Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in JVC

Every bag from JVC is treated the same way, from a studio flat to a four-bedroom villa by Circle Park.

• Pockets checked: we take out keys, coins, tissues and pens. One pen can mark a whole load.
• Split by colour: whites and pale colours wash together. Black clothes and dark denim get a wash of their own. Lace and mesh go in cooler water.
• Stains first: coffee, curry and sweat marks get worked on before the wash. A stain that goes through the dryer can stay for good.
• A gentle wash: we use biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent, then rinse it all out well. Clothes smell clean, not perfumed.
• Cool drying: it keeps cotton the right size and waistbands springy.
• Hand folded: each piece is folded and looked over once more. Then the bag is packed and driven back to JVC.

This bag is for clothes that go in drawers. Shirts and kanduras that hang belong in Clean & Press.

1. WhatsApp us. Share your location pin and the name and number of your building or villa. You don't need an app. Tell us your district too, from 10 to 19, as it helps the driver.
2. Fill the bag. Only everyday clothes. Empty the pockets first, because one tissue leaves bits on everything. Write your name and flat or villa number on the bag.
3. We pick it up. The driver collects from your door, or from reception if your building has one. There's no charge.
4. We clean it. Everything is sorted, washed gently, dried cool and folded.
5. We bring it back. We WhatsApp you when the driver leaves for JVC. Delivery is free as well.

Work shirts too? Put them in a second bag for Clean & Press and say so when you book. One driver takes both bags.

If it's fine in your machine at home, it's fine in our bag. Anything with a hand wash only or do not wash label stays out. A normal bag from JVC might include:

• Gym clothes: training tops, leggings, shorts and socks.
• Relaxed work wear: polo shirts and plain T-shirts that you fold rather than hang.
• Weekend clothes: jeans, joggers and hoodies. Dark jeans are best turned inside out.
• Swimwear: costumes, rash vests and swim shorts. Give them a quick rinse under the tap and dry them off before they go in.
• Summer clothes: cotton, linen and light dresses. In July and August, Dubai's highs are around 43°C. These clothes get washed a lot then.
• Kids' clothes: school uniform, pyjamas and playwear. Close any zips first.

The bag takes everyday clothes only. We still clean everything below, each at its own price. Book it all together and one driver collects from your JVC home.

• Office shirts, suits, abayas and kanduras: these go under Clean & Press. Each one has its own price and comes back hung.
• Silk, wool, sequins and beadwork: water can spoil them, so book dry cleaning for these.
• Bath and pool towels: these belong in Bed & Bath, which charges per towel.
• Hand-wash jumpers and bras with wires: please keep these out. Not sure about a label? WhatsApp us a photo and we'll check.
• Curtains, rugs and trainers: see their own services further up the page.

We sort everything from JVC before it goes near a machine. This is what we look for.

• Dye: new jeans and bright cottons can bleed for the first few washes. So they never go in with your whites.
• Weight: jeans and metal zips rub against thin tops and make them bobble. So they're washed in a different load.
• One machine per customer: your load goes into a machine on its own, never mixed with anyone else's.
• Sanitised drums: we clean the machine after your load comes out and before the next one goes in.
• Detergent: commercial-grade, biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Leftover soap in sports kit can itch when it's humid, so we rinse well.
• Low-heat drying: hot drying makes cotton smaller and elastic slack. We feel waistbands, cuffs and seams for damp before folding.
• A last look: if a button is hanging or a mark refused to budge, we'll tell you on WhatsApp.

JVC is on our regular Dubai route, and pickup and delivery are free.

• Which homes: apartment buildings, villas and townhouses in every JVC district, from 10 to 19. Give us the name of your building or villa and its number.
• Where we collect: outside your front door. Reception is fine too, if your building has one.
• Finding you: Al Khail Road runs along one side of JVC and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road along the other. Districts 17 and 18 are near the Hessa Street and Al Khail Road entrances. Your district number helps the driver most.
• Circle Villas: the four-bedroom villas in District 19 are set around Circle Park. Tell us if you live there.
• Close by: pickup is free in Jumeirah Village Triangle as well.

Sending a bag from JVC most weeks? Our monthly plans are the budget-friendly wash and fold option. We pick up on the same day every week, so you don't have to book each time. Every bag on a plan costs less than a single bag.

• Essential: AED 250 a month. It covers four bags, collected one a week. Good for one or two people.
• Family: AED 450 a month. It covers eight bags, collected two a week. Room for school uniform, gym kit and swimwear.
• Pay as you go: AED 65 a bag, any time you need one.

Bags collected in JVC are usually back within 24 hours. That's our standard time for most of Dubai.

