoulders kept in shape.
• Ties and blouses: delicate fabrics such as silk are cleaned gently and pressed on a lower heat.
• Evening dresses: priced on their own because fabric and decoration vary. Tell us about beading or sequins before pickup.
• Coats: heavy items are cleaned and pressed, then returned hanging.

Everything comes back covered and on a hanger, so it can go straight into the wardrobe in your room.

Kanduras, ghutras, abayas and jalabiyas are cleaned and pressed one at a time and come back on hangers. Pale fabrics show marks fast, so point out any stain at pickup. A plain abaya has one price, and a delicate or beaded one has another, so tell us which you are sending. Guests often send these before a family visit or Friday prayers.

The care label tells us how a fabric should be treated, so we read it before cleaning starts. A piece with a clear label gets the process it asks for.

• Silk and wool are cleaned gently and pressed on a lower heat.
• Cotton and linen can take more heat, and linen will still crease a little.
• Perfume, sweat and food marks are treated by hand first. Tell us what caused the stain and how old it is.
• Anything delicate is handled on its own, never in a mixed load.

If a mark might not come out completely, we say so, rather than promise too much. Items with no label are cleaned at the owner's risk.

Standard return is 24 hours. For express suit pressing, book before 2 PM and check that your address is covered. Your order then returns in 5 hours, which suits a suit needed for tonight. Message us on WhatsApp with your room number and the time you need it, and we confirm before the driver sets out. Delicate items can take longer, and we tell you so at booking.

After the driver checks your items with you, we text you a secure payment link. You can pay with a debit card, a credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Nothing is paid in the lobby, and no cash or cards change hands there. Your clothes go out for delivery once you have paid, so pay the link promptly if you are in a hurry. Prices are per item, so what you see is what you pay.

If an item is lost or damaged while it is with us, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item. This applies to every order, whatever the size.

• Care label missing? Items with no label are cleaned at the owner's risk.
• Already damaged? Items that are already damaged are also cleaned at the owner's risk.
• Check your pockets, and tell the driver about anything fragile or special before handing it over.
