Any street in Al Twar pays the usual Dubai price per bag. Anything that should hang, such as work shirts and abayas, goes through Clean & Press.
What we do with your bag
All bags get the same routine, full or half empty. We don't hurry any of them.
- Pockets first: coins, tissues, receipts and lip balm come out. A forgotten pen can ruin a whole load.
- Colours apart: whites and pale items go together, dark leggings and navy sports tops go together, and lace and mesh get a cooler, gentler wash.
- Stains before the wash: sun cream, sweat and food marks are treated first, since dryer heat can lock them in.
- Washing: biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent and a full rinse. Clothes smell clean, not perfumed.
- Low-heat drying: cotton holds its size and waistbands stay stretchy.
- Folding: by hand, with a last look at every piece before the bag goes back to Al Twar.
Folded clothes suit a drawer. If a shirt or kandura needs to hang, send it through Clean & Press.
How to book a bag pickup in Al Twar
- WhatsApp us. Give your villa address, a location pin and which part of Al Twar you live in, 1 to 5. You don't need an app.
- Fill the bag. Everyday clothes only. Empty the pockets, because a loose tissue ends up on everything. Put your name and street on the bag.
- Leave it out. Put it outside your front door or at the gate. The pickup costs nothing.
- We clean it. It is sorted, washed gently, dried cool and folded by hand.
- It comes home. A WhatsApp message tells you when the van heads to Al Twar. Delivery costs nothing either.
Got shirts that should hang? Pack them in a second bag, tell us in the chat and book Clean & Press. The same driver takes both.
What can go in the bag
If it would be fine in your own washing machine, it is fine in ours. Items marked hand wash or do not wash should stay home. A bag from an Al Twar villa can hold:
- Sports kit: T-shirts, shorts, leggings and socks from training or a match.
- Outdoor clothes: shorts, tops and play clothes with grass or dust on them.
- Swimwear: costumes, trunks and rash vests. Rinse them and let them dry a little first.
- Summer wear: cotton dresses, linen shirts and light trousers, which Dubai's heat sends to the wash often.
- Kids' clothes: school uniform and pyjamas, with the zips closed.
- Winter layers: thin jumpers and hoodies for the cooler months.
Items for a different service
The bag is only for everyday clothes. We clean the items below too, at their own prices, and the same driver can take them from your Al Twar villa on one visit.
- Work shirts, suits, kanduras and abayas: these are priced per piece under Clean & Press and come back on hangers.
- Silk, wool, sequins and beads: water harms these, so use dry cleaning instead.
- Bath and pool towels: Bed & Bath, with a price per towel.
- Hand-wash knits and underwired bras: keep these at home. If you are unsure about something, WhatsApp a photo of the label.
- Trainers, rugs and curtains: each has a service card near the top of the page.
Sorting, washing and drying
Washing well begins with sorting. Here is what each Al Twar load gets.
- Colour: new jeans and bright tops can bleed for their first few washes, so they stay away from whites.
- Weight: thick denim and metal zips rub fine fabric. Heavy things and light things are washed apart.
- A machine to yourself: nobody else's clothes go in with yours.
- Sanitised drum: the machine is cleaned after your load and before the next order.
- Detergent: commercial-grade, biodegradable and hypoallergenic, and rinsed well. Soap left in a top can itch on a humid day.
- Gentle heat: too much heat shrinks cotton and tires elastic. Seams, cuffs and waistbands are checked by hand for damp before folding.
- A final look: if a button is loose or a mark stayed, we tell you on WhatsApp.
Where we collect in and around Al Twar
We collect from every street in Al Twar as part of our Dubai-wide service, and pickup and delivery are always free.
- All five parts: Al Twar 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Give us your street and villa number, plus the part you live in.
- Handover: outside your front door, or at the gate if there is one.
- Position: Al Twar sits between Al Nahda Road and Abu Hail Road, with the airport on its southern side. Al Qiyadah metro station is on Al Ittihad Road, in Al Twar First.
