Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in JBR

Every JBR bag gets the same five steps, always in this order. A one-bed in Murjan and a four-bed in Shams are treated alike. Half empty or packed to the zip, we skip nothing and charge nothing extra.

• Sorted by hand: light tops and linen go in one pile, dark denim and black gym leggings in another. Lace and very stretchy pieces are set aside for a cooler, slower wash.
• Problem areas first: we check collars, underarms and cuffs before washing. Summer sweat marks fabric fast, and dryer heat can set a yellow ring for good.
• Washed: in a biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent, then rinsed well so no strong smell is left behind.
• Dried on low: gentle heat stops a fitted T-shirt shrinking and keeps waistbands from going loose.
• Folded: one piece at a time, checked once more, then packed to go back to Jumeirah Beach Residence.

This service has no pressing. Clothes come back folded, ready for your drawers. A work shirt with a sharp collar, or a kandura that needs a crease, should go through Clean & Press instead.

1. WhatsApp us. Send your location and tell us your cluster and tower, Rimal or Bahar for example, so the driver uses the right entrance. Then pick a time. There's no app to download, and we answer messages at any hour.
2. Pack it. Everyday clothes only. Empty the pockets of coins, hair ties, sand and your Nol card. Then put your flat number and name on the bag.
3. Hand it over. Give the bag to the driver at your front door. If your tower has lobby security on duty, you can leave it with them instead. Pickup is free.
4. We start work. Sorting, a gentle wash, a cool dry, then folding by hand.
5. Back to JBR. We message you on WhatsApp when the bag heads back to you. You don't pay for delivery either.

Have shirts for Clean & Press too? Pack them in their own bag and mention both jobs in the same WhatsApp. One JBR pickup takes both bags.

Look at the care label, usually inside a side seam, for the small washtub symbol. With dots inside or without, that piece can go in the bag. If it shows a hand dipped in the tub, or the tub is crossed out, keep that piece out. In a JBR wardrobe that usually means:

• Hot-weather basics: vests, T-shirts, polos and thin linen blends for July and August, when the average high in Dubai passes 43°C.
• Casual trousers: chinos, jeans and tracksuit bottoms. Close the zips and do up the buttons so nothing catches.
• Sports kit: what you wore on the running track at The Beach, plus football shirts and gym socks.
• Underwear and nightwear: briefs, boxers, cotton nightshirts, and socks rolled up in pairs.
• Children's clothes: school polos, rash vests once they've dried after the sea, and baby sleepsuits with every popper fastened.
• Light layers: a sweatshirt or zip-up hoodie for a cool winter evening on The Walk.

Some things need different care from everyday clothes. Most of them can still leave JBR on the same pickup, booked under another service.

• Shirts, suits, kanduras and abayas you want crisp: put them down for Clean & Press instead. Each piece has its own price, and it all comes back on hangers.
• Labels with the tub crossed out: these can't go in water. Send silk, wool coats and sequinned or beaded evening wear for dry cleaning instead.
• Hand-wash knits and delicate lingerie: leave them out, or ask us on WhatsApp before you pack.
• Anything still wet: a bikini straight from the sea starts to smell musty after a few hours shut in a bag in JBR's humidity. Let it dry first.
• Things that aren't clothes: each service in the row above the tabs has its own page.

How your clothes come back is mostly decided before the machine door closes, in a few minutes of sorting. Here's what happens when a JBR bag is emptied onto our table.

• Colours first. New dark jeans can stain a white vest in one wash, so light and dark loads are kept apart.
• Then fabric weight. Heavy denim and fleecy joggers stay away from thin jersey, so soft T-shirts don't go bobbly.
• Your own machine. Nobody else's washing goes in with yours, so every piece that comes back to JBR belongs to you.
• Sanitised between loads. After each cycle the drum gets cleaned and sanitised, ready for the next load.
• The right detergent. Commercial-grade but biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Clothes sit against warm skin all through a sticky beach afternoon, and leftover detergent can irritate sensitive skin.
• Low heat to dry. Hot air shrinks cotton and wears out elastic, so we keep the heat low. Then we check hoods, waistbands and thick seams for damp before folding.
• Folded by hand. That's when we spot a button hanging by a thread or a mark the wash couldn't shift, and we let you know.

