Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in Downtown Dubai

Every bag we collect in Downtown Dubai goes through the same steps, whichever building it comes from.

• Pockets checked: we take out coins, receipts, metro cards and lip balm. A pen left in a pocket can stain every piece in the drum.
• Split by colour: whites and light shades are washed together, and darks and denim separately. Mesh and lace get a cooler cycle.
• Marks treated first: coffee, make-up and sweat stains are worked on before the wash. A dryer's heat can set a stain for good.
• A gentle wash: the detergent is hypoallergenic and biodegradable. Each load gets a full rinse. Your clothes smell fresh, with no heavy scent.
• Dried on low heat: this stops cotton shrinking and keeps elastic springy.
• Folded by hand: we look over each piece as we fold it. After that, your bag is packed for the drive back to Downtown.

Clothes you'd normally hang, like work shirts and kanduras, belong in Clean & Press.

1. Message us on WhatsApp. Send a location pin, your building name and your apartment number. There's no app to download.
2. Pack the bag. Only everyday clothes go in. Empty the pockets, because one tissue can leave bits on everything. Label it with your name and apartment.
3. We pick it up. Collection from your door is free. Or hand it to the concierge, if your building has one.
4. We wash it. We sort everything into loads, then wash, dry and fold it.
5. We bring it back. We message you on WhatsApp as the driver sets off for Downtown. Delivery is free as well.

Sending office shirts too? Pack them separately for Clean & Press and add them to your booking message. The same driver takes both.

A simple test: would you put it in your own washing machine? Then it can go in our bag. Leave out anything labelled do not wash or hand wash only. A bag from Downtown Dubai might hold:

• Gym kit: leggings, shorts, sports tops and socks.
• Casual office wear: polo shirts and T-shirts you don't need to hang.
• Weekend clothes: jeans, joggers and hoodies. Turn dark jeans inside out.
• Hot-weather wear: linen shirts, cotton tops and light dresses. Dubai summers are regularly above 38°C, so these get washed a lot.
• Swimwear: swimsuits and swim shorts. Rinse them in clean water before packing.
• Kids' clothes: school uniforms, pyjamas and playwear. Close the zips first.

Our bag takes everyday clothes and nothing else. We do clean all of the things below, but each is priced separately. If you book them at the same time, a single pickup from your Downtown Dubai apartment covers all of it.

• Office shirts, suits, kanduras and abayas: these go to Clean & Press. You pay per piece and get them back on hangers.
• Silk, wool, sequins and beads: book dry cleaning for these. Water isn't safe for them.
• Bath towels and gym towels: these belong in Bed & Bath and are priced one by one.
• Hand-wash knitwear and underwired bras: please leave these out. Unsure what a label means? Send us a picture of it.
• Curtains, rugs and trainers: each has its own service further up this page.

Before any washing starts, we sort each load from Downtown Dubai. Here's what we look for.

• Colours that run: new jeans and bright cotton can bleed in the first few washes, so they stay away from whites.
• Weight: denim and heavy zips can scuff thin fabrics, so heavier pieces get their own wash.
• One machine per customer: your clothes are washed on their own and never mixed with anyone else's.
• Clean machines: we sanitise every drum before the next customer's load.
• Detergent: it's a commercial-grade product, hypoallergenic and biodegradable. Gym kit holds sweat in the seams, so it gets a thorough rinse.
• Careful drying: a hot dryer can shrink cotton and stretch elastic out of shape. We make sure cuffs, waistbands and seams are fully dry before we fold.
• Last look: a button hanging loose or a stain that stayed? We tell you on WhatsApp.

Downtown Dubai is on our regular Dubai rounds. Pickup and delivery are both free, wherever your building is.

• Tower apartments: Downtown has residential towers around Burj Khalifa and the Boulevard. Send us your tower name and apartment number, plus a location pin.
• Old Town buildings: the Old Town has low-rise buildings in an Arabic style. Tell us which building and which apartment.
• Where we collect: from your front door, or from the concierge where your building has one.
• Landmarks that help: The Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera and the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall metro station.

Need a bag collected from Downtown Dubai most weeks? Then a budget-friendly wash and fold plan is worth a look. The driver comes on a fixed day each week. You don't need to rebook. Bags on a plan cost less than booking them one at a time.

• Essential: AED 250 a month covers four bags, collected once a week. Right for a single person or a couple.
• Family: AED 450 a month covers eight bags, collected two at a time each week. Enough for a household's uniforms, gym kit and work wear.

Need your clothes today? We also offer a same-day laundry service. Ask for express laundry delivery when you book, and book before 2 PM. Express brings a bag back 5 hours after pickup, for addresses inside the express area. Ask us in the chat whether your building is one of them.

