Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in Palm Jumeirah

Every bag from Palm Jumeirah gets the same care. It makes no difference if it comes from a studio on the trunk or a big villa on a frond.

• Pockets emptied: keys, coins, tissues and lip balm come out. A pen left in a pocket can ruin a whole load.
• Sorted by colour: light colours and whites wash together. Darks and denim go in another. Lace and mesh get cooler water.
• Stains treated first: sun cream, coffee and sweat marks are worked on before washing. Heat from the dryer can fix a stain for good.
• Washed gently: we use biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent and rinse thoroughly. Clothes smell clean rather than scented.
• Low-heat drying: so cotton doesn't shrink and waistbands stay stretchy.
• Folded by hand: each piece gets a last look as it's folded. Then the bag is packed and brought back to the Palm.

Anything you'd hang up, like shirts and kanduras, goes to Clean & Press instead.

1. Start on WhatsApp. Drop us a location pin plus your building and apartment number, or the frond letter and villa number. You won't need an app.
2. Fill it. Only day-to-day clothes go in. Check the pockets, as a single tissue sheds over everything. Write your name and apartment or villa number on it.
3. We collect. The driver picks up at your door for free. If your building has a reception or concierge desk, that works too.
4. We get to work. Everything is sorted, given a gentle wash, dried on low heat and folded.
5. We return it. A WhatsApp message tells you the driver is on the way to the Palm. There's no charge for delivery either.

Anything you'd happily wash in your own machine is fine for our bag. If the label says do not wash, or hand wash only, keep it out. A bag from Palm Jumeirah could hold:

• Beachwear: swimsuits, rash vests, board shorts and cover-ups. Rinse off the salt and shake out the sand before packing.
• Gym and running kit: running tops, sports socks, leggings and shorts.
• Casual work clothes: polos and plain tees that live in a drawer.
• Weekend wear: jeans, joggers and hoodies. Turn dark jeans inside out.
• Light summer clothes: cotton, linen and sundresses. Dubai gets hotter than 43°C in July and August, so these are washed often.
• Children's clothes: uniforms, nightwear and playwear. Do up any zips first.

Only everyday clothes go in the bag. We do clean everything listed here, each at its own price. Book them together and they all leave your Palm Jumeirah home with the same driver.

• Shirts for work, suits, abayas and kanduras: book Clean & Press. They're priced per piece and returned on hangers.
• Silk, wool, sequins and beading: book these for dry cleaning, as water can harm them.
• Beach and bath towels: these go in Bed & Bath, priced per towel.

We sort every load from Palm Jumeirah before any washing starts. These are the things we look at.

• Colour run: new denim and bright cotton can bleed at first, so they're kept away from whites.
• Heavy and light: jeans and metal zips can rough up thin tops, so heavy pieces are washed separately.
• Your own machine: each customer's load is washed on its own. It's never mixed with another household's.
• Sanitised machines: every drum is cleaned between one customer and the next.
• Detergent: it's commercial-grade, and it's both biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Sand and salt can hide in swimwear seams, so we rinse thoroughly.
• Gentle drying: too much heat makes cotton smaller and elastic loose. We check that waistbands, cuffs and seams are dry before folding.
• Final check: if a button is loose or a mark won't shift, we'll let you know on WhatsApp.

• Where we collect: at your front door, or with the front desk where there is one.
• Landmarks that help: the monorail stations at Palm Gateway, Al Ittihad Park and Palm Jumeirah Mall.

Bags picked up on Palm Jumeirah are normally returned the next day, inside the 24 hours we work to for most of Dubai.

Prefer a same-day laundry service? Book by 2 PM and ask for express laundry delivery. If we cover your address for express, you'll have the bag back 5 hours after we collect it. Some addresses fall outside the express area, so ask us in the chat first.

• Point out the stain: sun cream on a neckline, coffee on a cuff, juice on a child's top. Say where to look.
• Say what you've used: bleach, a stain spray or hot water can make a mark harder to shift. Mention it in your message.
• Air damp kit first: wet swimwear or sweaty gym clothes zipped in a bag soon smell in the heat. Give them an hour on a hanger before they go in.

What you see for a Palm Jumeirah shirt is the whole price. There's nothing extra for stain treatment, hangers or covers.

