Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in Al Nahda

Every bag from Al Nahda follows the same route through our laundry, whatever its size. A half-empty bag from a studio gets the same attention as a full one from a family flat, and the bill stays the same.

• Sorting: lights, darks and delicate pieces are split into separate piles by hand before anything is wet.
• Spotting stains: sun cream, oil and sweat marks on collars and underarms are caught now, because dryer heat later can bake them in.
• Washing: a hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent and a thorough rinse, so the clothes smell of clean cotton and nothing else.
• Drying: low heat, so fitted T-shirts keep their size and waistbands keep their stretch.
• Folding: each piece is folded by hand, given a last look and packed for the trip back to Al Nahda.

You get flat, folded clothes ready for the drawer. Anything that needs a sharp crease, like a kandura or a work shirt, belongs in Clean & Press.

1. Message us. Send a location pin with your building name, street and flat number. No app is needed.
2. Pack your bag. Empty every pocket first, because a pen or lip balm can ruin a whole load in the dryer. Write your name and flat number on the bag.
3. Hand it over. The driver takes the bag at your door, or at reception if your building has it. Pickup is free.
4. We wash and fold. Sorting, gentle washing, low-heat drying and folding happen at our laundry.
5. It comes home. We message you when the bag leaves us, and delivery to Al Nahda costs nothing.

Hanging shirts go in a second bag for Clean & Press. Mention both in one message and you get a single stop.

Think of your own washing machine. If it would go in there, it can go in our bag. Leave out anything marked hand wash only or do not wash.

• Everyday basics: T-shirts, vests and shorts, plus light linen for the weeks above 43°C.
• Work-week casuals: polos, chinos and tops that don't need a sharp crease.
• Gym and sports kit: running tops, leggings, football shirts and socks.
• Swimwear: rinsed and fully dry before it goes in the bag.
• Children's wear: school polos, play clothes and baby sleepsuits, poppers done up.
• Cosy layers: hoodies and thin jumpers for January afternoons of about 22 to 24°C.

The bag is for everyday clothes. The items below need a different booking, and the same driver can still collect them on the same visit.

• Suits, abayas, kanduras and work shirts: choose Clean & Press. You pay per garment and they return on hangers.
• Silk, wool coats, beads and sequins: these go to dry cleaning.
• Bath towels and robes: they are priced per piece in the Bed & Bath tab.
• Delicate bras and hand-wash knitwear: keep them back, or send a label photo and ask first.
• Rugs, curtains and shoes: each has a card of its own further up the page.

A load is mostly won or lost at the sorting table, so we take our time there. This is what happens to your Al Nahda bag once it is tipped out.

• Colours by colour. Whites never share a wash with colours, because one red football shirt can turn the vests pink.
• Thick with thick. Denim and fleece rub thin cotton into bobbles, so they are washed apart.
• A machine for each customer. Your clothes are the only ones in the drum, so no stray sock from another home turns up in your bag.
• A clean drum every time. We sanitise it when your cycle ends.
• Detergent. Commercial-grade, yet biodegradable and hypoallergenic. In a Dubai summer a T-shirt sits on hot skin for hours, so leftover soap matters.
• Cool dryers. Heat shrinks cotton and spoils elastic, so we dry on low and feel the seams, cuffs and hoods to check they are dry.
• The final fold. A loose button or a stubborn stain shows up here, and we message you about it.

Our drivers work all over Dubai, so every street in Al Nahda 1 and Al Nahda 2 is on the route. Neither trip is charged.

• At your door: near Al Mulla Plaza or Rashid Stadium? Add that to your building name and the driver will know which way to approach.

If your basket fills at about the same speed every week, a monthly plan is the budget-friendly wash and fold option for Al Nahda. We arrive on the same weekday without being asked again, and each bag costs less than a single booking.

• Essential: AED 250 a month for four bags, one per week. A good fit for one person or a couple.
• Family: AED 450 a month for eight bags, two per week, enough for uniforms, swimwear and pyjamas.
• One-off bag: need an extra one in a busy week? It is AED 65.

Choose your weekday and the bags are collected from your door each week. One WhatsApp message starts the plan.

A bag collected in Al Nahda is normally back within 24 hours, like most of Dubai. If your address falls outside that, we give you the return day before you confirm.

