Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in Port Saeed

After the driver leaves Port Saeed with your bag, it goes through these steps.

• Pocket check: we take out keys, coins and pens. Even one pen can spoil a full load.
• Colour sort: whites and pastels in one machine, jeans and dark clothes in another, and lace or mesh on a cooler programme.
• Spot treatment: coffee, sun cream and make-up marks get attention before the wash, because heat would fix them.
• Detergent: a hypoallergenic, biodegradable one, with a thorough rinse so your clothes smell fresh and not scented.
• Drying: on low heat, to protect cotton from shrinking and elastic from stretching out.
• Folding: by hand, with a last check of every piece before the bag returns to Port Saeed.

Anything that should hang, like a shirt or a kandura, is better in Clean & Press.

1. WhatsApp us your building, flat and a map pin if possible. There is nothing to download.
2. Pack the bag with everyday clothes only, after checking pockets for tissues. Write your name and flat number on it.
3. Give it to the driver at your door or the front desk. It costs nothing.
4. We do the washing: sorting, washing, drying and folding.
5. The bag comes home. You get a WhatsApp as the driver sets off, and delivery is free.

Shirts that need steaming can travel in a separate bag labelled Clean & Press. The same driver takes both bags.

As a rule, if your home machine can wash it, our bag can too. Leave out hand wash only items and anything marked do not wash. A typical Port Saeed bag has:

• T-shirts, vests and polos for every day.
• Gym clothes: running shorts, sports vests and socks.
• Casual wear: hoodies, joggers and jeans, with dark denim inside out.
• Light summer clothes: cotton dresses, linen tops and shorts that need washing often when it's humid.
• Swimwear: costumes, trunks and rash vests, rinsed in fresh water first.
• Kids' things: uniforms, pyjamas and playwear, with zips closed.

Everyday clothes are what the bag is for. Anything else is welcome, but priced on its own. Add it to the same booking and one driver picks up everything in Port Saeed.

• Shirts, suits, kanduras and abayas go through Clean & Press, with a price per piece and a hanger on return.
• Silk, wool, sequins and beads are too fragile for a wash cycle, so choose dry cleaning.
• Towels belong to Bed & Bath and cost a fixed amount each.
• Underwired bras and hand-wash knits are best washed at home by hand. Send a photo if a care label is unclear.
• Curtains, rugs and trainers are separate services, listed higher on this page.

Sorting takes only a few minutes, but it protects everything that follows. These are the things we are guarding against.

• Bleeding dye: bright cotton and brand-new jeans run in the first washes, so they stay apart from whites.
• Rubbing: denim and metal zips scratch finer cloth, so they get their own load.
• Mixed orders: never. Each customer's clothes have a drum of their own.
• Dirty drums: every drum is sanitised before the next load.
• Detergent: commercial-grade, hypoallergenic and biodegradable. Gym kit is rinsed for longer to clear sweat out of the seams.
• Drying: too much heat shrinks cotton and ruins elastic, and cuffs or waistbands left damp start to smell. We check both before folding.
• Last look: a loose button or a stubborn mark means a WhatsApp from us before the bag goes home.

Port Saeed is on our regular Deira route, so there is no street we skip. Collection and return cost nothing.

• Finding you: your building name and flat number are enough, and a map pin makes it faster.
• Flats: the driver picks up outside your front door, or from the front desk if there is one.
• Handy landmarks: City Centre Deira, the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and the two creek bridges.

• Essential is four bags a month, one every week, at AED 250. It suits a household of one or two.
• Family is eight bags a month, two every week, at AED 450. School, gym and office clothes all fit.

Most Port Saeed bags are home the day after pickup, the 24-hour turnaround that applies to most of Dubai.

When it is urgent, our same-day laundry service can help. Book before 2 PM and ask for express laundry delivery; if your address is covered, the order arrives five hours after we pick it up. We will confirm by message.

• Point to stains: sun cream on a collar, coffee on a cuff, juice on a school shirt.
• Mention anything you tried: bleach, sprays and hot water can lock a mark in.
• Air gym kit first: shut in a bag, it turns sour in this heat, so give it an hour on a hanger.

A Port Saeed shirt costs exactly what the price list says. The hanger, the cover and stain treatment are all included.

• On arrival: we tally the pieces with your list, read each label and spot loose buttons.
• Marks: treated by hand before heat, which would set them.
• Washing: a cool cycle for cotton shirts so they hold their size. Delicate fabrics follow what the label asks.
• Drying: on a hanger, not in a tumble dryer, so sleeves keep their length.
• Steaming: collar and cuffs first, then the body and sleeves.
• Checks: three, before the cover goes on and the order returns to Port Saeed.

1. Make a quick list, like "four work shirts and two kanduras", and add your building, flat and whether you like a sharp or soft crease.
2. Pack two bags: hanging items in one, folded things in the other.
3. Pickup is free, at your door or at the front desk if your building has one.
4. We finish one garment before moving on to the next.
5. Everything comes back hanging, usually next day, in covers that let air through.

Anything that looks better hanging should go through clean and press. In practice that means:

• Office shirts in poplin, oxford or twill, with the collar finished first.
• Linen shirts and trousers, which crease quickly and respond well to steam.
• Blouses and skirts in crepe or viscose, which crumple if folded.
• Suits and chinos, usually wool or a cotton blend, shaped on a jacket form so the lapels lie flat.
• Kanduras and thobes in white cotton or a blend, steamed smooth at the front.
• Ghutras, returned flat for you to fold as you prefer.
• Abayas and jalabiyas: steam keeps black crepe and georgette an even colour. We quote shaylas on request.
• Kurta sets, returned as a matching top and trousers.

