A 6kg bag holds about a week of light clothes for one person. Think of several T-shirts, a pair of jeans, underwear, socks and some gym kit. We sell these flat-rate laundry bags by size, not by item count. Pack it the night before, so it is ready when the driver arrives at Hampton Al Barsha.

If you have more, use the 12kg bag. It suits couples, families and long business trips. Fill it as full as you like within the weight limit, and we wash it all together as one order. Suits, evening dresses and traditional wear are better sent for Clean & Press.

One tip for a longer stay: keep a spare laundry bag at the hotel, drop clothes in it as the days pass, and call us when it is full. That way the pickup happens once, not every evening, and you do not stand at the lobby with a handful of socks.

When the bag reaches us, we open it and sort by colour and fabric. Whites, lights and darks are washed apart, so one new dark shirt cannot colour the rest. This matters most on trips, when one bag mixes work shirts, new things from the mall and sports kit.

Stretch sportswear is washed cool to protect the elastic. Your clothes are never mixed with another customer's, because each order has its own machine and a clean drum. If you are sending clothes for more than one person, say so in the chat and we keep them in separate loads where we can.

If a label says wash cool, it goes in cool. If a label is missing, we tell you before the wash, because an item with no care label is cleaned at the owner's risk.

We use a mild, biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent with a light scent. A new hotel bed and a new climate can irritate sensitive skin, so the clothes that rest against it should be gentle.

The washers are commercial-grade, so they handle a full travel bag well. The soap is still kind to skin and to baby clothes, and it breaks down naturally after the wash.

You do not need to ask for this detergent. It is the same for every order from the hotel, and a guest with a known allergy can mention it in the chat before the pickup.

Fresh, light-scented clothes are a small comfort when you travel. Nobody wants a strongly perfumed shirt at a meeting, and this detergent leaves a clean smell, not a heavy one.

Everything dries on low heat, which protects colours and keeps cotton from shrinking. Then each piece is folded and packed to go straight into a suitcase or a wardrobe drawer, so you spend no time sorting it out in your room.

This is why a bag that went out on Monday can be packed into your case on the morning of your flight. If you are flying out early, ask for the evening before as your delivery time and we plan around it, so you are not repacking at the lobby at dawn.

Because the pieces are folded flat, the bag is easy to unpack on a wardrobe shelf. Shirts that you want hanging are best sent for Clean & Press, where they return on hangers.

Hampton Al Barsha has a rooftop pool and a 24-hour gym, so many guests end the day with damp swimwear and sweaty kit. Put it in your bag, not in a wet pile in the bathroom, and the next collection takes it away.

If a mark came from something particular, such as a drink or a sauce, tell us. The cause helps us choose the treatment, though we cannot promise that old marks come out completely. Wet items are fine in the bag, but pack them separately from your dry shirts so the dry ones stay fresh until collection.

The same goes for towels from the pool deck. The hotel's own towels and robes stay in the room, so only your own kit goes into the bag.

Most orders are back within 24 hours, whether the bag is small or large.

If you cannot wait, book express before 2 PM. Your clothes can be at the hotel again 5 hours later, if your address is covered, and express costs nothing extra. It helps as same-day hotel laundry before a flight, a wedding or an early meeting.

Think about a plan if the stay runs past a few weeks. One bag a week is the Essential plan, AED 250 a month. The Family plan sends two bags each week and is AED 450 a month.

Single bags are AED 65 each. Plans are paid once a month and pickups happen on a weekday of your choice, so the schedule is easy to remember.

If your stay changes, tell us in the chat before the next pickup day and we adjust the plan with you. Longer stays are common here, because many guests are on work projects around Al Barsha.

You do not pay anything at the door. Once the driver has gone through your items with you, a secure payment link arrives by text. Debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work on it. Your bag is sent for delivery after the payment goes through.

Should a piece go missing or come back damaged, you receive up to 10 times what cleaning that piece would have cost. Anything that was already damaged, or that carries no care label, is cleaned at the owner's risk.

Point out anything fragile when the driver checks the bag, so it is noted from the start.

The driver explains the next step before he leaves, so you know when to expect the payment link and when your bag should be back.

A shirt that spent three days in a case looks tired in the meeting room. Hand it over in the evening and it comes back steamed, on a hanger.

A white shirt is the hardest. It shows every mark, so tell us about any coffee or sweat stain and we look at it first.

Suits are cleaned on the process that matches the cloth, then shaped and steamed by hand. Jacket and trousers come back together in a breathable bag, on hangers, ready for the room wardrobe.

Tell us when you will wear the suit. For a morning meeting, send it the evening before. If time is short, express suit pressing can have it back in 5 hours when booked before 2 PM, if your address is covered. A tie can go with it.

Check the pockets before you hand over a jacket, and tell us about any pen or key mark you already know about. A tie is cleaned on the same pickup.

Traditional wear is a normal part of our week, not a special request. Kanduras, ghutras, abayas, jalabiyas and kurtas are all priced per piece, and you can see each price in the table above.

If you are staying for a family occasion or for work, send what you will wear a day before. Everything comes back on hangers with no suitcase creases, ready to put on in your room before you leave the hotel.

A winter coat is priced as one piece. Many guests bring one for a cold home country or for a trip to the snow at Ski Dubai, which is close to the hotel. We clean it before it goes back in your case, so it is fresh when you land at home.

Send it on a hanger if you can, and tell us about any marks. Coats take a little longer to dry, so book the pickup a couple of days before you fly if you can.

Warm coats should be sent clean before packing. Stored dirty, a mark sets, and it is harder to remove at home.

A dress for a wedding or a gala dinner needs more care than a daily shirt. Tell us the fabric, the colour and any marks from earlier, and we read the care label before we start.

Send it at least a day early if you can. Standard is 24 hours and delicate pieces take longer, so book the pickup early. We tell you the time when we collect.

If you also have a pair of shoes for the event, we can collect those in the same pickup and clean them separately.

Need a suit or a shirt the same day? Book before 2 PM and we can return it in 5 hours, if your address is covered. There is no extra express fee.

Message us first with the time you need it by, and say which pieces are urgent. We then plan the pickup around your deadline. This is the quickest way to get express suit pressing before a client lunch or an evening event near Al Barsha 1 Street.

A shirt or a blouse is usually the quickest to turn around. A coat or a heavily decorated dress takes longer, so send those first.

Pressed clothes come back on hangers and in breathable bags, so they stay smooth on the way to your room. Hang them as soon as you are back and they are ready to wear.

Pressing only is also available, for clothes that are clean but creased from the case. Pieces that need washing first go through Clean & Press instead. If you are not sure which one you need, send a photo in the chat and we will say.

The covers are light and easy to carry up to your room. Take each piece out of its bag and hang it up as soon as you can.

We look after each piece with care, but sometimes things go wrong. For a lost or damaged item, you receive up to 10 times its cleaning price.

A piece that was already damaged, or one with no care label, is cleaned at the owner's risk. We tell you this before we start, so nothing is a surprise when the order returns.

The driver goes through the list with you at pickup, and you pay by the secure link afterwards, so everything is agreed before cleaning begins.

Keep your phone nearby when the driver arrives. He will go through the items with you, and you can ask for any piece to be noted on the order.