Need a same-day laundry service? Ask for express laundry delivery and place the order before 2 PM. Where express covers your address, the bag returns 5 hours after collection. Send your building name first and we will check.

• Name the mark. Oil on a collar, sun cream on a strap or ink on a school polo each get different treatment, so tell us which it is.
• Say what you've tried. Bleach, stain sticks and vinegar all limit what we can safely do afterwards.
• Shamal days. This summer wind carries sand across Dubai, so shake off any grit before packing. Never pack damp clothes either, because they sour fast in a closed bag.

The price listed for a garment is the whole price. Stain treatment, the hanger and the cover are all included, wherever in Al Nahda you live.

• Inspection: pockets emptied, care label read, seams and buttons checked, and any loose ones noted down.
• Stains: treated by hand before the wash, because warm water can set a mark.
• Cleaning: cool water for cottons and blends so they hold their size; specialist cleaning if the label asks for it.
• Drying: in filtered air rather than a tumble dryer, which keeps long dresses and kanduras at their proper length.
• Steaming: collar, cuffs and button strip first, then the body.
• Final checks: three of them, then a cover for the ride back to Al Nahda.

1. List what you have. "Five shirts, a suit and two kanduras" in a WhatsApp message is enough. Include your building, street and flat number and any crease preference.
2. Two bags. One for hanging clothes and one for folded washing, so each lands in the right service.
3. Free collection. The driver collects at your door, or at reception if your building has one.
4. Piece by piece. Each garment is cleaned and steamed before the next one starts.
5. Back on hangers. Standard turnaround is 24 hours across most of Dubai, and everything comes back covered.

If a morning commute would leave it creased, it is a clean and press item. From an Al Nahda home that typically means:

• Office shirts: oxford, poplin and non-iron cotton. The collar gets the longest.
• Blouses and skirts: delicate viscose, crepe or lawn cotton that wrinkles in a car seat.
• Suits and chinos: wool blends and smart trousers. We steam jackets on a form so the shoulders keep their line.
• Kanduras and thobes: steamed so the front falls straight from the neck.
• Ghutras: pressed flat into a square you can fold your own way.
• Abayas and jalabiyas: steam only for georgette and crepe, since pressure shines black cloth. A shayla can be added; ask the price in the chat.
• Kurta sets: one ticket covers kurta and sirwal.
• School shirts: worth sending before photo day or a concert.

• Washed at home but creased? Pressing steams the creases out without another wash.
• Beads, sequins, silk, lace or heavy wool? Dry cleaning uses solvent, which is kinder to these than water.
• Swimwear, gym kit, pyjamas, T-shirts? These end up in drawers, so use a Wash & Fold bag.

Look for the small iron symbol on the care label. Three dots allow about 200°C, for cotton and linen. Two dots allow about 150°C, for silk, wool and polyester blends. One dot, about 110°C, suits acrylic and some synthetics. A crossed-out iron means steam only.

• Dark crepe stays off the hot plate: black abayas and charcoal trousers would shine, so they are steamed.
• Collars and cuffs take longest: they are what people see first.
• Your crease: sharp, soft or none. Travelling? We can fold shirts flat for a suitcase. Tell us once and it goes on your ticket.
• Breathable covers: Dubai's summer humidity averages over 90%, and plastic holds damp against the cloth. A breathable cover keeps dust off while air still reaches the fabric.

Collecting hanging clothes costs nothing, just like folded laundry. A few details save the driver a wrong turn.

• Building, street and flat: send them with your pin, and mention a security desk if there is one.
• A nearby landmark: close to Al Mulla Plaza or Stadium metro station? Say so.
• Next door: we also collect free in Al Qusais and Al Mamzar.

Standard clean and press takes up to 24 hours from collection in Al Nahda, as in most of Dubai. Delicate fabrics can need longer. The time depends on the piece, and we tell you at pickup.

Need a shirt tonight? Order express before 2 PM. If your address is covered, it returns on its hanger five hours after collection. Cover depends on the exact address, so send your building name and street, then wait for our confirmation.

• Collar lines: hot weather leaves grey sweat and oil marks on white collars and kandura necks. The sooner it is sent, the more lifts out.
• Deodorant: white streaks on dark cloth and yellowing on light cloth. Tell us which you have, as each is treated differently.
• Oud and perfume oil: a darker patch on pale cotton. Point to the spot and name the scent.
• Barbecue grease and sun cream: leave them alone and tell us what they are.
• Extra requests: a button tightened, no crease, shirts folded for travel. Put it in your message and it goes on the ticket.