• Checked when it arrives: we go through the pockets, read the label and make a note of any loose button.
• Stains treated by hand first: we deal with a mark before any heat touches it.
• Washed to suit the fabric: cool water for cotton and cotton blends, which stops shrinking. Anything more delicate gets the care its label asks for.
• Air-dried on hangers: filtered air and no tumble dryer, so sleeves don't shrink up.
• Steamed step by step: collar and cuffs come first, the front next, and the back and sleeves last.
• Checked three times before it goes in a cover and back to the Palm.

1. Send a list. Something like "a suit, three office shirts and one kandura". Add your building and apartment number, or frond letter and villa number. Say if you want creases sharp or soft.
2. Pack two bags. Keep hanging clothes in their own bag, away from folded washing.
3. We collect free. Your door is fine, and so is your building's front desk.
4. One garment at a time. Each piece is finished before the next is started.
5. Back on hangers. Usually returned the next day, covered and ready for the wardrobe.

A simple test: if it looks creased after one wear, it's a clean and press piece. From a Palm Jumeirah wardrobe, think of:

• Office shirts: cotton poplin, oxford or twill, always started at the collar.
• Linen shirts and trousers: linen creases the moment you sit, and steam brings it back.
• Blouses and skirts: viscose and crepe wrinkle fast and keep best on a hanger.
• Suits and chinos: wool or cotton mixes, as a rule. We put jackets on a dummy to steam them, so the lapels stay flat.
• Kanduras and thobes: these are often white cotton or a poly-cotton mix. We steam the front until it's smooth.
• Ghutras: laid on a flat table and smoothed out. The folding is left to you.
• Abayas and jalabiyas: we only steam georgette and crepe, so black keeps its matte finish. Ask us on WhatsApp for a shayla price.
• Kurta sets: top and trousers stay together on one ticket.

• Washed already, only creased? Book Pressing, which smooths it out with no second wash.
• Is it silk, lace or heavy wool, or does it have sequins or beads? Water can spoil these. Send them for dry cleaning instead.
• Only T-shirts, socks, swimwear and pyjamas? Those belong in a Wash & Fold bag.

Can't decide? WhatsApp us a picture of the label. We'll reply before the driver reaches Palm Jumeirah.

The heat symbol on a care label has one to three dots. They show the most heat the fabric can take, and our steamer stays under it. Three dots, about 200°C, is for cotton and linen. Two dots, about 150°C, suits wool, silk and polyester mixes. One dot, about 110°C, is for synthetics like acrylic. Crossed out? Then it gets steam only.

• Dark crepe stays off the hot plate: it can turn shiny, so black abayas and dark trousers are steamed only.
• Collars and cuffs get extra time: they're the first thing people see.
• Your crease preference is kept: sharp, soft or none, or a travel fold. We note it so next time matches.
• Breathable covers: in summer, Dubai's humidity can average more than 90%. A plastic cover traps that damp. Ours let it escape during the drive back to the Palm.

Pickup for hanging clothes is free across Palm Jumeirah, the same as for a wash and fold bag.

• What we need: your building or villa, the apartment or villa number, and a location pin.
• Helpful landmarks: Palm Jumeirah Mall at the centre of the island, or your nearest monorail station.
• Nearby: pickup is free in JBR and Al Sufouh as well.

Hanging clothes collected on Palm Jumeirah normally come back the next day. That's within the 24 hours we work to across most of Dubai. Delicate fabrics can take longer. It depends on the piece, and we'll tell you the time when you book.

Need a shirt the same day? Book by 2 PM. If express covers your address, it's ready 5 hours after we collect. A few addresses aren't in that area, so tell us your building or villa and we'll confirm.

When you book a pickup on Palm Jumeirah, mention any of these.

• Food and drink: coffee, wine or tomato sauce on a shirt. Tell us what it was.
• Sun cream: it can leave yellow-orange marks on white collars and cuffs. Point them out.
• Sweat at the collar: Dubai summers top 43°C. White collars and kandura necks turn yellow with sweat, and early treatment works best.
• Deodorant: white streaks on dark fabric, yellow patches on light. Each needs a different treatment.
• Perfume oil and oud: they may leave a ring on light cotton. Show us the ring, and say which oil it was if you can.

The price of an item already covers collection from your Palm Jumeirah home, the clean and the return. With bed linen wash and fold, your sheets and pillowcases are washed, dried right to the seams and folded flat. A pillowcase is handled as carefully as a king duvet. It's just quicker to get dry.

