Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at InterContinental Festival City
Hotel laundry service for guests of InterContinental Dubai Festival City. A driver from LPlaundry takes your bag at the InterContinental Festival City lobby, if the hotel allows it, and returns it washed and folded within 24 hours. A 6kg bag costs AED 65. Shirts come back on hangers at AED 18 each, kanduras at AED 15 and plain abayas at AED 18. We are independent of the hotel and IHG. Pickup and delivery are free.

Wash and fold at InterContinental Festival City
Wash & Fold is for the clothes that pile up on a trip: T-shirts, shorts, underwear, swimwear and gym kit. Fill one bag, give it to our driver at the lobby, and we wash, dry and fold it. Most bags are home within 24 hours. A 6kg bag is AED 65, full or not. That makes it budget-friendly wash and fold, with free pickup and delivery.

What you can put in the bag
If it would go in your own washing machine, it can go in the bag. Everything in the bag has one price, so there is no counting shirts or socks, and a heavy bag costs the same as a light one up to the weight limit. Most guests send what builds up on a trip, from a damp swimsuit to the last creased pair of shorts. A 12kg bag suits bulky item washing, such as hoodies, jeans and big jumpers. Unsure about a piece? Ask in the chat before the driver arrives.
- Daily wear: T-shirts, shorts, trousers, underwear and socks.
- Pool time: swimwear, sarongs and light summer dresses.
- Gym: sports tops, leggings and sports socks.
- Towels: your own pool or gym towels, a simple towel laundry service in the same bag.
- Nights in: pyjamas, joggers and sweatshirts.
- Children: play clothes, if the family is with you.
Anything that must hang straight, like a work shirt or a suit, is better in Clean & Press.
From the lobby to our machines and back
Message us on WhatsApp with your name and when you will be at the lobby. That starts the order. Then:
- The driver takes your bag at the lobby or concierge, if the hotel allows it.
- The driver checks the items with you, and a secure payment link is texted to your phone.
- At our plant, your clothes are sorted by fabric and colour.
- Your order runs in its own machine, then dries on a low heat.
- Everything is folded by hand and goes back to the lobby once the link is paid.
A short message arrives at each step, so you always know where your order is.
Fabrics that do well in a bag
Cotton, jersey, polyester and denim are all fine in a bag wash. Most people pack these fabrics, and they return soft and folded.
Not sure about a piece? Check its care label. Hand wash, silk, lace and beading do not belong in a bag, so send them through Clean & Press. You can also message a photo of the label, and we tell you which service fits before the driver comes.
Keep these out of the bag
Some pieces need a different service, and sending them in a bag would not do them justice. Please keep these out of a Wash & Fold bag.
- Suits, blazers and fitted jackets.
- Silk, lace or beaded dresses.
- Kanduras, abayas and ghutras, which need pressing.
- Anything marked dry clean only.
- Leather, suede and anything with fur trim.
Send the suits, dresses and traditional wear to Clean & Press, and each piece is cleaned alone and comes back on a hanger.
Why the split? A bag wash is gentle enough for everyday cotton, but it cannot give a suit its shape or a dress its finish. Pressing and careful cleaning do that, one piece at a time. Not sure which side a piece falls on? Send a photo in the chat before the driver arrives.

