Wash and fold is the simple option when you have been away from home for a few days and the suitcase is full of worn clothes. You put everything in one bag, we wash it, dry it and fold it, and it comes back to Media One Hotel ready to pack. There is no list of items to write and no weighing at the door.

Pressed shirts and suits go in Clean & Press instead, and you can send both in the same pickup.

It also works well for gym kit, swimwear and casual wear, which is most of what a hotel stay produces. You can book it from your room on WhatsApp, in a minute or two.

Most guests are fine with the 6kg bag. The right size depends on how long you stay and what you packed.

• 6kg bag, AED 65: a few days of shirts, T-shirts, underwear and gym kit for one traveller.
• 12kg bag, AED 120: a better fit for a longer stay, a trip with a partner or a group, or bulky clothes.
• More than one bag: each bag is washed on its own, so the weights stay separate.

If your stay is short and you travel light, the 6kg bag is plenty. Two or three outfits fit well within it.

Before anything goes in a machine, we sort your bag by colour. This is the step that stops a red gym top turning a white shirt pink.

• Whites and light colours: washed together, away from anything dark.
• Darks and jeans: kept apart so the colour stays put.
• Gym kit and swimwear: washed away from your cotton shirts.
• Anything delicate: checked against its care label first, and washed separately.

Your bag is washed on its own. It never shares a machine with another guest's order, and the drum is cleaned between customers.

Hotel stays often put clothes from several climates in one bag: a heavy jumper for the flight, light shirts for the day and swimwear for the pool. Sorting them first means each type gets the wash it needs.

If something should be washed alone, such as a new dark shirt that may run, say so when you book and we keep it separate.

After the wash, clothes are dried at a sensible heat and folded by hand. The aim is simple: your clothes come back dry, flat and easy to fit back into the suitcase.

• Dried through: thick items such as sweatshirts and jeans stay in until the middle is dry, not just the surface.
• Folded flat: T-shirts squared, socks paired, trousers folded to stack neatly.
• Packed in the bag: everything returns in the same laundry bag, ready for you to pack.

If you want a piece back on a hanger instead, send it as Clean & Press and it comes back that way. Tell us which pieces you want on hangers when you book, and we will sort it.

Towels and bathrobes stay in the room, so a bag from you is clothes only. That keeps the order light and the price flat.

Travel is hard on clothes. A few days of meetings, dinners and sun can leave marks you do not notice until you open the suitcase.

• Sun cream and sweat: name the shirt or strap, since oily marks are treated before the water, not after.
• Coffee and food: point to the mark and tell us what it was.
• Gym tops that still smell: mention which ones so we check them before the wash.

Write it in your WhatsApp booking and it travels with the order. We treat stains by hand and use commercial-grade detergent, but we cannot promise that an old mark will shift. We will tell you honestly what we found when the order comes back.

Hot weather means sweat, and a dinner or two means food. Most marks are easy once they are caught early, so the sooner you hand over the bag, the better.

Not everything in a suitcase can go in a hot wash. Light fabrics get a gentler cycle and a closer look.

• Care label first: we read it on every piece before choosing how to wash it.
• Thin knits and light dresses: kept apart from heavy cotton and denim.
• Beads and sequins: trims are checked by hand before and after washing.

Pieces with no care label, or that were already damaged, are washed at your own risk. Anything very fragile, such as a silk evening dress, is better sent as Clean & Press, where each item is handled alone.

If a piece is special to you, put it in a separate bag or send it as Clean & Press so it is handled alone, with a price per item that you can see first.

If your stay runs to weeks, a plan can be tidier than booking a bag each time. Plans are billed monthly and booked on WhatsApp.

• Essential, AED 250 a month: one bag every week.
• Family, AED 450 a month: eight bags a month, for a group or a shared stay.
• Single bag, AED 65: still the best choice for one short trip.

Bag sizes for the plans are confirmed when you sign up, so ask us before you choose.

Plans suit people who stay in Dubai for several weeks, such as project teams and long business trips. For a single week, a bag or two is simpler and needs no plan. Ask on WhatsApp if you are not sure.

Booking a bag takes one message. This is the whole process from start to finish.

• Book: message us on WhatsApp with the hotel name and a pickup time, for doorstep laundry pickup at the hotel.
• Handover: the driver meets you in the lobby or at the concierge desk, if the hotel allows it, and checks the items with you.
• Pay: we text a secure link, and you can use a debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. No cash, and no cards in the lobby.
• Return: once you have paid, your clothes go out for delivery to the hotel.

