LPlaundry is an independent laundry service for guests at Novotel World Trade Centre Dubai. We collect from the hotel, if the hotel allows it, and bring your clothes back within 24 hours. A bag of everyday clothes is AED 65, a shirt is AED 18 and a kandura is AED 15. Pickup and delivery are free, so you pay only for the cleaning.

What fits in one bag
One bag holds about 6kg of clothes. That is roughly a week of shirts, T-shirts, trousers, underwear and socks for one person on a business trip.
Fill the bag as full as you like, up to the weight. The price stays the same, so there is no counting, and no weighing at the door of Novotel World Trade Centre.

When you need the bigger bag
A stay of ten days or more fills a bag quickly. The bigger bag takes up to 12kg for AED 120, which is the better deal for a long conference run or a family holiday at Novotel World Trade Centre.
You can also send two smaller bags on different days if you prefer. Each one is priced on its own, with the same free pickup and delivery.
If you are not sure which bag to pick, message us the rough number of days and we will suggest one.
How we wash your clothes
We sort lights and darks first, so a dark T-shirt does not dull a white one. The wash uses a mild, hypoallergenic detergent that is also biodegradable.
Each piece is then dried and folded by hand. Your bag comes back clean and folded, ready to go straight into the wardrobe or the suitcase.
If you have a mark you are worried about, put it in the booking note and we will look at it before the wash.
What belongs in a different service
Some pieces are better as a different service. Suits, silk, evening dresses, sequins and anything marked dry clean only should go to Clean & Press, where they are cleaned one piece at a time.
Pieces that are only creased, not dirty, can go for pressing only. Tell us when you book and we will sort it out.

Washing between meetings
A busy exhibition week does not leave much time. Hand the bag over in the morning before you leave for the halls, and have it back clean the next day.
If you are leaving in the evening, tell us your flight time. We can see if express reaches your address, and plan the return around it.
The airport is about a 10 minute drive from the hotel, so a bag handed in before lunch can usually be back before the trip. Guests at Novotel World Trade Centre often plan it this way.
Paying for your order
After the driver checks your items, we send you a secure payment link by text. You can pay by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Nothing is paid in the lobby, and nobody takes cash or cards from you. Your clothes are sent for delivery once the payment goes through, so there is no waiting at the desk.

Plans if you stay longer
If you live or work nearby, a monthly plan can save money. The Essential plan is one bag a week for AED 250 each month. The Family plan is two bags a week for AED 450 each month.
A single bag is AED 65, so a plan makes sense only if you send laundry every week. For a short stay at Novotel World Trade Centre, one bag at a time is simpler.
If something goes missing or gets damaged
We take care of every item, but if something is lost or damaged, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.
Items that are already damaged, or have no care label, are washed at the owner's risk. The driver checks your items with you at Novotel World Trade Centre, so you both see what goes in the bag.
Check the pockets before you hand the bag over. Phones, cards and keys are easy to forget after a long day.
Clean & Press for suits and shirts
Clean & Press is for shirts, suits, dresses and traditional wear that must look sharp. A shirt is AED 18 and a kandura is AED 15. It works as guest dry cleaning at the hotel: each piece is checked, cleaned on its own process, steamed by hand and returned on a hanger. Pickup and return at Novotel World Trade Centre are free.

What we do to a shirt
Your shirt is checked for marks first, then cleaned and steamed by hand. It comes back on a hanger.
That is a good fix for a shirt that has spent a few days in a suitcase. Tell us if there is a mark on the collar or cuff, and we will look at it before cleaning.
If you have shirts for each day of a show, send them all together. They are priced one by one, and they come back together.
Suits for meetings and dinners
A two-piece suit is cleaned as one order and returned on a hanger. Give us the day you need it back and we plan around it.
If only the jacket needs attention, send it alone. For a dinner at Novotel World Trade Centre, book early in the day so there is time before the evening.
Evening dresses and formal wear
An evening dress for a gala or a wedding is cleaned on its own, never mixed with other orders. Tell us if it has sequins, beads or a thin lining.
Silk and chiffon are cleaned to the care label. Crepe is steamed by hand, so it hangs well.
Hang it up as soon as it arrives, and keep it in the wardrobe until you leave for the event.
Kanduras and abayas
A kandura is AED 15 and an abaya starts at the basic price on the table. Each is steamed and returned on a hanger.
Ghutras, jalabiyas and kurtas are priced the same way, one piece at a time.
Reading the dots on a care label
Look inside the collar or side seam for the care label. The dots show how much heat a fabric can take: one dot is low, two are medium and three are high.
If a label is missing or rubbed off, tell us. Items with no care label are cleaned at the owner's risk, so we ask you to say so before you hand them over.

Pressing only, no wash
If your clothes are clean and only creased, choose pressing only. It is priced on its own list and the pieces come back on hangers.
It suits a shirt that has been folded in a suitcase for days.
Express for urgent pieces
Need a shirt or suit for tonight? Book before 2 PM and express can bring it back in 5 hours, if your address is covered. There is no extra fee.
Message us the hotel name, and we will confirm if Novotel World Trade Centre is covered.
Lost or damaged items
If an item is lost or damaged while with us, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.

Yes. Put swimwear and gym kit in the wash and fold bag with the rest of your clothes. Everything is washed, dried and folded by hand, and you pay the same flat price for the whole bag. It is a good use of the hotel pool and gym.

Is the detergent safe for sensitive skin?
