Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in Hor Al Anz

Every bag from Hor Al Anz goes through the same steps.

• Pockets checked: every pocket is checked for coins, cards, receipts and pens. One pen that leaks can spoil a whole load.
• Colours apart: light colours and whites go in together. Darks and denim are washed separately, and lace and mesh go on a cooler cycle.
• Stain treatment first: coffee, make-up and sweat marks are treated before the wash. Heat from a dryer can lock a stain in.
• A gentle wash: hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent, with a thorough rinse after. Clothes smell clean, not perfumed.
• Low-heat drying: cotton stays its size and elastic stays springy.
• Folded by hand: every piece is checked as it is folded, then packed and driven back to Hor Al Anz.

Anything you would hang up, such as work shirts and kanduras, goes in Clean & Press.

1. Send a WhatsApp. Give your address in Hor Al Anz or Hor Al Anz East, add a location pin, and say when suits you. There is no app to install.
2. Pack the bag. Use everyday clothes only and check the pockets. A forgotten tissue can shed over the whole load. Put your name and flat or villa number on the bag.
3. We collect. Leave it outside your door and we take it for nothing. If your building has reception, you can hand it in there.
4. We clean. The clothes are sorted, washed, dried and folded.
5. We bring it back. You get a WhatsApp as the driver leaves for Hor Al Anz. Delivery is free as well.

Have work shirts too? A second bag works for Clean & Press, and you can note what is inside when you book. One driver collects both.

Anything that is safe in your own washing machine is safe in our bag. Skip anything labelled do not wash or hand wash only. A typical Hor Al Anz bag could hold:

• Sports kit: leggings, shorts, gym tops and socks.
• Basics: T-shirts and polo shirts you would never put on a hanger.
• Weekend clothes: hoodies, joggers and jeans. Turn dark jeans inside out.
• Summer clothes: cotton tops, linen shirts and summer dresses. In a hot, damp Dubai summer these need washing often.
• Swimwear: swimsuits and trunks, rinsed in fresh water first.
• Children's clothes: school uniforms, pyjamas and play clothes. Zip them up first.

The wash and fold bag is for everyday clothes. We clean the items below too, but each has a price of its own. Put them in the same booking and a single driver collects the lot from your Hor Al Anz door.

• Work shirts, suits, kanduras and abayas: these are for Clean & Press, priced piece by piece and returned on hangers.
• Silk, wool, sequins and beads: send these for dry cleaning, as water can damage them.
• Towels: these are in Bed & Bath, priced one by one.

Before a Hor Al Anz load goes near a machine, it is sorted. Here is what we look for.

• Bleeding dyes: new denim and bright cotton may run in early washes, so they are kept away from whites.
• Heavy items: jeans and chunky zips can rub thinner fabrics, so they are washed separately.
• Your own machine: nobody else's laundry shares your drum.
• Sanitised drums: drums are sanitised between loads.
• Detergent: commercial-grade, and hypoallergenic and biodegradable too. Sweat collects in the seams of sports kit, so those get an extra rinse.
• Gentle drying: strong heat shrinks cotton and slackens elastic. Before folding we make sure waistbands, cuffs and seams are dry.
• A last look: a loose button or a stain that stayed gets a WhatsApp message from us.

Hor Al Anz is on our regular Dubai rounds, and collection and delivery cost nothing.

• Both parts: we collect in each. Tell us which one you are in, and give a building name or villa number with a location pin.
• Homes: Hor Al Anz East has studios, flats of up to three bedrooms and villas. We collect from all of them.
• Where we collect: outside your own door. If your building has reception, we can collect there.
• Useful landmarks: Abu Baker Al Siddique and Abu Hail metro stations on Salah Al Din Street, or Al Ittihad Road.
• Close by: we collect free in Al Twar too.

• Essential: AED 250 monthly covers four bags, one picked up each week. It works for one person or two.

A bag collected in Hor Al Anz is usually back the next day. Hor Al Anz is on the 24-hour return that covers most of Dubai.

Need it today? Our same-day laundry service is available too. Ask by 2 PM and ask for express laundry delivery. Where the address is covered, express returns a bag 5 hours after collection. Ask in the chat if you are unsure.

