Up to 6kg fits in the standard bag, which suits one person on a short trip. If you are travelling as a family or staying longer, ask for the big bag of up to 12kg instead. Either way the price is flat, so you can fill the bag without counting.

Some pieces do better with a different service. Please take these out before you hand the bag to the driver, and send them separately.

• Suits, jackets and formal dresses: send these to Clean & Press, where they are pressed and returned on hangers.
• Silk, lace and heavy wool: water can harm them, so dry cleaning is the safer way.
• Anything beaded or sequinned: the trims can come loose in a machine.
• Valuables: passports, cards, jewellery, keys and chargers should stay with you.

If you are not sure about a piece, send a photo of the label on WhatsApp first.

Most guests ask for our next-day laundry service, and most bags come back within 24 hours.

• Standard: book in the morning and the bag is usually back the next day.
• Express: book before 2 PM and urgent pieces can be back in 5 hours, if your address is covered. Think of it as express laundry delivery for the pieces that cannot wait.
• Check first: a same-day laundry service is not possible for every order, so tell us your deadline when you message. Same-day hotel laundry depends on the time and your address.

Flying out in the evening? Tell us the time and we will work back from there.

Hotel laundry pickup works best when the plan is clear before the driver arrives, and it takes only a few messages.

• Where: the lobby or the concierge desk, if the hotel allows it. If you are in the serviced apartments, say so when you book and we will agree the meeting point with you.
• When: pick a time on WhatsApp. If you are out at a meeting, tell us and arrange the handover with the concierge, if the hotel allows it.
• Contactless: we offer contactless pickup and delivery, and you pay from your phone.
• Return: we bring the order back to the same spot and message you when the driver is on the way.

Stains are treated by hand before the wash, not after it.

• Tell us what caused the mark, such as coffee, sauce, sweat or sunscreen.
• Send the piece soon after it happens. Old marks are harder to lift.
• Stretchy sportswear and fine knits are washed on a cool setting.
• Sequins and beads are better with dry cleaning.

We always do our best, but we cannot promise that every mark will come out, especially an old one. Pieces with no care label are cleaned at your own risk.

Staying a month or more in a serviced apartment? A monthly plan is the budget-friendly wash and fold choice, because you never have to rebook.

• Essential: AED 250 each month for one bag a week.
• Family: AED 450 each month for two bags a week.
• Just once: AED 65 for a single bag, with no plan.

• Payment: after the driver checks your items, we text you a secure link. You can pay by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
• No cash: we do not take cash or cards at the hotel.
• Delivery: your clothes go out for delivery once the payment is made.
• Cover: if an item is lost or damaged, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item. Pieces that were already damaged, or that have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk.

If anything looks wrong when your order comes back, tell us straight away.

Clean & Press is for pieces that should come back flat, sharp and on a hanger.

• Everyday office wear: shirts, blouses, trousers and skirts.
• Formal wear: suits, jackets, ties and evening dresses.

• Winter wear: coats, for guests flying on to colder places.

Each piece is checked, cleaned, pressed by hand and covered, so it can go straight into your wardrobe at the hotel or into a garment bag. Every item here has a price in the table, so you know the cost before the driver arrives.

Business travellers send us the most work. A shirt and a suit sent in the morning can be waiting for the next day's meeting.

• Send the shirts and the suit together, and they come back together.
• Tell us the meeting time so we plan the delivery around it.
• Ties are priced per piece, so add the one you want to wear.
• For a same-day need, ask about express before 2 PM.

You can WhatsApp a photo of the suit if you want to check the fabric first.

Guests at a wedding or a family event often need traditional wear and evening outfits looking their best, with little time to spare.

• Kandura: the collar and cuffs are pressed sharp, and the piece comes back on a hanger.
• Ghutra: cleaned and shaped, with starch if you tell us you want it.
• Abaya: choose basic or delicate. Embroidered or stone-set pieces should be marked delicate.
• Jalabiya and kurta: cleaned and pressed one by one.
• Evening dress: cleaned by hand. Tell us about beads or sequins when you book.

Each of these has its own price in the table above, so you know the total before you book.

• How: message us the pieces and the time you need them. We confirm whether express can be done for your order.
• Pay: the secure link arrives after the driver checks the items, and the clothes go out once it is paid.

Please do not wait until late afternoon, because the cut-off is firm. Earlier in the day always gives us more room.

Everything comes back on hangers and covered, so it stays smooth on the way back to Movenpick Bur Dubai. Folded pieces from a wash and fold bag arrive in the bag. If you are flying out soon, ask for your garments to be packed ready for a suitcase or a garment bag.