• Clean but creased? Pressing only removes the creases and skips the wash.
• Silk, lace, heavy wool, beading or sequins? Dry cleaning is gentler than water.
• T-shirts, gym kit, socks and nightwear? Use a Wash & Fold bag.

Can't decide? Photograph the care label and WhatsApp it to us, and we will reply before the driver gets to Port Saeed.

Every care label has an iron symbol. One dot is a cool setting, two a warm one and three a hot one, and we stay below the limit shown. Three dots is up to roughly 200°C for cotton and linen. Two dots is about 150°C for wool, silk and polyester blends. One dot is nearer 110°C, for synthetics such as acrylic. If the iron is crossed out, only steam is used and nothing hot touches the cloth.

• Black cloth: hot plates can polish dark crepe until it gleams, so black abayas and dark trousers get steam, not a press.
• Collars and cuffs: the longest part of the job, as everyone notices them first.
• Crease: sharp, soft, none or flat to pack. Tell us once and we remember.
• Breathable covers: plastic holds in moisture during Dubai summers, so our covers let it escape on the way back to Port Saeed.

Hanging clothes are collected free from every part of Port Saeed, like all our services.

• What to send us: building name, flat number and a map pin.

Hanging orders in Port Saeed usually come back the following day. We work to 24 hours, the same as most of Dubai. Delicate fabrics can take longer. It depends on the piece, and we say how long when we collect it.

• Food and drink: coffee, tea, a sauce or wine. Name it.
• Cosmetics: foundation or lipstick on a collar. Show us the spot.
• Sweat: heat turns white collars and kandura necklines yellow, and recent marks come out more easily.
• Deodorant: white marks on dark cloth, yellow ones on pale cloth, and each is treated differently.
• Perfume oil and oud: one drop can stain white or cream cotton. Show us where and, if you know it, which oil.

One price covers collection from Port Saeed, the wash and the return. Our bed linen wash and fold sends sheets and pillowcases back dry and folded. A pillowcase is treated just like a duvet, though it dries sooner.

• First look: seams, corners and any marks you mentioned.
• Plenty of room: bedding is washed on its own so water can reach the centre of a duvet.
• Detergent: hypoallergenic and biodegradable, which counts when you sleep with your face on the pillow.
• Drying: a cover dries long before its filling, so we check the filling with our hands and not just a timer.
• Finish: folded, bagged and returned dry, never damp.

A duvet cover is AED 31, and we wash it apart from the duvet.

1. List what you have, like "a king duvet, two pillows and some towels", with your building, flat and a pin.
2. We answer with a pickup time and a return day.
3. Pack: the duvet by itself, sheets and towels in a second bag.
4. The driver collects at your door or the front desk, where your building has one. Free of charge.
5. Updates arrive by WhatsApp until it is all back.

Every duvet and comforter from Port Saeed costs AED 56, from single up to king. We treat the types a little differently.

• Duvet: the filled inner. The cover is its own item.
• Comforter: stitched into quilted sections and used bare. Each section dries at its own pace, so we test them in turn.
• Blanket: AED 26 for a standard size, more for a large one.
• Bedcover: AED 29. It holds a lot of dust, and the summer shamal brings in fine sand. Warn us about fringes, tassels or beads.

A split seam or stuffing poking out? Send a photo before booking and we will tell you what we can do.

When it is hot, people change sheets and pillowcases more than duvets, so these wear out sooner.

• Bedsheets cost AED 25 each, whether flat or fitted. Shake the corners out, since socks and earrings get stuck there.
• Pillowcases cost AED 9 each. Leave greasy marks from creams, make-up or hair oil alone and point them out to us.
• Pillows cost AED 19 each. Washing won't fix a lumpy one, and memory foam can't go in water.
• Mattress protectors cost AED 35 each. The waterproof backing can react to heat, so send us a picture of the label.

For several bedrooms, write the room name on each bundle.

Towels cost AED 7 and bathrobes AED 19. Soap left in the fibres leaves them stiff, so they get two rinses and a long dry.

• Bath and pool towels: if one sits wet in a bag overnight it turns sour, so book soon after using it.
• Gym towels: air them first, as sweat clings to the cloth.
• Bathrobes: the thick collar dries last, so we go back to it. A knot in the belt keeps it with its robe.
• Sofa covers: AED 46 for a standard zip-off cover. Mark each cushion and brush off pet hair.
• Tablecloths: AED 19 each. For wine or coffee, avoid rubbing and tell us what it was.

Humid air makes duvets soak up moisture, so a damp towel shouldn't share a bag with one.

These can be harmed by machines, so please keep them out of your Port Saeed bedding bag:

• Electric blankets and heated throws, or anything with a plug or cable.
• Weighted blankets that hold heavy beads.
• Memory foam pillows and mattress toppers.
• Anything labelled do not wash. If you are not sure, send a photo and we will reply before pickup.

Clothes need their own booking. Use Wash & Fold for jeans and T-shirts, and Clean & Press for shirts, abayas and anything that hangs. Keep one bag per service; a single driver can take them all. You will find more advice in our home linen guide.

For duvet and comforter laundering, drying is where the time goes. A cover dries fast. A feather, down or polyester filling takes hours, and any damp left inside will smell musty in a wardrobe.

• Allow 48 to 72 hours for thick bedding from Port Saeed, so the centre dries as well as the edges.
• Return day: we agree it on WhatsApp after you book.