Pickup and delivery are free. Whatever you send, you see the price before you book, and the driver checks the items with you at handover, so nothing is a surprise when the order comes back.

Clean and press is the right choice when a piece has to look good, not just be clean. Each item is checked, cleaned and pressed on its own, then returned on a hanger.

• Priced per item: you see the cost of each shirt, suit or dress before you book, so the laundry price per item is clear.
• Ready to wear: pieces return on hangers, so they can go straight from the bag to the wardrobe.
• Good for events: weddings, dinners, conferences and presentations are what most guests send it for.

It is not for a pile of T-shirts and underwear. A wash and fold bag is cheaper for those.

Many guests send a mix: a few shirts and a suit as Clean & Press, and the rest of the suitcase as a Wash & Fold bag, all in one pickup.

Guests also use it as same-day hotel laundry when a piece is urgent.

If your week is full of meetings, a few clean and pressed shirts make a difference. These are the pieces guests send most.

• Work shirts: any sleeve, with the collar pressed first, for AED 18.
• Blouses: cleaned and pressed gently and returned on hangers.
• Trousers and jeans: a clean crease down the front, or none, as you ask.
• Skirts and everyday dresses: pressed and returned on hangers.

Mention the crease or finish you like when you book.

Shirts and blouses come back on hangers, which suits a hotel wardrobe. Each one is priced separately, so you can send two or twenty.

Send your list as soon as your meetings are fixed. Booking early gives the best chance of a quick return.

Packing a suit usually means a creased suit by the time you arrive. A weekend wedding, a gala dinner or a presentation is a good reason to send it for cleaning and pressing the day before.

• Two-piece suit: the jacket and trousers are cleaned and pressed together, so they stay matched in colour.
• Suit jacket alone: send just the jacket if the trousers are fine.
• Ties and formal shirts: send them in the same bag so the whole outfit comes back together.
• Evening dresses: tell us about beading or delicate fabric so we handle it with care.
• Coats: a winter coat has its own price on the list.

This is guest dry cleaning for the day you need to look your best. Book early if the event is near.

Prices are per item and shown on the price list, so you see the cost of each piece before you book.

If you are not sure whether a piece needs cleaning or only pressing, ask and we suggest the right one.

Not every piece needs the full treatment. T-shirts, gym kit, jeans and underwear are cheaper in a Wash & Fold bag.

If a piece is clean but creased from the suitcase, ask about Pressing only. For delicate fabrics such as silk, look at our dry cleaning page.

Traditional wear is cleaned and pressed one piece at a time, then returned on a hanger so it keeps its shape.

• Kandura or thobe: AED 15 each, ready for an event or a business meeting.
• Ghutra: pressed flat and clean, and good to send together with a kandura.
• Abaya: a plain abaya is AED 18, and a delicate abaya has its own price.
• Jalabiya and kurta: each priced per piece on the list.

Tell us if a piece has embroidery or beadwork, and we will handle it with extra care.

Traditional pieces are often sent before a wedding, a family visit or a formal dinner. Each one is pressed so it holds its shape on the hanger.

Send them early if the occasion matters. Express is possible only where your address is covered, and we confirm that on WhatsApp.

Some days there is no spare time. A meeting moves up, a dinner is booked or a flight leaves earlier than planned.

• Express in 5 hours: book before 2 PM and urgent pieces can be back in five hours, if your address is covered. This is express laundry delivery for the pieces that cannot wait.
• Tell us the deadline: send it in your first WhatsApp message.
• Best for: express suit pressing, a shirt for a presentation or a dress for the evening.

We confirm what is possible before the driver comes. For a same-day laundry service on urgent pieces, the earlier you message, the better the chance. Tell us the time you need it back, not just the day.

Tell us anything that matters when you book, and we add it to the order.

• Care label: we read it on every piece, and on pieces with none we ask you to accept the risk.
• Crease or finish: say how you like your trousers or shirts pressed.
• Weak spots: name any thin or worn area before the driver leaves.
• Special pieces: mention beading, embroidery or fragile fabric.

Nothing is too small to mention.

Payment is simple. The driver checks your items with you, then we text a secure link. You can pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Please do not pay in cash or hand over cards in the lobby.

If anything is lost or damaged, cover is up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item. Once you have paid, your clothes go out for delivery to the hotel.

Please tell us about any weak spots before handover, since items already damaged, or with no care label, are cleaned at your own risk.
