Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in Al Rigga

Here is what happens to a bag after it leaves Al Rigga.

• Pockets emptied: keys, coins, tissues and pens come out first, because a single pen can ruin a drum of clothes.
• Colours sorted: whites and pale colours wash together, while jeans and darks get a load of their own. Lace and mesh go on a cooler cycle.

2. Pack up. Put in everyday clothes only, and empty the pockets, because a tissue can leave lint on everything. Write your name and flat on the bag.
3. Pickup. Collection is free, at your door or at the front desk where there is one.
4. Washing. Everything is sorted, washed, dried and folded.
5. Delivery. We WhatsApp as the driver leaves for Al Rigga. Delivery is free as well.

Here is an easy rule. If your home washing machine can take it, so can our bag. Skip anything labelled hand wash only or do not wash. Typical bags from Al Rigga include:

• Daily tops: T-shirts, vests and casual polos.
• Gym wear: training tops, running shorts and socks.
• Relaxed clothes: hoodies, joggers and jeans. Turn dark denim inside out to protect the colour.
• Summer pieces: cotton dresses, linen tops and shorts, which need washing often when it is hot and humid.
• Swimwear: swimsuits, trunks and rash vests, rinsed in fresh water beforehand.
• Kids' things: school uniform, pyjamas and play clothes, with zips done up.

The bag is for everyday clothes. Other items are still welcome, each at its own price. Add both to one booking and a single driver picks everything up in Al Rigga.

• Office shirts, suits, kanduras and abayas: these go to Clean & Press, with a price per piece and a hanger on the way back.
• Silk, wool, sequins and beadwork: water is too rough on these, so choose dry cleaning.
• Towels: towels of every kind sit in Bed & Bath, priced one at a time.
• Underwired bras and hand-wash knits: better washed by hand at home. Send a photo if a label puzzles you.
• Curtains, rugs and trainers: each has its own service higher up this page.

Sorting comes before every wash. It costs us a few minutes and saves your clothes. These are the things we watch for.

• Bleeding dye: bright cotton and new denim can run for the first few washes, so whites stay away from them.
• Rough items: denim and metal zips scrape thin fabrics, so we wash them separately.
• Machine to yourself: your clothes are never mixed with anyone else's.
• Sanitised drums: each drum is cleaned between loads.
• Commercial-grade detergent: hypoallergenic and biodegradable, with a full rinse for sports kit because sweat settles in seams.
• Careful drying: too much heat shrinks cotton and tires elastic. Cuffs, seams and waistbands must be dry before folding, or they turn smelly.
• Final check: a loose button or a stubborn mark? You hear from us on WhatsApp before the bag is returned.

Al Rigga is on our usual Deira routes, so we collect from every part of it. Pickup and delivery cost nothing.

• Your street: the streets here are numbered, so tell us the street number and the building name.
• Flats: we pick the bag up at your flat, or at the front desk if your building has one.
• Helpful landmarks: Al Rigga Road, the Deira Clocktower and Union Square.

Regular senders from Al Rigga save money on a plan. A budget-friendly wash and fold plan lowers the price of each bag, and pickup lands on the same weekday without rebooking.

• Essential is AED 250 a month for four bags, collected weekly. It fits one or two people.
• Family is AED 450 a month for eight bags, collected twice a week. That is enough for school, sport and work clothes.
• Single bag is AED 65, whenever suits you.

Most bags picked up in Al Rigga are home the following day. Al Rigga gets the same 24-hour return as most of Dubai.

• Point out stains: sun cream on a collar, coffee on a cuff, juice on a school shirt.
• Tell us what you used: stain spray, bleach and hot water can fix a mark in place, so say if you tried any.
• Air sweaty kit: in the heat, gym clothes shut in a bag go sour quickly. Give them an hour on a hanger first.

The listed price for a shirt from Al Rigga is the full price. Stain treatment, hanger and cover are part of it.

• Counted in: each piece is checked against your list, and its care label is read. Loose buttons are noted.
• Hand stain treatment: done before any heat, so marks cannot set.
• Fabric-led cleaning: cotton shirts get a cool wash to avoid shrinking, and finer cloth gets whatever its label asks for.
• Air drying: no tumble dryer, so sleeves stay their proper length.
• Steaming order: collar and cuffs, then body, then sleeves.
• Three checks happen before the cover goes on and the order heads back to Al Rigga.

1. Write your list. For instance, "three work shirts and a kandura". Add your building and flat, and say sharp or soft creases.
2. Use two bags, one for hanging pieces and one for folded washing.
3. Collection is free, from your door or the concierge if your building has one.
4. We finish one piece before we start the next.
5. Your clothes return hanging, usually next day, inside breathable covers.

Send a piece for clean and press when it looks better hung than folded. In an Al Rigga wardrobe, that is usually:

• Office shirts: poplin, oxford and twill cotton, with the collar done first.
• Linen: shirts and trousers crease quickly, and steam relaxes them.
• Blouses and skirts: crepe and viscose crumple in drawers, so they come back hung.
• Suits and chinos: usually wool or cotton blends. A dummy holds jackets so lapels stay flat.
• Kanduras and thobes: white cotton or blends, with the front panel steamed smooth.
• Ghutras: laid flat on a table so you can fold them how you like.
• Abayas and jalabiyas: steam alone on crepe and georgette keeps black even. Ask us about the price of a shayla.
• Kurta sets: top and trousers are returned together.

