Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Arjaan by Rotana

Wash and fold is the simple side of our hotel laundry service. You fill a bag with clothes that go in a washing machine, and we return them clean, dry and folded. It suits guests at Arjaan by Rotana who are away for a week or more and do not want to wash in the bathroom sink.

A bag at the hotel front desk is easier than a pile of clothes in the room, and the flat price makes it simple to plan your spending.

Almost anything you wear every day can go in the bag. Think of the clothes you would put in a machine at home.

• T-shirts, shorts and underwear: the bulk of most bags.
• Socks and sportswear: washed apart from your light clothes.
• Jeans and casual trousers: washed and folded flat.
• Pyjamas and beachwear: fine, as long as the label allows a normal wash.

Keep suits and silk items out of the bag. They belong in Clean & Press.

Fill the bag to the 6kg line and no further. If you have more, choose the 12kg bag, or book two. Check pockets for cards, receipts and room keys before you hand it over.

Mixed colours in one machine are how white T-shirts turn grey. We sort every bag before it goes in, so that does not happen to your things.

• Whites, darks and colours are washed in separate loads.
• Gym kit and swimwear are kept away from shirts and cotton.
• Biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent is used on every load.
• Your bag is its own load, so your clothes are not mixed with a stranger's.

If something needs a cooler wash, put a note on the bag or send it in the chat.

We also keep smaller loads of delicate pieces apart from heavy items such as jeans, so zips do not scratch the lighter fabrics.

Sorting matters most with a mixed suitcase, where a red T-shirt and a white shirt can end up side by side. If a colour looks likely to run, say so on the note.

A hotel room has no tumble dryer, and drying clothes on a hanger in a humid room takes a long time. We dry everything fully, so nothing comes back damp.

Folded clothes take less room in a suitcase, which helps if you are moving to another hotel or flying out the next day.

Fully dry clothes are important in Dubai, where damp fabric gets a musty smell in a closed suitcase within a day. Everything is checked by hand before it is folded.

Dubai trips are hot, so sweat, sunscreen and food marks are normal. They wash out far more easily if we know about them before the wash, not after.

• Name the mark and the garment, in the chat or on a note in the bag.
• Collars and underarms get a look before the machine.
• Oily marks such as suncream need treating first.
• Old, set stains may not shift, and we will tell you if that is the case.

We treat stains by hand where we can. We cannot promise every mark will go.

Photos help. A quick picture of the mark and the whole garment lets us plan the treatment before the driver arrives.

Tell us about anything special too, for example a light shirt that marks easily or a favourite top you worry about. A short line in the chat is all it takes, and it travels with your order.

Most guests at Arjaan by Rotana use the pool or the gym at some point. Wet costumes and sweaty kit do not belong in a suitcase for days.

• Swimwear: washed gently to rinse out chlorine and salt.
• Gym kit: washed separately so smells do not spread to your other clothes.
• Anything unusual: tell us in the chat before handover.

Put wet items in a separate plastic bag before handover, so the rest stays dry.

Wet items can go in a separate bag if you are leaving from the pool, and we will tell you when they are on their way back.

Sandy beach clothes are welcome too. Shake out the sand before you bag them if you can, and the rest comes out in the wash.

Staying a month or more in serviced apartments? A plan can work out simpler than booking each time.

• Essential: one bag every week for AED 250 a month.
• Family: eight bags a month for AED 450 a month.
• Single bag: AED 65 whenever you need one.

Plans are booked on WhatsApp, and they are billed monthly. Ask us which one fits your stay.

A plan also keeps your prices steady for the whole stay, so you can plan the cost of your clothes along with your room.

If your stay changes, tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust the plan. The single bag is always there when you only need one.

Pickup is made easy for guests at Arjaan by Rotana Dubai Media City. Tell us when you want the driver, and meet them at the lobby or hand your bag to the concierge, if the hotel allows it.

• Checked at handover: the driver looks through the items with you or the concierge.
• Secure payment link: we text it after the check, and you pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
• No cash or cards in the lobby.
• Clothes go out for delivery once you have paid.

We are independent of the hotel, so please ask the front desk if they allow handovers at the lobby.

Hotel rules on visitors differ, and your driver will wait outside if the lobby is not open to them. We will message you before the driver arrives so you can be ready.

Clean and Press is our cleaning and pressing by the piece. Each garment is cleaned the way its care label asks, pressed by hand and returned on a hanger. You pay for each item, not by the bag. It suits guests at Arjaan by Rotana who packed formal clothes and need them looking right.

It is the quickest way to arrive at a meeting looking sharp after a long flight, and it takes nothing from your day.

Because the hotel stay is short, we aim to give you the pieces back with time to spare before your next appointment.

Choose the pieces at booking, and we tell you the price of each before the driver arrives.

A shirt that has been folded in a suitcase for ten hours needs more than a shake. Send it to us and it comes back crisp.

• Business shirts: collar and cuffs checked before cleaning, then pressed.
• Blouses: cleaned gently and pressed on a hanger.
• Polos and casual shirts: also welcome, if you want them smart.
• Linen and cotton: pressed to suit the fabric.

Tell us if you want shirts folded instead of hung and we will do that.

Pressed shirts are the most common order we get from guests on business trips, so send a few at a time and book before 2 PM for a fast return.

Business trips and weddings often mean a suit at short notice. Book before 2 PM and, where your address is covered, express gets it back within 5 hours.

• Two-piece suits: jacket and trousers cleaned together so the colour stays matched.
• Suit jackets and ties: priced separately if you only need one.
• Evening dresses: read by label first, with a note about beads or sequins.
• Coats: cleaned if you flew in from somewhere cold.

Everything comes back on a hanger and covered.

If you plan an event, wedding or business dinner, tell us the date and the dress code. A short note helps us decide how to handle the fabric and finish.

If the dress or jacket has beads, sequins or fine stitching, send a photo first. Tell us if it is for a wedding, a gala or a work dinner, and when it needs to be back. Then we can plan the care and the timing together, and give you a clear price before anything is cleaned.

Some things need a different process. Shoes, handbags and soft toys have their own pages, and very delicate fabrics may need dry cleaning. See our Dubai dry cleaning page if you are not sure, or ask us in the chat.

For guest dry cleaning of very delicate pieces, ask us first.

It may also suit pieces that are beaded or very fine.

Guests who come for family events, weddings or business meetings often wear traditional dress. We clean and press it by hand, then hang it.

• Kandura: AED 15, with the collar and front pressed sharp.
• Abaya: AED 18 for a plain one. Tell us if it has fine detail.
• Ghutra: washed and pressed so it keeps its shape.
• Jalabiya and kurta: also cleaned and pressed.

Please say which pieces are for a special occasion, so we give them a little more care.

We read labels and check every piece before pressing, so something fragile is never put through a hard process.

Dress items for a family event are often worn once a year, so we handle them with a little extra patience.

An event at the hotel, a wedding hall or a work dinner usually has a start time. Tell us when you need the clothes back and we will plan around it.

• 24 hours is normal in most of Dubai.
• 5 hours for urgent pieces booked before 2 PM, if your address is covered.
• Back at Arjaan by Rotana on hangers, so you can dress straight away.

Before cleaning anything we read the care label and check the garment for marks, loose trims and stains. We tell you what we find, so nothing surprises you.

• Items already damaged or without a care label are cleaned at the owner's risk.
• Loss or damage cover: up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.
• Photos can be sent to you if something needs a decision.

Everything pressed comes back on a hanger and covered, so it can go straight into the wardrobe at Arjaan by Rotana or into a garment bag for the airport. Shirts are fastened at the collar, and trousers hang from a clip hanger.