We collect all over Dubai. In Jumeirah Beach Residence that means all six clusters, Shams at the western end through to Murjan at the eastern end, plus the areas on either side. Pickup and delivery are both free.

• The 40 JBR towers: towers near the JBR 1 and JBR 2 tram stops and those right on The Walk all get pickup from your own door. If your tower has a staffed lobby, security can hold the bag for us.
• Dubai Marina, next door: the canal towers just inland are covered on our Dubai Marina page.
• Across the water: Bluewaters, the island with Ain Dubai, has its own Bluewaters page.
• Holiday and hotel apartments: give us the unit number, and check that reception is happy to keep a laundry bag at the desk.

If your basket fills up by about the same amount every week, a plan gives JBR flats a budget-friendly wash and fold. You keep one pickup day a week, there's nothing to rebook, and every bag works out cheaper than booking one at a time.

• Essential: AED 250 a month gets you four bags, picked up once a week. It suits one person living alone or two people sharing.
• Family: AED 450 a month gets you eight bags, two every week, with room for school uniforms, swimwear and the children's pyjamas.
• Pay as you go: a single bag is AED 65, any week you need it.

Plan pickups stay on one weekday, so your bags go out at the door on the same morning each time. To start a plan, just message us on WhatsApp.

A bag collected in JBR today usually comes home within 24 hours, which is the standard across Dubai. If your address is ever an exception, we'll give you the return day up front, before you book.

Want a same-day laundry service? Get your express laundry delivery order in before 2 PM. If your address is inside the express area, everything comes back 5 hours later. Check with us on WhatsApp first rather than assuming.

• Tell us about the stain. Sun cream on a neckline, ketchup, salt marks on swim shorts: tell us what made the mark and where to find it.
• Mention anything you've used. Bleach, vinegar or a stain stick each change what's safe for us to use next.
• Dry beach things indoors. Dubai's balcony rules don't allow laundry hung outside, so use an indoor rack. Damp fabric zipped in a bag soon smells sour in a JBR summer, a few metres from the sea.

The price next to each garment on the JBR list covers everything. You pay nothing extra for a stain, a hanger or a cover.

• Before any water: we empty the pockets, read the label and check the seams and buttons, noting anything already loose.
• Stains treated dry: we work on a mark by hand first. If it goes straight into a warm wash, it can stay for good.
• The right cleaning: plain cotton and blends get a cool wash so nothing shrinks. If the label asks for specialist cleaning, that's what it gets.
• No tumble dryer: shirts and kanduras dry on hangers in filtered air, so collars stay flat and sleeves keep their length.
• Steamed by hand: the button strip, cuffs and collar points first, then the body, one garment at a time.
• A last look: three checks, then it goes on a hanger under a cover the fabric can breathe through.

1. Send your list on WhatsApp. For example, "three shirts, a kandura and some suit trousers". Add your cluster, your tower number, and say if you want creases in the trousers.
2. Use two bags. Hanging clothes in one and anything for folding in the other, so they arrive already sorted.
3. Free collection. From your door in Murjan, Shams or any cluster in between, or where there's a lobby desk in your tower.
4. One piece at a time. Each garment is cleaned, dried and steamed before the next one comes off the rail.
5. Back on hangers. Your order is back in JBR within 24 hours, the norm for most of Dubai, each piece covered and ready to put on.