What happens to your clothes in the wash
Your bag is opened and checked before anything goes near a machine. Pockets are emptied, and any mark is treated by hand first, because the heat of a dryer can set a stain for good. If you told us what made it, such as sun cream or coffee, that note goes with the garment.
- Sorting: whites, pale colours and darks go into separate loads.
- Washing: a mild, hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent with only a faint scent.
- Machine: your order has a drum to itself, and the drum is sanitised after every cycle.
- Drying: a low heat, so fabric stays soft and keeps its shape.
- Folding: by hand, so the bag goes straight into your suitcase.
Nothing is rushed. Each load runs through a full cycle before it is dried, and the dryer stays on a low heat so your clothes do not shrink or fade. Folding is the last step, done by hand, so the bag comes back looking tidy.
Handing over your bag at the lobby
Write your name on the bag or on a note inside it. Let the front desk know a driver is coming, because the handover only works if the hotel allows it. A closed bag with a name on it is much easier to find than a loose pile of clothes.
The driver waits at the lobby at your chosen time and does not go up to rooms. If the hotel prefers, the concierge can hold the bag until the driver arrives. Nothing is paid in the lobby. You pay with the secure link we text you after the driver has checked the items.
Plans if you are here a while
Staying a few weeks? A monthly plan can work out cheaper than single bags. Essential is one bag a week for AED 250 a month. Family is two bags a week for AED 450 a month. Without a plan, a 6kg bag is AED 65.
You pick a fixed weekday on WhatsApp, and the driver comes to the lobby that day. If your plans change, move a pickup or stop the plan in the same chat. Nothing is locked in, and no app is needed.
How long it takes, and what to tell us
Most bags come back within 24 hours. Hand yours over tonight and it is usually ready tomorrow evening. For something sooner, express takes 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and we cover your address. This is our same-day laundry service, the same-day hotel laundry option for urgent pieces rather than every bag.
When you book, please tell us:
- Your check-out or flight time.
- Any stain, and what caused it.
- Any allergy in your group.
- Anything you are worried about.
If a time cannot be met, we say so before we start, so you can plan around it.
Booking a bag the evening before a trip home works well for most guests, because it is usually ready by the next night.
Clean and press for shirts, suits and kanduras
Clean & Press is guest dry cleaning for pieces that must look sharp: work shirts, suits, dresses and traditional wear. A shirt is AED 18 and a kandura AED 15. Every garment is cleaned alone, steamed by hand and returned on a hanger. Pickup and delivery are free, and nothing joins a shared bag.

What is included
Each garment is handled on its own. A person first looks over the label, collar, cuffs and underarms, and deals with any mark by hand. A shirt worn through a long day of meetings gets that attention, and so does a kandura worn in the heat. Nothing is bundled with other orders.
- Cleaning: as the label allows, and not tipped into a shared load.
- Steaming: by hand, so creases lift and the cloth does not shine.
- Pressing: sharp collars, cuffs and pleats.
- Hanger: each piece comes back hanging and covered.
You get the garment back as you would expect from a good counter: clean, flat and ready for the hanger in your wardrobe.

The steps from the lobby and back
- Send your list, and say when you need the pieces back.
- Our driver takes them at the InterContinental lobby, if the hotel allows it.
- The driver checks the items, and a payment link is texted to you.
- We clean, steam and press each piece by hand.
- The garments return to the lobby on hangers once the link is paid.
You see each step in the chat, so you never have to ask where your order is. If a deadline matters, tell us the time when you first message.
Pieces that suit it best
Clean & Press suits anything you want to wear straight off the hanger. These are the pieces InterContinental guests send most.
- Work shirts and blouses for meetings and conferences.
- Suits and jackets for a ballroom event or a business dinner.
- Dresses for a wedding, a party or a night out.
- Kanduras, ghutras and jalabiyas for an event or the mosque.
- Abayas, plain or delicate.
- Linen shirts crushed in a suitcase on a long flight.
Each piece has its own price, so you pay only for what you send. One order can mix a suit, a dress and three shirts, and everything comes back together.
One suit or dress for the ballroom, three shirts for the week: send whatever you need, in whatever mix. Pieces for one order are kept together and returned together.
When another service fits better
Plain T-shirts, jeans, pyjamas and gym kit do not need pressing. Put them in a Wash & Fold bag instead, which costs less because it is one flat price for the whole bag.
A good rule: if you would hang it in a wardrobe, send it here. If you would fold it in a drawer, put it in the bag.

