Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Jumeirah Al Qasr

Every bag from Jumeirah Al Qasr goes through the same five steps, whether it holds a few T-shirts or a full suitcase of clothes. A half-empty bag costs the same as a full one.

• Sorted by hand: lights go with lights and darks with darks. Lace, sheer tops and stretchy fabrics wait for a cooler wash.
• Checked for marks: collars, underarms and cuffs are looked at before the wash, because sweat and sunscreen set quickly in warm weather.
• Washed gently: a biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent and a long rinse.
• Dried on low: a cool tumble keeps T-shirts the right size.
• Folded: piece by piece, checked once more and bagged for the return to the hotel.

Wash and fold does not include pressing. For a shirt that has to be crisp, choose Clean & Press.

Pack the clothes you wear day to day. Most guests fill a bag with these.

• T-shirts, shorts and jeans: the everyday things that pile up in a suitcase.
• Gym kit and swimwear: rinse swimwear first if you can, so salt and sunscreen do not sit in the bag.
• Socks and underwear: they are washed with the rest and come back folded.
• Nightwear and loungewear: washed gently and folded flat.

Towels and robes from your room stay in your room. Please empty every pocket before you pack.

Before anything is washed, each bag is opened and looked through by hand. We are checking three things.

• Care labels: a piece that says cool wash, or no tumble drying, is set aside and handled that way.
• Stains: we spot marks around collars and cuffs, and treat them by hand before the wash. Tell us what caused the mark.
• Pockets: room keys, cards and loose change cause trouble in the machine, so we look.

Anything already damaged, or with no care label, is cleaned at your own risk. We tell you before we start, and you can take it out of the order.

A short stay of three or four nights fits in one 6kg bag, which is AED 65. A 12kg bag, at AED 120, suits a week or a family trip when two people send clothes together. These flat-rate laundry bags cost the same however full they are.

• 6kg bag: a long weekend or a business trip.
• 12kg bag: a holiday week, or clothes from two guests.

Most guests ask us how the handover works at a hotel, so here it is in order.

• You message us: send Jumeirah Al Qasr, your room number and a time that suits you.
• We agree the spot: the lobby or the concierge desk, if the hotel allows it. If it does not, we will tell you another place nearby.
• The driver checks with you: your bag is looked through at the handover, so you both know what is in it.
• You pay by link: no cash and no cards are taken in the lobby.

LPlaundry is independent of the hotel, so book with us directly on WhatsApp and not through the front desk.

You never pay at the door. Once the driver has checked your items, we text a secure payment link to your phone, so it is contactless pickup and delivery from start to finish.

• Debit and credit cards: pay with the card you already carry.
• Apple Pay and Google Pay: open the link and pay with a tap.
• No cash: nobody takes cash or cards in the lobby.

Clothes go out for delivery as soon as the payment goes through. You see the price on the link before you pay.

If your stay at Jumeirah Al Qasr runs past a week, a plan can cost less than single bags. Each plan is paid monthly and has a set pickup day.

• One-off bag: AED 65 each time you need it.
• Essential plan: one bag a week for AED 250 a month.
• Family plan: two bags a week for AED 450 a month.

For a short trip, a single bag is simpler. Ask on WhatsApp if you are unsure which suits you better.

We look after every piece, and mistakes are rare. If one happens, here is what we do.

• Lost or damaged items: we cover the loss, up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.
• Already damaged pieces: clothes that are already damaged are cleaned at your own risk.
• No care label: the same applies, so tell us what it is made of.

Message us on WhatsApp as soon as you notice a problem, and we will sort it out with you.

Clean & Press is for pieces that should come back crisp and on a hanger, not folded in a bag. Guests at Jumeirah Al Qasr usually send these.

• Shirts and blouses: for meetings, dinners and flights.
• Suits and jackets: for conferences, weddings and business trips.
• Evening dresses: for galas and celebrations.
• Kanduras, abayas and ghutras: for events and family visits.
• Coats: cleaned after the trip.

A shirt is AED 18. It is cleaned, steam pressed and returned on a hanger, so it can go straight into the wardrobe. Send it the evening before, and it can be back at the hotel for breakfast.

A kandura is AED 15. It is checked for marks around the collar and cuffs, cleaned and then steamed from top to bottom. A plain abaya, a ghutra, a jalabiya and a kurta each have their own price in the table above.

Guests who travel to Dubai for a wedding or a family event often send their traditional wear a day ahead. Pieces that carry beads or embroidery are handled by hand, so tell us when you book.

A two-piece suit is priced as one item. A single jacket is priced on its own. Both come back pressed and hung in a breathable bag.

Every piece follows the same steps, from the moment the driver checks it to the moment it comes back to the hotel.

• Checked for stains: marks are treated by hand before cleaning.
• Cool-water wash: a cooler wash helps stop clothes shrinking.
• Dried gently: in filtered air, so fabrics keep their shape.
• Steam pressed by hand: collars, cuffs and pleats come back sharp.
• Checked three times: before it is sent back.

It takes a little longer than a bag wash, but the finish is far closer to what you would expect from a good dry cleaner.

Your clean pieces come back on proper hangers and inside breathable bags. That keeps shirts and suits crisp until you wear them.

Standard Clean & Press comes back in 24 hours. Delicate pieces, such as fine silk or heavily beaded wear, can take longer. It depends on the piece, and we tell you the time at pickup. If you need something sooner, ask for express laundry delivery on WhatsApp. It is 5 hours when you book before 2 PM.

You do not pay in the lobby. After the driver checks your items, we text you a secure link, and you pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. If an item is lost or damaged, we cover up to 10 times its cleaning price. Items that are already damaged or have no care label are cleaned at your own risk.
