Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Studio M Arabian Plaza

Wash and fold is the simple half of our laundry service. You put everyday clothes in one bag, and we wash, dry and fold them. You do not sort anything, and you do not pay by the piece.

• Hand the bag to the driver at the lobby or concierge desk of Studio M Arabian Plaza, if the hotel allows it
• The driver checks what is inside with you
• We wash it the same day we receive it
• It comes back folded, in a clean bag, to the hotel

There are two sizes: the 6kg bag (AED 65) and the 12kg bag (AED 120). Most guests on a stay of a week or less use the smaller one.

Anything that is fine in a normal machine wash can go in. A trip tends to produce the same pile, so the bag fills quickly, and it is worth packing it before the driver arrives.

Keep suits, silk and anything labelled dry clean only for the Clean & Press tab. If you are unsure about a piece, ask us in the chat before the driver comes, and we will tell you which service fits it.

Some clothes do not belong in a wash, even a gentle one. If we find these in your bag, we message you before doing anything, so there are no surprises when it comes back.

These move to Clean & Press, where they are priced by the piece.

Your bag is sorted into lights and darks, and softer fabrics are kept apart from heavy ones like jeans. Then it goes into a machine on its own, with a measured amount of detergent.

• Washed in a hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent
• Rinsed until the water runs clean

Your order is washed in its own load, so it does not mix with another customer's. Nobody else's laundry shares the drum, and the machines are sanitised after every load.

Clothes are dried on low heat, which protects cotton from shrinking and keeps stretch fabrics springy. Gym kit and swimwear get the same treatment, so the elastic is not cooked.

The result is a bag you can place straight into your suitcase, without sorting through it. If you want certain items hung rather than folded, say so when you book.

Stains are looked at before the wash, not after it. Tell us what caused the mark and we treat it by hand first, because the right treatment depends on the cause.

Some marks fade rather than disappear completely, and we say so honestly. Add a note in the chat about anything that needs extra care, and the driver will see it when collecting.

If you are in Dubai for weeks and the washing comes round at the same pace, a plan is easier than booking bag by bag.

• Essential: one pickup a week, four in the month, for AED 250 a month
• Family: two a week, eight in the month, for AED 450 a month

A single bag is AED 65, with no plan needed. Pickups fall on a set day each week, and you can change it in the chat. Ask us if you are not sure which fits your stay.

Standard return is 24 hours, so a normal order works as a next-day laundry service. For urgent pieces there is express laundry delivery: book before 2 PM and your items come back in 5 hours, if your address is covered.

Plan around check-out and flights, and tell us the time you leave when you book.

Clean and press is our guest dry cleaning service. Each piece is cleaned on its own, then finished with steam, so it comes back ready to wear.

• The care label is read before anything is done
• The garment is washed in cool water or cleaned the gentle way
• It is dried in filtered air
• It is pressed by hand and hung on a hanger

This is the service for the shirt you need on Monday morning, or the dress for a dinner tomorrow night. Every piece is priced separately, so you can see exactly what each one costs.

A suit is not washed with a T-shirt. Each garment goes through its own cycle, so colours and shapes stay as they came.

If something has a mark, tell us what it is and where it is, and we treat it before cleaning. A short note in the chat is enough, and the presser sees it with the order.

Pressing is where good clothes are made or spoilt, so the presser reads the label before the steam goes on. The symbol on the label sets the heat.

• Cotton and linen: lots of steam and a hot plate, which gives a kandura its long, clean line
• Polyester and blends: medium heat, through a cloth so the weave does not shine
• Crepe, viscose and nida: low heat, with steam held just off the surface, the way a black abaya is handled
• Crossed-out symbol: steam from a distance, or no finish at all

Everything comes back hung so it has room to breathe in a humid Dubai wardrobe.

Some pieces fit better elsewhere. A bag of T-shirts, gym kit and jeans is cheaper in Wash & Fold, where one flat price covers everything. If clothes are already clean and only crumpled, pressing only is the shorter job, and it is priced lower than a full clean.

A wedding, a gala or a client dinner needs one good outfit that is ready on time. Hand it over early, and tell us the date and the hour you need it back at Studio M Arabian Plaza.

For express suit pressing, book before 2 PM. Express brings pieces back in 5 hours, if your address is covered. Tell us about any marks when you book.

Traditional wear is priced piece by piece, so you only pay for what you send. Hand it over a day ahead of the event, since standard return is 24 hours. Say in the chat if there is any decoration, embroidery or beading, and we will plan the cleaning around it. A kandura, a ghutra, a jalabiya or a kurta all come back on hangers.

Every piece is returned on a hanger with a breathable cover, never sealed in plastic. That keeps the press crisp in the lift, the taxi and the hotel wardrobe, even on a humid day. If you would rather have a shirt folded to fit a suitcase, tell us when you book and we will fold it.

We read every care label. If a label is missing or an item is already damaged, we clean it at your own risk, and we tell you before we start. Items that are lost or damaged while with us are covered up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.
