If you have more than 6kg, book a second bag or ask about the 12kg size. If you are not sure where a piece belongs, message us a photo of its care label and we will tell you which service fits. Most guests find one bag covers a week's worth of casual clothes for one person.

Washing a guest's bag follows the same careful routine every time. We look at the care label first and then choose the wash to match the fabric, rather than putting everything through one cycle.

• Sorted: whites, lights and darks are kept apart, so a black T-shirt does not dull a white shirt.
• Checked: we look at collars, cuffs and underarms before the wash, and we treat visible marks by hand.
• Washed: with a mild, biodegradable detergent that is rinsed out properly, so nothing harsh stays on the fabric.

Tell us if something is new, brightly coloured or likely to bleed. We would rather wash it on its own than risk the rest of the bag. A short note on the booking is all it takes.

A bag of clothes from a trip is rarely uniform. There might be white linen shirts, black gym kit and a silk scarf bought at the souk, all in one bag. Sorting is where a careful laundry earns its keep, and it happens before anything is washed.

• Colours apart: darker pieces never go in with pale ones.
• Fine fabrics apart: thin, light pieces get a gentler cycle than denim and heavy cotton.
• Labels first: if a label says dry clean only, we will tell you and offer Clean & Press instead.

A quick note on the booking helps, for example "red shirt, may run". We read every note before the bag is sorted, so your instructions are not lost on the way to the machine.

After the wash, your clothes are dried at a low heat that suits most everyday fabrics. Cotton T-shirts, jeans and gym kit come out soft and ready to fold, and nothing is left damp. Damp clothes in a suitcase turn musty fast, so drying fully matters most when you are travelling.

• Dried gently: low heat keeps colours and stretch in good shape.
• Folded flat: T-shirts and trousers are folded so they pack well in a suitcase.
• Shirts on hangers: if you ordered Clean & Press for shirts, they come back hanging.

Your bag is returned folded and ready to pack, so you can go straight from the lift to the suitcase.

It is tempting to rinse a few things in the sink and hang them outside to dry. In Dubai, that is a bad idea. Dubai's balcony rules do not allow airing laundry on a balcony, and a fine can follow. It also rarely works well for other reasons.

• Humidity: in summer, the air often holds so much moisture that clothes stay damp for hours, and they can smell stale by the time they dry.
• Dust: a gusty shamal wind can leave sand on anything hung outside.
• Easy fix: give us the bag, and it comes back dry, folded and fresh.

Booking is quick, and you can do it in a minute from your phone. It is on-demand laundry that fits around your day, whether you are in Dubai for two nights or two months.

The hotel has a leisure deck on the 11th floor with a pool and a gym, so guests often end up with damp trunks, swimsuits and sweaty tops. Hotel towels and robes stay in the room, but your own kit can go straight in the bag.

• Swimwear: rinse it in fresh water after the pool, then bag it. Chlorine left on fabric can weaken it over time.
• Sports tops: do not leave them in a closed bag overnight. Bag them soon after the workout, so smells do not set into the fabric.
• Trainers: shoe care is a separate service, so ask us about it when you book.

If you are staying a month or more, or you live in one of the serviced apartments, a plan can save you time. You choose a fixed pickup day, and the bags come back on a regular rhythm, so you never have to think about the laundry basket again.

• Essential: AED 250 a month for four bags, one a week.

Most guests ask the same question: will it be back before I check out or fly? Standard return is within 24 hours, so a bag handed over on Monday morning is usually back on Tuesday. We confirm the time when you book.

• Check-out day: book at least a day before, and choose a delivery time before you leave.
• Late flights: tell us your flight time when you book, and we will plan around it.
• Urgent pieces: express can be 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered.

Clean & Press is for clothes that need more than a machine wash. Each piece is checked, cleaned by the method that suits its fabric, then pressed with steam and put on a hanger. It is the service guests choose when how a piece looks matters as much as whether it is clean.

• Per item: you pay for each piece, so a single shirt costs the same as one in a pile of ten.
• Right method: we read the care label and choose the cleaning that fits.
• Finished by hand: pieces are steam pressed, not left to crease in a bag.

It is the service to pick for work clothes, formal wear and anything that must look sharp the moment it arrives.

Business trips create shirt problems. You pack five, wear them for two days each and then need one that looks fresh for the big meeting. Send the shirts in the morning, and they can come back pressed on hangers.

• One price per shirt, any sleeve length.

A suit that has spent a flight folded in a case comes out creased and a little tired. Clean & Press freshens it and presses it so the jacket and trousers look as they should, and both pieces come back finished the same way.

• Two-piece suit: jacket and trousers together, priced as one suit.
• Jacket only: send a single jacket if the trousers are fine.
• Ties: add the tie, and the outfit comes back as a set.

If you need the suit for an event the same day, tell us when you book. Express suit pressing takes 5 hours when you book before 2 PM and your address is covered. Say when you need it back, and we will confirm whether we can do it.

A tie often gets a spot of food or coffee at dinner. Send it for cleaning with the suit, so you do not have to hunt for a replacement the morning before a meeting.

The price is per item, so it is easy to see what you pay. Pocket squares and scarves can go in the same order, and we will quote them when you ask.

Traditional wear is priced item by item, and it is handled with care. A kandura is AED 15. A ghutra and an abaya are priced on the table above, so you can see the total before you book anything.

• Kandura: cleaned and steam pressed to its full length, so it hangs straight.
• Abaya: plain and delicate versions have different prices. Mention beading or sheer layers when you book.
• Ghutra: pressed flat so the cloth sits cleanly.
• Jalabiya and kurta: cleaned and pressed, with a price for each.

If you are visiting for a wedding or a family event, send these pieces early so they are back well before the day.

Dubai is a city of weddings, galas and dinners, and many guests arrive with one good dress that has to look perfect. Evening dresses often have fine fabric, sequins or beading, so they need a careful look before cleaning begins.

• Tell us about the fabric and any trim when you book.
• Keep the dress on a hanger until the driver arrives.
• We check the label and choose a suitable cleaning method.

A dress that is already damaged is cleaned at your own risk, so mention any weak spots before you hand it over. Book early for a wedding, so it is back with time to spare.

Sometimes a piece is clean but creased from the suitcase. In that case, you do not need a full clean. Pressing only gives it a steam press without washing it.

It suits shirts, trousers, blouses and kanduras that only need to look smooth for the evening. Pick it when you already know the piece is clean, and you only want the creases gone.

Most Clean & Press orders come back within 24 hours. Delicate pieces such as silk, beaded dresses and abayas can take longer, because they need more time and care. We confirm the time when you book, so you know when to expect the delivery to the hotel.
