Every bag from the hotel goes through the same steps, so you know what to expect.

• Pockets checked: we take out cards, coins, keys, receipts and pens before anything goes in the drum. One pen can ruin a whole load.
• Sorted by colour: whites and pale clothes go together, darks and denim go together, and soft fabrics get a cooler wash.
• Washed and rinsed: we use a mild detergent and rinse every load well.
• Dried on low heat: this stops cotton from shrinking.
• Folded by hand: each piece is checked again as it is folded and packed.

Then the bag is brought back to you at Pullman Dubai Downtown.

There are two sizes. The small bag holds up to 6kg and the large bag holds up to 12kg. Each one has a flat price.

Six kilos is roughly a week of casual clothes for one person. If you are travelling as a couple, with children, or for two weeks, the large bag usually works out cheaper than two small ones.

You do not have to weigh anything yourself. We weigh the bag when the driver collects it, and the price is shown to you before you pay.

The bag is for everyday clothes: T-shirts, shorts, jeans, pyjamas, underwear, socks, gym kit and swimwear. A week of travel fits in one bag, so it stays budget-friendly.

• Pack wet swimwear in a separate bag so it does not mark other clothes.
• Keep shirts, suits and dresses for Clean & Press, where each piece is priced alone.
• Tell us about silk, lace or anything labelled hand wash only.

Hotel towels and robes stay in your room.

Wine from a dinner, coffee on a morning shirt, sun cream from the pool: each stain is looked at before the wash and not after the dryer. Heat can set a stain for good, so we treat it first.

When you book, say what the mark is and where it sits. A short note such as "red wine on the white shirt" is enough. It helps us pick the right treatment for the fabric.

Some marks do not fully lift, especially old ones. If that happens we will tell you, and we never promise what a stain will do before we have seen it.

Most of Dubai gets a normal bag back within 24 hours. That makes us a next-day laundry service for most stays: send the bag one evening and have it the next.

Need something sooner? Express laundry delivery is for urgent pieces. Order before 2 PM from a covered address and urgent pieces can be back in about 5 hours. There is no express fee.

Send your location pin on WhatsApp first, and we will confirm that the hotel is inside the express area. Same-day laundry service is not guaranteed for every address.

Ask the lobby or concierge whether the driver can meet you at Pullman Dubai Downtown. You pass the bag to the driver there, when the hotel agrees. This is doorstep laundry pickup, only at the hotel entrance.

The driver checks the items with you. After that, a secure payment link is texted to you. Bank cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are fine.

We do not take cash, and nobody asks for a card in the lobby. Once the payment is made, your laundry goes out for delivery.

Staying a month or more, or working in Dubai for a season? A monthly plan can cost less than booking single bags each time.

Both are paid monthly, and the exact prices are in the table above. A bag is up to 6kg, and nothing is charged for collection or return. You book each collection in the same WhatsApp chat, so it works for guests with long stays or regular visits.

Our detergent is commercial-grade, hypoallergenic and biodegradable. The machines are sanitised after every load, and every customer's laundry is washed on its own. That matters on a trip, when you want to know where your clothes have been.

If something is lost or damaged, you are covered for up to 10 times what that item costs to clean. Tell us in the chat and we will deal with it. Anything already damaged, or with no care label, is washed at the owner's risk.

Everything comes back folded in a bag, at Pullman Dubai Downtown.

Every piece is looked at by hand before anything is done to it. We check the care label, the fabric and any marks, and then pick the right method for that piece.

• Checked: label, fabric and stains.
• Cleaned: washed in cool water, or cleaned by the method that suits the fabric.
• Dried: dried with filtered air, not a hot tumble.
• Steamed: pressed by hand, one piece at a time.
• Checked again: before it goes on a hanger in a breathable cover.

A two-piece suit goes through as a pair, so the jacket and trousers stay the same shade. Guests who come for conferences or board meetings often send the suit the evening before.

For express suit pressing, order before 2 PM, as long as the hotel is inside the express area. Tell us when the meeting starts, and we will aim for that.

Dresses, blouses and evening gowns are cleaned one at a time. Silk, satin and lace each need a different touch, so say what the fabric is when you book, and mention any beading or sequins.

Pieces return on hangers in breathable covers, easy to carry down to an event. If you fly the day after, book a day earlier than you think you need.

Anything already damaged, or with no care label, is cleaned at the owner's risk. We do not offer mending or alterations.

Shirts are priced per piece. Each is cleaned, then steamed by hand and hung. Send a few at once and they come back together, ready for the wardrobe in your room.

Kanduras, ghutras, abayas, jalabiyas and kurtas each have their own price in the table. Each is cleaned by hand and pressed, then returned on a hanger.

Abayas come in two types. A basic abaya has a plain cut. A delicate abaya has beading, lace or fine fabric, and costs more.

For a family event or wedding, send these a day ahead of when you need them. Urgent pieces can go express too, when you order before 2 PM and the hotel is in the express area.

Order before 2 PM and urgent pieces can be back in about 5 hours, where your address is covered. There is no express fee. Send your pin on WhatsApp first so we can check the area.

A standard order is back within 24 hours. Delicate pieces can take longer, depending on the piece, so do not leave them to the last day before a flight. Ask us on WhatsApp if you are unsure which timing applies to your piece.