For a same-day laundry service, ask for express laundry delivery and book before 2 PM. If your address is covered, the bag comes back 5 hours after pickup. Some addresses are outside the express area, so ask in the chat first.

• Where's the mark? Curry on a cuff, sun cream on a neckline, juice down a school shirt. Tell us where to look.
• What have you tried? If you've used bleach, hot water or a spray, the mark can be tougher to lift. Mention it.
• Dry it first: sweaty gym kit left closed up in a bag starts to smell in the summer heat. Hang it up for an hour first.

The price you see for a shirt from JVC is the full price. You don't pay extra for stain work, the hanger or the cover.

• Checked on arrival: we empty pockets, read the label and note any loose buttons.
• Stains treated by hand: heat can set a mark, so we treat it by hand before any washing.
• The right clean: cotton and cotton mixes are washed in cool water, which stops shrinking. Fabrics that need specialist care get it.
• Dried on hangers: no tumble dryer, just clean filtered air, so sleeve length stays right.
• Steamed in order: we do the collar and cuffs, then the front panels, and the back and sleeves last.
• Three checks before it's covered and taken back to JVC.

1. List what's going. For example, "two kanduras, five shirts and some chinos". Add your building or villa, the number, your district and how you like creases.
2. Use two bags. Keep hanging clothes apart from folded washing so nothing gets mixed up.
3. Free pickup. Your door is fine. So is reception, if your building has one.
4. One piece at a time. We don't start a new garment until the last one is done.
5. Returned on hangers. They normally return the next day in a cover that breathes, ready to hang up.

Here's a quick test: does it look creased after one wear? Then clean and press suits it. From a JVC wardrobe, that might be:

• Work shirts: poplin, oxford and twill cotton. Every shirt starts at the collar.
• Blouses and skirts: viscose, crepe and fine cotton crease quickly and are happiest on a hanger.
• Suits and chinos: usually a wool or cotton mix. We steam jackets on a tailor's dummy so the lapels stay flat.
• Kanduras and thobes: often white cotton or poly-cotton, steamed until the front is smooth.
• Ghutras: smoothed on a flat table. We leave the folding to you.
• Abayas and jalabiyas: we use only steam on georgette and crepe, so black fabric keeps its matte look. For a shayla, ask us on WhatsApp for a price.
• Kurta sets: both pieces of the set travel together under one ticket.
• School shirts: good to send before school photos, so the collar sits neat.

• Clean already, just creased? Pressing takes out the creases without another wash.
• Silk, lace, heavy wool, sequins or beads? Water can damage these, so dry cleaning protects them better.
• Is it just tees, socks, nightwear and gym shorts? Drawer clothes go in a Wash & Fold bag.

Still unsure? Take a photo of the label and WhatsApp it over. You'll get an answer before the driver comes to JVC.

Care labels show the safe heat with one, two or three dots. Our steamer never goes above that setting. Three dots is for cotton and linen, around 200°C. Two dots covers wool, silk and polyester blends, around 150°C. One dot is for synthetics such as acrylic, around 110°C. If the symbol is crossed out, we use steam only.

• No hot plate on dark crepe: it can leave a shine, so black abayas and dark trousers get steam only.
• Extra care at the collar and cuffs: they're what people notice first.
• Your crease is saved: tell us sharp, light or none, or ask for a travel fold. We write it down so the next order matches.
• Covers that breathe: Dubai's summer humidity can average over 90%, and plastic would trap it. Our covers keep dust out and let damp escape on the drive back to JVC.

Hanging clothes are collected free from anywhere in JVC, just like a wash and fold bag.

• What to send: your building or villa name, the flat or villa number and a location pin.
• A landmark helps: Circle Mall, Circle Park or your district number tells the driver where to go.
• Close by: pickup is free in Al Barsha South and The Springs too.

Hanging clothes collected in JVC are usually back the next day. That's the usual 24 hours we work to in most of Dubai. Delicate fabrics can take longer, depending on the piece. You'll hear the time at pickup.

Need a shirt back today? Book before 2 PM. If your address is in the express area, it comes back 5 hours after pickup. Some addresses aren't covered, so send us the name of your building or villa and we'll check.

Booking a pickup in JVC? Tell us about any of these marks.

• Spills: tea or ketchup on a work shirt. Say what it was.
• Yellow collars: summer in Dubai reaches around 43°C. Sweat builds up inside white collars and kandura necks. The sooner we treat it, the better it comes out.
• Deodorant: white marks on dark clothes, yellow marks on pale ones. They're treated in different ways, so tell us which.
• Perfume oil and oud: these can leave a ring on light cotton. Point to the spot and tell us which oil it was.
• Anything else: a button to sew back on, a travel fold, or no crease at all. Add it to your message.

