A 6kg bag holds more than most guests expect. Pack it, tie it and hand it over at Lavender Hotel Al Nahda, and we do the rest.

Your bag is opened and sorted by colour. Lights go in one load and darks in another, so a dark shirt cannot bleed on to your white ones. Anything delicate is set aside for a gentler cycle.

Each order is washed in its own machine, so your clothes are never mixed with another customer's. We do not run shared loads.

We use a commercial-grade detergent that is hypoallergenic and biodegradable. It rinses out well, so your clothes do not feel stiff or heavily scented.

When the cycle ends, the drum is cleaned before the next order goes in.

Low heat keeps cotton from shrinking and stretchy fabric from going hard. It is slower than a hot dryer, but your clothes last longer and fit the same on the last day of your stay as on the first.

When everything is dry, we fold it by hand. Tops, trousers and underwear come back in neat piles inside your bag, ready to go into the room wardrobe or straight into your suitcase.

Nothing is crushed into a corner or pulled out of shape.

Some clothes are better cleaned and pressed than washed in a bag. Guests often forget this until the night before a meeting.

When you book, tell us which pieces these are and we will take them out of the bag order.

Booking takes one WhatsApp message. Tell us you are at Lavender Hotel Al Nahda Dubai, what you want done and a time that suits you. We confirm the pickup with you.

Our driver comes to the lobby or concierge, if the hotel allows it. He counts the items with you and checks them, so there are no surprises later.

Straight after the check, we text a secure payment link to your phone. You can pay by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

We never take cash or card details in the lobby. Once you have paid, your clothes go out for cleaning and delivery.

We are an independent laundry, so for anything about the lobby or your room, speak to the hotel itself.

Tell us about delicate pieces and stains when you book, so we can treat them the right way before the wash.

• Delicates: knitwear, lace and stretchy tops get a gentle cycle and a low heat.
• Fresh stains: coffee, sauce and sunscreen are treated by hand first.

Please send stained pieces soon after the mark happens. Old marks are harder to lift, and a quick message helps us choose the right treatment.

Items that are already damaged, or have no care label, are washed at the owner's risk. We will tell you if we see a problem before we start, so you can decide.

If you are in Dubai for a month or more, a plan can work out cheaper than single bags, and you never need to think about it again.

The Essential plan is AED 250 each month for four bags, one a week. The Family plan is AED 450 each month for eight bags, two a week.

Dubai's balcony rules ban airing laundry outside, so please do not hang wet clothes over a balcony rail, even on a hot day. Hotel guests sometimes try it after a swim, and it can lead to a complaint.

The heat is strong here, with summer highs around 40 degrees, but the rule still applies. A wet towel or swimsuit on the rail is not worth the trouble.

It is easier to send a bag to us. We wash it, dry it properly indoors and bring it back folded.

Hotel towels and robes stay in your room. Only send your own clothes. That keeps your stay simple and your laundry fresh.

A shirt costs AED 18. We clean it, press it and return it on a hanger, ready to wear straight from the rail in your room.

• Short or long sleeve: the same price either way.
• Collars and cuffs: pressed flat and sharp.
• White shirts: checked for marks before cleaning.
• Coloured shirts: cleaned on the right process so the colour holds.
• Hanger: it goes straight into the wardrobe, no folding needed.

Business guests at Lavender Hotel Al Nahda often send four or five at once for a week of meetings.

Business guests often need a suit for an early meeting. Book before 2 PM and express suit pressing can bring it back the same day, if your address is covered.

A two piece suit is priced as one set. The jacket and trousers are cleaned together, so the colour and finish match. A single jacket can also be sent alone.

Send ties and shirts with it, and the whole outfit comes back on hangers, ready for the morning.

A kandura costs AED 15. Send it for a family visit, a wedding or an important meeting, and it comes back cleaned, pressed and on a hanger.

• Kandura or thobe: cleaned and pressed as one piece.
• Abaya: a plain abaya has one price and a delicate one has another.
• Jalabiya: cleaned and pressed, and returned on a hanger.
• Ghutra: pressed flat so it keeps its shape.

Men's and women's kurtas are priced separately, and each price is in the table above. Tell us if a piece has beading or fine fabric and we will handle it with extra care.

If a piece is clean but creased from the suitcase, we can steam press it without washing it. This suits shirts, trousers and dresses that only need freshening.

Tell us when you book that you want pressing only, and we will price it for you. Everything returns on a hanger, ready for your day.

Silk, wool and evening wear need a gentler process than a normal wash. This is guest dry cleaning for the pieces that matter most on a trip.

An evening dress for a wedding or gala dinner comes back clean, pressed and on a hanger, ready for the night. A suit for a conference does too. If you are not sure whether a piece can be cleaned, send us a message with the label and we will tell you.

We read the care label on every piece before we choose a process, so the fabric decides what happens, not the clock.

If there is no label, or the piece is already damaged, we clean it at the owner's risk and we tell you before we start.

Standard turnaround is within 24 hours. Express laundry delivery takes 5 hours, if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered.

Message us early with the time you need the clothes by, and we will tell you the quickest return we can do for your order.