An easy test: if you'd want the creases out before you put it on, it belongs here. In a JBR wardrobe that usually means:

• Work shirts: oxford, poplin and easy-care blends, long or short sleeved. Most of the work is in the collar and cuffs.
• Blouses and skirts: viscose, cotton lawn and crepe, the fabrics that crease most during a working day.
• Suits and trousers: wool-blend suits, chinos and work trousers. Jackets go on a steam dummy so the shoulders sit right.
• Kanduras and thobes: in white cotton or a poly blend, steamed until the front falls in one clean line from the collar down.
• Ghutras: laid flat with sharp corners, ready for you to fold your own way.
• Abayas and jalabiyas: crepe and georgette get only a light steam, so the black stays matt and not shiny. Sending a shayla too? Ask us its price on WhatsApp first.
• Kurtas with sirwal: booked together on one ticket so the set stays together.
• School uniform shirts: the night before photo day, when a flat collar matters.

• Clean already, only creased? Pressing steams the creases out of clothes that are already washed, with no second wash.
• Beads, sequins, silk or lace? A heavy wool coat? Send those for dry cleaning. It uses a solvent instead of water and is much gentler on them.
• Pyjamas, swimwear, T-shirts or gym kit? They get folded, not hung, so they belong in Wash & Fold.

Can't decide? Snap the care label and send the picture over WhatsApp. We'll decide with you before the driver sets off for your JBR tower.

Find the pressing symbol on the label. The dots inside it set the highest safe heat. Three dots allow around 200°C, for linen and cotton. Two dots allow around 150°C, for polyester blends, wool and silk. A single dot is the cool setting, near 110°C, for acrylic and certain synthetics. If the symbol is crossed out, the garment gets steam only.

• Dark crepe gets steam, not a hot plate: pressure leaves a shine, so abayas and dark suit trousers get steam alone.
• Collars and cuffs one by one: they're the first thing anyone sees, so each one gets done on its own.
• Creases are up to you: sharp, none at all, or shirts folded flat for a suitcase. Say so at booking and it goes on your ticket.
• Covers that breathe: Dubai's average humidity goes above 90% in July and August, and JBR is right on the sea. Plastic would trap that damp in the fabric. Our covers keep the dust off and let the moisture out.

Clean and press pickups in JBR are free, like every pickup. But hanging clothes need somewhere to wait if you're out.

• Six clusters along one beach: Shams in the west, then Amwaj, Rimal, Bahar and Sadaf, and Murjan in the east, spread over 1.7 km of shore. So tell us your cluster and tower number, not just "JBR". If security or the front desk takes deliveries, hangers can be left there.
• Near the tram: if you're closest to the JBR 1 or JBR 2 stop, tell us which, along with your pin. Visitor parking is tight here, and the driver can't drive round looking for a space.
• Next door: Dubai Marina and JLT get the same free pickup and have pages of their own.

Shirts and suits collected in JBR are usually back in your wardrobe 24 hours later. That's normal for most of Dubai. Delicate fabrics may need longer. It depends on the piece, and we'll tell you the time when we collect it.

Need a shirt ready for this evening? Get the express order in before 2 PM. If your JBR tower is inside the express area, it comes back five hours after pickup. Express cover depends on location, so send us your cluster on WhatsApp and check first.

• Sun cream: lotion from an afternoon on the beach can leave yellowish marks on a white shirt or kandura. Tell us it's sun cream, because it needs a different treatment from a food stain.
• Collar lines: summer humidity by the sea and skin oil leave a grey-yellow line on white collars in JBR. The sooner we get it, the better it comes out.
• Oud and perfume oil: on pale cotton it shows as a darker patch. Show us where it is and tell us which oil, and we'll choose the right treatment.
• Small requests: noticed a loose button? Want shirts folded for a suitcase, or no crease at all? Mention it in your message and we'll add it to the ticket.

In JBR, the price of each item covers every step. Sheets and pillowcases go through our bed linen wash and fold, so each one is washed, dried to the seams and folded flat. We still count every piece rather than weighing the bag. One pillowcase gets the same care as the biggest duvet in the load. It just dries sooner.

• Hand check first: corners, seams, quilting lines and any stain you've pointed out all get a look.
• Room to move: big drums let a king duvet open up as it turns, so the rinse gets into the filling and not just the outside.
• Mild detergent: hypoallergenic and biodegradable, which matters on a pillowcase your face rests on all night.
• Dry in the middle: a duvet doesn't come out of the dryer until its centre is as dry as its edges. You couldn't hang one over a JBR balcony rail anyway, because Dubai's balcony rules ban airing laundry there.
• Packed last: only when every piece in the order is dry, so nothing in your linen cupboard picks up a musty smell.