• Show us the stain: make-up on a collar, coffee on a sleeve, sauce on a child's T-shirt. Tell us where it is.
• Tell us what you tried: bleach, stain sprays and hot water can set a mark. Say so in your message.
• Dry sweaty kit first: damp gym clothes left in a closed bag start to smell in the heat. Hang them up for an hour before packing.

The price you see for a shirt from Downtown Dubai is all you pay. Stain treatment, hangers and covers cost nothing extra.

• Checked on arrival: each piece is counted against your list and we read its care label. Loose buttons are noted.
• Stains done by hand: marks are treated before any heat reaches them.
• Cleaned for the fabric: cotton shirts go into a cool wash, which keeps the size right. More delicate fabrics get what their label asks for.
• Dried on hangers: hung in filtered air rather than tumbled, which keeps sleeve length right.
• Steamed in order: the collar and cuffs come first. The back and sleeves are done last.
• Three final checks, then into a cover and back to your Downtown apartment.

1. List what's going. For example, "two suits, five work shirts and a kandura". Include your tower and apartment. Tell us if you like creases sharp or soft.
2. Use two bags. Hanging clothes go in one bag, folded washing in the other.
3. Free collection. Leave them at your door for us. Your tower's front desk is fine too, if it has one.
4. Finished one by one. We complete each piece before starting the next.
5. Returned on hangers. Normally the next day, in a breathable cover.

An easy rule: anything that needs a hanger to look good belongs in clean and press. From a Downtown Dubai wardrobe, that could mean:

• Work shirts: poplin, oxford and twill cotton. We always start at the collar.
• Linen: shirts and trousers crease as soon as you sit down, and steam smooths them again.
• Blouses and skirts: viscose and crepe wrinkle quickly and are best kept on a hanger.
• Suits and chinos: usually wool or cotton blends. Jackets are steamed on a dummy so the lapels lie flat.
• Kanduras and thobes: mostly white cotton or a cotton-poly blend. The front is steamed until it's smooth.
• Ghutras: smoothed out flat on a table. You fold it the way you like.
• Abayas and jalabiyas: georgette and crepe get steam and nothing else. Black stays a deep, flat black. For a shayla price, ask us on WhatsApp.
• Kurta sets: we keep the top and the trousers as one set.

• Already washed and just creased? Book Pressing. It smooths clothes without washing them again.
• Silk, lace, thick wool, or anything beaded or sequinned? These need dry cleaning, because water can spoil them.
• Just T-shirts, socks, gym kit and pyjamas? Put those in a Wash & Fold bag.

Not sure? A quick picture of the label on WhatsApp settles it. You'll hear back before the driver reaches Downtown Dubai.

Care labels show heat as one, two or three dots. The dots give the highest heat a fabric can take, and our steamer stays below it. Three dots, about 200°C, means cotton or linen. Two dots, about 150°C, means wool, silk or polyester blends. One dot, about 110°C, means synthetics such as acrylic. A crossed-out symbol means steam only, with no plate.

• No hot plate on dark crepe: it can go shiny, so black abayas and dark trousers are only steamed.
• More time on collars and cuffs: people notice them first.
• We remember your creases: a sharp line, a soft one, none, or packed flat for a trip. We keep a note so the next order matches.
• Covers that breathe: summer air in Dubai is humid. Plastic covers hold in damp, but ours let it out on the drive back to Downtown.

Pickup for hanging clothes is free anywhere in Downtown Dubai, as it is for every service.

• What to send us: your building name, apartment number and a location pin.
• Landmarks that help: Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain, or the metro station on the Red Line by The Dubai Mall.
• Close by: we also collect free in DIFC and Trade Centre.

Hanging clothes picked up in Downtown Dubai usually come back the next day. We aim for 24 hours here, as we do in most of Dubai. Delicate fabrics can need longer. How long depends on the piece, and we'll tell you when you book.

Shirt needed tonight? Your booking has to be in before 2 PM. Express gets it back 5 hours after we collect, where your address is covered. Not every building is, so send us its name and we'll check.

Booking a pickup in Downtown Dubai? These are worth a mention.

• Food and drink: coffee, tea, wine or ketchup on a shirt. Say what was spilt.
• Make-up: foundation and lipstick leave marks on collars. Point them out.
• Sweat: Dubai summers often pass 38°C. Sweat turns white collars and kandura necks yellow, and it's easier to treat early.
• Deodorant: white marks on dark fabric and yellow patches on light fabric. They need different treatments.
• Perfume oil and oud: a drop can leave a ring on light-coloured cotton. Point to the mark, and name the oil if you can.

