Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Hyatt Place Jumeirah

Most people are surprised how much fits. For a hotel stay, 6kg is about a week of T-shirts, underwear, socks, jeans, shorts, gym kit and swimwear. The price is AED 65 however you fill it, so pack it full.

Leave out suits, dresses, silk and anything marked dry clean only. Those go on the Clean & Press list. Mention anything delicate when you message us and the driver will set it aside.

A second, larger 12kg bag is also available at a flat price, which suits two travellers or a stay of a week or more. The driver weighs nothing in front of you, so there is nothing to argue over at the lobby.

When your bag arrives, we look through it by hand. Whites, darks and colours are separated, and any stain gets treated before it goes in the machine.

Your clothes are washed with a mild, hypoallergenic detergent and, as a rule, in a machine of their own. That keeps your things apart from other guests' laundry.

Whites are kept apart from colours, and heavy items such as jeans are washed apart from light tops. Anything that could run in the wash is flagged by the sorter. Tell us in your message if a piece is new or bright, because new dyes often bleed.

After washing, your clothes are dried on a low heat so cotton and stretch fabrics keep their shape. Each piece is folded by hand and packed in the bag it came in.

The bag goes back to the hotel by our driver and is handed over at the lobby or concierge, if the hotel allows it. A text tells you when the driver is close.

Everyday clothes stay in the bag they arrived in, so they are easy to carry back up to the room. Tell us if you want shirts hung instead of folded and we move them to Clean & Press.

Some things are better off in the Clean & Press service. Silk, wool, structured jackets and beaded or sequinned pieces can be damaged in a normal wash.

If you are not sure, send it with the bag and write a note on your message. We will tell you if it should be moved to dry cleaning before it is washed.

Bras, swimwear and stretch gym kit are fine in the bag. Leather, fur and anything with a dry clean only label should be sent separately. The driver can tell you which list a piece belongs on when they check your items.

Normal turnaround is 24 hours. That means a bag collected in the morning is usually back at Hyatt Place Jumeirah the next day. It is the next-day laundry service most guests choose, since it lands before checkout.

For something urgent, express can return pieces in 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered. There is no express fee. Write to us first so the driver can confirm the slot, and keep your phone close for the secure payment link.

Plan the order around your check-out, your flight and your meetings. A bag collected on the morning of a check-out is best sent with express, so that it is back before you leave.

Our driver collects from the lobby or concierge, if the hotel allows it. Tell us your name, room number and the time that suits you, and we confirm by message.

This is contactless pickup and delivery. The driver checks the items with you, we text a payment link, and the bag comes back to the same place. We are not part of the hotel, so confirm with the front desk first that the handover is fine.

If the front desk will not allow driver handover, tell us. We can arrange a different pickup point close to Hyatt Place Jumeirah, which we confirm by message.

If you visit Dubai often, or live nearby and stay in hotels in between, a plan can cost less than single bags. Essential is AED 250 each month, and Family is AED 450 each month.

A single bag is AED 65 and needs no commitment. Compare the three before you decide, and ask us if you are unsure which suits your trips.

Both plans have a fixed monthly price and free pickup and delivery. Message us for the details of how the bags are scheduled.

Payment happens after the driver has checked your items. We text you a secure link, and you pay with a debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Nothing is paid in the lobby, in cash or by card. Once the payment goes through, your clothes are sent out for delivery.

If we lose or damage a piece, we cover up to 10 times what it cost to clean. A piece that was already damaged, or has no care label, is cleaned at your own risk.

Message us at any hour if you think something is missing. We check against the list the driver recorded at pickup.

The price is for cleaning and pressing, not for one or the other alone. Your piece is checked by hand, cleaned on the process that suits the fabric, steam pressed and put on a hanger.

You are not charged for the driver, for delivery to the hotel or for express. The price you see beside each item is what you pay. We text a secure payment link once the driver has checked your items.

Items such as a suit are priced as a set, so a jacket and trousers sent together come back together.

A suit for a morning meeting should be on the hanger before breakfast. Book express suit pressing by 2 PM and it can be back within 5 hours, if we cover your address. The two-piece suit price includes the jacket and trousers together.

Send a tie with it and it will come back at the same time.

Tell us if you need the suit for a wedding or a dinner. It tells the driver which pieces to take first, and we plan the day around it.

Traditional clothes are a large part of what guests send us. A kandura is AED 15. A basic abaya and a delicate abaya are priced differently, so say which yours is. Ghutra, jalabiya and kurta all have their own price in the table above.

We check collars and cuffs first, where yellow marks tend to show. Then the garment is cleaned, pressed and returned on a hanger, ready for a wedding, a family visit or a Friday gathering.

Tell us if there is beading or embroidery, because we treat those pieces more carefully.

Hand-embroidered or beaded pieces are better sent on their own so nothing catches in the bag. Tell the driver which pieces are your best, and which ones carry sentimental value.

A shirt is AED 18, cleaned and pressed, returned on a hanger. If you only need the creases out, ask for pressing only. For everyday shirts you will wear casually, the Wash & Fold bag works well.

The price is the same for long or short sleeves. Collars are pressed flat, and each shirt comes back on its own hanger, so it can go straight into the wardrobe. For several shirts, a wardrobe rail makes it easy to carry them. Ask for light starch if you like your collars firm.

Care labels are rows of tiny symbols. A circle stands for dry cleaning. A tub is water washing, and the dots or number inside show the heat. A triangle is bleach, and a square with a circle inside is the tumble dryer.

The pressing symbol uses dots for heat. One dot is cool, two is medium and three is hot. If it is crossed out, the piece should not be pressed hot.

If you cannot read a label, send the piece and we choose the safe process. Items with no label at all are cleaned at your own risk, so tell the driver. Never mind if the label has worn off. Send the piece anyway.

Sometimes a piece is clean but creased from the suitcase. Pressing only skips the wash and gives you a steam press and a hanger. It is quicker and costs less than a full clean.

Many guests use it for shirts, trousers and blouses after a flight.

Pressing only is a good fit for trousers, shirts and blouses that came out of a suitcase and nothing more. The price is lower than a full clean, and the piece is back on a hanger.

We treat each stain by hand before cleaning, so tell us what caused it. Some marks, such as old oil or dye, may not come out fully. If we think a stain is permanent, we say so when we check the item, not after.

If a stain needs a second treatment, we will tell you when we check the piece and ask whether you would like us to try again.

Book by 2 PM and pieces can come back within 5 hours when we cover your address. There is no express fee. This is express laundry delivery for a dinner tonight, a wedding or an early flight tomorrow.