Duvet covers are a separate line at AED 31, because they're washed apart from the duvet.

1. Send a rough list. "Two duvets, four pillows and all the bath towels" is fine. Add your cluster, your tower and a location pin.
2. We reply. A member of our team sends you a pickup time and the return day in one message.
3. Get it ready. Roll each duvet into a bundle and tie it. Sheets and towels go together in a separate bag.
4. Pickup. Free, from your door in JBR, or from reception if your tower has one.
5. Follow it. WhatsApp updates keep you posted until the order is home.

Our chat is open day and night. That helps when you strip the beds late on a Saturday after friends have stayed for a beach weekend.

Duvets and comforters are the same price, AED 56, from single up to king. Where they differ is in the inspection.

• Duvet: loose filling inside a plain fabric case, used inside a cover. The cover comes off and is charged as its own item.
• Comforter: quilted in squares, often printed or patterned, used bare. Each square dries at its own pace, so we feel along every row by hand before we pass it.
• Blanket: AED 26 for a standard one. Larger ones are listed separately.
• Bedcover: AED 29. It lies on top, so in a JBR bedroom it's the first thing to gather dust, and fine sand too when a shamal blows in from the beach. Has it got beads or tassels? Let us know.

Seam split, or filling poking through? Photograph it before pickup and we'll work out a safe way to wash it with you.

In a hot JBR summer these get washed the most, so they're the first to go thin.

• Pillows: AED 19 each. Most fillings plump back up after a wash and a slow dry. Squeeze one and let go: if it stays flat, the filling is worn out and no wash will fix it. Keep memory foam at home.
• Sheets: AED 25, flat or fitted, one price. Fitted corners hide things, so check inside each one for hair ties and lost earrings first.
• Pillowcases: AED 9. After a day at the beach, sun cream and hair oil rub off onto them quickly. Point out the marks on WhatsApp and don't scrub them.
• Mattress protectors: AED 35. Ones with a waterproof backing don't like high heat, so send us a photo of the care label.

Towels go stiff when detergent stays stuck in the loops. So ours get a second rinse, then dry fully in the tumble dryer. Bath towels cost AED 7 each, bathrobes AED 19.

• Beach towels: the sand is a few steps from your lobby, so give each one a good shake outside first. Grit in one towel ends up in all of them.
• Bathrobes: the thick collar dries last, so we feel it just before folding. Pop the belt in as well.
• Bath mats: send the cotton ones. Leave behind any mat whose rubber back is starting to crumble.
• Sofa covers: AED 46 for the regular zip-off kind. Snap the sofa before you unzip the covers, so each one goes back in the right place.
• Tablecloths: AED 19, after a long dinner at home. Let spills dry and tell us what they were.

Keep damp towels away from duvets in the bag. In JBR's humid sea air, damp gets into a filling quickly.

A few bedding items are best kept out of every washing machine, including ours:

• Anything with wires, like an electric or heated blanket.
• Memory foam, whether it's a pillow or a topper.
• Weighted blankets filled with beads.
• Labels with the wash tub crossed out. If you can't tell, WhatsApp us a picture and we'll answer before pickup.

Clothes have their own services. Jeans, T-shirts and gym kit go in Wash & Fold. Anything that goes on a hanger, like shirts, kanduras and abayas, goes in Clean & Press. Duvet and comforter laundering is mostly waiting. The wash itself is quick. Feather and polyester fillings keep water deep inside long after the cover feels dry. Put a duvet away damp and it soon smells sour, even in an air-conditioned JBR bedroom.

• Usual time: count on 48 to 72 hours after pickup for a duvet, quilt, comforter or anything that size.
• Your return day: we confirm it in the same WhatsApp chat you use to book your JBR pickup.