- Neighbours: collection is free in Al Qusais, Hor Al Anz and Muhaisnah too.
Not sure your street is covered? Send a pin or check the areas page.
Weekly plans for Al Twar villas
Send a bag most weeks? A monthly plan is the budget-friendly wash and fold option. Each week's visit falls on one fixed weekday, so there's nothing to rebook, and each plan bag costs less than a single one.
- Essential: four bags a month, one per week, at AED 250. A fit for one adult or a couple.
- Family: eight bags a month, two per week, at AED 450. Enough for uniforms, sports kit and swimwear.
- Pay as you go: AED 65 a bag, whenever you want one.
Pick a weekday and we visit your Al Twar villa on that day every week. Set it up on WhatsApp whenever you like.
Turnaround, express and stains
Orders collected in Al Twar normally return within 24 hours, which is the standard across most of Dubai.
Our same-day laundry service is express laundry delivery, booked before 2 PM. If your address sits inside the express area, the bag is home five hours after collection. Some addresses aren't covered, so ask us first in the chat.
- Name the stain: sun cream by a neckline, tea on a white top, a sauce drip on a school shirt. Tell us what it is and show where.
- Mention what you tried: bleach, hot water or a stain spray can lock a mark in, so let us know.
- Dry before packing: a damp swimsuit or sweaty top sealed in a bag will smell by morning, so air it indoors first.
Shirts and kanduras from Al Twar, ready to hang
Some garments look wrong when folded. For those we offer a clean and press laundry service in Al Twar: shirts for the office, suit trousers, kanduras, abayas and light dresses. The care label on each piece decides how it is cleaned. It is then steamed by hand and hung up. A shirt costs AED 18 and a kandura AED 15. Collection anywhere in Al Twar is free, and the usual return is within 24 hours.

- A fixed price for every garment
- Each piece steamed by hand

What the price includes
For a shirt from your Al Twar villa, the price you see is all you pay. The stain work, hanger and cover are part of it.
- To begin: we empty the pockets, read the care label and note any loose button.
- Stains: treated by hand before washing, because warm water can set a mark.
- Cleaning: cotton and blends go in a cool wash to avoid shrinking. Anything needing specialist cleaning goes to a specialist.
- Drying: on hangers in filtered air, not a tumble dryer, so the sleeves stay the right length.
- Steaming: collar and cuffs, then the button band, then the back and sleeves.
- Finishing: three checks, a cover, and the trip back to Al Twar.
Sending work clothes from Al Twar
- List what you have. "One suit, two kanduras, five shirts" is plenty. Add your Al Twar address and the creases you like.
- Two bags. One for hanging clothes and one for folded washing, so each gets the right service.
- Free collection. Outside your front door or at the gate.
- One piece at a time. Each garment is finished before the next begins.
- Back on hangers. Normally the next day, covered and ready to hang up.
Which Al Twar clothes suit clean and press
A simple check: does it crumple when you sit at a desk? If yes, it belongs here. That usually covers:
- Work shirts: poplin, twill and oxford cotton, starting at the collar.
- Blouses and skirts: thin viscose, crepe and light cotton wrinkle quickly and hang better.
- Suits and chinos: wool or cotton blends. Jackets go on a shoulder-shaped form while steaming so the lapels lie flat.
- Kanduras and thobes: white cotton or poly-cotton, steamed until the front falls straight.
- Ghutras: smoothed out flat, ready for you to fold as you like.
- Abayas and jalabiyas: thin georgette and crepe are only steamed, which stops black cloth looking shiny. For a shayla, ask us the price on WhatsApp.
- Kurta sets: the top and trousers share one ticket.
- School shirts: send them before picture day for sharp collars.
Other services that might suit better
- Washed it yourself but it's creased? Pressing smooths it without another wash.
- Silk, lace, beading, sequins or heavy wool? Dry cleaning treats them more kindly than water.