The price per piece covers the whole trip, from your door in Al Nahda and back again. For sheets and pillowcases that is our bed linen wash and fold: washed, dried through every seam and folded. We count items one by one and never weigh them. A pillowcase gets the same care as a king duvet and is simply done sooner.

• Hand inspection: seams, corners and any mark you told us about.
• Room to move: a king duvet needs a big drum. Squeezed in, only its surface gets wet.
• Gentle detergent: biodegradable and hypoallergenic, which counts when your face lies on a pillowcase for eight hours.
• Fully dry: a duvet stays in the dryer until the middle feels as dry as the edges. We test it by hand.
• Packed dry: nothing damp goes back to your flat.

A duvet cover is charged separately at AED 31, because it comes off and gets its own wash.

1. Send a list. "Two queen duvets, the spare-room sheets and the bath towels" works. Add your building, street, flat number and pin.
2. Receive a time. Our reply gives your pickup slot and return day together.
3. Pack it. Roll each duvet and tie it with string or a belt. Sheets and towels go in a second bag.
4. Free collection. The driver takes it at your door, or at reception if you have one.
5. Follow along. WhatsApp updates keep coming until it is back in Al Nahda.

Messages are answered at any hour, so you can book while you strip the beds late in the evening.

Duvets and comforters cost the same, AED 56, at any size up to king. We inspect them differently.

• Duvet: loose filling in a plain case, used inside a cover. The cover is removed and washed on its own price.
• Comforter: stitched in squares or lines with a patterned top, used without a cover. Pockets dry at different speeds, so we check every row of stitching.
• Blanket: AED 26 for standard size, more for larger.
• Bedcover: AED 29. It sits on top of the bed and collects dust, including fine sand carried in by the summer shamal. Mention any fringes or beads.

A torn seam or filling poking through? Send a photo and we will decide together whether it can take a wash.

Sheets and pillowcases are washed most often in summer, so they wear thin first.

• Sheets: AED 25, flat or fitted. Turn fitted ones inside out, as hair clips, earring backs and odd socks like to hide in the corners.
• Pillowcases: AED 9. Face cream and sun cream leave greasy patches. Point them out and don't scrub.
• Pillows: AED 19 each. If a pillow folds in half over your arm, the filling has gone for good. Memory foam isn't washed.
• Mattress protectors: AED 35. Heat can crack the waterproof layer, so send a photo of the label first.

Towels turn rough when old soap stays in the loops, so ours get two rinses and a full dry. Bath towels are AED 7 each and bathrobes AED 19.

• Gym and beach towels: sun cream and chlorine trapped overnight in a bag turn musty. Send them the same day if you can.
• Bathrobes: the thick collar dries last, so we feel it before folding. Pass the belt through a sleeve to keep the pair together.
• Bath mats: cotton is fine; a mat with a cracked rubber back should stay home.
• Sofa covers: AED 46 for a regular removable one. Number each cushion with a sticky note so every cover returns to its own.
• Tablecloths: AED 19. Let a spill dry, then say whether it was wine, oil or gravy.

A damp towel packed beside a duvet passes its moisture on. In Dubai's humid summer it soon reaches the filling.

Certain items can't go in a washing machine at all. Please keep these out:

• Electric blankets and anything with a heating wire.
• Memory foam pillows or mattress toppers.
• Weighted blankets filled with glass or plastic beads.
• Anything with a crossed-out washtub label. Photograph unclear labels and we will reply before the van leaves for Al Nahda.

Clothes are booked separately: everyday wear in a Wash & Fold bag, and shirts, kanduras or abayas that return hanging as Clean & Press. Pack one bag for each and the driver collects them together. More bedding advice is on our bedding and towel page.

With duvet and comforter laundering, drying takes the time. Down, feather or polyester, the filling stays wet inside long after the outside feels dry, and a damp duvet put away in a cupboard soon smells stale.

• 48 to 72 hours: the usual time away for a duvet, comforter or other thick item, counted from when it leaves your Al Nahda home.
• Return date up front: we confirm it in the WhatsApp chat where you booked.
