One bag takes up to 6kg of clothes. For most guests at Citymax Bur Dubai that is a few days of T-shirts, shorts, jeans, gym kit and underwear.

• Pack it loosely, so everything gets properly washed.
• Leave valuables, cards and room keys out of the pockets.
• If you have more, ask for the big bag, up to 12kg.

The whole bag has one flat price, so there is no need to count socks or T-shirts. If you are close to the limit, tell us in the chat and we will say which bag fits.

When your bag reaches our laundry, the clothes are sorted by colour, and any marks are treated by hand. Then they are washed with a mild, hypoallergenic detergent in a clean machine.

• Whites and light colours are washed apart from dark ones.
• Stains are looked at before the wash, not after it.
• Everything is dried and folded by hand.

It is ordinary laundry care, done properly. Nothing is rushed because it came from a hotel, and your bag is checked again before it goes back out.

Washing a new black shirt with a white gym top is how clothes get ruined, so we keep lights and darks apart.

If something is thin, stretchy or easily marked, tell us in the chat and we will wash it more gently. Beaded or sequined pieces are better in dry cleaning, so we move them across to Clean & Press and let you know first.

Anything with a do-not-wash label goes there as well. You will not find out about it at the lobby.

Some things are better in Clean & Press, where each piece is cleaned singly and returned on a hanger.

If you are not sure where something belongs, message us a photo of the care label before the pickup. We will tell you which service it needs and what it costs, so there are no surprises when the driver arrives.

Your clothes come back to Citymax Bur Dubai within 24 hours, folded neatly and ready to go into a suitcase. The driver brings them to the lobby.

Before they go out, we check the bag with you and text you the payment link. The bag is released for delivery once the payment shows.

Folded clothes stay folded until you open the bag, so you can pack straight from it.

Staying for a weekend or a short work trip? Book your pickup the evening you arrive, and your clean clothes can be waiting by the next evening.

For something you need sooner, ask in the chat about express.

Leave a note if you check out early, and we will plan the time around your flight or your taxi. That way the bag is back before you pack.

Regular visitors to Dubai can use a monthly plan instead of a one-off bag, which can suit anyone who stays at the same hotel again and again.

• Essential: AED 250 a month for one bag a week.
• Family: AED 450 a month for two bags a week.
• One-off: AED 65 per 6kg bag.

Plans are paid monthly. Most hotel guests simply book one bag at a time, and that is fine.

Dubai summers are hot and humid, so clothes are worn through quickly. A shirt that looked fine at breakfast can be damp by lunchtime, especially on a day of walking.

That is why many guests send a bag halfway through a stay. A clean set of clothes in the suitcase makes the next few days easier.

If your clothes are damp, put them in a plastic bag until the driver arrives, so they do not sit in the wet and pick up a smell.

Clean & Press is for the pieces you cannot just throw in a bag. Each one is looked over, cleaned alone, steamed and hung up.

A suit that has been in a suitcase for hours comes out creased. Cleaning and pressing takes out the folds and freshens it, so it looks right when you put it on.

• A two-piece suit is done as a pair.
• The jacket keeps its shape on a hanger.
• Ties can be added to the same order.

Shirts come back on hangers, cleaned and steamed by hand. That is the easiest way to carry them to a meeting or a dinner without adding new creases on the way. A blouse follows the same process, and so does a kurta.

The care label on a garment shows how it can be cleaned, and we read it for every piece so you do not have to.

• A circle means it can be dry cleaned.
• A circle with a line under it means it needs gentler handling.
• A circle crossed out means it should not be dry cleaned.

If there is no label, or it is torn, we will tell you before we clean the piece. Ask us in the chat if you are unsure what a symbol means.

Express means 5 hours, and it needs your booking in by 2 PM. We check the hotel address before we confirm the time with you.

Without express, the standard time is 24 hours.

Each item is counted and checked with you at pickup. The payment link arrives by text after that.

Nothing goes out for delivery until you have paid, and nobody asks for cash or card details in the lobby.

If an item is lost or damaged, the cover reaches ten times its cleaning price. A piece that was already damaged, or has no care label, is cleaned at the owner's risk.