• Show us the stain: make-up on a collar, tea on a cuff or juice on a school shirt. Point out where each mark sits.
• Tell us what you tried: a stain spray, bleach or hot water may have set the mark. Mention it in your message.
• Air damp kit: gym clothes bagged while wet smell quickly in the heat, so hang them up for an hour first.

What you see for a shirt in Hor Al Anz is what you pay. Stain work, hanger and cover are in it.

• Checked in: each piece is counted against your list, its care label is read and loose buttons are noted.
• Stains by hand: we treat marks before heat touches the cloth.
• The right clean for the cloth: cotton shirts are washed cool to keep their size, and finer fabrics follow the label.
• Hung to dry: there is no tumble dryer. They dry on hangers in filtered air, which keeps sleeves from shrinking.
• Collar and cuffs come first: after that the front, back and sleeves.
• Three final checks, after which it gets a cover and goes back to Hor Al Anz.

1. Make a list. For example "five shirts, two suits and a kandura". Add your address, and say whether you like sharp or soft creases.
2. Two bags are best. Hanging clothes in one, washing to be folded in the other.
3. Free pickup. Put the bags by your door, or at reception where there is one.
4. Item by item. Each item is completed before the next begins.
5. Back on hangers. Normally next day, under a breathable cover.

If it looks better hanging than folded, it belongs here. From a Hor Al Anz wardrobe that could be:

• Work shirts: poplin, oxford and twill cottons. The collar always comes first.
• Linen: shirts and trousers crumple fast, and a steamer clears the creases.
• Blouses and skirts: viscose and crepe wrinkle quickly, which is why we hang them.
• Suits and chinos: normally wool or a cotton mix. A jacket is steamed on a form so the lapels sit flat.
• Kanduras and thobes: typically white cotton or a mix. The front is steamed until smooth.
• Ghutras: smoothed out flat on a table. You fold it your usual way.
• Abayas and jalabiyas: georgette and crepe are only ever steamed, which keeps black rich and even. For a shayla price, ask us on WhatsApp.
• Kurta sets: the top and trousers are kept as one set.

• Clean but creased? Pressing gets the creases out without a second wash.
• Silk, lace, heavy wool, beads or sequins on it? Choose dry cleaning, because water can spoil them.
• Only T-shirts, socks, gym kit or pyjamas? Use a Wash & Fold bag.

Not sure which? A photo of the label on WhatsApp is enough, and we will reply before the driver reaches Hor Al Anz.

Care labels use one, two or three dots for heat, and our steamer never goes past that. Three dots allows about 200°C, which cotton and linen can take. With two dots it is around 150°C, for wool, silk and polyester mixes. One dot means roughly 110°C, for synthetics like acrylic. A crossed-out iron means steam alone.

• No plate on dark crepe: a hot plate leaves black cloth shiny, so black abayas and dark trousers see steam only.
• Extra time on collars and cuffs: these are what people see first.
• Your crease is remembered: sharp, soft, no crease, or flat for packing. We note it so the next order matches.
• Covers that breathe: Dubai summers are damp and plastic holds that damp in. Ours lets it out on the drive to Hor Al Anz.

Collection of hanging clothes is free in both parts of Hor Al Anz, as it is for every other service.

• What we need: your building or villa number, a flat number if there is one, and a pin on the map.
• Easy landmarks: Abu Hail or Abu Baker Al Siddique metro station on Salah Al Din Street, or Al Qiyadah station on Al Ittihad Road.
• Close by: we also collect in Al Mamzar and Al Qusais.

Hanging clothes collected in Hor Al Anz normally come back the next day. Our aim is 24 hours, the same as most of Dubai. Delicate fabrics can take longer, depending on the piece, and we tell you the time at booking.

Want a shirt back tonight? Ask by 2 PM. Express returns it 5 hours after collection if your address is covered. Not every street is, so send us your location and we will check.

These are worth mentioning when you book a pickup in Hor Al Anz.

• Food and drink: a drink or sauce spilt on a shirt. Say what it was.
• Make-up: foundation and lipstick leave marks on collars. Show us where.
• Sweat: hot Dubai summers turn white collars and kandura necklines yellow with sweat. It comes out more easily while fresh.
• Deodorant: white streaks show on dark cloth and yellow patches on pale cloth, and each is treated its own way.
• Perfume oil and oud: a small amount can stain white or cream cotton. Tell us where, and which oil if you know.

