Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Sofitel Jumeirah Beach

Every bag from the hotel goes through the same steps, in the same order. A holiday bag with a week of swimwear gets the same care as a business traveller's bag of shirts. We do not skip a step and we do not add a charge.

• Sorted by hand: white and light clothes go in one pile, dark jeans and black gym wear in another. Delicate pieces are set aside for a gentler wash.
• Marks checked first: we look at collars, underarms and any sun cream or food stain before the machine starts.
• Washed alone: your order runs in its own machine, never with another customer's clothes.
• Dried gently and folded: we dry on a low heat, then fold by hand and pack it in your bag.

When it is done, the bag is closed and folded items are packed in the order we took them out. Nothing is left behind in the drum. Your order then goes back to the hotel lobby, where you collect it.

1. Message us. Send the hotel name, your room number and what you want washed. Choose a pickup time. There is no app, and the chat is answered at any hour.
2. Pack your bag. Put in everyday clothes only. Empty the pockets of coins, sand and key cards, and keep valuables out.
3. Meet the driver. Bring the bag to the lobby or concierge, if the hotel allows it. Pickup is free.
4. Check and pay. The driver checks the items with you. We then text a secure link, and you pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We take no cash.
5. Get it back. Your order goes out for delivery once it is paid, and comes to the same spot.

If the hotel has rules for visitors, we follow them. Tell us if the concierge wants to hold the bag, and we agree a place with you first.

Look at the care label inside each piece. If it shows a washtub, with or without dots, it can go in the bag. For a hotel guest, that usually means:

• Everyday tops: T-shirts, polos and vests, plus thin shirts you do not need pressed.
• Casual trousers: jeans, shorts and cotton trousers. Close the zips so nothing catches.
• Gym and sports kit: leggings, running tops and socks.
• Swimwear: rinse it in fresh water first, then put it in the bag.
• Underwear and sleepwear: packed in the same bag, in one flat price.

Packing for the flight? Fill the bag the night before check-out, and tell us the time you need it back. We plan the pickup around your day.

A few things should not go in a wash and fold bag. Keep these out, and book them under Clean & Press instead.

• Suits and jackets: they need cleaning and shaping, not a machine wash.
• Silk, beaded or embroidered pieces: these need a careful hand, so send them as single items.
• Anything marked "do not wash": a crossed-out tub on the label means keep it out.
• Valuables: jewellery, watches, cash and passports stay in your room safe.
• Hotel items: hotel towels and robes stay in the room. They are not ours to wash.

Not sure where a piece belongs? Ask on WhatsApp before you book. Sending a photo of the label saves time.

Once the bag reaches the shop, we empty it on a table and sort it by colour and fabric. This takes a few minutes and saves clothes from running dye and shrinking. Here is what happens next.

• Colours apart: white cotton never shares a drum with dark denim or black sportswear.
• Fabrics apart: thin, stretchy and lacy pieces get a cooler, shorter cycle than jeans.
• Detergent: we use a commercial-grade detergent that is biodegradable and made for big machines. It is rinsed out fully, so nothing irritates your skin.
• Drying: low heat, so cotton does not shrink and elastic in swimwear and sportswear does not wear out early.
• Folding: by hand, with pairs of socks matched, and the bag is closed for return.

After each cycle, the drum is cleaned and sanitised for the next customer.

A full order takes the same steps whether it comes from a single traveller or from a family of five, so there is no waiting list for bigger bags.

The hotel stands on The Walk in JBR. Our driver can meet you in a few places, as long as the hotel allows it.

• The lobby: the usual spot. Hand over the bag, and take it back there when it returns.
• The concierge desk: useful if you are heading out and want to leave the bag in someone's care.
• The entrance: if you are in a taxi on the way to the airport or to an event, we can plan the handover there.
• Another JBR address: if you move to a different hotel or tower after your stay, send the new pin and we will collect from there.

We never ask you to leave the bag outside your door or hand over cash.

If you are not sure where to hand the bag over, tell us your room number and the time you will be downstairs. This is doorstep laundry pickup for hotel guests, with the lobby as your door. We confirm the place on WhatsApp.

If you are staying a few weeks, or you have rented a flat nearby, a plan can be a budget-friendly wash and fold. One bag costs AED 65 on its own. On a plan, each bag costs less than that.

• Essential: AED 250 a month for four bags, one picked up each week. It suits one traveller or a couple.
• Family: AED 450 a month for eight bags, two each week. It suits a family travelling together.

You keep one pickup day. Nothing has to be rebooked, and you can talk to us on WhatsApp if the plan needs to change.

Staying only a few days? One bag at a time is simpler, and you never have to sign up for anything.

A normal order is back within 24 hours in most cases. Express is for urgent clothes, and there is no extra fee for it.