Looking after different fabrics and finishes
The care label comes first, and then we choose the cleaning that suits the cloth. This is how common fabrics are handled.
- Cotton and linen: steamed and pressed until crisp.
- Wool and suiting: cleaned gently and shaped on the hanger.
- Silk and satin: light handling and low heat.
- Kandura cloth: kept bright, with collar and cuffs checked by hand.
- Beaded or embroidered pieces: treated as delicate, so mention them when you book.
A piece with no care label, or one that is already damaged, is cleaned at your own risk. We say so before we begin. If you tell us when and where you plan to wear a piece, we keep that in mind.
If you tell us when and where you plan to wear a piece, for example a long day on your feet or an evening outdoors, we keep that in mind. Ask in the chat before you book if you have a question.
Collection and return at the lobby
Choose a time when you will be at the lobby, and tell the front desk that a driver is coming. If the hotel lets its concierge hold items, they can wait there for the driver instead.
Everything comes back covered and on hangers, to the same place, once the payment link is settled. Pickup and delivery cost nothing. Payment is only by the secure link we text you, so there is no cash or card handling at the lobby.
Pieces are covered for the trip back, so a pressed shirt does not crease in transit.
Timing for pressed pieces
Most pressed pieces are back within 24 hours. If you need something faster, book before 2 PM and ask for express suit pressing. We aim for 5 hours, as long as we cover your address.
Put the time of your meeting or dinner in the notes, and we tell you plainly whether it can be done. A clear deadline is the best way to protect your evening.
For a wedding or a long event, book a day ahead if you can, so there is room for a second try if a mark needs more work.
Marks, creases and special requests
Tell us about any mark and what caused it, such as coffee, sun cream or wine. We treat it by hand before cleaning, because the right treatment depends on the cause.
You can also ask for a particular finish, such as a sharp crease down the trousers. Put it in your notes and it stays with the order. If a piece worries you, say so when you book and we check it first. Loss or damage is covered up to ten times the cleaning price of that item.

What guests at InterContinental Festival City like about LPlaundry
A suitcase at InterContinental Festival City fills up fast
Meetings, ballroom dinners, pool days and a long flight can empty a suitcase in a few days at InterContinental Festival City. Hanging washing on a Dubai balcony is not allowed, so let us take care of it.
-
Labels first
Every care label is read before a piece goes near a machine, so a good shirt is not washed like a towel.
-
Mild detergent
A hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent that rinses out well, so it stays gentle on your skin.
-
Marks by hand
We treat stains by hand before washing, because heat can set a mark for good.
-
Colours apart
Whites, pale shades and darks go in separate loads, so a red swimsuit never stains a white shirt.
-
Your own machine
Your order has a machine to itself, so it is never washed with another guest's clothes.
-
Sanitised after every cycle
We sanitise the drum after every cycle. A gentle, low-heat dry keeps the fabric soft.

Can you collect laundry at the InterContinental Festival City lobby?

- Independent of the hotel and IHG
- Book with us directly
- Our own prices and rules
When will my laundry come back after I hand it over?
Most orders return within 24 hours, so it works as a next-day laundry service. Delicate pieces can take longer, and we warn you first. For something faster, express laundry delivery takes 5 hours when booked before 2 PM at a covered address.
- Most orders: back within 24 hours
- Express: book before 2 PM
- Pressed pieces: also within 24 hours
How much does laundry cost for guests staying at the hotel?

- Every price is in the Prices section
- A bag costs the same full or half full
- Each pressed piece has its own price
Can my laundry be ready before I fly out of Dubai?
Often, yes. The airport is about 2 km from the hotel, so give us your flight time when booking. Express takes 5 hours for orders placed before 2 PM, if we cover your address. If a deadline cannot be met, we say so before we start.
- Give your flight time
- Express where we cover your address
- We say if it cannot work

What happens if something is lost or damaged?

- Cover: up to 10 times the cleaning price
- Old damage or no label: owner's risk
- Raise worries when booking
Can my suit or dress be ready for a ballroom event or meeting?

- Add the event start time
- Express where we cover you
- Everything returns on hangers
Can you clean a kandura or abaya while I am staying here?
Yes. Kanduras, abayas, ghutras and jalabiyas are cleaned one at a time, steamed by hand and returned on hangers. A kandura is AED 15 and a plain abaya AED 18. Beaded or delicate pieces get a gentler process, so mention them.
- Each piece is cleaned alone
- Plain and delicate abayas are priced separately
- Returned on hangers, ready to wear
Do you also collect from Festival City apartments and the Residence Suites?
Often, yes. If you searched for a laundry service near me from an apartment, send us the building name and a location pin on WhatsApp. We confirm whether we cover it. If we do, you book exactly like a hotel guest.