• Hand-checked: we look over seams and corners, plus any stain you told us about when you booked.
• Your own sanitised machine: your bedding goes in on its own. A duvet needs room to move, or water won't get to its centre.
• Gentle detergent: it's hypoallergenic and biodegradable. That's important for pillowcases, which sit against your skin all night.
• Fully dried: the outside of a duvet dries before the middle. So we check the filling by hand instead of relying on the timer.
• Only bagged when dry: damp bedding never goes into a bag. Then it's folded, bagged and driven back to the Palm.

Duvet covers are AED 31. We take the cover off the duvet and wash it separately, so each gets the right cycle.

1. Send a list. For example, "two king duvets, eight pillowcases and the beach towels". Add your building and apartment, or frond and villa number, and a pin for your location.
2. Get your times: we confirm a collection slot and your return day.
3. Pack it up. Give every duvet a bag to itself, rolled up tight. Towels and sheets go together in one more.
4. Free pickup. From your door, or from the building's reception if it has one.
5. Updates as we go. You'll get WhatsApp updates right up to delivery.

Our WhatsApp takes messages day and night. Visitors coming tomorrow? You can book the evening before for fresh spare-room sheets.

A duvet or comforter costs AED 56, from single up to king. Each is cleaned a little differently, though.

• Duvet: the soft filled part that sits in a cover. We price and wash the cover separately.
• Comforter: quilted with stitching all over, often patterned, and it doesn't need a cover. The stitched squares dry at different speeds, so every square gets felt for damp.
• Blanket: a standard size is AED 26. Larger blankets are priced higher.
• Bedcover: AED 29. As the top layer, it catches the most dust. Shamal winds blow fine sand into homes on the Palm too. Tell us about any beads, tassels or fringing.

Split seam, or filling poking through? WhatsApp us a picture before booking and we'll tell you whether it can go in the wash.

Dubai's heat means sheets and pillowcases go in the wash much more often than a duvet. That's why they tend to wear out first.

• Sheets: flat and fitted are both AED 25. Fitted sheets are best sent inside out, because socks and sand end up in the corners.
• Pillowcases: AED 9. Face cream, sun cream and hair oil leave greasy patches on cotton. Point them out rather than scrubbing.
• Pillows: AED 19 each. If a pillow has gone flat and lumpy, the filling has had its day, and washing won't bring it back. Memory foam must never get wet.
• Mattress protectors: AED 35. Too much heat can damage the waterproof layer, so WhatsApp us a photo of the label first.

Towels are AED 7 each and bathrobes AED 19. Soap left in the loops makes a towel rough, so we rinse each one twice and dry it fully.

• Beach and pool towels: shake out the sand and book soon after a swim. If a wet towel sits in a closed bag all night, it will smell by morning.
• Gym towels: the small ones hold sweat and stay damp. Hang them up to dry before you pack them.
• Bathrobes: we check the thick collar twice, as it's slowest to dry. Tuck the belt in a pocket so it stays with the robe.
• Sofa covers: a standard zip-off cover is AED 46. Note which cushion each cover came off, and brush away pet hair first.
• Tablecloths: AED 19. Let spills dry, then tell us what they were, such as wine, gravy or coffee.

Keep wet towels away from a duvet when you pack. In humid weather the filling soaks up damp quickly.

These can't go in a washing machine safely. Please keep them back at your home on the Palm:

• Electric blankets or anything with a cable or wiring.
• Weighted blankets, which have pellets of glass or plastic inside.
• Memory foam toppers and pillows.
• Anything labelled do not wash. Unsure? Send us a label photo and you'll hear back before the driver comes.

Clothes need their own booking. Folded clothes like tees and jeans belong in Wash & Fold. Hanging pieces like shirts and abayas belong in Clean & Press. Use one bag for each service. One driver collects them all. See our home linen guide for more bedding care tips.

With duvet and comforter laundering, the time goes on drying. The cover is dry fairly soon. Down, feather and polyester fillings all hold on to water for hours. A duvet put away even a little damp smells musty, even with the air conditioning on.

• 48 to 72 hours: thick bedding from Palm Jumeirah needs this long with us, so the centre ends up as dry as the edges.
• Your return day: we'll send it in the chat after you book.
