Every bag goes through the same steps, whether it holds three days of clothes or ten. Nothing is skipped for a small bag, and nothing costs extra for a big one.

• Checked and sorted: the bag is emptied and each piece is looked at. Whites, light colours, darks and denim go in separate loads.
• Marks treated: sweat, sunscreen and food marks get attention before the wash, while they are easier to lift.
• Washed and rinsed: we use a mild, biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent, so there is no heavy scent left in your clothes.
• Dried and folded: low heat, then a proper fold.

The same standard applies to every guest. We do not rush a bag just because it came from a hotel, and a short-stay bag gets the same checks as a month-long one.

Think of the clothes you wear day to day on a trip. All of them can share the same bag and the same price.

• Tops and bottoms: T-shirts, polos, jeans, shorts, joggers and leggings.
• Underwear and socks: washed hot enough to be clean, cool enough to be kind to the fabric.
• Sleepwear and loungewear: soft, easy pieces that do not need pressing.
• Kids' play clothes: if you travel with children, their things go in too.

Silk, beaded pieces and anything that needs a sharp press belongs in Clean & Press.

If you are unsure about a piece, add it to the bag and write a note on WhatsApp. We tell you before washing if it should go to dry cleaning instead.

The 24-hour fitness centre and the pool mean a lot of damp, sweaty clothes by day three. Do not leave them to sour in a plastic bag.

• Gym kit: leggings, vests and socks are washed on a gentle setting so the stretch holds.
• Swimwear: rinsed well to take out salt and chlorine, then dried flat or on low heat.
• Beach days: if you take the hotel shuttle to the beach club, put sandy clothes in the bag too.

Hotel towels and robes stay in your room. Only your own clothes go with the driver.

Pack damp swimwear in a separate pouch for the driver, so it does not wet the rest of the bag on the way.

The biggest worry with a mixed bag is colour. A new red top can turn a white shirt pink in one wash.

We split each bag by colour and by fabric before anything goes in the machine. Lights wash with lights and darks with darks. Heavy denim is kept away from thin tops, since the rough cloth wears them down. If you have a piece you think may run, tell the driver or message us. We wash it alone.

It sounds small, but it is the step that stops dull whites and faded darks after a few washes. It is also why a travel bag can look like new again when it comes back.

After the wash, clothes are dried on low heat. High heat shrinks cotton and ruins stretch, so we avoid it.

• Folded flat: shirts, tees and trousers are folded so they pack into a suitcase without much creasing.
• One neat parcel: the whole order comes back together, with no loose socks left behind.
• Returned to the hotel: the driver brings it to the lobby or concierge, where you have agreed to meet, if the hotel allows it.

If you check out before the bag is due, tell us on WhatsApp and we will see what can be done about the time.

Folding in the lobby is not needed. Your bag is closed and sealed at our end, and you only open it back in your room.

Wash and fold is usually back within 24 hours. That suits most stays: hand over the bag in the morning, and get it back the next day.

• Standard: back within 24 hours. This is next-day laundry service for most hotel addresses.
• Express: 5 hours if you book before 2 PM, if your address is covered. This is our same-day laundry service for urgent bags.
• Late booking: after 2 PM, we plan for the next day.

Send your hotel name on WhatsApp first and we will confirm express cover before you hand anything over.

For a Friday departure, book on Wednesday or Thursday so there is time to spare. Same-day cover depends on your address, so check first.

Staying in Dubai for weeks, or coming back often? A plan can work out neater than single bags.

• One bag: AED 65 each time you need it, with no sign-up.
• Essential plan: AED 250 a month, paid once a month.
• Family plan: AED 450 a month, with two bags every week.

Plans suit long stays, relocations and teams. A short trip is simpler with one bag at a time.

You can move from a single bag to a plan at any time. Just tell us on WhatsApp which one you want, and we set it up.

Here are the questions we hear most from hotel guests.

• Can I send just a few things? Yes. The bag price is the same, so it is better to fill it.
• Do I need to count my items? No. We do not count pieces for wash and fold.
• What if something is already damaged? Tell the driver. Items that are already damaged, or have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk.
• Is there a cap on the weight? The bag takes up to 6kg. A larger bag, up to 12kg, has its own price.

If your question is not here, write it on WhatsApp. Someone will answer at any hour, even while you are in the air.

Each piece gets its own check, wash or clean, and press. This takes longer than the bag, and it shows in the finish.

• Checked: we read the label and look for stains and weak spots.
• Cleaned: a cool-water wash, or dry cleaning where the label says so.
• Dried: in filtered air, never with harsh heat.
• Steamed by hand: collars, sleeves and fronts are shaped to sit properly.
• Hung and covered: breathable covers keep it fresh for the trip back to your room.

Because every piece is handled on its own, the finish is sharper than a bag wash. That is why it costs per piece.

Sometimes your shirt is clean but crushed from the suitcase. In that case you only need a press, and you pay the pressing price, not the cleaning one.

Tell the driver which pieces are pressing only. We steam them and send them back on hangers, usually within 24 hours.

It is the quickest way to get a creased shirt ready. Just tell the driver which pieces are pressing only when they check your items.

Most guests who use Clean & Press have somewhere to be. A wedding, a conference dinner, a family visit or a flight home.

• Suits: the jacket and trousers are cleaned together so the colour matches. Hang the suit in a cover for the lobby handover.
• Evening dresses: checked for make-up and drink marks, then cleaned on the right process.
• Kanduras: collar and cuffs are checked, then the full length is steamed.

Give us the date and time you need each piece. We plan the pickup around it, and for tight timings we tell you honestly if express will not fit.

If your event is formal, mention it. We take extra care with silk, satin and fine wool, and we say so if a piece is too fragile to promise a result.

Traditional wear is priced per piece. A plain abaya costs less than a delicate one, and the label tells us which it is. Tell the driver about beads or embroidery so we look after them.

Ghutras and jalabiyas are pressed to hold their shape and returned on hangers or folded, as you ask when you book.

The symbols on a care label tell you how a piece should be cleaned. You do not need to learn them all, but a few are worth knowing.

• A tub: machine or hand washable. A number inside is the highest wash temperature.
• A circle: dry clean only. A letter inside tells the cleaner which process to use.
• A triangle: bleach is allowed. A crossed triangle means do not bleach.
• An iron with dots: more dots mean a hotter press. One dot is the coolest.
• A cross over any symbol: do not do that.

If your label is gone or unreadable, tell us. Items with no care label are cleaned at your own risk.

If the label shows a circle, yes. Silk, wool suits and structured jackets usually do. Cotton shirts and plain trousers usually do not.

If you are not sure, ask us on WhatsApp with a photo of the label. We tell you which service is right before the driver arrives.

Plan back from the time you need the piece. A standard order is back within 24 hours. Delicate pieces can take longer. If you are short on time, ask about express on WhatsApp before 2 PM. It takes 5 hours, if your address is covered.

Before a flight, hand over the piece at least a day ahead if you can, so there is room to fix any delay.

We take great care, but things can go wrong. If an item is lost or damaged while with us, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.

Items that were already damaged, or have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk. Tell the driver about any weak spots when they check your items. That way, we both know the condition before the piece goes for cleaning.
