A 6kg bag holds a week of light travel clothes. Think of five or six T-shirts, a few pairs of shorts, underwear and socks, a pair of jeans, and your gym or pool kit. Dubai clothes are thin, so most guests fit more than they expect.

Fill the bag at Fairmont Dubai before the driver arrives, and do not worry about folding. Everything is sorted when it reaches us. If the bag turns out heavy, the driver tells you at the lobby, and we move you up to the 12kg bag before anything is washed.

Keep silk, beaded pieces, suits and your best shirts out of the bag. Those go to Clean & Press, where each one is handled on its own and returned on a hanger.

We open your bag and sort by colour and fabric before anything goes in a machine. Whites stay with whites, dark clothes wash on their own, and bright pieces are kept apart so nothing runs onto your T-shirts.

Gym kit and swimwear get the same care as a cotton shirt. We read the labels as we sort, and we check pockets for pens, cards and room keys left behind.

If a piece looks wrong for the bag, such as a silk top or a jacket, we set it aside and message you on WhatsApp. You then choose to clean it or send it back.

Fairmont Dubai has a spa, a fitness area and a rooftop pool, and kit from all three ends up in the laundry. Sweat does not rinse out of a cotton top in a hotel sink, and sun cream marks stay behind on swimwear.

Put it all in the bag, damp or dry. We wash it with hypoallergenic detergent, dry it on low heat and fold it. Stretch fabric keeps its shape at that setting.

Swimsuits come back rinsed of chlorine and sun cream. Tell us if a swimsuit is delicate, and we can send it to Clean & Press instead.

Everything in a wash and fold bag is dried on low heat. That is gentler on cotton, jersey and stretch fabric, and it protects the shape of your T-shirts and the fit of your shorts.

Hot dryers shrink clothes and wear them out early. A low setting takes longer, but your clothes last the rest of the trip and the next one too.

Your bag is dried on its own, then folded by hand, so it comes back ready to go straight into the suitcase.

Pick the 6kg bag if you are one person on a short trip. It is the best price laundry service choice for a few nights away, since the price stays the same whatever the mix of clothes.

Pick the 12kg bag for two people, a family, or a stay of two weeks or more. It is still a flat rate and still collected free from Fairmont Dubai. Families with children often find one big bag works out better than two small ones.

You do not need to weigh anything yourself. The driver checks the bag with you at pickup, and we confirm the size and the price before your clothes are washed.

Message us your room number and the time you want the driver. We meet you in the Fairmont Dubai lobby or at the concierge, if the hotel allows it. It is contactless pickup and delivery if you prefer: leave the bag at the desk and we confirm by message.

Our driver checks the items with you, and a secure payment link is texted to you after that. Nothing is paid in cash or by card in the lobby.

When your order is ready, we bring it back to the same place.

Staying a month or more at Fairmont Dubai? A plan saves you booking every week. Essential is one bag a week for AED 250 a month, and Family is two bags a week for AED 450 a month.

A single 6kg bag is AED 65, so a plan pays off if you would send more than a couple of bags across the month.

Plans suit consultants on a long project, families on an extended holiday and guests waiting for a home to be ready. Ask on WhatsApp which plan fits your stay and when the first pickup could be.

Short on time between flights? Send your bag the morning after you land and it can be back within 24 hours, like a next-day laundry service, folded and ready to repack. For a stopover with a late flight, tell us the hour and we plan the pickup around it.

Where your address is covered, express may handle very urgent items in 5 hours if you book before 2 PM. Message us the hotel name and we confirm what is possible.

On a holiday week, a single bag half way through the stay means you pack light and wear fresh clothes for the second half. Clean & Press pieces for a wedding or event can go in the same pickup as your bag.

The price covers cleaning and pressing one piece. That includes a hand check, treatment of marks, and a proper finish on a hanger, so the piece is ready to wear when you open the cover.

Pickup and delivery are free, so the price on the table is what you pay. Nothing is added for the van, and nothing is added for express either.

Booking ahead or at the last minute makes no difference to the price. If your address is covered and you book before 2 PM, we can offer the 5 hour option for an urgent piece.

Packing a suit for a conference or an exhibition at Dubai World Trade Centre? Give it to our driver at the lobby, and it can come back pressed in time for the first session.

We clean and press the jacket and trousers together, so the colour and finish match. A suit that has been in a suitcase for hours picks up creases across the lap and sleeves, and the press takes those out.

For express suit pressing, message us early. We confirm on WhatsApp if your address is covered.

Weddings and gala nights are the reasons guests send dresses. Tell us if there are beads, sequins or a lining, and we pick the right process. Beaded and sequin pieces are dry cleaned, not washed in the machine.

Evening dresses and blouses come back on hangers, covered and ready to hang in the wardrobe. A silk blouse is never put in a bag with heavy fabrics.

If the dress is for tonight, ask about express before 2 PM. If the label says dry clean only, we follow it every time. Where there is no label, we tell you the risk before we start.

Kanduras and abayas are cleaned and pressed with care. White kanduras get a collar treatment by hand first, and abayas come back flat on a hanger.

Ghutras, jalabiyas and kurtas are done the same way, each priced by the item. Heavily beaded or embroidered abayas are priced as delicate. Send us a photo on WhatsApp if you are not sure which one yours is.

A care label is the maker telling you what the fabric can take. Dots on a drying symbol show how hot the dryer may be: one dot means low heat, two dots mean medium.

A circle means dry cleaning is allowed, and a cross through it means do not dry clean. A crossed-out press symbol means no hot press.

We read every label before we start. If an item has no label, or is already damaged, we clean it at your own risk and tell you first.

Ties and light jackets are small pieces that travel badly. A tie from a dinner is cleaned by hand and returned flat on a hanger. A light jacket worn for one evening can be pressed and returned the next day.

These smaller items are priced like everything else on the table, so you can add one or two to your pickup without paying extra for the trip.

Winter coats are for guests heading from Dubai to a colder city after the trip. Send one the day before you fly and it comes back clean and pressed, ready to wear on the plane.

Tell us about the fabric when you book. A wool coat and a padded coat are handled differently, and we want to choose the right process before we start.

Send your clean and press list on WhatsApp with your room and the hotel, Fairmont Dubai. We agree a pickup time, and you see the prices from the table.

After the driver has checked the items with you, you receive a secure payment link by text. Pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Clothes go out for delivery once you have paid.

Loss or damage cover is up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item. Items that are already damaged, or have no care label, are cleaned at the owner's risk.