The price covers collection from your Hor Al Anz home, the cleaning and the return. With our bed linen wash and fold, sheets and pillowcases come home clean, dry and neatly folded. Pillow covers get as much care as a duvet, only they dry far quicker.

• Looked over first: we go over corners and seams, and look for the stain you mentioned.
• A clean machine to itself: your bedding has the drum to itself. A duvet needs space to move so water gets to its centre.
• Mild detergent: hypoallergenic and biodegradable, which matters on pillowcases, where your face rests all night.
• Dry all the way through: covers dry well before fillings, so we check the filling by hand instead of trusting the timer.
• Packed dry: nothing is bagged damp. It is folded, bagged and driven back to Hor Al Anz.

Duvet covers cost AED 31. The cover is taken off and washed separately, so each gets the cycle it needs.

1. Send a list. For instance, "one king duvet, a pair of pillows and four bath towels". Add your address and a location pin.
2. We confirm. We reply with a collection time and a return day.
3. Bag it. Roll a duvet into its own bag, and put sheets and towels in a second one.
4. Free collection. The driver takes the bags from your door, or from reception where your building has it.
5. WhatsApp updates. You hear from us until it is home again.

You can message us any time. Hosting guests tomorrow? Book the evening before and the spare room sheets will be ready.

Duvets and comforters of any size, single to king, are AED 56. Each kind is cleaned a little differently.

• Duvet: the soft filling that sits inside a cover. The cover is charged separately and washed apart.
• Comforter: quilted, and used with no cover. Quilting dries unevenly, so we feel each section before packing.
• Blanket: AED 26 in a standard size, with bigger ones costing more.
• Bedcover: AED 29. Being on top of the bed, it gathers the most dust. Shamal winds blow fine desert sand around Dubai, and some of it settles on beds. Mention any tassels, beads or fringe.

Seam split or filling coming out? Before booking, send a WhatsApp photo and we will tell you if it can be washed.

Sheets and pillowcases get washed far more than duvets in Dubai's heat, which is why they wear out sooner.

• Sheets: AED 25 each, whether flat or fitted. Turn fitted ones inside out, because small items hide in the corners.
• Pillow covers: AED 9. Greasy marks from hair oil, night cream and make-up are common. Point them out rather than scrubbing.
• Pillows: AED 19 each. A pillow that is flat and lumpy will not recover with washing, and memory foam must not get wet.
• Mattress covers: AED 35. Too much heat can damage the waterproof layer, so photograph the care label first.

Bedding from more than one bedroom? Tell us which set came from which room, so sorting is easy when it returns.

Towels cost AED 7 and bathrobes AED 19. Soap left in the loops stiffens a towel, so we rinse twice and dry each one right through.

• Bath towels: book soon after use. A damp towel in a shut bag smells by morning.
• Gym towels: they hold sweat and stay damp. Let them dry on a rail before they go in the bag.
• Bathrobes: the thick collar dries last, so we check it more than once. Tie the belt loosely round the robe so they are not separated.
• Sofa covers: AED 46 for a standard cover that zips off. Mark which cushion each cover fits, and brush away pet hair first.
• Tablecloths: AED 19. Say what was spilt, perhaps coffee or red wine, and avoid rubbing it.

Keep damp towels out of the bag holding a duvet. In humid air the filling takes up moisture fast.

Please keep these out of your Hor Al Anz bedding order. A washing machine would harm these:

• Electric blankets, heated throws and anything that plugs in.
• Weighted blankets, filled with heavy beads.
• Memory foam pillows and toppers.
• Anything labelled do not wash. Unsure? A photo of the label is enough, and we reply before pickup.

Clothes are a separate booking. Jeans, T-shirts and other folded items go in Wash & Fold. Shirts, abayas and other hanging pieces go in Clean & Press. Use a bag per service, and one driver collects everything. More care advice is in our home linen guide.

Drying is where duvet and comforter laundering takes its time. Covers dry fairly fast, but down, feather and polyester fillings can stay wet for hours. Any damp left in the centre makes a stored duvet smell musty.

• 48 to 72 hours: thick bedding stays with us that long so the centre dries as well as the edges.
• Return day: you will find it in the chat after booking.