- T-shirts, socks, pyjamas, gym shorts? These live in a drawer, so send them in a bag with Wash & Fold.
Not sure about something? WhatsApp a photo of the label. We'll answer long before the driver reaches Al Twar.
Reading the heat dots on a label
Care labels carry one, two or three dots for heat. We set our steamer to match and go no hotter. Three dots, for cotton and linen, means about 200°C. Two dots, for wool, silk and polyester blends, means about 150°C. One dot, for acrylic and other synthetics, means about 110°C. A crossed-out symbol means steam only.
- Dark crepe: pressing plates can leave shiny marks, which is why black abayas and dark trousers get steam alone.
- Collars and cuffs: they get more time because they are the first thing people notice.
- Your crease: sharp, soft, none, or flat for packing. We note it on your ticket and you only say it once.
- Breathable covers: Dubai summers are humid, and plastic keeps damp against cloth. Our covers stop dust and let moisture out.
Hanging clothes pickup in Al Twar
We collect hanging clothes free from all of Al Twar, just as we do bags of washing. A full address saves the driver time.
Clean and press timing, plus express
Hanging clothes from Al Twar usually come home the next day, our normal 24 hours for most of Dubai. Delicate cloth can take longer. How long depends on the piece, and we tell you at pickup.
Want a shirt today? Book before 2 PM and, if your address is in the express area, it is back on its hanger five hours after pickup. Not every address is covered, so message us your street and we will confirm before you book.
Typical marks, and what to say
- Food and drink: a lunchtime splash down the front of a shirt. Tell us what it was.
- Yellow collars: summer heat in Dubai builds sweat into white collars and kandura necklines. The sooner they reach us, the easier they lift.
- Deodorant: it shows white on dark cloth and yellow on light cloth. Tell us which, because we treat them differently.
- Oud and perfume oil: both can leave a ring on pale cotton. Point out the spot and name the oil if you know it.
- Anything else: a travel fold, no crease, a button hanging by a thread. Just put it in the chat.
Bedding and towels from Al Twar, priced per piece
Most home washing machines can't take a king-size duvet, and it dries slowly even if they could. From Al Twar we wash duvets of every size. We also take sheets, pillows, comforters, bathrobes, mattress protectors and bath or pool towels. We never weigh anything. Prices are AED 25 for a sheet, AED 7 for a towel and AED 56 for a duvet, and the van is free. Bulky item washing (duvets, comforters, blankets) takes 48 to 72 hours, and the return date is settled at booking.

- Charged per piece, never by weight
- Machines large enough for a king duvet
- Duvets and comforters return in 2 to 3 days
- Skin-friendly biodegradable detergent
- Folded only once fully dry
- Pool towels get an extra rinse

What each piece's price covers
One price per item covers collection from your Al Twar villa, cleaning and delivery. Sheets and pillowcases receive our bed linen wash and fold: each piece is washed, checked for damp right into the seams, then folded flat. Small items get as much care as big ones. They just dry sooner.
- Hand check: corners, seams and any stain you flagged.
- A sanitised machine, only yours: bedding never shares a wash. A duvet needs space to tumble, since a squeezed one is wet outside and dry in the middle.
- Detergent: gentle and biodegradable, which counts most for the pillowcase against your face.
- Drying through the middle: a duvet stays in until the centre is as dry as the edge. The cover can feel dry long before the filling does, so we go by touch rather than the clock.
- Dry all through: nothing is packed with damp left in it. Then it goes back to Al Twar.
A duvet cover is a separate charge of AED 31. It comes off and is washed on its own.
How to send bedding from Al Twar
- Say what's coming. A message such as "2 king duvets, 4 sheets, bath towels", with your Al Twar address and a pin.
- We fix the times. You get a collection time and the date it returns.
- Packing. Roll each duvet tight into its own bag. Sheets and towels can go together.
- Free collection. Outside your front door or at the gate, with no charge for the van.