The price of each item covers pickup from your JVC home, the cleaning and the trip back. For sheets and pillowcases, bed linen wash and fold means we wash them, make sure the seams are dry and fold them flat. A small pillowcase is cleaned with the same care as a big duvet. It's simply quicker to dry.

• Checked by hand: we look at seams, corners and any stain you told us about.
• A sanitised machine of your own: no one else's bedding goes in with yours. A duvet needs room to tumble. If it's crammed in, the water can't reach the middle.
• Mild detergent: biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Pillowcases need it most, as they touch your face every night.
• Dried right through: a duvet comes out only when the middle is as dry as the edges. The outside dries first, so we feel the filling by hand rather than trusting the timer.
• Bagged dry: nothing goes into a bag damp. Then it's on its way back to JVC.

A duvet cover is AED 31. We take it off the duvet and wash it on its own.

1. Send us a list. Say, "one king duvet, six pillowcases and the bath towels". Add your JVC building or villa, the number, your district and a location pin.
2. We send the times: a pickup slot and the day it all comes back.
3. Pack it. Each duvet goes in a bag of its own, rolled tight. Put the sheets and towels together in another.
4. Free collection. From your front door, or reception if your building has one, at no cost.
5. We keep you posted. Messages come on WhatsApp until it's delivered.

You can message us on WhatsApp any time of day. Friends coming to stay tomorrow and the spare bed needs clean sheets? You can still book the night before.

Duvets and comforters cost AED 56 each, single size up to king. But each one is cleaned a little differently.

• Duvet: the soft filled part you put inside a cover. The cover is priced and washed on its own.
• Comforter: quilted all over with stitching, often with a print, and used as it is. The stitched pockets dry at different rates, so we check every one.
• Blanket: AED 26 for a standard size. Larger ones cost more.
• Bedcover: AED 29. It's the top layer of the bed, so it gathers dust. When the shamal blows, fine sand gets into JVC homes too. Let us know about any beads, tassels or fringe on it.

Is a seam split, or is filling leaking out? Send a photo first and we'll say if it's safe to wash.

Sheets and pillowcases are changed much more often than a duvet in Dubai's heat. That's why they wear out first.

• Sheets: AED 25 each, fitted or flat. Turn fitted sheets inside out, since socks love to hide in the corners.
• Pillowcases: AED 9. Cotton picks up face cream and hair oil, which leave greasy patches. Tell us where they are. Please don't scrub them first.
• Pillows: AED 19 each. Try this: bend the pillow in half, then let it go. A pillow that stays folded has a tired filling, and a wash can't bring that back. Memory foam must stay dry.
• Mattress protectors: AED 35. High heat can ruin the waterproof backing. Please WhatsApp us the label first.

Sending bedding from every room of a JVC villa or townhouse? Tell us how many sets go with each bedroom. That makes it easy to check everything comes back.

Towels are AED 7 each and bathrobes AED 19. Soap left in a towel makes it scratchy, so every towel is rinsed twice and dried right through.

• Pool towels: book them soon after a swim. A wet towel shut in a bag overnight begins to smell.
• Gym towels: small sweat towels get damp quickly. Let them air out before you pack them.
• Bathrobes: the thick collar dries last, and we check it twice before folding. Put the belt in a pocket so it doesn't go missing.
• Sofa covers: a standard cover that zips off is AED 46. As you take each cover off, note which cushion it came from. Brush off pet hair first.
• Tablecloths: AED 19. Let any spill dry. Then tell us what it was, like coffee, gravy or juice.

Don't pack a wet towel next to a duvet. In Dubai's humid summer, the filling soon soaks up moisture.

These aren't safe in any washing machine, so please keep them at home in JVC:

• Electric blankets and anything else with a plug or wires.
• Weighted blankets, which have glass or plastic pellets inside.
• Mattress toppers and pillows with memory foam inside.
• Anything labelled 'do not wash'. Not sure? Message us a label photo and we'll reply before the driver comes.

Clothes are booked on their own. T-shirts, jeans and other everyday wear go in Wash & Fold. Shirts and abayas on hangers go in Clean & Press. Use one bag per service and a single driver collects them all. Our home linen guide has more bedding care tips.

With duvet and comforter laundering, the wait is all in the drying. The cover dries fairly fast, but the filling doesn't. Feather, down and polyester filling keep water inside them for hours. A duvet put away slightly damp will smell musty, even in an air-conditioned room.

• 48 to 72 hours: that's how long thick bedding from JVC stays with us, because the middle must dry as well as the outside.
• Return day: we'll put it in the chat once you've booked.