Each item's price includes pickup from your Downtown Dubai apartment, the clean and the delivery back. With our bed linen wash and fold, sheets and pillowcases come back clean, fully dry and neatly folded. A small pillowcase is treated as carefully as a big duvet, though it's dry much sooner.

• Looked over first: we check the seams and corners, and any stain you mentioned when booking.
• A clean machine for your order only: your bedding is washed on its own. A duvet needs space to move, or the water won't reach the middle.
• Mild detergent: it's hypoallergenic and biodegradable. That matters for pillowcases, which touch your face all night.
• Dried all the way: a duvet's cover dries before its filling. So we check the filling with our hands instead of going by the dryer clock.
• Packed dry: bedding never goes in a bag damp. It's folded, bagged and brought back to Downtown.

Duvet covers cost AED 31. The cover comes off and goes in a separate wash, so each part gets the cycle it needs.

1. Send us a list. Something like "one king duvet, two pillows and six bath towels". Add your building, apartment number and a location pin.
2. Get a time: we reply with a pickup slot and a return day.
3. Pack it. Each duvet needs a bag of its own, so roll it up tight. Sheets and towels can share another bag.
4. Free collection. From your door, or from your building's concierge if there is one.
5. Kept up to date. We'll message you on WhatsApp until it's delivered.

You can send us a WhatsApp message at any time. Guests arriving tomorrow? Book the night before to get the spare bed's sheets washed.

Duvets and comforters are AED 56 each, any size from single to king. Each one is cleaned in a slightly different way.

• Duvet: the soft, filled layer that goes inside a cover. Its cover has a separate price and a separate wash.
• Comforter: stitched through in squares, often patterned, and used without a cover. Some squares dry faster than others. We check every square before it's packed.
• Blanket: a standard one is AED 26, and bigger sizes cost more.
• Bedcover: AED 29. It sits on top, so it gathers the most dust. Dubai's shamal winds lift fine desert sand, and that dust settles on beds too. If it has tassels, beads or a fringe, please say so.

Is a seam split, or filling escaping? Send us a photo on WhatsApp before you book, and we'll say if it can be washed.

In Dubai's heat, sheets and pillowcases are washed far more often than duvets. So they usually wear out first.

• Sheets: AED 25 for flat or fitted. Send fitted sheets inside out, as small things get caught in the corners.
• Pillowcases: AED 9. Night cream, make-up and hair oil leave greasy marks on cotton. Show us the marks rather than scrubbing them.
• Pillows: AED 19 each. A pillow that has gone flat and lumpy is worn out, and a wash won't fix it. Memory foam must never be washed.
• Mattress protectors: AED 35. Heat can damage the waterproof layer. Please photograph the label and send it to us first.

Sending bedding from more than one bedroom? Tell us which set belongs to which room, so it's easy to check when it comes back.

Towels are AED 7 each and bathrobes are AED 19. Towels go stiff when soap stays in the loops. That's why each one gets two rinses and dries all the way.

• Bath towels: book soon after use. A damp towel left in a closed bag overnight will smell by morning.
• Gym towels: small towels hold sweat and stay wet. Let them dry on a rail before packing.
• Bathrobes: we check the thick collar twice, because it dries last. Tie the belt loosely round the robe so it travels with it.
• Sofa covers: a regular zip-off cover is AED 46. Mark which cushion each cover is from. Brush away any pet hair before packing.
• Tablecloths: AED 19. Tell us what was spilt, such as red wine or coffee, and don't rub it.

Don't pack damp towels in the same bag as a duvet. In humid weather the filling takes in moisture fast.

Please keep these out of your Downtown bedding order, because they can't be machine washed:

• Electric blankets and anything else with wires or a cable.
• Weighted blankets with glass or plastic pellets sewn in.
• Memory foam pillows and toppers.
• Anything with a do not wash label. Unsure? Photograph the label for us. You'll have an answer before pickup.

Clothes are booked separately. Folded things like T-shirts and jeans go in Wash & Fold. Hanging things like shirts and abayas go in Clean & Press. Give each service its own bag. A single driver collects them together. Our home linen guide has more bedding care tips.

Most of the time in duvet and comforter laundering is spent drying. The cover dries quite quickly. Down, feather and polyester fillings all hold water for hours. Even a little damp left inside makes a duvet smell musty in the cupboard.

• 48 to 72 hours: we keep thick bedding from Downtown Dubai this long. It gives the centre time to dry like the edges.
• Your return day: we'll tell you in the chat once you've booked.