• Already clean but creased? Pressing smooths it out with no extra wash.
• Silk, lace, heavy wool, beads or sequins? Dry cleaning suits these better than water.
• Just T-shirts, gym kit, socks and pyjamas? A Wash & Fold bag is the right choice.

On a care label, the iron symbol shows one, two or three dots. More dots mean more heat is safe, and we always stay under that limit. Three dots is up to about 200°C, for cotton and linen. Two is about 150°C, for wool, silk and polyester blends. One is about 110°C, for synthetics like acrylic. A crossed-out iron means steam only, with no plate touching the cloth.

• Dark crepe: a hot plate can leave black cloth shiny, so black abayas and dark trousers are only steamed.
• Collars and cuffs: they get the most attention, as they are seen first.
• Your crease: sharp, soft, none or flat for travel. We note it for next time.
• Breathable covers: plastic traps humidity in a Dubai summer, so our covers let damp out on the way back to Al Rigga.

Hanging clothes are collected free everywhere in Al Rigga, the same as any other service.

• Tell us: street number, building name, flat number and a location pin.
• Landmarks that help: Union Square and Al Rigga Metro station.
• Close by: collection is also free in Port Saeed and Hor Al Anz.

Clothes sent from Al Rigga on hangers usually return the next day, because we aim for 24 hours like the rest of Dubai. Delicate fabrics can take longer, depending on the piece, and we say how long at pickup.

Please mention any of these when you book in Al Rigga.

• Food and drink: coffee, tea, sauce or wine. Tell us which.
• Make-up: foundation or lipstick on a collar. Show us the place.
• Sweat: in summer heat it turns white collars and kandura necklines yellow. Fresh marks come out more easily.
• Deodorant: white marks on dark cloth, yellow on light cloth. We treat each one differently.
• Perfume oil and oud: one drop can stain white or cream cotton. Point to the spot and name the oil if you know it.

Each price includes pickup from your Al Rigga home, the cleaning and the delivery. Our bed linen wash and fold returns sheets and pillowcases dry and folded. Pillowcases are treated like duvets and just dry quicker.

• Quick inspection: seams, corners and the stains you flagged.
• A machine to itself: bedding washes alone with space to tumble, so water gets into the centre of a duvet.
• Mild detergent: hypoallergenic and biodegradable, which counts when your face is on the pillowcase.
• Fully dried: covers dry long before fillings, so we feel the filling instead of trusting a timer.
• Never damp: it is folded, bagged and sent back to Al Rigga completely dry.

A duvet cover costs AED 31. It comes off the duvet and gets its own wash cycle.

1. List the items. For example, "one king duvet, two pillows and a stack of towels". Add your building, flat and a location pin.
2. We reply with a pickup time and a return day.
3. Bag it: each duvet alone, with sheets and towels sharing a second bag.
4. We collect from your door or from your concierge, if the building has one. It costs nothing.
5. We keep you posted on WhatsApp until it is all home.

Guests due? Book a day early so their bed has fresh sheets.

Every duvet or comforter from Al Rigga is AED 56, single to king. The three types need different handling.

• Duvet: the soft inner layer. Its cover is a separate item with its own wash.
• Comforter: quilted all over and used bare. Each quilted panel dries at its own pace, so we test them one by one.
• Blanket: AED 26 in standard size; larger ones cost more.
• Bedcover: AED 29. It takes the most dust, and summer shamal winds bring fine sand. Mention fringes, tassels and beads.

Sheets and pillowcases are changed often in hot weather, much more than duvets, so they thin out first.

• Sheets are AED 25 whether fitted or flat. Shake out the corners, where socks and earrings tend to hide.
• Pillowcases are AED 9. Greasy patches from face cream, make-up or hair oil should be left alone; just point them out.
• Pillows are AED 19 each. A wash cannot refill a lumpy pillow, and memory foam should stay dry.
• Mattress protectors are AED 35. The waterproof backing is heat-sensitive, so photograph the label for us.

If the bedding comes from several bedrooms, write the room on each set.

Towels cost AED 7 each and bathrobes AED 19. We give every towel two rinses and a long dry, because leftover soap is what makes them harsh.

• Bath and pool towels: do not leave them wet in a bag overnight. They sour fast, so book soon after use.
• Gym towels: let them air before packing, since sweat clings to them.
• Robes: collars are thick and dry last, so we check them again. A tied belt keeps each robe in one piece.
• Sofa covers: AED 46 for a standard zip-off cover. Mark the cushions and shake out pet hair.
• Table linen: AED 19 a cloth. Tell us if the stain is wine or coffee, and leave it unrubbed.

In humid air a duvet drinks up moisture, so never pack a damp towel alongside one.

Some items should stay out of your Al Rigga bedding bag, because a machine would damage them:

• Electric blankets and heated throws, or anything with a plug or cable.
• Weighted blankets filled with heavy beads.
• Memory foam pillows and mattress toppers.
• Anything labelled do not wash. Send a photo if you are not sure and we will reply before collection.

With duvet and comforter laundering, drying takes up most of the time. Covers dry fast. Feather, down and polyester fillings need hours, and any moisture left inside turns musty in the cupboard.

• 48 to 72 hours: that is the time thick bedding from Al Rigga stays with us, so the middle dries like the edges.
• Return day: we confirm it on WhatsApp after you book.