• Standard: pickup, wash, dry, fold and return, usually inside 24 hours.
• Express: 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered. Send the hotel pin and we confirm.
• Before a flight: book early, and tell us your check-out time. Check-out is at 12:00 PM, so a morning pickup works best.

For stains, tell us what the mark is and how old it is. Sun cream, coffee, wine and food marks are treated by hand before washing. Old marks may not come out fully, and we will tell you if we think so.

Normal orders work as a next-day laundry service, and the 5-hour express is there for the pieces that cannot wait. If your plans change, message us and we try to move the time.

The price beside each garment is the whole price. There is nothing extra for a stain, a hanger or a cover.

• Checked first: we empty the pockets and read the care label before anything is cleaned.
• Stains treated by hand: we work on a mark before the garment goes into any machine. Heat can set a stain for good.
• The right cleaning: plain cotton gets a cool wash, and anything that needs specialist care gets it.
• Steamed by hand: each piece is shaped and pressed on its own, then dried on a hanger, not in a tumble dryer.

If we lose or damage an item, we cover up to 10 times its cleaning price. Pieces that are already damaged, or have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk.

1. Send your list on WhatsApp. For example, "two shirts, a suit and an evening dress". Add your hotel, your room number and the time you need them.
2. Hand them over. Bring them to the lobby at Sofitel Jumeirah Beach, and our driver checks each item with you.
3. Pay by link. We text you a secure link, and your order goes out for delivery once you pay.
4. We clean and press. One piece at a time, and each one is checked again before it goes on a hanger.
5. Get them back. On hangers, usually within 24 hours, to the same place in the hotel.

A simple test: if you want the creases out before you wear it, it belongs here. For a hotel stay, that usually means:

• Work shirts: cotton or easy-care, long or short sleeve, for a meeting or conference.
• Suits and jackets: they get a gentle clean and a press on a shaped form, so the shoulders sit right.
• Evening dresses and blouses: the fabrics that crease most in a suitcase, like crepe, silk and viscose.
• Kanduras, ghutras and abayas: for a wedding, a family visit or Friday prayers.
• Ties and skirts: small pieces that make a difference to the whole outfit.

All of them come back on hangers, ready to wear.

If you are not sure about a fabric, send a photo of its label, and we tell you what we would do.

Not everything belongs on this list. Casual clothes are cheaper in the wash and fold bag, so use that for:

• T-shirts, shorts and jeans you do not need hung up.
• Gym kit and swimwear.
• Socks and underwear.

You can send both in the same pickup. One message and one driver handles all of it.

A few pieces, such as a pair of cotton shorts, cost less in the wash and fold bag. Pick whichever suits the piece.

The same goes for swimwear.

Every garment has a care label, and we read it before anything else. Here is what the symbols tell us.

• A washtub: the piece can be washed. Dots show how hot, and one dot means cool.
• A crossed-out tub: do not wash it. These go to specialist cleaning.
• A circle: professional cleaning is needed. A letter inside shows the solvent we use.
• An iron symbol: it shows how hot a press may be. We steam, so we stay well within it.
• A triangle: it tells us whether bleach is allowed. We never bleach coloured clothes.

If a label is missing or unreadable, we tell you, and the piece is cleaned at your own risk.

Hanging clothes are best handed over in one go, so they arrive sorted. Here is how it works at the hotel.

• Bring them to the lobby: or the concierge desk, if the hotel allows it.
• Keep hangers together: a garment bag or a large bag stops them from creasing on the way.
• We check them with you: the driver counts each item and notes anything already marked.
• Pay by link: a secure link is texted to you. We take no cash or cards in the lobby.

The clean order comes back to the same place.

If you are checking out the same day, tell us the time, and we plan the return for before you leave.

Most clean and press orders are back within 24 hours. Delicate fabrics can take a little longer, and we say so when you book.

• Standard: 24 hours in most cases.
• Express: 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered. There is no extra fee.
• Express laundry delivery: a suit for an evening event can be ready the same day, if booked in time and your address is covered.

Booked in the morning for an evening event? Say so on WhatsApp, and we confirm the timing for your address before the driver sets off.

A week in the sun leaves its own marks, and we know where to look.

• Collars and cuffs: sun cream and sweat build up there and show as a yellow line. We treat them first.
• Perfume and oil: these leave dark patches on silk and light cotton. Tell us where, and we deal with them before steaming.
• Make-up on necklines: a common mark on blouses and dresses, and best treated while fresh.
• Creases from the case: steam removes them, without a hot iron on delicate cloth.

Point out any mark on WhatsApp, and we will take extra care with it.

Marks from sun cream and make-up are easiest to remove when they are fresh, so do not wait until the end of your trip.