- Updates. They all come in the one WhatsApp chat until delivery.
The chat is answered at every hour. Guests arriving tomorrow and no clean sheets? Booking late is fine.
Duvet, comforter, blanket or bedcover
A duvet or comforter of any size from single to king is AED 56. The types need slightly different handling.
- Duvet: a soft case of loose filling that lives inside a cover. We take the cover off first and charge it separately.
- Comforter: stitched into squares or lines and used without a cover. The stitched pockets dry at different speeds, so each row is checked.
- Blanket: AED 26 for a standard size, more for larger.
- Bedcover: AED 29. It lies over the bed and collects dust, and a shamal wind can carry desert sand indoors. Tell us about any fringes, tassels or beads.
Seams torn, or filling showing? Send a photo on WhatsApp before booking and we'll tell you if we can clean it.
Sheets, pillowcases and pillows
Sheets and pillowcases are changed far more often than a duvet, so they wear out first.
- Sheets: AED 25 each, flat or fitted. Turn fitted ones inside out, as socks and hair ties collect in the corners.
- Pillowcases: AED 9 each. Face cream and sun cream leave greasy spots on cotton. Point them out and don't scrub.
- Pillows: AED 19 each. Fold one in half and release it. If it stays folded, the filling has gone flat and washing won't revive it. Memory foam must stay dry.
- Mattress protectors: AED 35 each. Heat can ruin a waterproof backing, so send a picture of the label first.
Changing every bed in the villa? List the set for each bedroom in the chat and tick them off on return.
Towel laundry service for Al Twar: bath, pool and gym
Soap left in towels makes them stiff, so each towel gets two rinses and a full dry. A towel is AED 7 and a bathrobe AED 19.
- Pool towels: send them the day you use them. Left overnight in a closed bag, a wet towel starts to smell.
- Gym towels: let a small sweaty towel air out before it goes in the bag.
- Bathrobes: the thick collar dries last, so it gets a second check. Tuck the belt in a sleeve so it stays with the robe.
- Sofa covers: AED 46 for a normal zip-off cover. Note which cushion each came from before unzipping.
- Tablecloths: AED 19. After a meal, leave the spill to dry and tell us if it was oil, sauce or juice.
Don't pack wet towels with duvets. In Dubai's humid summers, damp spreads into the filling.
Things that can't go in a machine
A few things can't safely go in any washing machine. Please don't send these from Al Twar:
- Electric blankets and any item with a cable or heating wires.
- Memory foam pillows and toppers.
- Weighted blankets filled with beads of glass or plastic.
- Anything with a crossed-out tub symbol on its label. Not certain? Send us the label on WhatsApp and we'll reply before a driver leaves.
Clothes are booked separately. Jeans, gym kit and other everyday items belong in a Wash & Fold bag, and shirts and abayas that need hangers go to Clean & Press. Use one bag per service, and one driver can take them all. For care tips on every type of bedding, read our home linen guide.
Why a duvet takes 2 to 3 days
Drying is the slow part of duvet and comforter laundering. The cover dries fast, but down, feather and polyester filling hold water deep inside for hours. A duvet stored with any damp left inside starts to smell, however cool the cupboard.
- 48 to 72 hours: thick bedding stays with us that long after collection. We go by the middle of the duvet, not how the outside feels.
- Your return date: we confirm it in the chat when you book.
This tab covers the beds in your own home. For linen changed between holiday guests, see the Airbnb laundry page.
Bedding collection in Al Twar and next door
All of Al Twar is covered, and collection and delivery are free.
- At your villa: the driver collects outside your front door or at the gate. A nearby landmark such as Al Qiyadah metro station helps if your street is hard to spot.
- Next door: Al Qusais, Hor Al Anz and Muhaisnah each have a page of their own.
- Unsure about your street? Send a pin and we'll check.
Prices are the same wherever you live. A villa in Al Twar pays what a flat in Dubai Marina pays.

Al Twar laundry: your questions
What does our laundry service in Al Twar include?
Two services, both with free pickup from your villa in Al Twar. Wash and fold handles daily clothes, towels and sports kit, charged per bag and returned folded. Clean & Press covers shirts, dresses, kanduras and abayas, priced by the piece and returned on hangers. One WhatsApp chat books either, and no app is needed.
- Wash and fold: a fixed price per bag
- Clean & Press: priced for each garment
- Just creases? Book Pressing only
Is there a laundry service near me in Al Twar?
Yes, because we come to you. Searching for a laundry service near me mostly brings up shops where you still carry the bag. Our driver collects from your Al Twar villa and delivers the clean clothes back. Neither trip is charged. One WhatsApp message starts it.
- Send street and villa number
- Share a pin for the driver
- The trip costs nothing
Can I have my laundry back on the same day in Al Twar?
Yes, with express when you book before 2 PM. Express returns the order about five hours after collection, wherever your address is covered. Tell us your street on WhatsApp and we will check it. Later bookings join the next-day laundry service and return within 24 hours.
- Express: around five hours where covered
- Normal service: inside 24 hours
- Duvets and other bulky items: 2 to 3 days
How much is wash and fold in Al Twar?
Each bag has a fixed price. A 6kg bag costs the same packed tight or half empty, and a 12kg bag holds more. Clean & Press is charged item by item. Orders start from AED 50, driving is free in both directions, and there are no hidden fees.
- Monthly plans are the affordable laundry service: Essential has four bags, Family eight
- All rates are in the Prices section of this page
- Shirts, kanduras and abayas are priced one by one
What address details does the driver need in Al Twar?
Send your street, villa number and a map pin. Al Twar has five parts, numbered 1 to 5, so say which one you live in. The pin takes the driver to the right gate. If you want the bag collected at the gate, mention that too.
- Which part of Al Twar, then street and villa
- Place the pin at your door or gate
- Say where the bag will be left
Can pool and gym towels go in the wash bag?
Yes, towels and swimwear can share your wash and fold bag. Dry them first, because damp bags smell quickly in Dubai's heat. Rinse swimwear if you can, to take out chlorine. We tumble swimwear and stretchy sports kit on low.
- Dry towels before bagging
- Rinse chlorine from swimwear
- Towels and clothes can go together
Will my clothes come back pressed to Al Twar?
Clean & Press items do, but wash and fold comes back folded. Kanduras, shirts, dresses and abayas are cleaned following their care labels, steamed by hand and hung. Items sent in a bag are washed, dried and hand-folded. For a crisp work shirt, choose Clean & Press.
- Clean & Press: steamed and hung
- Wash and fold: folded
- Just creases? Book Pressing only
Can you clean a kandura or an abaya in Al Twar?
Yes. Both are booked under Clean & Press at a price per piece. The driver picks them up at your Al Twar villa, and each one is cleaned to its label, hand-steamed and hung. Kanduras and plain abayas typically return in 24 hours. Delicate abayas can take longer, and we give you the time at pickup.
- Kanduras and abayas are priced apart
- Beaded or embellished? Send a label photo first
- No charge for the van
How much bedding fits in a bag from an Al Twar villa?
Choose 6kg for one or two beds and 12kg for several. Standalone villas in Al Twar are mostly three to six bedrooms, so the load depends on how many beds you change. Put sheets, pillowcases and bath towels in loosely and they return folded.
- Two bags fit one collection
- Duvets take 48 to 72 hours
- Towels can share the bag with sheets
Will the detergent upset sensitive skin?
No, it is hypoallergenic and biodegradable. Though commercial-grade, it leaves no strong scent, which helps anyone in your Al Twar home whose skin reacts easily. Each order is washed in a machine of its own, away from other customers' clothes, and the machine is sanitised after every wash.
- A machine per customer
- Sanitised after each wash
- Mention allergies when booking
